In this message, Tim talks about the difference between praise & worship.
We've left in the prophetic ministry & words at the start of the message.
We trust you'll be blessed!
A message by Ty Stevenson.
Matt Lansdowne recently prophesied that God is calling us ‘higher’ as a church, to position us even more so as a periscope or crows nest for sight and perspective for the body of Christ. So how do we practically move higher and experience this ‘higher’ perspective for our own lives first?
In this message, Ty presents the idea that God has us all on a unique, leadership developmental timeline and at the heart of our ‘calling’ or destiny is not simply doing a task or role, but being your life message through that task. These life messages are formed through painful seasons where we have met God in our pain and walked through it with him. Transforming who we are as we now embody part of God’s heart and nature. We now know him as healer / redeemer / comforter / provider etc. This is where powerful authentic ministry flows from.
See what this looked like for Joseph and Jesus as they each navigated the process of trusting God’s timing for their lives.
What is my life message you might ask? Here are a couple of questions to start exploring this journey:
What have been some key shaping events in my life?
Who has God revealed himself to be during these times?
If you are currently in a season of struggle, believe with me, these words that God has been speaking and fulfilling:
“I AM BREAKING THROUGH AND MAKING ALL THINGS NEW”
The core of this message is to always journey with Jesus. Remembering that any ‘right’ decision or positive change that makes us less dependant on Jesus is a failure, but every mess, mistake or failure that causes us to get closer to Jesus actually becomes a success.
A message by Tim Stevenson (Apologies there are a few audio glitches in this recording)
The four deepest questions in our hearts are those of Origins (Where did I come from?), Identity (Who am I?), Purpose (Why am I here?), and Destiny (Where will I end up?). On my own journey I had almost all of these wrong, resulting in me not really knowing my purpose. If we are to become a people of influence we need a good understanding of these crucial question. How often do we find ourselves in a place we don’t want to be? How often do we get comfortable with the status quo? What factors cause us to camp and not move on? Here are some keys to breaking camp and stepping out into more of our inheritance.
This is our New Year message that we pray brings courage & hope to your heart for a very bright 2021
There are three broad categories of Gifts - Ministry Gifts (Eph 4:11), Motivational Gifts (Rom 12:6-8) and Manifestational Gifts (1 Cor 12:8-10). We are all anointed and have at least one gift to impart, both in church gatherings and out in the market place. None of the gifts are beyond our ability, usually just beyond our desire. Charismatic Churches should be characterised by the gifts (charisma) of the Holy Spirit.
Nothing shifts an atmosphere more than praise. Praise causes the Kingdom of Heaven to manifest creating a realm where supernatural intervention becomes normal. Light replaces darkness, healing replaces disease and chains are broken. God is restoring vibrant praise so the Lion of the Tribe of Judah can roar in our midst.
A message by Tim Stevenson
A message by Tim Stevenson. What is the heart of the Kingdom message? Jesus did not come primarily on a rescue mission to take us all to Heaven, but on a restoration mission to bring all of Heaven to Earth.
A message by Tyrone Stevenson
Imagine looking back on your life and seeing the incredible thread of God working through every single detail. To see the point of every struggle and difficult time and how God was able to use those seasons to positively shape you into the incredible person He designed you to be, long before you were born.
This joyful perspective is fuelled by deep trust and belief that God wastes nothing and He gets us ready. Ready to rule and reign with Him in this life and eternity. Whenever life feels like it is resisting you or that you're walking through a lonely wilderness, rest assured that God has a plan to walk with you, the whole way through it.
Romans 8 says that God is able to work all things for our good if we do three things. 1 - Know God is in it and believe that He wants to leverage everything to our benefit and growth. 2 - Connect to His purposes for our life and 3 - Love Him, which means laying our lives down to love and serve those He is calling us to.
A message by Faith Tudor
Where does your confidence come from? And what role does it play in stretching your faith for more?
The promises of glory in the New Covenant way exceed the promises of the old. Yet we often find ourselves looking back at the great manifestations of glory in the Old Testament and wonder why we don’t see more in the new. This message is about the keys to accessing the more in the New Covenant.

