Michael Jordan, and Denny Hamlin's 23XI racing, along with Front Row Motorsports file a joint antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR and Jim France.
In a statement released today “We share a passion for racing, the thrill of competition, and winning. Off the racetrack, we share a belief that change is necessary for the sport we love. Together, we brought this antitrust case so that racing can thrive and become a more competitive and fair sport in ways that will benefit teams, drivers, sponsors, and, most importantly,
fans.”
It's no telling how long this litigation could last, but 23XI and Front Row Motorsports both intend to run the 2025 season as intended.

Sunday's USA Today 301 at New Hampshire motor speedway became a test of the wet weather package for the first time in a points paying race. Amazingly we saw five wide racing on the mile oval as teams raced the wet weather tire. Christopher Bell had a fast car in the dry but especially on the wet, leading to Bell's third victory this season, and second of the weekend after winning Saturday's Xfinity race.

Sonoma's repave proved to be a success as we saw slick track conditions cause chaos early on in Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350, there would be 8 cautions by the end of stage 2, but by stage three the drivers got a handle on their cars and the fans got to see a bunch of strategies play out. In the end it would be Kyle Larson on 13 lap fresher tires pass Martin Truex Jr for the win. Unfortunately for Truex, he ran out of gas on the final lap and would finish sub 20th place.

The third best car won, but that shouldn't take away from a very needed and impressive run as the 2 car of Austin Cindric found themselves in Victory Lane. Although Bell and Blaney had better cars through out the day Cindric held his own getting the outside pole position, and leading 53 laps to land him a playoff spot putting himself in position to capitalize on Bell's engine issues, and Blaney running out of fuel on the last lap.

Weather impacted the day in more way than one, as rain delayed the Indy 500 killing Kyle Larsons chance at running the double. Larson completed the Indy 500 and flew back to Charlotte bringing the rain with him. Christopher Bell had a strong lead when the final caution of the night came out, CBell would be announced the winner a few hours later when NASCAR called the race official.

After an intense battle between Tyler Reddick and William Byron early on different pitting strategy would put him in the middle of the pack. William Byron would go on to dominate the middle of the race until Tyler Reddick could get on the same pit cycle as the leader and go on to win stage 2. Fuel strategy took up a lot of the story line later on with both the leader Reddick and 2 nd place Byron showing about a lap short on fuel. The question was could they save enough to make it to the end, as the trackhouse cars put pressure on the pair. A late caution with 12 to go would shake everything up, leading to restart after restart as we had multiple attempts at NASCAR overtime. In the end Tyler Reddick would score his first win of the season, and his first win in the 45 car.

Intrigue of a new short track rules package led much of the conversation going into the weekend, but the race at Phoenix would not live up to the anticipation. 2nd Larson lead for 29 laps, battled a lot at the end, just overdrove a corner and gave up the lead.
3rd Kyle Busch lead 18 laps his car was solid all day long

5th Bell won the pole, lead 37 laps, had a really good car all day, just struggled on some restarts
6th Truex lead no laps but had a solid top 5 car all day long
7th Ross Chastain lead 4 laps

Suarez was having a nice run the tires got him, and then the tow truck did some damage to his car, he finished 11 laps down in 33rd
Last place: BJ McLeod’s day ended early after an incident on lap 34 that left his roof hatch open, something I’ve never seen in a race, and I wish I could say was the craziest thing that happened on Sunday.

Denny had a good day on Sunday, but during the race Chris Gabehart his crew chief said to pay attention to his race, not what 23XI is doing, is that all we need to confirm that ownership might be affecting his performance?
We saw a lot of tire issues, Goodyear has recommended air pressure and if you go lower than that it creates weakness in the sidewall. Are teams flying too close to the sun, and is the risk worth it at this point?

