The Quotables Podcast comes to an end! This has been a labor of love, but lately it has been more labor than love. Cheryl and I truly want to thank all our listeners, contibutors, guests, and all you out there who supported our podcast!
We hope together you have enjoyed journeying with us as we have laughed and learned about many famous quotes and not so famous quotes. The interesting people who have shaped this world around us past, present, and future.

Being a steward is not just in the holy sense, but also in using your God given talents to express yourself, and in helping others realize their true potential. What are you doing to be a steward?

Just because the subject of this week's podcast died almost 900 years ago, it doesn't mean he has nothing to say to us today. Thanks to the new Pope for reminding us that Saint Francis of Assisi was a man ahead of his time. If you have ever seen a Nativity scene or worried about peace in the Middle East, this episode is for you.

On the celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s 84th birthday and upcoming observance of the day celebrating his historic life, we wanted to discuss some of his best quotes, as well as a few lesser known quotes. We know you will enjoy this member of "The Quotables Hall of Fame" as well as an example of the great American MLK was to so many, and the power of influence his words and actions have on our country, as well as his relevance today.

His character not only offered up some of the nastiest insults on television but his attempted murder spawned and entire industy for merchandisers and for spoofsters that is still going strong 30 years later.

Also, we celebrate Thanksgiving with more famous quotes from days gone by, as we reflect of the blessings ourselves and our country has been given.
