I feel that we are crap at dealing with grief, whether it's our own grief or supporting others. This podcast will explore raw grief and how various people are dealing with it. I'm a widow, aged 47 and I will be talking about my own experiences and also chatting with others that are dealing with various forms of grief.
Things have been great lately, so of course there's always obstacles to trip you up and remind you, who you are, why you are where you are, and that you're beautiful loving calm husband still isn't here and never will be again.
I really wished that was possible... the lovely Sue Thomas has chatted with me again openly and honestly about how she is obviously still dealing with her loss of Chris....
The photos I share of my life on social media.... DO NOT show the downside, I only choose to post the upside. So I guess this podcast is to give my grief its equilibrium.
It is a very personal journey and one which most people keep those snippets to themselves.
But here I am baring my soul and I'm ok with that.

Manic few days for me, probably upset some of my besties too.... for that I am sorry....I'm really trying to get back some form of normality.... whatever the fuck that means in this day and age of being a widow !
Had a lovely natter to my friend and fellow Wid, Sue this morning.
We have blown away the cobwebs on the beach before I head back East to Berkshire.

Today's Podcast has been a learning curve because this platform only allows 5 minute takes ... I will learn how to do a longer running time in the future but while I had Nicki Spaniels here with me I didn't want to waste a moment .... so apologies for the short 5 minute clips (now all stuck together into one episode!)