In this heart touching message, Tracy shares her stories about the LAYERS OF LIFE & Responding to pain
We can’t afford the luxury of allowing negative thoughts to run rampant throughout our thinking. We have to take those thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ. If we don’t, strongholds will form and will eventually begin to shape who we are.
If we have no debt, we are giving generously, we are saving regularly, we are living within our income, and we are placing our trust in God, then we will experience financial prosperity.
Five steps to FINANCIAL FREEDOM
1. Get a complete, realistic picture of our financial situation.
2. Reduce and eliminate all of our debt.
3. Set aside money in a savings account for emergencies and major purchasers.
4. Live within our income.
5. Develop a Biblical perspective – Phil 4:11.
Where we are right now is the product of the decisions we have made in our lives. There will be times when we have to make big choices - how do we know they are right? How does Scripture guide us in making these important decisions?
Kat shares a message on God’s call to the church to assemble. Every person who is part of the body is significant and critical!
There is incredible power in Oneness. The church needs to harness the blessings of unity to enjoy this, while not causing any blockage that results in lost favour over a community.
If we would pursue love for one another through honour, refrain from gossip, not carry offences and execute judgments, and instead pursue oneness (Presence Unity), then we would create a contagious atmosphere that would be irresistible to Heaven and to those who don’t know Jesus.
A message by Tim Stevenson
Jesus didn’t say offences ‘may come,’ but that it was inevitable they ‘must come.’ So how do we respond when we are offended?

The Sevenfold Holy Spirit. Just as God the Father is described as El Shaddai, a multi-faceted God, so the Holy Spirit is a multi-faceted Holy Spirit.
In this message, Xenia Stevenson shares about impacting the world.
Jesus modelled heaven to earth in every situation he faced. What if we had the answers to every problem on earth? We can do as he did and serve the world with the love of God, through the Spirit of Wisdom and Power.
We should all have a desire to walk in an awareness of our Father and Heaven 24/7. There are no barriers to pursuing a deep and meaningful relationship with all three members of the Godhead - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Our ultimate goal should be friendship with God.
A Message by Tim Stevenson
The Bible is not just a historical document of what God has done, but a divine invitation to encounter what God’s people have experienced. A message by Tim Stevenson
Have you ever struggled to hear God’s voice? In this message you will find practical ways to live a life full of answered prayer.
"The Holy Spirit is not a substance, a mist, a set of rules or principals. The Holy Spirit is a person who wants to interact with us and be involved in our lives!!"
Many of us want to see more miracles happen through us as we partner with God in bringing heaven to earth, and for that to happen we need a greater level of confidence and boldness to put ourselves into position where God is our only option.
I believe this boldness is fuelled by an intimate connection God. ..."Those who know their God will be strong and do great exploits!! - Daniel 11:32
It is easy to live our walk off the corporate anointing of the church, but we need to prioritise digging our own well. It is in the secret place that we really connect with God one-on-one and hear His voice.

Exploring the “Who”, “How”, “Where” and “When” of the Harvest field God has for each of us.
A message by Tracy Swift
In the natural when we are sick the first thing we lose is our hunger. It is no different in the spiritual. Spiritual hunger is a sign of a healthy believer. We should always be hungry for more!
The Kingdom runs on revelation which is fueled by intimacy. The Father has secrets and mysteries to reveal to us, and He doesn’t hide them from us, but for us.
We are called to be Sons of Light who radiate the essence of Christ and His Kingdom wherever we go. This message contains the keys to radiating light and dispelling darkness.
A message by Tim Stevenson
Is it possible that there's a dam holding God back?
We’ve received so many great words of a wave of the move of God that’s coming and latest from Michael Brodeur to prepare the way of the Lord.
John the Baptist shows us how to do that when he said ‘Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand’. Repenting is not just about being sorry it’s about making 180 degrees turn away from wrong beliefs.
Kat exhorts us to repent from beliefs that keep us in an orphan position, and into enjoying a position of sonship because God wants to pour his spirit out on sons. God wants to grow His family and multiple sons ‘For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God’ Romans 8:19.
A key to being supernatural is to understand the Kingdom journey. We enter the Kingdom, the Kingdom enters us, the Kingdom grows in us, the Kingdom starts to be released from us, then finally the Kingdom brings transformation around us. A message by Tim Stevenson
A message by David Hogan. This message was shared 22 May 2019 at Horizon Church, Auckland
A Message by Tim Stevenson. In Jn 14:12 Jesus said, "If you believe, not only will you do the works that I have been doing, but even greater works, because I am going to the Father.” God is wanting to raise up a ‘Greater Works’ generation in this hour. Jesus modelled what was possible for every son to do. He did not come as a ceiling to limit us, but as a foundation upon which we can build. As the Father sent Jesus, so is He sending us - Jn 20:21.
How supernatural is your Jesus? Besides the obvious miracles things He did - heal he sick, raise the dead, multiply food etc., he also did some other spectacular things. He walked on water, disappeared when attacked, walked through walls and changed His appearance. How did He do these things? Did others in the New Testament do them too?
It is time to believe for more!! God has spoken clearly to us about intentionally stepping into a season of manifestation. What does this mean for us? It means the Promises that God has spoken over our lives are coming true but not all by themselves. They still require our agreement and action! It is time to dream bigger than ever before and take action steps towards those dreams!!
Steve Backlund said, "The number one thing blocking what God wants to do in the world is the bad beliefs of Christians”. Therefore it’s up to us to aggressively go after refreshing our thought life towards what we believe is possible, and start believing that we truly do "have a delightful inheritance!!" - Psalm 16:6

