Zaya Wade the 15-year-old transgender daughter of basketball superstar Dwayne Wade who started her transition at the tender age of 12 was recently in the news due to her birth mother Siohvaughn Funches filing a petition to stop the gender and name change of her transgender daughter Zaya, born Zion Wade.
I had so many questions after hearing this story. This topic is universal, so I wanted to get the views and opinions of parents and child-free people from across the globe.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Shayne from London England who is a father of 3, Ben from Paris France who is child-free, Lavonne from Detroit Michigan who is a mother of two, and Joy from Florence South Carolina who is child-free.

Puberty Blockers - also called hormone blockers, help delay unwanted physical changes that don't match someone's gender identity.
Transitioning - is the time period during which a person begins to live according to their gender identity, rather than the gender they were assigned at birth.
