Often in life, what we know in our mind and what we feel in our hearts are not aligned. In part 6 of The Cure, we get to see God’s path to the Room of Grace from the pages of scripture in such a way that our minds can be put to rest and allow our hearts to rejoice in the opportunity we are given as Christians to experience a new identity and then mature into it. If you ever feel like you still have to work so hard to feel good enough for God, this message is for you. Whether you are a new Christian or a seasoned saint, we are all susceptible to the subtle whispers of the enemy who keeps us trying to earn what was given to us as a gift. Let this message be a gift to move you from striving to thriving in your journey with God.

What happens between Sundays?
Did God design the church to be more than a Sunday expression?
The word Church (ecclesia) means called out ones.
- Called out TO operate by His authority and anointing.
- Called out TO operate by His presence and power.
- Called out TO reclaim God’s dominion through man.
- Called out TO legislate as God’s representative.
- Called out TO Advance Heaven.
- Called out TO Stop Hell.
This message is about what God’s been saying to me lately about His
vision for One City Church. In this message we look at Luke 5:1-11 where
God calls Peter, James, and John to be fishers of men. From this passage,
we look at the backstory of One City Church, where we are today, and
where we are going in the future.
Tune into this message and see the parallels between our personal calling
to God and our corporate mission together. Lastly in this message, we’ll
briefly see how Jesus recreates the situation in John 21 to restore Peter
after his three denials.
Regardless of your journey, I’m confident all of us need to experience some
type of restoration. Stay to the very end and you’ll have the opportunity to
experience restoration on a very personal level.

What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus?

In first century Israel, you would regularly see rabbis walking along the road or teaching at your local synagogue. They were revered teachers, not just of the Torah, but of life. Behind the rabbi would be a group of students, called talmidim. This word literally means Student, Disciple, Learner, or Follower. Many scholars argue the best word for disciple in the English language is apprentice.

The goal wasn’t to learn about something, but to become someone.

This message looks at our unhealthy and healthy responses to pain and suffering. It’s important for us to realize that we can’t live well enough to avoid all pain and suffering in this world. In fact, Jesus says in John 16:33, “In this world you will have tribulation (trouble).” That’s not comforting.

Well, I’ve got good news, that’s only half of the verse. The second half of John 16:33 says, “But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

In this message, we’re going to talk about ways to face our pain instead of stuffing it. When you stuff it, you are creating a volcano. Since pain is inevitable; it is essential for us to learn how to deal with our pain and suffering in healthy ways instead of unhealthy ways.

Here’s the bottom line: Pain always points!

What is your pain pointing to? It’s time to go beyond the symptom to the core issue. It’s time for us to do more than cope; it is time for us to heal.

Do you want to heal? Tune into the message and the choise to heal.

In this message, we talk about looking at the seasons of your life like The
Dow Jones Index. What have been the highs and lows of your life. The goal
is for the investments of our life to produce higher highs and higher lows.
What types of investments will yield that return?
What types of habits will produce higher highs and higher lows?
In many respects, these habits are the secret to unlocking health and
holiness for your home. We’ll give a preview of nine habits to help you grow
in your relationships with Jesus and others.

  • Sabbath, Scripture, Prayer, Fasting, Solitude
  • Community (Friendship), Service, Witness, Generosity

Most people have reduced these habits down to a casual commitment to
attend church. Attending church is the starting point, but it isn’t enough to
grow us.
Ultimately, every relationship is nurtured and sustained by healthy habits.
Tune into this message and learn to embrace holy habits. It is a no regret
decision.

Behind the rabbi would be a group of students, called talmidim. This word literally means Student, Disciple, Learner, or Follower. The goal wasn’t to learn about something, but to become someone. Unfortunately, most of the formation in our life is unintentional. There are six primary forces that act upon our formation positively and negatively.
- Our Relationships
- Our Environments
- Our Stories
- Our Habits
- Our Experience
- The Passage of Time

It’s time for us to transition from unintentional formation to intentional formation. These many ways to influence our formation, but nothing influences us more than three driving goals: Be with Jesus, Become like Jesus, and Do what He did. It’s our responsibility to turn these goals into habits. We can’t have a holy life without holy habits. At the end of the day, we’re only as healthy as our habits. This message ends with the following evaluation questions:
- WHO am I BECOMING?
- Do you LIKE who you are BECOMING?
- WHAT will improve WHO you are the most?
- WHAT will improve YOUR TRAJECTORY the MOST?

Kids started at 5 years old at Bet Sefer or The House of the Book. The primary textbook was the Bible. It was an oral culture. By 12 or 13, most students have memorized the Torah.

At that point, most students went home to apprentice in family business or work the family farm; but the best of the best would to a second level of education. It was called Bet Midrash, The House of Learning. By 17 years of age, they would have memorized the Old Testament.

At this point, the vast majority were done. But the best of the best of the best would apprentice under a rabbi.

One’s entire life was organized around three driving goals:
To be WITH your rabbi (Jesus).
To become LIKE your rabbi (Jesus).
To DO as your rabbi (Jesus) did.

These three goals should drive our life today and everyday.

In this third and final week of Peace Beyond Christmas: A Priority Time Series, Karin Conlee
wraps up this series with an important finale. Finding peace beyond Christmas starts with
allowing your heart to attach to God each day, both before and after Christmas. It is often very
practical things that prevent people from growing in their relationship with the Lord. Where do I
start in the Bible? How long should my Priority Time be? What if I don’t understand everything I
read? Karin addresses common barriers and misunderstandings about spending time in the
Word and in prayer, and then uses Matthew 1:22-25 to help every believer see how a few
simple tools can turn familiar passages we often read without expecting real-time application
into meaningful moments with the Lord and into application for our lives today.

