Mr Ed-161 was one of the early graffiti writers and formed one of the first group of writers/taggers in NYC called The Ebony Dukes. I believe this movement to be an integral part of our art, social, and political history. It’s not just graffiti, writing or drawings scribbled, scratched, or sprayed illicitly on a wall in a public place but it’s about people, their need to be heard, and seen!
