This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm trying out Freedom Cannabis' Secret Formula. It's a 28% THC Indica. The Terp profile is solid. If you're looking for a heavy creeper that gives you spins, this might be for you.To counteract the effects of this indica, I'm also smoking Trailblazers, Hustle & Haze pre rolls. They are a 14% THC with another 5% THCV, Sativa. I know it sounds like these are light, however the addition of THCV makes them more potent than what the numbers say. If you're looking for a productive sativa, you'll want to tune in for this review.I thought it would be fun to discuss some of the eye opening scenarios I've had as a first time dog owner. I've put her through 2 fazes of training and she definitely needs the third. However, I have noticed a few little details that, I think most people don't think about when considering getting a dog. This week on Thoughts Off The Stem. In the Stundenglass is a cured resin from 1964 called Orange juice. A sativa with loads of flavour. This weeks pre rolls are BC Doobies, White Chocolate. Another solid sativa. It has a flavour I can't put my finger on.With Tyler off at band practice. Justin went on a bit of a random rant about the state of society and his perception of the human race's inability to socially interact. Apparently we spend to much time being guarded and withdrawn rather than embracing the human element. Supposedly we've become so reliable on technology that the lines of socially acceptable interaction have become blurred. To the point where we take offence at the attempt for communication and interaction. This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, we figured since we talk about hash enough, it's time we smoke some on the show. So we loaded up the G-pen Connect in the Stundenglass with a nice little ball of hash in an attempt to see how it would smoke.In this sesh we tried out Divvy's Blueberry Hash along with a few pre rolls and some concentrates in the Yocan Pillar. I took a nutropic before the show because I have always wondered if they work and whether or not they would melt my brain. A lot of neurologists do state that the effects of nutropics are no more than the placebo effect. There are a few who recognize that some of the compounds in a nutropics ingredients may provide some neurological health benefits. Kinda funny considering, that in this day and age some doctors are starting to recognize that some of the components that make up cannabis may also provide some health benefits. What I'm saying is, it's kind of funny to me, that we are so hesitant to recognize and accept the capabilities of natural health aids.It's a little sad that our nutrition has basically devolved in to eating edible paste in a multitude of forms. I'm starting to understand why people see the future of humanity as us evolving in to grey alien looking beings with the ability to telepathically communicate. We as a society are so driven by profit that we operate like a Miami coke dealers from the 80's. Lets import the best foods then step on it several times and cut it with whatever will raise profits. Forget what it does to the population. Who care's if customers drop dead or suffer major health issues. They don't know it but they need food pumped full of preservatives, hormones and steroids.This sesh was super fun. Maybe it was the nutropics, maybe it was the weed or maybe it was the mix of the two but my brain was working with a level of focus that I haven't felt in a long time. The conversation seemed to run a little more smoothly. Even though we smoked copious amounts of marijuana I noticed there was no real lull or space outs in the conversation. Placebo effect or not there seemed to be a notable difference in my brains ability to function and stay focused. Doesn't that mean that the Placebo effect may also be a positive health benefit? If your brain thinks it's working better and your body thinks it's function better isn't that actually a good thing?This one was super fun to do. This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm solo. Tyler couldn't make it this week, it's all good though. He'll be back next week.So this week is a bit of catch up. It's also quite the brain fart. I had an idea but i got high. I was trying to talk about the differences in generations and their work ethic, as well as their thought process and beliefs about what work really is.Ultimately i'm pretty sure I sounded like a grumpy old man who can't change with the times. There is some good stuff in there it's just between all the pauses and forgetting where I was going and what I was doing.If nothing else this should be a good laugh and a good depiction of what a sativa that changes your world, is like.There is a point where I pull it together a little