The Gospel of salvation is a reduced gospel which only emphasis escaping hell and going to Heaven. The Kingdom Gospel is the bigger picture and focuses more on the restoration of God’s original plan for man. Jesus came as last Adam to put us back in the place where first Adam was before he fell.
The heart of the Gospel is love and how is it communicated should always be Good News. Jesus emphasised being drawn by the benefits of Heaven more than being driven by the consequences of hell.
One of the main reasons why the supernatural does not manifest is because the church has traditionally been built upon the wrong foundation - pastors instead of the apostles and prophets.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is both communication and demonstration, and is authenticated by signs, wonders and miracles. ‘Teaching’ in Hebrew culture is not just ‘lecturing' like we in the West understand, but demonstrating.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is both communication and demonstration, and is authenticated by signs, wonders and miracles. ‘Teaching’ in Hebrew culture is not just ‘lecturing' like we in the West understand, but demonstrating.
The redemptive work of the cross is for the whole person - spirit, soul and body. Scripture values ‘inner’ healing as much as ‘outer’ healing.
Culture of honour part 2 // Calling out the gold. It says in Proverbs that the house of the righteous contains great treasure. We are that treasure! In a culture of honour we as sons and daughters are to seek that treasure and call out the gold.
Honour is a vital key to creating a Kingdom Culture. It is the atmosphere in which God’s sons and daughters become their best. The heart of honour is celebrating who a person is rather than who someone is not. Looking for the gold!

The main reason we need to be born again is not just to go to Heaven, but to be spiritually activated so we can engage the King and His Kingdom and encounter Him.

One of the hardest things to do is to choose to honour when its inconvenient to do so.The story of Noah becoming drunk and exposed paints a perfect picture of The Father's heart against shame . In this generation, learning how to honour with intent is the way towards true revival. His kingdom come and will be done.(But only through people we choose to honour) Honour
The Kingdom is Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Joy is vital in the Kingdom! We are told in the Word to be joyful always. Joyful people are far more healthier and live much longer. Don’t let the devil steal your joy!
Transition is always a process, but does not last forever! Sometimes in transition we may feel our destinies are delayed, but once we come through it becomes time to believe again for all the prophetic promises that have been spoken over us. This is our season to manifest.

Do you believe you hear God’s voice clearly? He wants to satisfy our deepest needs and desires through a relationship with Him.
In this message, you will find practical ways to transform your devotional life so that you can truly experience streams of living water flowing from within you.

We are all anointed! The anointing is the Holy Spirit resting on us and flowing through us. The anointing is what breaks the yoke and brings the breakthrough.
What things do you have to push past, to do what Gods put inside of you? Fear, powerless beliefs, comfort? The power of our present circumstances is to release more of God in our lives. We want to grow in courage to believe Him for those desires he has put in us. To do this we’ll need to feast on the Bread of Life daily. Then our lives will be fresh bread to give away. A message by Xenia Stevenson
(APOLOGIES FOR THE POOR AUDIO QUALITY) From the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom has been advancing. Jesus planted the seed of the Kingdom at His first coming and will reap the harvest of the Kingdom at His second coming. The kingdom is continually advancing and expanding and will do so until the glory of the Lord covers the Earth as the waters cover the sea.
The Glory of God is mentioned about 300 times making it one of the dominant themes of the Bible. God’s original intention for us was to live in the glory - the very atmosphere of Heaven here on Earth. A message by Tim Stevenson
In this message, Matt Lansdown from Bethel Church Whangarei shares an invitation to go a little deeper with God. You never know what's just around the corner ;)
When evangelism is mentioned most believers shrink back. But it should never bring fear but joy - because we have been given the Holy Spirit to empower us! Evangelism in the Kingdom becomes a fun-filled adventure when we are filled with the Holy Spirit.
Everyone one of us has been given a field to influence. Our role as ambassadors in the Kingdom is to bring Heaven to that sphere. The key is to see yourself planted as a seed in that field.
The Kingdom is largely about influence - we are all called to be sons and daughters of influence. Church people worry that the world might influence the church; Kingdom people work to see the church influence the world.
Greatness is a potential on the inside of everyone. To realise it you have to choose greatness and show up. But show up as you because what you need is inside of who YOU are.
People often ask the wrong question: “Why did God have to put the serpent in the garden?” God did not put the serpent in the garden to tempt mankind. God put the garden on the planet which was already the serpent’s domain then put mankind in the garden so mankind could expand the garden so the serpent would have no place to dwell on the planet.
The four deepest questions of the human heart are those of origins, identity, purpose and destiny. Where did I come from? Who am I? Why am I here? What happens to me when I die? The focus of this message is why I am here - my purpose on earth.

