Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. One of the enduring lies of Satan is that diversity is a source of strength. It’s not. The wrong kind of diversity weakens, divides, and destroys. It is unity that makes us strong. America, until recently, has enjoyed a profound unity of cultural values. We’ve shared an agreement on cultural standards regarding God, the Ten Commandments, sex, marriage, and the sanctity of human life, and that is what has made us strong and powerful. As that unity is attacked and destroyed in the name of diversity, America becomes progressively weaker. Harvard scholar Robert Putnam’s research concluded that diversity, right down to the community level, causes social withdrawal, isolation,distrust, civic disengagement and unrest, and reduced community involvement. Diversity does not unite communities, it divides them and eventually destroys them. We can do better.