bit. I also review a couple strains and discuss the idea of flavour. For example, when people ask me if there is anything that tastes like a specific thing, such as cherries, in flower. Well not really. Weed tastes like weed man. With maybe a hint of some sort of flavour, but that's far and few between.The first half is a little slow but again it really does do a good job of depicting the start of the high from that massive bong hit. The space out that comes with the initial hit, followed by the inability to keep track of the conversation. It starts with product knowledge and customer service. Greeting customers at the door with a welcoming and upbeat attitude is the first step in creating trust and customer base who know your shop is there spot.We understand that there are to many Budtenders out there that are lacking knowledge or are only in it for the discount. It is our top priority to hire people that compliment each others skills and show a genuine interest in the products we sell. This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we're talking about the fact that the Ontario Cannabis Store has a 500 million dollar stock pile of cash. What's concerning about this is, that when marijuana was legalized for recreational consumption, part of the deal was that in Ontario the OCS would give back a portion to the government in order to help fund government and city services in Ontario.Meaning that there could be an influx of cash injected into Ontarios economic infrastructure, education system and our healthcare system. These are just a few of the areas we badly need a financial boost. As a country and as a province we are all struggling financially to keep up with an astonishingly rapid rate of inflation, unaffordable housing along with the inability to put an acceptable and filling amount of food on our tables. This government clearly doesn't care about anything but their pockets and we shouldn't be ok with that.This is just my opinion obviously but it would be really hard for anyone out there to convince me otherwise at this point. How, as leaders of anything can you have huge all encompassing financial burden, spread thick across your population and do nothing with a 500 million dollar surplus? You made this available to yourself when writing legislation during the legalization of a new industry, that you knew would potentially put mass amounts of funds back into the infrastructure of the province. Our current government seemingly doesn't care to fix the mess it's made unless it benefits individual members of congress. Our current administration has given us a full middle finger salute by ineffectively managing the province and the country.The fact that they are willing to leave 500 million dollars in a bank account while our education, healthcare and food sectors are falling deeper into financial ruin, screams they don't care about alleviating the financial burden they imposed on Canadian citizens.I didn't realize how much this mattered or angered me until I read an article on mjbiz.com that outlined exactly what's going on with this 500 million dollar surplus. It's aggravating and baffling that giving that surplus back was built into the structure of legalized cannabis in Ontario and not one politician has come to their senses enough to ask for what is theirs/ours. Mean while a bag of apples now cost $8.99. Our government is clearly a joke at this point. We had shot this right after another seshisode so it's basically a double sesh! We had big plans for this sesh but alot of concentrates in a short amount of time put us in a completely different direction. Apparently the relaxation and clearity of this concentrate motivated me to start strong with a rant about age gates, IDing customers and the attitudes of men in my generation and older. Honestly they whine like babies over having to produce a piece of plastic upon entry to the shop. Even thought it's the law they still pick fights with college kids who are just trying to work in an industry they enjoy. This kind of attitude is the reason that the generations after us are having a harder time succeeding. Instead of understanding the rules and regulations these dudes and dudettes think they are the centre of the universe and are willing to cause a colloge kid to go further into debt by potentially being fined. These middle aged door knobs who think the orld revolves around them should take a second and think about why the process is the way the process is.
The customer is not always right! Especially when they decide to berate retail employees based on regulations and laws that are out of their control. Seriously! Society needs an injections of decorum. The older we get the more capable we should be of interacting maturely. I mean , we all have to co-exist right?!