Love can mean many different things to us based on our history. Love is a commitment, an action and a result. 1 John 4:19 says that “We love because He first loved us”. It is essential for us to each have an encounter with God's Love that redefines our identity as dearly loved children in His family. When our hearts are overflowing with His love it forever changes the way we show love to those around us. God’s love for us is unconditional and it is the benchmark for us to grow into, and in doing so, “will prove to the world that we are His disciples” (John 13:35). Will we learn to love? By Tyrone Stevenson
Everything that starts in Heaven must finish on earth! God speaks to us from the perspective of seeing a finished product even though we are still very much in the process. From his point of view, we are flawless and complete however in contrast God is constantly at work in us to bring us into full awareness of who we really are in Christ. Jesus' full identity wasn't manifested until he finished on earth the original work started in Heaven! Likewise, God has a blueprint for your life that can only be unlocked as you become aware of your heavenly origins. A message by Myron Turner
God is bringing His church back to the pattern of family. A Biblical family is three generations - grandparents, parents, and children. Every aspect of church life has to reflect family - how we relate to each other, leadership, ministry, serving etc. We are born with a need to belong and our destiny is always interwoven with our community.
Jacob had life defining encounters that changed by him as well as the world. What were some of Heaven’s ways he aligned with that positioned him for these encounters? Andy shares about this and how we can apply this into our lives.
Andy is the senior leader of Bethel Church Whangerei
God’s methodology for redemption has always been family. The Father sent the Son, the Son sent the Holy Spirit. God designed us with a community in mind. We all need people around us to fulfil our destiny. Even though Adam had an intimate relationship with God He still told him it was not good for him to be alone. He needed a family to fulfil his dominion mandate.
God is calling us all to a higher awareness of what is being made available for us as sons and daughters to walk in. One of them is our access to experience His glory. We have to move from an expectation of ‘only during our worship on Sunday’ to walking in the glory.
A message by Tim Stevenson
The reason why it is so important to come into sonship is that it is ultimately our identity that gives us authority. What gave Jesus authority over God’s house was his identity as a son - Heb 3:6. When Jesus was challenged in the wilderness by Satan it was His identity as a son that he came after. When we know who we are we challenge the powers of darkness and extend the Kingdom! A message by Tim Stevenson.
Are we living with a performance mindset or an identity mindset? This is one of the big shifts we have made at Horizon - from performance-based values to identity-based values. When we live with a performance mindset our value is based on what we do so what we do determines who we are. However, when we live with an identity mindset, our value is based on who we are so who we are ends up determining what we do.
A message by Tim Stevenson. Because we are a sons and daughters, we are much-loved children of God, placed in His family and a brother of Jesus. We are no longer a slaves or orphans, all fear is therefore broken off. Now we have constant access to the Father, an inheritance, we are filled with glory and joy and have been set free.
In this Message, Tim Stevenson chats about how we're all on a journey to know who God really is. While we can think we know someone by what others tell us about them, it is only when we spend quality one-on-one time with them that we truly really get to know them. This is the same with God. We all need quality time with Him to truly get to know Him. We can’t live off other people’s revelation of who He is, we need own revelation. This comes from the secret place.
Sometimes life can bring delays and distractions so how do you maintain the faith to lay hold of all that God has promised. This looks at the life of Caleb who faced some serious delays and distractions but he still showed up, as strong as when he first received the promise, and laid hold of all that God promised! A message by Kat Kaho
In the message Tim Stevenson explores the first key element of the Gospel of the Kingdom: Intimacy or our relationship with the Father
When people think of the Gospel they often default to the Gospel of Salvation - Jesus came to Earth to die on a cross to take us all to Heaven. While there is truth in this, this is not the full truth. The Gospel of the Kingdom is what Jesus preached - this is the bigger picture of why He came to Earth. Not on a rescue mission but on a restoration mission. Not primarily to take us to Heaven but to bring Heaven to Earth. - TIM STEVENSON

In this message Tyrone Stevenson talks about how "Romans 8 tells us we have received the Spirit of Sonship and we are God’s children and even co-heirs with Christ. So what does it look like to live as a son or daughter of God? Connected with Him and His body, the church. Following Jesus and leading others into all He has shown us. I believe that the quality of our leadership is determined by the quality of our connection to God and to those He has anointed to lead us. What does it practically look like then to humbly summit our lives to one another and give space for people to give us feedback and actually disciple us? "
