When we carry the glory of God we walk & talk different. We need His glory in our lives!
God has the perfect plan in our lives and when we decide to not follow his plan it complicates our lives. Rest in his presence and following his plan is the better way to live our lives.
If you don’t answer who you are, the devil will. Our identity comes from God & not from culture. Who are you in God?
We can’t deal the people comfort when we should be dealing them compassion. God saved you so you can be a light to a dark world. Addicting yourself to the work of the ministry will not bring you comfort. God will always ask you to do something you’re not willing or think you can’t do.
We are wired to be addicted to the house of God. We are falling asleep as a generation. The more of you that you give Him, the more of Him that you receive.
Our family is called to live for God, to honor God, and to do something great for God. If we don't get our homes right, we will never get our life right.
Faith is believing that God will work all things together for His good. Trust is knowing that God will work all things together for His good.
Just because you’ve been saved doesn’t mean your fire is still burning. The only way to keep your fire burning is to throw fresh logs on the fire.
God’s answer doesn’t always look like your request. This Christmas season it's not about the lights on the tree, it's the light that went to the tree. (Jesus)
The Bible calls us to live beyond our feelings & when the enemy presents us with shame, fear, doubt, & depression we need to return it because that is not from our creator.
Prayer will always require action. The enemy would love to convince you that you aren’t “good” at praying. But you can’t be bad at praying, and you can’t be good at praying. Praying is praying. It doesn’t have a rating system.
Depression, anxiety, disappointment, and fear rule the culture that we live in. The enemy wants to trap us in our perspective & God wants to lead us higher.
We can say we are heaven-bound, but maybe have no idea what that looks like. Heaven is a real place, occupied with real people for all of eternity.
Do you want to get well? Is the question Jesus is asking you in your life because a lot of people want to be healed but they do not want to get well.
The bible says that we are to strive after righteousness and hunger for it. What do you feed yourself spiritually? What we put in us will come out of us!
We need to stop viewing things from our perspective and get on God's perspective. We stop at our level but God wants us to get on his level of thinking!
Everyday life gives us multiple opportunities to practice our faith; the more we practice our faith, the greater our capacity to be filled with God. It isn’t enough to want to be filled with God, we need to be filled with God, but that requires walking through the refiner’s fire. Are you willing to be refined to be filled with God?
The Holy Spirit is not a discourager, the enemy will try to convince you that you are doing worse than you think! The enemy can steal our joy if he can control our focus, change your perspective!
We have to renew our minds and change what we think about. If you don’t think God thoughts you won’t get God responses.
The dove represents the Holy Spirit in the Bible! We spend most of our lives living in a box that someone else created and we try to put the holy spirit in a box. The Holy Spirit is meant to be our internal GPS & our strength in times of need!
A barn wasn’t made to be empty and clean; it was made to be full and messy. Like a barn, church can’t be both clean and full. If you want to be full and life-giving, you have to be willing to walk with people through their mess.
In your Christian walk, you’ll constantly be met by walls. On the other side of these walls is your next promise; you can let them intimidate you and walk away defeated, or you can be faith-filled and watch the walls fall before your eyes.
We declare war on burnout, fatigue, and Church hurt. Our Christian walk isn't about finding the right pace, sometimes we walk and sometimes we run but it's important to check our spiritual health when we get tired.
There is a difference between sound & noise in our lives. Noise doesn't bring clarity and makes people confused/disoriented with the truth. Sound can bring clarity & life to a situation or someone's life. Are our lives bringing people noise or sound?
Most of our problems can be linked back to trying to live a Christian life without a king on the throne. We have to bring the King back into our lives and carry him with us every day.
In our lives, we turn off our push notifications from God and don't listen to the holy spirit. We need to turn them on and not conform to the pattern of this world. Stinking thinking equals loose living and results in never changing.
The opposite of dangerous is harmless and we as Christians are not harmless because of the one who lives inside of us. Join Pastor Justin as he talks about Daniel in the lion's den and how everyone major story of the bible reverts back to the coming of Jesus.

There is a Well of life and living water that we have access to in our lives. Jesus is the Well of life and to many times we run to the world for answers and comfort. The World is a broken cistern that contains no living water.
Sometimes we get so focused on where we are going, that we forget where we’ve been. God is not only able but able to do immeasurably more. We have to have the power of Christ in us in order for God to work through us.

Jesus uses a parable about 3 men that walked by someone that was beaten and hurt along the road. Two of the men didn't help but a Samaritan took great pity on the man along the road and helped him. We need to make sure we share the road with people who are left for dead and are crying for help.
We all face giants in our life, and the reason why your giants haven't moved is because you haven't thrown a stone at it. Pastor Justin takes us through the whole story of how David defeated Goliath!
What consumes your thinking makes or breaks your identity. You get to choose where your mind goes. God is limitless. If we let Him work through us, we can accomplish so much more!
The church has become dry and Christians have become dry. Where there is a church there should be life, joy, peace, compassion, and enthusiasm. Where the river of God flows everything lives.
In the Christian life we have an identity crisis and we are to be committed to the faith. Commitment only starts when you do what you don't want to do.
When Peter denied Jesus 3 times and the rooster had crowed, could it be that the sound of the rooster means that His mercies are new every morning?
The enemy has stolen the identity of the Church and of Christians. We were designed to have eagle like faith and not chicken faith. Eagles have a greater perspective because of their flight and God desires us to have a greater perspective over our lives.