In part 2 of Peace Beyond Christmas: A Priority Time Series, Karin Conlee uses the Christmas
account found in Matthew 1:18-22 to both bring the Christmas story to light and to show how the
four ingredients of a Priority Time provide some simple best practices that take your time in the
word from an academic exercise to a personal encounter with the Lord. God does not provide
the inspired word of God to simply increase our Bible IQ, but as a love letter to His children. As
Karin unpacks the “How” of a Priority Time and its benefits, the ancient account of Joseph
becomes a relevant passage for each of us to personally apply to our own lives.

So often in church, we are told to read the Bible and pray without any guidance. A Priority Time,
a daily, unhurried time to get to know God through the Bible and prayer, is a simple yet powerful
approach that will help every believer grow in their connection to the Lord.

Want to try using the tools in your own Priority Time? Don’t miss the 10 Day Christmas Priority
Time Plan at karinconlee.com so you can try it for yourself. This 10-day resource will help you

In Peace Beyond Christmas: A Priority Time Series, prepare for a one-two punch. The
Christmas season is often so full of activities to celebrate with friends and family that we neglect
the very relationship we are celebrating. We arrive at Christmas morning more disconnected
from Christ than we want to admit. In Peace Beyond Christmas, Karin Conlee will take biblical
accounts of the Christmas story and the tools of a Priority Time to model what it looks like to
spend time in the Bible and prayer in a way that allows us to see how God wants to apply the
timeless truths of the nativity scene in a very relevant way to each believer’s life.

So often in church, we are told to read the Bible and pray without any guidance. A Priority Time,
a daily, unhurried time to get to know God through the Bible and prayer, is a simple yet powerful
approach that will help every believer grow in their connection to the Lord. In this first message
of the series, Karin confronts the most important question and provides a very unexpected
answer to “Why should you have a Priority Time?”

The truths of this message resonated so deeply with the Conlees nearly 30 years ago that they
have continued to fuel their personal time with the Lord ever since. Prayerfully, it will have just
as lasting an impact on each listener.

We live into the identity we behold. That’s the central truth explored in this message, which looks at God not only as Creator—but as Artist. From the very beginning, God created mankind in His image, and He continues to shape and reveal that image in us today. Just as a great portrait captures more than a likeness—it reflects soul, story, and destiny—so too, God's Word and presence are like a mirror that shows us the best of who we are becoming. In contrast to the false mirrors of shame, inferiority, or regret, this message explores how Jesus is the perfect portrait: both aspirational and relatable, reflecting the fullness of God and the redemption of our truest selves. When we allow God to show us who we really are, it transforms how we live, love, and serve.

Revival has many definitions, but there’s only one that we’re prioritizing for this series. Revival is hosting the presence of God. This series will define all that’s wrapped up in that statement.

Hosting the presence of God is much more than intellectual statement. It begins with an encounter with God, grows into a relationship, and remains unwavering through the highs and lows of life.

Hosting the presence of God requires all of us. It is a “no holding back” relationship with Jesus. It’s so much more than being a good church person; it moves pass casual and convenient to committed and courageous.

The fifth message in this series is all about the “see it, say it” principle. This doesn’t mean you say whatever you want to say and see it come into reality. However, it does mean God wants us to see what He sees. When we see what He sees, everything changes

When God reveals Himself, He also reveals what He is doing. It is our privilege and responsibility to follow Him and join Him in what He is already doing. God is always inviting us to join Him in what He is doing. Unfortunately, most of us want to invite God to join us in what we are doing. There’s a major difference between the two.

Here's the bottom line of the message; I’ll trust it will make you want to learn more and tune into the whole message. You must say what God sees in order to see what God said. Don’t run that by too quickly. Go back and read it again, then listen to the message and start saying what you see.

This fourth message in this series addresses the issues that block worship in our lives. Worship begins and ends with your relationship with God; yet our relationship with others can interfere or even block our relationship with God. This message looks at the story of David’s wife, Michal, from 2 Samuel 6:16-23.

David is returning to the city of God with Ark of God, yet the scripture says Michal despised David in her heart. That’s just the beginning of the hurt feelings and harsh words in this story.

Michal had many legitimate reasons to be hurt, but she chooses her hurt over her healing. Ultimately, all of us have a choice. Hurt is normal in a fallen and broken world, but don’t let your hurt cause you to miss the Healer.

Are you going to run TO God or FROM God in your hurt? When we worship through our hurt, worship of the Healer releases healing. If you wait on perfect circumstances to worship; you’ll never worship.

Tune into this message and learn how to host the presence of God in your life, in your family, and in our church. This message isn’t about hosting revival in the future; it is about hosting revival today.

James 4:3 says, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly (with wrong motives), to spend it on your passions.” If one can ask wrongly, how does one ask rightly? Again, it goes back to this truth; prayer is a relationship, not a transaction. We ask correctly when we ask from the context of being the Father’s son or daughter. Ultimately, pray is listening to God and responding.

When comes to prayer, the book of James tells us there’s much we can learn from Elijah. James 5:17b-8 says, “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. 18 Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.”

Frequently, when we look at the heroes of our faith, we only look at their heroic moments. That’s a mistake because it elevates them to a category that’s above our reach. It’s vitally important for us to remember that “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours.” This means Elijah didn’t live on the spiritual mountain top; he also had moments in the valley. It means he had his doubts and fears, but it also means God never gave up on him.

God can use you in the same way that He used Elijah. This message is all about ending the drought in your life, in your family, in your church, and in your city.

Turn in and let’s declare together, “The drought is over.”

View Details

This message will look at Elijah’s faith on Mount Carmel. It is beyond time for us to quit limping between two opinions. People of prayer are focused on one opinion, the opinion of God alone. Once we hear God’s voice, there’s no margin for other opinions. When God speaks, we respond with submission and surrender.