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem. I bought a puppy for the kids for Christmas. I know it's a little early but you know when things just work out and it seems like fate? Well that was kinda the deal with this.
I'd been looking for a dog since the spring and dealt with a few scammers. Took a break from looking then a couple weeks a go the kids started pouring on "we want a puppy" talk. So I started looking again and lucked out.
Now we're the proud owners of an American Bully puppy.
Since I'm on this new adventure that is dog ownership, I figured I should find out what would happen if the dog was to get in to my stash. 'Cause let's be honest. I have a lot of weed in the house. It's kinda my job to know what the deal is, ya know?! Now that I know I figured I'd let you know what happens if your doggo gets into your stash-o.
Lately in my attempt to quit smoking cigarettes I've started to eat more edibles but I get tired of gummies, there just isn't enough to satisfy my fat guy hunger. I always feel shorted. Recently I was introduced to some infused snacks better suited for my taste buds. I'll give you a hint... It's perfect for a party or a football game.
Honestly these infused treats are some of the best I've come across, full of flavour and they come in a perfect single serving. All though the potency is low (no their fault by the way. It's the government regulations) they help maintain your buzz,

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem I'm talking about quitting smoking cigarettes. I have tried for years to stop smoking. The last couple months I actually have a handle on it and haven't had a cigarette in over 40 days now. In this sesh I detail what it was like to quit, how I prepared to quit, some tips I used to quit cigarettes and some of the tools I used to prepare myself for success.
When you're quitting smoking cigarettes, although it's a physical addiction you must prepare mentally for the journey you're about to take. Yes it's a journey. Think of it like Zelda's quest. You get really excited about starting out, then quickly get frustrated over the lack of progress, but ultimately you keep going because you want to see where the story takes you.
I found a method for me that seems to be working really well. Hopefully after listening or watching the sesh these tips and tools can help you smoking cigarettes and start you on your tobacco less journey.
I would like to say that I'm not putting this out there because I'm on some self righteous kick. I'm just offer some advice and empathy to those that are trying to make this monumental change. It's tough enough to go through this transition on your own. Hopefully this will help those people work their way through the ups and downs of the first few days and weeks of quitting cigarettes.
I also know it's been a short time since I quit. Some people are going to be skeptical I know. I can tell you this is the umpteenth time I've tried to quit and this time is different. I don't have any urges for a cigarette nor do I think about it. I'm perfectly content without my little cigarette buddies.
This sesh is a bit long winded but I really wanted to make sure I did a thorough job of explaining myself even if I did over explain a little bit. I hope you enjoy the sesh and if you are quitting I hope something in here helps you achieve your goal of removing cigarettes from your life.

These were supposed to help me focus. They did not. They basically turned me into one giant brain fart for the show.Since I was all on my high horse about road rage last Sesh. That's right they thought they could take a wolf. They barely went outside yet killing a wold was easier than making Kraft Dinner in their mind.Let's just set the record straight. You're not killing a wolf with your bare hands. However the topic of this podcast is a list of people who did manage to fight off animals that tried to kill them.Yup my obsession with life continues. These people are definitely tougher than me. I'm pretty sure they are tougher than you and you won't believe the stuff they did to escape the jaws of some of the most ferocious animals on the planet.We've got a guy who bit a python, a woman who fought off a tiger with garden tools, a woman who saved her husband from a mountain lion with a ball point pen, a taxidermist who stangled a cougar and guy who beat up a tiger with his bike. There's a few more on the list but you get the point. I think I said the blunt was a sativa during the sesh it is not it's a Hybrid Leaning Indica. The 5 Loco is actually an infused pre-roll I disassembled and put in the bong. It was super tasty and great hit to start the show.Let's discuss the city planners of Guelph and their inability to schedule construction and road maintenance without pushing a city into chaos. It's turned any commute through Guelph in to a mad max style race to survive. The energy in the city is thick with anxiety, aggression and malice. It's got everyone thinking they are Jason Statham in the Transporter.I'm not above admitting that I'm all amped up to and as much as I'm willing to take responsability for my idiocy, I think the city has a little responsibility to accept on this too. This week's thoughts off the stem are inspired by mystery weed. It's a home grown sample I was given by a co-worker. It was surprisingly nice. I have no idea what the thc content was. Maybe low 20's. It might have been an indica, but it definitely hyped me up so maybe hybrid? I'm not sure.I can tell you it was a nice dense nug that had a sweeter flavour. It was trimmed well and smoked smooth. I ended up smoking that in the bong, the whole episode.A side from home grown I'm also highlighting a new accessory I picked up. The Davinci Artiq. It's a vape battery for your 510 cartridge. These could possibly be the silliest theories out there.This rabbit hole of conspiracies lead down a path to weaponized animals. I think there needs to be more discussion about this. However I do think that encorporating animals into our defensive insanity is not a good move.There really shouldn't be a need to have animals do our bidding. Talking about the longevity of producers who limit their production vs those that over produced in attempt to gain a foothold on the market. Where they are now and who is coming out on top.We never would have thought a story worthy experience would include a bathroom in a speakeasy at summer fair but it did. That's right we also give you a run down of the Kind summer fair. It's ok we make fun.To wrap it all up we sent Anna on a "Where's Waldo" style hunt at the No Future booth. It may have stemmed from Tyler and I being grown children. Or it could have been the extensive list of pre rolls, concentrates and edibles we indulged during the kind summer fair. By we I mean Tyler from the shop and myself of course. Tyler was previously on Seshisode 99. For those who think he might look familiar.
Through work we were lucky enough to get a couple tickets for day one. So this sesh we are recapping the adventure that was our journey to KIND.
The day was amazing. It was one long smoke sesh, a stoner christmas if you will. There was way too much consumption going on through out the day to list it here. We do a pretty good job of rattling everything off during the sesh. Which means you're gonna get a pretty good list of enjoyable day time smoke you can enjoy in large groups.
As we work our way through the sack of free samples we each got. We'll take you on a guided tour of what to expect when attending a cannabis fair. Peppering in a few stories about the goings on and the people we met.
Potheads are definitely the most accepting and inclusive groups of fun havers I've ever been around. So being able to sample a bunch of new strains, try some existing but "new to me" strains and share the experience with such a large group of strangers, was amazing.
You might say it rekindled my faith in humanity a little bit. Like the best of the best sesh circles, this one's got all the giggles.