God never called us to easy, and if we provide the hustle God will provide the harvest. There will be obstacles and God is taking us through a process to help reach the world with the gospel.
“I’ll start tomorrow” is a common phrase considering that we’re only promised today. The enemy wants us to focus on our yesterday or our tomorrow because it makes us miss the power of our today. When we go somewhere or do something out of habit, it’s easy to lose a heart of expectancy. But when we start without expecting, we end without receiving.
When God calls us to do something, the enemy usually tells us that what we have isn’t enough. But God doesn’t call us to be “enough”, He calls us to be obedient. Five barley loaves and two fish wasn’t “enough” to feed 5,000 men, but it wasn’t until the little boy brought what he had that Jesus was able to do what only He could. When we bring what we have, God can do radical things.
When we can’t see the result of perseverance, quitting is often the easiest choice. But if we could see the end-result, then it wouldn’t be called faith, it’d be called sight. If you want to have more faith, quitting won’t get you there; the best way to gain more faith is the willingness to walk through more fire.
Our lives have to be built on a firm foundation, so when the storms come they will not move us. In order to get to the blessing you have to be willing to dig deep into your life and tear out the old foundation so that you can build a new one.
There is a difference between good criticism and bad criticism. Jesus dealt with critics all the time in the bible and he always celebrated life change in people. Critics don't want you to win, they only want to be negative.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. We all struggle with patience in our life and we make unreal expectations of God to fulfill our every wish. God isn't a genie in a bottle, He is after your whole heart and without faith it is impossible to please God.
We as Christians need a strong conviction in our lives, to live holy, to live blessed, to glorify God. We aren't called to be like everyone else, we are called to live a life that honors God. And when we have a strong conviction we do whatever we can to see people saved.
As Christians we have the tendency to grow weary in doing good. The Apostle Paul encourages us in the scriptures to not give up in doing good. Join Pastor Justin as he talks about how we reap what we sow and how to not grow weary in doing good.
God gives the gift of salvation, it is freely given and not earned through works. God gives us the gift to save us and to work through us but some Christians want to keep their gifts to themselves and that isn't how God designed it to work. He gives us the gift so that it can work through us to reach other people with the gospel!
It's common to point out the problem and never be about the solution. We aren't called to be common, we are called to be uncommon in this world. It's easy to look down on people to make yourself feel good but it's uncommon to look inward & make a change!
We forgive others because we were forgiven by Christ and it should be a lot easier to love our neighbor when we understand that. We live in a culture that is constantly offended, as Christians we don't need to be right, we need to be effective!
In a world full of hate, we need Christians that show Christ's love. The more exposed you are to the world around you, the more immune you become in your life unless you are connected to the source of Christ's love.
Stuck in the middle of being saved & being sanctified. Are we still playing around with the things that Jesus died for? Salvation is an amazing moment and sanctification is the process of being refined like Christ.
The devil has taken the microphone away from the Church and we have divided over issues that have blinded us to the biggest command that Jesus gave; "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
The bible says that "The Thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. As a christian we have to protect our home for our family because if we don't, we are subject to the enemy's attacks.
Family is one of the greatest inventions that God has created & given to us. Family is essential to us as individuals and our culture but we have gotten so busy that we have neglected the responsibility of what it means to be a part of a family. Assembly is required and biblical principles must be applied to build a healthy family.
The power of prayer is greatly underestimated in our lives. Prayer should not be our last resort, it should be the first thing we go to in times of need. Your prayers aren't meant to impress anyone, they are about the intention of your heart.
If you never see the value, you will never extend a hand. We tend to treat the church the same way we treat a new car. It has value for a little while but once you've been around it for so long, it loses value in your mind. We love people because of the value that Jesus gives us through the cross.
A canary can still sing in a cage and even though you are a Christian you can still live your life bound even though God has set you free. In life we get caught up in disfunction and if we don't change our environments it can lead to our destruction!
Why bother believing for more? Why bother even coming to Church when you haven't received what you've been asking for? Why bother, because he hears us and if God started something in your life he will see it through to completion. We reminder ourselves daily of the vision of why we exist & are planted in the world as Christians, to reach broken people.
Often times in our lives God will take us in the direction we don't want to go because that's where our healing takes place. Success is relative and our culture says that you cannot be successful and struggle because to be successful means you have to be perfect.
Sin destroys our relationships, people we care about, and it destroys who we are. Sin separates us from God but because Jesus died for us, he was the substitute for our sin and bridges the gap that we could never fill. Sin is much more destructive than we think and it is the Elephant In The Room of todays culture.
What do you do when you are feeling numb, helpless or just don't have the energy to move on? King David battled with himself a lot in scriptures and we can learn from David in how he overcame those inner battles.
Most of our walk as Christians is our journey through the wilderness. The first thing Jesus encountered when he walked into the wilderness was Satan and he was tempted but Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Justin used Matthew 22 to help us understand how the reality of church (specifically TWC) is different from the world’s perception of the church / the kingdom of God. Jesus was and is “the life of the party,” so our church will be fun; will be a family as we walk alongside one another, live in community, and celebrate corporately what God is doing in our lives separately; will be filled with people and the Holy Spirit. He reminded us that everyone in the room has an issue: “The church isn’t full of good people; it’s full of broken people that are only made good when God gets invested in their lives.”