The more we hear His voice, the more His faith is imparted to us. This message is about rebuilding the altar of God in your life. God doesn’t allow multiple altars. Nothing will change one’s prayer life more than rebuilding and restoring the altar of God in your life.

Prayer is about so much more than a transaction. Yes, asking is important, but prayer is more about abiding than asking. Frequently, prayer is full of disappointment and delays because we ask before we abide.

There are many aspects of Jesus’ baptism that are frequently overlooked.
This message looks at the Baptism of Jesus in Mark 1:9-11 and focuses on the Spirit descending on Him like a dove.

This message is about three secrets disciplines: Giving, Praying, and Fasting. This immediately presents an obvious question: Why aren’t most of us good at things we’re supposed to do privately?

Are you good at giving? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Are you good at praying? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Are you good at fasting? If yes, why? If no, why not?

This message is about embracing your private life more than your public life. Your secret place should be your safe place. When we prioritize what happens in private then we can have confidence about what happens in public. Ultimately, one can’t maintain intimacy without privacy.

Listen to this message, commit to the three secret disciplines, and you’ll never regret this decision.

This message presents different types of fasts, the purpose of the fast, and prayer priorities of the fast. One rarely has a great fasting experience without great preparation. It’s important for our fast to embrace the replacement principles. Ultimately, we replace fasting physical food with feasting on spiritual food.

Listen to this message to prepare well and focus on the following prayer priorities:

  • Renew your Passion
  • Renew your Purity
  • Renew your Purpose
  • Renew your Power
  • Renew your Provision

Isaiah 59:9 says, Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer, you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’

When we listen to God, our prayer life elevates beyond our battles to His battles. What does it look like for us to win battles in prayer?

We must go from wounded people to wounded healers. In a fallen and broken world, wounds are a way of life. We validate the pains of the past, but we don’t have to get stuck in the past.

Are you a person of forgiveness or unforgiveness? Unforgiveness always limits your relationship with God; therefore, unforgiveness always limits your prayers. If you are going to win battles in prayer, you must first win the battle of receiving and giving forgiveness.

Listen to this message and learn how Jesus’ blood speaks a better word.

  • It’s rewriting my history.
  • It covers me with destiny.
  • It’s making all things right.
  • The precious blood of Christ.

Today’s message comes from one of the most beautiful pictures of
restoration in all of scripture. Since we live in a fallen and broken world, it is
accurate to say that adversity is more normal than abnormal. Therefore,
this message should apply to all of us to one degree or another. In John
21:1-19, Peter’s mind is spiraling; therefore, he decides to go fishing to
distract himself and perhaps regain some sanity.
Peter goes fishing and a bad day turns into a worse night. They caught
nothing. Have you ever been there? That’s precisely the moment; we need
God to show up and intervene. Watch this message and learn the secret of
“casting the net on the right side of the boat.”

Today’s message is one of the most important messages that’s been taught
in almost five years of One City’s life. The goal of this message is to
provide the context for God’s vision and call the people of One City up to
fulfill it.
Since every vision is a solution to a problem; it is important for us that
movements of God aren’t started and sustained by safe leaders and
followers. This message is an invitation to step out of your safety zone.
One never steps into his or her destiny without a challenge. It is the
challenge that stretches us beyond our ability to God’s ability in us and
through us.
The results are too great to miss this message and opportunity.

As we come to our sixth week of exploring Dynamic Faith: The Power of the
Mustard Seed, we come face to face with a passage that can give great hope or
great frustration. As Pastor Karin breaks down the myths surrounding Matthew
7:7-11, we discover that Jesus’s promises associated with asking, seeking, and
knocking are not for a few select people, but for everyone longing to be
connected to the heart of our Heavenly Father. Whether you are new to the faith
or have walked with the Lord for years, the enemy loves to plant seeds of doubt
in our minds about the goodness of God. Combat those doubts with truth so you
can ask, seek, and knock with confidence.

Today we explore what Jesus meant when He said, “Let it be done according to your faith.” Was He saying that faith itself has power—or was He pointing to something deeper? Through the story of the blind men in Matthew 9 and personal reflections on suffering, healing, and spiritual transformation, we challenge the idea of “faith in faith” and re-center the conversation on faith in Jesus. If you’ve ever wrestled with unanswered prayers, doubt, or the pain of not seeing healing the way you hoped, this message is for you.

View Details

Dynamic Faith: The Power of the Mustard Seed is about establishing God’s definition of faith. It’s very possible that “Faith” is the most controversial topic throughout the pages of scripture. Why is that true? It’s because the biggest and boldest promises are always associated “Faith.” Since that’s true, this topic generates the strongest of feelings, both positively and negatively.

At One City Church, we operate from the belief that the Bible is God’s Word; therefore, it is true and without error. We can’t pick and choose what verses we believe and keep versus what versus we doubt and delete. Since the verses on “Faith” are so prominent and important; it is essential for us to understand and apply them accurately.

That’s why this series is about moving from a man-centered to a God-centered perspective on “Faith.” When we read the scriptures from a man-centered perspective we misunderstand and misapply everything. We turn “Faith” into a formula and make it small and powerless. Obviously, that’s the complete opposition of God’s definition of “Faith.”

Today’s message is from Matthew 17:14-20. A father comes to the disciples asking them to heal his son. Even though the disciples have cast out demons and healed people previously, they weren’t able to do it this time. All of us should be able to identify with ebbs and flows of our abiding relationship and thus our faith.

How irresponsible would it be for faith to be formula? Faith is too important and too powerful to allow shortcuts. When it comes to increasing our faith, we must embrace the process of becoming a trustworthy steward and servant.

This passage invites into another level of abiding and mountain moving faith by inviting us into a lifestyle of prayer and fasting.

Today’s message looks at the parable of the sower in Matthew 13. This passage is vitally important in understanding the quality of the soil. The seed is the Word of God and is obviously important, but it is the soil that determines whether the seed is received or rejected.