It's a fine line I tell ya.Since we're discussing the things most important to us. I thought it would be a good lead in to the weed facts this week. Which are about cannabis and your pets. We care deeply about our pets, after all they are family. So we want to care for them the best way we can. This has lead people to see if cannabis can help their furry family members, as it dose our not so furry ones.No matter what you decide to do with your pets, I want to make it clear that, in no way am I telling you, you should give your pets cannabis products. We are just discussing an article that discussed some research findings under controlled testing with animals and the ingesting of THC and CBD. I recommend that you discuss any thoughts you have with your vet.Having said that, I thought this article was a good starting point with some basic starting information about giving your pet cannabis products.

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Seshisode 107 - Death by Nets Pot, Canabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome and a 25 ft Wave of Molasses, we're taking a walk through my morbid sense of humour. As if we don't have enough to worry about with covid, heart disease, cancer and all the other ailments that might lead to our demise. We also have to worry about some every day actions that may take us out. Sure pop machines could fall on us if we get a little to aggressive when our purchase gets stuck. Laughter doesn't always prove to be the best medicine. Constipation could be more deadly than just being blocked up, grumpy and uncomfortable. Especially if you pour really baring down when dropping off your daily deposit. Before you use that neti pot you better be sure it's not a vessel for a brain eating amoeba. Now that the global AI game is ramping up. We also need to take heed of past interactions with robots or at least the types of machinery controlled by them. The last thing you want is to be turned in to human soup when they rise up and try to take over their constrictive creators.As a special mention I also found quite the tale of Molasses in Boston, the devastation a syrupy goo can unleash on a city is amazing to me. So stick around until the end when we discuss a 25ft wave of molasses that did it's best to take over a city.Since we are talking about weird and seemingly avoidable ways to die. I thought it would be a good idea to have a look at CHS, Canabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome in this weeks weed facts. It affects a small amount of marijuana users and is primarily noticed in long term daily use consumers. However it seems to becoming more prevalent as weed becomes more acceptable and accessible. On this episode of Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm smoking concentrates. Starting the show off with a couple hits of Sour Green Mango Live Rosin, by EarthWolf Farms. It's a Sativa and comes in at 59% THC. Mid sesh I got a hankering for Wagners Blue Lime Pie Diamonds. It's a Hybrid coming in at 82% THC and it amped me up. Not only am I reviewing these wonderful concentrates, but I also took some time to Review some accessories including, the L'il Dipper dab straw and the Yocan Pillar. It's all the flavour and all the highs in easy to use compact smoking accessories.
A special shout out to Msiku Frozen Lemon Shatter, which I didn't get to try this sesh, but thought I should mention as I had mentioned it in the show. It's definitely worth the try. It's a Sativa, coming in at 84.1% THC, full of flavour and one of the more social highs I have experienced. Especially in a concentrate.
People never cease to amaze me. As high as I get off concentrates I can confirm there has never been a time when my reality has been altered enough to pose the question... Hey! I wonder if this fish bowl will fit up my butthole?
That was not the case for the feature of this Seshisode. In fact it's quite the opposite. The people featured in this sesh, posed similar questions then followed through with some action. Unfortunately for them those actions led them strait into the emergency room then on to the X-ray lab and most likely laid out on an operating table in order to reclaim the objects logged in their holiest of holies. Since we are talking about things reclaimed from human suitcases. I thought it would be fitting that we discuss how to reclaim previously used concentrates. The removal of small bits of debris for future use is always exciting even if it is a little messy. Retrieving concentrate reclaim, however, is way more worth while than trying to pry a beer bottle out of a butthole with a wire hanger. The resounding answer was to remove the unnecessary and excessive financial burden the system has imposed. Hopefully the discussion actually yields some change. We need it.
Another aspect to some of the issues the industry faces is the capping of edibles. Meaning edibles can't be potent, basically. Adults want to be able to choose for themselves. They don't want to be told what to do. This is a case where in essence we are being treated like kids. This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, it's the 100th Seshisode. Celebrate 100 episodes with Beau and I. Join us for a constant cloud and 100 minutes of consecutive puffing.
To start the sesh off right we have some Cuban Linx by Tribal at 27.7% THC, in the bong, which I hit a couple times. I've also rolled up a few more Cuban Linx joints that we smoke through. In between the Cuban Linx rolls, we smoke some Mocha OG by Green Seal at 24%THC. The theme of the sesh was Sativa as everything we smoked needed to keep us energized. It worked mostly.
As we worked our way through some really potent petals we discussed a variety of topics. We started off discussing what it would be like to take a cruise, how big the ships are and the fact that it's basically an island with a destination. Which leads nicely into Beau's scuba diving story which sounded like a great time. I really hope his cruise goes well.
I gave Beau the opportunity to tell his side of the stand up comedy club story. I had discussed it on a previous episode and wanted to give him the opportunity to explain his perspective on the situation.
Since we're having a smoke sesh celebration. Of course I have to explain how dab rigs work. Because of course I'm going to do a dab and I'm trying some diamonds in the yocan orbit. I'm telling you, it's the perfect portable dab rig.
Once the high started to set in we got all educational and talked about my experience with Slaughter House 5, the Kurt Vonnegut book. Here's a hint, it involved a lot of weed and resulted in a completely changed perspective.