Kyle Busch lead the last 10 yards of so, Tyler Reddick 99 laps lead, Larson 27, Suarez 64, Briscoe 59
1st Kyle Busch had a solid 5th place car all night, finishing 5th in both stages and running 3rd before the wreck leading him to the win.
2nd Reddick ran solid in the top 15/10 for most of the day, not pitting after the stage break put him in 4th and position to capitalize on his speed and get out to the lead
3rd Joey Logano had a solid top ten car all night, finishing top 3
4th Larson looked good all night, wining stage 1 but I felt he was sitting around 5th for most of the night
5th Blaney finished both stages in 9th, ran around tenth all night long, but staying out helped keep him up front
6th Alex Bowman had himself an up and down day spinning and getting caught up in the back, he rallied back in the 3rd stage for a 6th place finish
7th Bell had a better night than his finish, I feel like he was in the top 5 and a real contender for most of the night
8th Chase Elliott had an interesting night, no stage points in 1, 4th in stage 2. Had a dust up with Cody Ware
9th Michael McDowell floated around 10th to 15th all night, just a solid night for them even gaining stage points in the second stage
10th Ty Dillon looked great in stage 1 until getting shuffled to the back, but he made up some hay for a
Chase Briscoe I felt had the best car all night, until the last corner contact resulted in a 22nd place finish

Chase salvaged a nice 4th place finish, after having some issues throughout the race including some lost positions on pit road and contact with Kyle Busch
Kyle Busch just got run over a few times throughout the day. It looked like he would have a good finish until last lap when he lost control and spun out.
Aj Allmendinger finished 33rd after getting stuck in the gravel on the last lap.
Christopher Bell salvaged a great top 5 after being a non factor and a rough day including a loss of power steering, being one lap down, and narrowly avoiding a spinning Austin Cindric
Austin Cindric with a top ten after a mid race spin would put him off the pace.
Bowman had a great run at the end, solid top ten all day long, and made the best of the day.
Erik Jones, another nice top ten finish after a rough day. Looked great for most of the day until he lost power putting him a lap down. Just a great effort.

Chase Briscoe making a childhood dream come true, bringing the 14 car back to victory lane for his first Cup Series win! This week on the Bump N' Run Podcast veteran radio host Michael D. Chase Briscoe held off some hungry drivers also looking for their first cup wins after a late race restart!
2nd Chastain – the second week in a row I thought Ross could win, just another solid performance, the win
is coming. No laps lead like last week, but the speed was there to do it, just didn’t have the opportunity
to take the lead on a restart.
3rd Reddick – not the best qualifying, but he had solid lap averages in practice, had some issues on pit
road late, but came back to battle at the end. He floated around 5-8 th all day long gaining stage points
along the way.
4th Blaney – Started on the pole, had a pretty solid day throughout leading 5 times for 143 laps, I thought
he was the clear favorite to win early on in the day.
5th Kurt Busch - I feel like he was floating around 17 th -18 th all day, honestly not sure where he came from.
6th Harvick – Solid day, I had him in my fantasy lineup since Wednesday, practice and qualifying went well,
I was confident in Harvick this week and he performed for sure, 6 th place but he had a top 3 car in my
opinion. Gained stage points in both stages’ great day for Kevin.
7th Kyle Busch – Started 11 th finished 7 th , just a solid finish from Kyle while some of his teammates
struggled yet again. For a while I didn’t think he would crack the top 10, he gained no stage points
yesterday.
8th Logano – He only led once for 4 laps but he was in the higher half of the top ten for both stage ends,
just a solid top ten car all day.
9th Suarez - punted AD3 who was having a good day running just in the top ten for both stage ends,
Suarez did what he had to do for 9 th .
10th Buscher – Snuck a top ten while his teammate and owner struggled all day long.
Larson looked great all day until the third stage when he blew the engine, a rare Hendrick engine failure
sent him to the garage early.

In an exciting overtime, Alex Bowman would hold off his teammate Kyle Larson after a late race caution put them on two tires, while Kyle Busch who was leading the race would take four putting him behind on pit road. The rest of the top ten as follows!
-3rd Ross Chastain who lead 83 laps on Sunday just came up short in the end.
-4th Kyle Busch was leading when the late race caution came out, he took four tires and got beat on pit road.
-5th William Byron only lead 8 laps, but he was consistently in the top ten all day long.
-6th Aric Almirola with his third top ten of the season. No laps lead but consistent for most of the day.
-7th Reddick qualified 7th, went to the back for an unapproved adjustment, made up some ground and then spun out, went back to the back of the pack again and then worked himself up to finish 7th.
-8th Martin Truex Jr looked like he could catch Kyle Busch near the end, his second place finish fell apart after that late race restart.
-9th Chase had an up and down day, but still an improvement of luck over last week, the late race restart helped their short run car salvage a top 10.
-10th Bell lead some laps early on after winning his first Busch Pole Award, had a great day compared to last week.