In this message we’ll look at seven important principles that we can learn from farmers in cultivating good soil. This is important for many reasons, but it vitally important in determining one’s harvest. The best harvest a farmer could expect in Jesus’ day was a 10-fold harvest, but Jesus promises that one can receive a 100-fold, 60-fold, or 30-fold harvest. Listen and apply the truths of this message to receive a greater harvest.

Holidays are important, but they’re also tricky. Unfortunately, most people orient themselves to holidays from a factual perspective instead of feelings. The facts are important, but if the facts about Easter are true then they should also generate feelings.

It is our hope and prayer that this Easter message enables people to believe for the first time or to believe again. In many respects, Holy Days are like Anniversaries in two primary ways. First, they should be a time to remember why we fell in love. Second, they should be an opportunity for us to renew our love.

It is much easier in life to be casual than committed. Therefore, this message is designed to help people move from a casual orientation to Jesus. Tim Keller once said, “If you have a casual response to Jesus, you have no intellectual integrity.” That’s a strong statement, but once the context is provided, it is also a compelling statement.

If you tune in to this message, you receive an uncommon and unexpected invitation. You are invited to believe it or leave it. Hopefully, the uniqueness of that statements makes you curious enough to listen it, to believe it, and ultimately to live it.

If God gave us His definition for success, would you pay attention? Everyone in the world is battling for success, yet most of us aren’t prioritizing God’s definition of success.

Guess what? For the vast majority, success is never easy. Success always comes with internal challenges and external opposition. This is especially true spiritually because there’s an enemy fighting against God’s purposes and promises. That’s why God tells Joshua and Caleb time and time again to be “strong and courageous.”

Success is a battle on many levels. It is a battle spiritually, mentally, and physically. In this series, we’re going to discover and develop the lion inside of you.

The final message of Courageous is from Joshua 24:1-33. The goal of this message is to help you make a confident declaration. Most of us doubt our ability to make and sustain commitments. That’s because the majority of our commitments are more intellectual than relational. Both of are important, but our hearts must be the driver.

This message is about rediscovering the feelings behind the facts. It’s vitally important for our history and holy days to be more than facts and traditions. Ultimately, history is His Story. It is so important for us to revitalize the holidays by personalizing the story. We must go beyond honoring Jesus as the Savior, but worshipping Him as our personal Lord and Savior. For many of us, we are already married, but holidays are an excellent time to renew our vows.

This message is an opportunity to command your heart to wake up and be renewed. It is so easy to become too busy, too distracted, and numb out. It is time to feel again. Listen to this message with a heart to respond and be renewed.

The tenth message of Courageous is from Joshua 7:1-26. What happens when we don’t heed the Word of God, but especially the warnings of God? Why does God warn us? His warnings aren’t about withholding goodness; they are about protecting us.

Chapter seven of Joshua is one of those chapters where God could easily be misrepresented or misunderstood. When God’s consequences feel harsh, it’s important to learn why. God is never harsh just for the sake of being harsh. He is good and is always looking out for our good.

Tune in to this message and learn the importance of heeding God’s warnings. God can use this message to protect you from some of life’s greatest regrets. Lastly, the flip side of consequences are the blessings. God’s heart for us is to receive the blessings and avoid the consequences.

The ninth message of Courage is from Joshua 6:1-7. What do you when the battle finally arrives? In many respects, the Israelites waited over forty years for this battle. This is the moment of faith.

Faith is so much more than a set of beliefs, rather, faith is confident trust in the one true God. Would the Israelites believe an improbable battle plan? Would they trust and obey God to deliver Jericho into their hands?

None of us live in this fallen and broken world without battles. God desires for us to live in the fullness of His promises today.

Every battle has defining moments, what is necessary for us to win and sustain the victory on the seventh day? As you listen to this message, you’ll face key decisions and actions for sustain victory:
Follow His Presence
Go Forward
Take the City
Do not Covet
No Compromise

The eighth message of Courageous is all about the keys to victory. It is important to remember that every victory has a backstory. Everyone knows about the Jericho victory, but most people don’t know the backstory. This message walks us through the circumcision of approximately 600,000 men. If nothing else, that statement alone should make you curious enough to listen. However, it also walks us through the celebration of Passover, the end of the manna, and the arrival of the Captain of the Lord’s Army.

Victories are almost always internal before they’re external. The biggest battles in life are fought internally first. Once we win the internal battles, we are equipped and empower to fight the external battles. This message will prepare you for life battles. We are to win the small battles to win the big battles.

Lastly, we are the Lord’s soldiers. Therefore, we don’t have to fight our battles alone. This is a new type of war with a new type of warfare. Our approach is radically different when we’re being led by the Captain of the Lord’s Army. This is the ultimate transition from fear to faith.

The seventh message of this message is from chapters 3 and 4 of Joshua. Last week was about Consecration, this week is about Crossing Over. It is important to focus on the future, but it’s also incredibly important to learn from the past. If don’t learn from the past, then we and even our children are doomed to repeat the past.

If we don’t mark the moment by creating spiritual markers then we begin the process of forgetting and failing. Please prioritize listening to this message for yourself, but also for your family and friends. It is essential for those in our circle to know the stories of God’s work in us and through us.

There’s lyrics in a song that says, “My God did not fail, that’s the story I’ll tell.” It is important for to be strategic about remembering God’s work and retelling the stories. Remember Revelation 19:10 says, “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” The more we remember old works, the more we’ll experience new works.

Listen to the gain understanding about consecration, but more importantly, listen to this message to consecrate yourself. At the end of this message, you will be invited into and guided through a prayer of consecration. Regardless of when you listen to this message, your prayers will be heard by God in real time.

