Phil O’Brien is a fellow Liverpudlian and former press photographer and entrepreneur who landed on the west side of Manhattan in 2012. I was immediately drawn to Mia Wright-Ross' amazing product line - an intrinsic collection of handcrafted Leather Lifestyle Accessories. It was clear to me that this lady was going places and my feelings were confirmed when I heard she had won a fellowship from the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City which now houses her studio.

Patricia Wind and her partner saw the gap and created a valuable and much needed platform to connect farmers to wholesale, restaurants, and corporate events in and around New York state. Mr Ed-161 was one of the early graffiti writers and formed one of the first group of writers/taggers in NYC called The Ebony Dukes. I believe this movement to be an integral part of our art, social, and political history. It’s not just graffiti, writing or drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall in a public place but it’s about people, their need to be heard, and seen!