The 2022 NASCAR season is officially under way, and things were heating up in Southern California for the Wise Power 400 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana! This week on the Bump N' Run Podcast veteran radio host Michael D. White, Daytona Ron, and Matt "The Stat Man" Reilly talk about the latest news including the postponement of the short track reconfiguration of Auto Club Speedway.
It was an exciting day in Fontana for the Wise Power 400. Tyler Reddick and Erik Jones put on a show for the first two stages, swapping for the lead until tire issues and William Byron took out Tyler Reddick.
In the end Young Money Kyle Larson would bring home the victory, trophy, and the check! It's a good think too because this week we're heading to Vegas!
Austin Dillon had a rough start but pulled things together for a great run at the end for a 2 nd place finish.
Erik Jones with a 3rd place finish, swapped the lead with Reddick several times, just a great battle all day
long.
Daniel Suarez didn’t have the best car yesterday, but he put himself into position at the end for a 4th
place finish.
Joey Logano coming from the back for a 5th place finish
Aric Almirloa had a solid day with a 6th place finish
Kevin Harvick had a rough weekend, first lap of practice he cracked up the car, they got it fixed and he
massaged his way up to a well-deserved 7th place finish.
Kurt Busch started the race in the rear and a lap down from a pass through penalty for failing inspection
3 times and still put up an 8th place finish. He passed 133 cars yesterday.
Tyler Reddick led 90 of 200 laps with a numb left leg, an eventual cut tire and contact with William
Byron had him finish a lap down. That pit crew was on fire yesterday, I don’t think they lost a race off pit
road until the 8 cut a tire.

It's officially season two of the Bump N' Run Podcast! This week veteran radio host Michael D. White, Matt ‘The Stat Man’ Reilly, and Daytona Ron discuss the latest NASCAR news and our thoughts on the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum.
It was an action packed weekend of racing inside of LA's historic Coliseum, and tempers flared during the six qualifying heat races leading up to an exciting 150 lap shoot out in the main event! Joey Logano would take home the trophy after passing Kyle Busch for the lead, early on Tyler Reddick lead one third of the race before mechanical issues took Denny Hamlin, Chase Brisco, and himself out of the race. Tempers flared between defending NASCAR Champion Kyle Larson, and rookie Justin Haley. Erik Jones and Ryan Blaney traded paint resulting in some hurt feelings, and that's just the on track action!
Off track we saw Pitbull and Ice Cube perform at the star studded NASCAR event, and we break it all down!

With a repeat of last week in Texas we saw Kyle Larson dominate the field and take away another playoff driver's chances to lock themselves into the Championship Four! We saw multiple playoff drivers have issues, from Brad Keselowski going two laps down due to a poorly timed caution, to Ryan Blaney wrecking out, to Kyle Busch finishing multiple laps down after multiple encounters with the wall.
It was a light NASCAR news week, a few younger drivers locked in rides for next year, and some more Next Gen testing this week.
We remember Ricky Hendrick this week in NASCAR history.

This week veteran radio host Michael D. White, Matt ‘The Stat Man’ Reilly, and Daytona Ron discuss this last weekend's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway!
It was a typical Texas race, 500 miles in the heat, and things sure did heat up in the final stage of the race. Kyle Larson had a dominant car all day long, something we have come to expect especially and mile and a half raceways, and Sunday was no different. Larson did however have Tyler Reddick and William Byron nipping at his heels during late race restarts. In the end Larson got his 8th win of the season. While Larson dominated the day, some other NASCAR Playoff drivers found themselves in less than ideal positions throughout the day.
This week in news we cover Next Gen testing, Kurt Busch's charter challenges, Elliott and Harvick called to the virtual hauler, the 2023 schedule, and Tony Stewart running an NHRA drag racing team.
Also NASCAR history took us back to Kansas 2007 with some questionable calls for weather, and a controversial finish under yellow.