Please do more than listen to this message. Whatever you do, don’t rush through the ending. This is more than a message; this is an opportunity for you to consecrate yourself. You will never regret applying these truths by dedicating uninterrupted time to consecrate yourself. Ask for more of the Holy Spirit and trust the wonders of God to come in fullness.

Tune into this message and commit to all your desires and dreams coming true. That’s not a promise of our definition of health, wealth, and prosperity, but it is a promise of God’s definition of success and prosperity.

This message answers three crucial questions:
Should you wait for God to complete the plans before you obey?
Should you wait for God to remove the uncertainties before you obey?
Are you missing God’s promises because you are demanding the plans?

Lastly, prioritize listening to this message to discover the secret behind discerning and discovering the fullness of God’s will.

The second message of this series comes from Numbers 14:1-45. This chapter is jammed packed with incredible truths on so many different levels. In addition to tuning into this message, I highly recommend reading this chapter 5 to 10 times in a discipline of observation, interpretation, and application. That’s an investment of time that will yield rich results.

Back to the message, learn how Joshua and Caleb had a different spirit and followed the Lord fully. This is one of the greatest compliments in scripture. To follow the Lord fully doesn’t require perfection, but it does require a new understanding of what it looks like to be in an abiding relationship with God.

Some people might feel defeated by the challenge to follow the Lord fully. Don’t believe that lie. This is an inspiring invitation. It is an invitation to be whole-hearted. No one wants to be half-hearted. When we our hearts are focused, our lives are full. In the best use of this word, you become the exception when you follow the Lord fully.

This first message is about learning to fight the good fight. Don’t believe the lie that you can avoid the fight. No one bypasses the battle. First, the enemy is too good at what he does. He’s the world’s best liar and only have one focus and that’s to steal, kill, and destroy. While that can be intimidating, it is important to remember that God’s command to be “strong and courageous” is not a man-centered command, but rather, it is a command filled with God’s power to be victorious.

This message is a wake-up to truly see and understand the dynamics of the battle. God doesn’t want you to lose a single battle. He has prepared us to be victorious. Tune in and learn how to fulfill your God-given potential by fighting the good fight.

What comes to your mind when you hear the word “Blessing”? Whether one is a Christ follower or not, most people probably think about blessing our food. While that’s important, that’s not the reason the word “Blessing” is used over 500 times in the Bible. This series will explore the many definitions of the word “Blessing,” but it’s most simple and straightforward definition, it means “to bestow good on one.”

Obviously, the frequency and meaning of the word “Blessing” says a lot of the One who blesses. Yet it is also important for us to know that as God’s children, He gives us the authority and ability to bless others. All of us want to receive blessings, but it is also vitally important for all of us to give blessings.

The last message of this series is from one of the most famous passages in the Bible where an Angel wrestles with Jacob. Ultimately, all of us wrestle with God. Some of us wrestle proactively, but most of us wrestle reactively. Typically, the wrestling match is about something you can’t learn any other way.

Listen to this message and discover the importance of surrender and submission. Surrender is the secret to all forms of reconciliation. First, reconciliation with God; second, reconciliation with one another. Reconciliation is the first blessing, but it is also the key to stewarding the blessings of God.

Everyone wants to be blessed, but not everyone wants to surrender and submit. This message is an opportunity for you to surrender and submit proactively. This is the fastest and least painful way to receive the blessing.

Don’t delay or doubt, the blessing is worth it on every level.

In part one of The Blessing: It is Much More Than We Realize, Pastor Karin Conlee **outlined some biblical principles to help align our hearts with truth as we enter this new series. God is a blesser and just as He blessed throughout the pages of Scripture, He wants to bless His children and give us the gift of being a blessing. When we believe the world’s views on blessings we will short change all that God wants to do in and through us. Focusing on God’s famous call to Abram to leave his home and “go to a land that I will show you” in Genesis 12, this message helps us see blessings that come through both relationship and obedience.

Throughout this series, we will examine the many ways that God blessed His children and how that desire and opportunity is still as possible today as in Biblical times. Likewise, our steps of faith also give us the opportunity to be a conduit of God’s love by being His instrument to bless those in our midst.**

In part two of Pants on Fire, Pastor Karin tackles the three most common lies that the enemy whispers about us. The enemy should not be given more credit than he deserves, but he is the father of lies, and we would be foolish not to have a plan to defeat his lies. Too many Christians and those on their journey towards Christ get derailed from fulfilling their God-given purpose when they accidentally agree with a lie of the enemy. Whether you are newer in your faith journey or a seasoned Christian, the enemy doesn't give up easily.

Focusing on 1 Peter 2:9-12, we are reminded of our position as sons and daughters of God that refutes the enemy's whispers. Empowered by God's word and three practical strategies, this sermon can help you be prepared to recognize the lies of the enemy, renounce the lies, and replace them with truth. Pants on Fire is a two-part series. And while most of us remember "Liar, liar, pants on fire" from childhood, it is time for followers of Christ to stop letting the enemy's lies about God and about us keep us from the fullness of life that God intends.

This message is from chapter 8 of Deuteronomy, verses 10-20. This
message is about receiving God’s blessings without becoming casual,
convenient, and consumeristic. It is easy for fullness to lead to
forgetfulness.

It’s essential for us to remember who the giver of goodness is. To
remember is important for many reasons, but the most important reason is
that remembering keeps us humble instead of prideful.

Lastly, every good parent gives warnings. Moses ends the Deuteronomy
8:19-20 with a serious and solemn warning. Ultimately, why does anyone
give a warning? This message is an opportunity for us to protect ourselves,
but more than that, it is an opportunity for us to experience the fullness of

This message is from chapter 2 of Revelation. This passage is all about
three things: Remember therefore from where you have fallen, repent, and
do the works you did at first. This sounds simple, but most truths are harder
to obey than to learn.
This message will help you use your memory for good instead of allowing
the enemy to sabotage it for bad. God wants us to remember for the
purpose of renewal. Memories are powerful, especially because they are
more about feelings than facts.
God wants us to remember why we fell in love so that we’ll fall in love again. However, it’s about much more than remembering. We’re supposed to remember
what we did positively and do it again. Repentance is about so much more
than the admission of fault; ultimately it is about changing our desire,
decisions, and disciplines. Repentance isn’t difficult; it is a beautiful gift that
renews everything.