This week I'm trying out Pineapple P in the bong. It's from BLKMKT because I am still working my way throught the cognoscente craft taster flight. Everyone thinks they can do stand up comedy. It's a totally different animal when you are up there on stage with a bunch of fresh faces expecting you to make them laugh. To do stand up comedy you have 5 minutes to get the crowd on your side, then make them laugh. It's not as easy as it looks. Since I like a challenge and a good story I took a shot at being a comic in my twenties. Meaning I tried it once. It didn't go well, I never tried it again. So I figured I would tell you the story.
Let's follow that up with the time a friend blew up at comic right in the middle of his set. Yup! We had to leave. The audience was pissed and the comedy club gave us two tickets. Weird I know! Even more amazing was the fact that I thought the comedian was going to light him up. Nope, he started debating the merit of his stand up act. I thought, this isn't time for a debate. It's time for a verbal beat down. Well that didn't happen and I realized in that moment, we were watching a really bad comedian. If you're gonna be a stand up comedian, it shouldn't matter what the heckler says. You gotta light that dude up for interrupting your set. Especially when they are way to drunk to be talking smack.

This week I'm smoking Organic Watermelon Z it came in at 21% THC from the Cognocente craft pack, made by BlkMkt I believe. I'm pretty sure it was a sativa based on the terp profile and the high to be honest. I got very expressive. Any way that's what was in the bong. For our joint we are smoking my favourite blunt. Presidente by Lobo. It is a hash infused blunt, complete with glass tip. It is 30% THC, it's also a sativa and is a must if you like a really nice blunt. Pick it up for special occasions.

I don't know if you've ever been to a work related function hella high, but I did. Recently the Kind winter fair was held in Toronto. Being a budtender/shift lead I as lucky enough to get a ticket to day two. Kind is the most popular cannabis magazine Canada at the moment. They have been holding these festival/party/convention/trade show functions since 2020 I believe. It's basically a place for industry people to schmooze try new products, get new products and pick the brains of their favourite growers.
The best part of this whole situation was the expectation that you enjoy the experience to the fullest by testing everything. It was the first time I got to fully enjoy a work function so high that a blow up igloo had my equilibrium all messed while I discussed the development process of one of my new favourite strains. Black Markets Peanutbutter Mac. It's one of the craziest getting high experiences I've had in a long time. The whole conversation I spent it mentally trying to stop myself from floating away and it was perfectly acceptable.
It was quite the experience especially when you take into account I had eaten 140 mg of edibles on an empty stomach about 20 min before entering the venue. Dude when I say I was in my own little world I mean I was bopping to music that only played in my head. My legs felt like slinkies and I didn't recognize any of the scenery on the walk back to our car.

