I recorded this as a video a few days after my journey with mushroom plant medicine, a few weeks before the holidays. It’s a big share. But I’m passionate as hell about using this plant intentionally for healing. And I'm still seeing the positive effects from that night!
.
You should know, if you don't already, that this medicine is incredibly safe. Despite what you have been taught to believe, and despite what you may have experienced in college when you used it recreationally. :)
.
It's a powerful spiritual plant and should be respected as such.
.
I want to be clear that while I talk about “seeing” a particular traumatic event during my journey in this video, and doing some weeping, I don’t believe this has to be everyone’s experience with entheogenic (psychedelic) plants. The other participants in my group seemed to be having a very outwardly positive and not-so-weepy time. Every experience is different!
.
Also, at one point I share that the guide offered me the advice “the pain is the healing” but what I meant to say / what he said was “the pain is the teacher.” Same difference, right?
.
The wound is the place where the light enters you.
.
A plant medicine guided journey can help you see that light (and yes, oftentimes see the darkness too! But its shrouded in light) and help you heal the wounds in a way you never thought possible.
.
What questions do you have about using entheogenic plants for healing? An entheogen is a psychedelic plant specifically used for spiritual purposes. Both mushrooms and cannabis are considered entheogenic plants.
.
Thanks for your support. I understand this isn’t for everyone but it's an important piece in my healing journey. Maybe it can help someone on their journey to heal too.
.
Xo, Ry