This message is from chapter 6 of Deuteronomy. This passage is all about
“The Shema.” Jesus was asked, “Teacher, which is the great
commandment in the Law?” In Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus quotes “The
Shema” of the Old Testament as the timeless commandment of love. If you
will remember this one commandment, this commandment can heal
everything in your life: past, present, and future.
If you are hurting go back to love, nothing heals like love. All of us can
remember all the ways we haven’t been loved perfectly or we can
remember the One who is perfect love. Let’s not focus on what we
remember; let’s focus on what God remembers. God remembers His
covenant and forgets our sin.
If God forgets our sin, why do we remember it? It is time to remember what
God remembers and forget what God forgets. Don’t let the past keep you in
pain. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus is about your forgiveness,
freedom, and future.

Every listener should walk away from message this with a greater desire and determination to fulfill 1 Corinthians 14:1, “Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.”

This message from Luke 4:14-21, addresses the issue of healing. This topic can be challenging and complicated because it addresses our greatest needs and desires in life. People are only interested in healing when they need healing or when a loved one needs healing. Everyone wants healing on demand. Any answer but “Yes” is a hard answer that’s rarely understood or well received.

This message will address what the scripture does and doesn’t say about healing. It will not dodge the hard questions. We will approach this message from a place of mercy. God uses mercy to move us to action. What role does He want us to play in healing? Listen to the message so that you can see more healings, but also trust God when the healing isn’t immediate or even in this lifetime. We don’t have all the answers, but it is better to keep believing and hold out hope for healing than to quit believing and lose hope.

The pages of scripture are full of promises for the life of every believer to be filled with divine power. We have studied many of these so far in this series, “Is there more?”

But is there one overarching principle or promise that we can look to? Does God have a singular, “ultimate” purpose concerning us? If so, how does it relate to the topic of power?

In this message, William takes a deep dive into the source of greater power in our lives. From the Book of Ephesians, William extracts the principles and postures necessary to unlock and unleash the limitless power God has promised to us as His Holy people. The question is “Where does the greatest power come from?” The answer may surprise you.

· Action instead of agreement.

Lastly, all of us have mountain in our life, immovable objects. Yet God promises our faith, confident trust in Him, can move mountains. Let’s quit focusing on the size of the mountain and start focusing on the size of our God.

This message from John 14:12-18 answers a big theological question in a powerful and practical way. Verse 12 says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these will he do; because I go to the Father.” How can this verse be true? The consequences are too great on too many levels if it isn’t true.

Tune into this message and let it answer the following questions:

  • Why did Jesus say this?
  • What did Jesus say next?
  • What does Jesus mean by greater works?
  • Was Jesus confident in His plan?
  • Should we be confident in His plan?

This message from John 7:37-39 answers the question, “Is There More”? Jesus is at The Feast of Tabernacles when hundreds of thousands of people traveled to Jerusalem and lived in tents for the week. That statement alone should make you curious enough to listen to the message.

What Jesus does at the festival is bold and radical. He made a statement that redefined everything then and is still redefining everything today. Watch this message to learn and experience the filling that satisfies your thirst and ultimately your soul.

In this fourth message of the series, William takes an unorthodox approach to explaining both the role of the Holy Spirit and what a thriving Church looks like from a ministry standpoint. Rather than the dogmatic, didactic rhetoric that is common when attempting to dissect 1 Cor 12, William attempts to weave a much more holistic narrative, and paint a broader picture that should enrich, challenge and ultimately encourage every believer to embrace the truth of what God promises us in Scripture.

This message from Acts 2 is significant for many reasons, but especially because we are teaching on Pentecost on the actual day of Pentecost. The word Pentecost simply means 50th day. It was originally used to refer to the Festival of Weeks or Shavuot. Leviticus 23:16 instructs people to count seven weeks or “50 days” from the end of Passover to the beginning of the next holiday.

It was originally a harvest festival (Ex 23:16), but, in time, turned into a day to commemorate the giving of the law on Mt. Sinai. Think about this; the giving of the law was REPLACED by the giving of the Spirit. Pentecost officially launched one of the greatest movements in history; it is time to do it again.

Frequently, when we read scripture there’s a difference between the people’s experience with God then and people’s experience with God now. When it comes to God and His church, most people are asking this question: Is There More?

It’s a valid question. The answer is "Yes!" The pages of Scripture and testimonies throughout history, prove one hundred percent that the answer is “Yes!” In this series we will look at the third member of the trinity, the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, the Holy Spirit is frequently misunderstood and taken out of context. It is our goal in this series to give you a confident understanding of WHO the Holy Spirit is and WHAT the Holy Spirit does.

Again, our aim isn’t to over emphasize the Holy Spirit, but we are tired of under emphasizing the Holy Spirit. Once Jesus ascended, He gave us the Holy Spirit to indwell us for the purpose of guiding us, growing us, and gifting us. Listen to this series, apply the truths, and you will discover, there is more.

In many respects the church feels outdated and out of touch with today’s values and beliefs. That’s true from man’s perspective, but that’s not true from God’s perspective. God’s church has faced all types of adversity and opposition through the years, but the church has done more than survive.

In fact, God uses the challenges to purify and prune His church.

Ultimately, that means God purifies and prune us because we are His church. We are the family of God, the sons and daughters that He uses to reveal His glory and to increase His goodness.