I'm still smoking Citrus Skunk by Green Seal to open the show. What can I say? When I find something I like I'm loyal. Also, it's just a really great sativa. It comes in at a solid 24% THC. Today's pre-roll is the very tasty Peach Rings by General Admission. A resin infused, keif wrapped half gram joint. I'm pretty sure it's a hybrid with a sativa lean. It certainly sativa'd me up. It was 38% THC and super tasty.
There are a lot of good budtenders out there, but there are a lot of bad ones too. It's frustrating when you're trying to make an impact. This sesh I’m smoking Citrus Skunk from Green Seal at 24% THC, the perfect sativa, in my opinion. Since I’m introducing you to “Kong” my new triple perk, triple chamber, 19” bong. It had to be a strong sativa, or words would have been difficult. The joint today is a pre-roll called Laughing Gas by Cookies, a Hybrid at 23% THC. It lived up to it’s name for sure. This sesh I'm smoking Frosted Cherry from PotLuck. It's an Indica at 18% THC. I've said it before and I'll say it again this strain will throw you for a loop. Some times it hits and some times it's doesn't. I also took a hoot off the Yocan Armor pen. I had a little hash and shatter in there. The shatter was from Shaterizer, it's their White Widow Strain. It's a hybrid with 69% THC. The hash I don't have stats on. It wasn't mine and we loaded it up at my buddies party on the weekend. The mix lasts a while and it's a great hit.

I had such a good time telling stories on the 420 episode, that I decided to tell you about how I became a cautionary tale at my high school, for all the new English students In the senior English class. The night we got to "decorate" the school the school in October of our senior year. Decorating meant steeling pumpkins, from pumpkin patches, racing through back roads with a friend in the bed of my pick up truck and getting shot at by farmers. At least we think we were shot at. We heard a loud bang, saw a porch light go on and figured since we were stealing his pumpkins he let her rip. The weed facts are a couple claims to the medical benefits of marijuana. They seemed to be lacking context but they had a couple points I didn't know about. In accordance with my new found obsession over megafauna and giant prehistoric animals, with have 3 new additions to the surprisingly large animals that used to exist. This sesh I'm smoking Pedro's Sweet Sativa, by Color. It is a 19-20% Thc Sativa, with a 2% Terpene profile that makes it smoke more like a 25% bud. It tastes sweet, smokes full and smells like that weed you used to get as a kid. I paired it with a little shatterizer shatter in the Yocan Armor pen. The shaterizer shatter is a full gram for less than $50. It has a 69% Thc content, but again, because of the terpene profile it smokes closer to an 80%. Because of the terps, it's also pliable. Unlike most shatters it doesn't break break and snap like other kinds. It peels, so you can roll it into a ball like hash and add it to a join or just enjoy it in a dab rig or on top of the flower in your bong. It is a very versatile shatter.

It does mix well with Do-Si-Do Shatter from Dymond Concentrates. That's right we got into the Yocan pen again and it really did help balance the high from the Gorilla Berry.

This is the first time I found a nug with 30% or more THC from a dispo. It was fair price and it definitly gets you high. If you are new to smoking this will be alot. if you're a veteran, you'll probably find it a mid. it waz a really fun ride and it did last a long time. like a good 4 hrs.
The CBD drops were because I found out I'm old. Playing basketball with a 10 yr old every day has me a little stiff. For me it works really well for recovery and relxation. don't expect to get high though. Also best practice is to drop it under your tongue.

Today I'm smoking on 'Ness Chocolate Cheesecake, an indica at 23% THC. My neighbor dropped off some of his Bruce Banner home grown. It's a 60/40 Sativa leaning hybrid. I started watching horror movies with my daughters. My youngest decided she wanted to watch "Chucky" so we started there. Then branched off to the Scream series. When that didn't do the trick we moved on to Amityville Horror. That did the trick. Scared them enough to have my youngest have to sleep in my room and my oldest got so scared she punched me in the head in the middle of the movie. My son will not watch anything remotely scary.

What's a green out? It's when you smoke a little to much weed and you experience symptoms like nausea, sweats, chills, the spins, and a sense of impending doom. Your skin goes pale, your hands get clammy and the next thing you know, you're either throwing up or passing out in the middle of the party. Essentially a green out is very similar to the feeling of a panic attack. Where does this feeling come from? Well, it's the over stimulation of your cannabinoid receptors, which creates an almost diabetic like dip in your blood sugar levels, especially if you haven't eaten. Here is the upside, you can feel the green out coming. The down side is, that you've been smoking weed and maybe having a few drinks, so stopping the slide is a little over whelming but it can be done. The upside is that you feel the green out coming and you can stop it in it's tracks by eating a little bit of sugar and reversing the effects.
