I will be covering the TV show The Frankenstein Chronicles! This first mini episode covers the first 3 episodes of the tv show.

The show itself is 12 episodes long. I will be releasing 4 shorter episodes where I give a brief overview of the plot, each of these covering three episodes of the show a piece, and some early thoughts and some minor historical context. These first 4 episodes are being recorded as I watch the show, so you will see my opinions and thoughts shift as I am watching.

Then I will be releasing a fifth episode where I will do a much fuller analysis of the overall show itself, the writing, use of the source material and the use of the historical setting (this being 1830's London).

Content warnings -
child death
child mutilation
harmful views on sex work
rape
racist coding

Hello all!

In this episode I discuss the 1931, James Whale Directed Frankenstein. I delve into why I love this movie but why it's legacy as the definitive adaptation is still harmful to this day.