When we battle doubt and even discouragement, it is vitally important for us to remember of Jesus said in Matthew 16:18b, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Listen to this message and regain your confidence in Jesus commitment to build his church, to build us to be people who advance heaven and stop hell.

In this second message in the series Understanding God’s Delays, we wrestle with the big questions. Why does God push pause on His promises to us? What good is to be gained from going nowhere? What am I supposed to do in the doldrums of delay?

From this well-known passage in Isaiah, William explores an unconventional path to not merely surviving delays but finding purpose, power and engagement in them! This message will open your eyes and expand your horizon of hope for what God intends for you.

If you have prayed for anything and not seen an answer, it can leave you frustrated and confused. In this message Karin looks at God’s encounter with Abraham and Sarah in Genesis 18:1-15 to explore the timeless truths that can help us trust in a good Father even when we don’t understand His timing.

When you think about an Easter message, what do you think about? If you have history in church, then you might think, I know that story. Yes, I venture to say that over 90% of people know the story about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, what percentage of people have experienced the power of Jesus’ resurrection personally? That is a radically different question.

This message isn’t about Jesus’ resurrection as much as it is about your resurrection. Jesus’s resurrection is about so much more growing up or growing wise; it is about walking in newness of life (Rom 6:4). Tune into this message and find out how you can live out these five truths from Romans 6:1-23.

(1) Walk in newness of life (6:4).
(2) Be set free from sin (6:7).
(3) Believe that you will live with Him (6:8).
(4) Consider yourself Dead to Sin and Alive to God (6:11).
(5) Become Obedient from the Heart (6:17-18).

In this fourth message, we consider the critical role of attention in seeing and seizing opportunities. In consideration of Palm Sunday, we take the events of Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, as described in John 12:12-19, and pose 3 distinct challenges Jesus faced and learn from the Master how to handle them.

While it’s easy to look at the moments leading up to and following this historic day with eyes of praise for the King and songs of joy, there is a very different and very powerful narrative underlying this time as experienced from the perspective of Christ as He started the clock

counting down to His ultimate trial and crucifixion. We will dive into the 3 traps that could have caused Jesus to miss His own opportunity, and why that is very relevant for us today.

In the third message of this series, we will look at the need for restoration.

All of us miss the wave from time to time. Some waves are bigger and stronger than others. Wipeouts are not only possible, but if you surf long enough, they are also probable. Some wipeouts have an easy recovery, while other wipeouts can destroy your confidence and courage.
If Peter was a surfer, he would be known for the extremes. He had some major wipeouts, but he also had some wild rides. In John 21:1-17, we’ll look at Peter’s three denials, but also his three affirmations. This passage is one of the greatest stories in the pages of scripture. It’s extremely important to tune into this message because all of us make decisions in life we regret, but not all of us recover from those decisions. This message is about one of the greatest comeback stories in history.

In the eighth message of this series, we look at the famous passage from Ezekiel 37 about the valley of dry bones. This chapter is an amazing picture of the promised fulfilled of the restoration of God’s people to Israel.

The exiled people were dead in their idolatry. Here’s the amazing thing about the dead people; dead people can’t help dead people not be dead. They were completely helpless and hopeless apart from God’s intervention.

Once again in this chapter we see God’s amazing commitment to restoring His holy name and holy promises. However, it is important for us to remember that we’re the recipient of His commitment. God never quits. His character won’t allow Him to quit or give up on His love because He is love. He can’t stop being who He is.

When you listen to this message, please prioritize the following questions:

· What do you do as you were commanded?
· Where do you obey without compromise?
· What is the last prompting of the Spirit you obeyed?
· What is the last prompting of the Spirit you delayed?
· What looks alive in your life but isn’t truly alive?
· Where are you going through the motions?
· What do you do with your God ideas?

In this message, William explores all of the promises of Ezekiel 36, and the one pivotal promise that trumps them all. This message will not only challenge your view of God’s behavior, it will call you to a higher level of living only possible through the faithfulness of our loving Father.

In the sixth message of this series, we look at God’s extraordinary promises. Here’s the interesting thing with this chapter, it starts with great disappointment and judgment because the people were defiling God’s name. Most of the time we don’t associate disobedience to God, with extraordinary promises from God.

However, we learn in this chapter that God is committed to His holy name. In this context, God acts based upon His mercy and grace, not based upon our obedience or disobedience. There comes a point in time when God judges, but there’s also a point in time when God moves us toward repentance with His kindness.

Consider these questions:

· What if God is great at restoration?

· What if God doesn’t restrain His goodness and generosity?

· What if God doesn’t restrain His joy?

Regardless of disobedience, God is committed to our best and still has amazing promises for us. If you need to be encouraged and believe again about God’s promises and plans, then this message is a timely message for you.

In the fifth message of this series, we look at the issue of leadership. In many respects the job description of a Shepherd was determined by the weaknesses of sheep. Leadership is many things, but in a bottom line kind of way, leadership is problem solving.

In Ezekiel 34, there was an abundance of problems with the Shepherds. Most of the time when you have a problem with followers; there’s a problem with leadership. God uses Ezekiel to address this problem and announce His provision of a new Shepherd who will usher in a new covenant.

Learn what it means to receive and live into the fullness of God's promised peace. The Hebrew word for peace is Shalom and it is one of the richest and most important words throughout Scripture. Peace is much more than the absence of problems; peace begins with and is sustained by an abiding relationship with the Prince of Peace.

In the fourth message of this series, we look at this statement, “But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned.” This statement is repeated four times in this chapter and many times throughout scripture.

More times than not, we see history repeat itself because sin remains the same throughout history. Unfortunately, sin is accelerating and multiplying today at warp speed. Given our condition, what is your confidence in the ability of God’s people to return?

I’ve got bad news and good news. The bad news is that my confidence in God’s people and His church is low at times; however, the good news is that my confidence level is high in God acting for the sake of His holy name.

Our confidence is that God will secure His own honor. Jesus never quits on us nor on His purpose and plan for us. Our first response must be gratitude, but our second response should be a new commitment to live for His name. Listen and learn the secrets to living for His glory and goodness.

Today, we look at judgment, and all the ways people misrepresent who God is, how He judges, and why He judges. Unfortunately, most people respond to God in extremes instead of understanding God’s balance of love and justice. This message is designed to help respect and honor who God is as the Judge so that we’ll heed the warnings and not experience the consequences.

This message is especially important and unpopular today given the culture’s emphasis on tolerance. It’s important for us to understand what tolerance is from God’s perspective and definition. He is merciful and gracious in countless ways, but He does not tolerate sin.

Why? He hates what hurts us. He’s against sin because our sin separates us from the One who is love and gives us the ability to love. Listen and learn to walk the tightrope of elevating holiness and respecting justice, so that we will live a lifestyle of repentance.

In the second message of this series, we look at the importance of warnings. Most people view warnings from a negative perspective, but from God’s perspective warnings are an expression of love. This message will analyze why we resist warning and what we need to do to receive warnings.
Lastly, it’s important to understand the timing dynamics of warnings. Warnings aren’t immediate judgments with the immediate onset of consequences; but rather warnings are opportunities to repent. God wants the warning to be heeded and thus fulfill its purpose. Nothing breaks God’s heart more than a warning that came into fulfillment. In the fifth and final message of this series, we look at Matthew 9:9-13. This is the story of Matthew, the tax collector, not the person that’s usually invited to everyone’s parties. Jesus constantly kept people off guard; especially the religious leaders of His day. No one could figure Him out. Why would this man intentionally associate Himself with sinners, tax collectors, and prostitutes? Isn’t He worried about His reputation and the potential rumors?

In fact, God’s assignments are almost always uncomfortable because they’re not about us; they are about God and His mission. We never become who Gods’ called us to be in our comfort zone. That’s one of many reasons why our assignments are so important.

One hundred percent is about a devoted instead of divided heart. Competition for our devotion always reveals two things: One, we need to elevate our view of God and trust His promises. Two, we need to identify the enemy’s lies and replace them with truth. This message will identify four primary temptations to compromise our commitment to one hundred percent.

This message challenges us to consider our ways… and to be better for it.

We all know the desire to see a prayer answered and a problem solved. But what is our response when we see God’s provision? Teaching through Nehemiah 8:1-18, Pastor Karin helps us see how the children of Israel’s response to the completion of the rebuilding of the walls has incredible application to us today. If you want those around you to marvel at “this work has been accomplished with the help of our God” check out this message.

In Nehemiah 6:15-16, we come across an incredibly strategic verse. It says, So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of the month Elul, in fifty-two days. 16When all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations surrounding us saw it, they lost their confidence; for they recognized that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.

Today’s message is intentionally different than the majority of our messages. This message is all about supernatural story-telling. It’s about the power of testimony. In this message, you’ll hear the stories that show how this work is only being accomplished with the help of our God.

This is a can’t miss message because these stories prove that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He hasn’t changed. Every promise is accompanied by His power. God’s promises and power are still available today. Listen to these stories and allow them to inspire you to believe God for these stories to become your stories. Here’s the best part, these stories are only the preparation; they are paving the way for even more.

In the third message of this series, we learn about Nehemiah as a vision-caster. The vision was clear, concise, and compelling because he followed three simple steps:
- Nehemiah defined the problem.
- Nehemiah offered the solution.
- Nehemiah presented the reason.

Nehemiah wasn’t the first person to say the walls needed to be rebuilt, but he was the first one in one hundred years who inspired and mobilized the people to say, “Let us arise and build.” Listen to this message and learn how he presented a new reason to solve an old problem. Second, it wasn’t just his vision that moved the people to action; it was his story. They truly saw and heard something different from Nehemiah. Ultimately, they believed Nehemiah 2:8b, “the good hand of God was on him.”

In the second message of this series, we see how Nehemiah responds to king’s two all important questions:
- Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick?
- What are you requesting?
Nehemiah’s answers reveal a great deal about who Nehemiah is as a man of God and as a leader. Listen to this message to learn how Nehemiah lived in the presence of God, remembered the promises of God, embodied the passion of God, and was prayed up and prepared for God’s opportunity. This is message relevant and applicable to all of us, but it’s especially important from the perspective of leadership.

In this first message, we see how Nehemiah responds to the news that the walls are broken down and its gates have been destroyed by fire. There’s a radical difference between sadness and repentance. Listen to this message and learn how Nehemiah prayed, but he also did more than pray. Prayer was an invitation to hear God’s vision, participate in God’s vision, and fulfill God’s vision.

Most of us resist sharing an AirBnB with our extended family for a week on vacation. Can you imagine traveling together for 40 years in the wilderness? In the message, we look at Moses’ message as the children of Israel are on the cusp of the Promise Land as their wilderness journey ends after forty long years. How did the remaining generation feel about those who went before them and the unknown new chapter before them? What would be the key to this second generation experiencing a new season full of God’s blessings?

All of us are somewhere along the spectrum of generations- a young adult looking ahead, a married couple starting a life together, an established couple with the responsibilities of their children, a grandparent, or a great-grandparent. No matter where we are in the seasons of life, our decisions and perspective have a more significant impact than we realize. In this practical message, Pastor Karin explores the parallels between the children of Israel and our present realities so we can experience peace in our hearts and our relationship with God and others. What seems heavy is actually made light, if we follow God’s directions.

Today’s message looks at the story of Cornelius and Peter both receiving direction from God through prayer. Prayer is so much more than a one-way conversation; it is about listening, receiving, and obeying. Yes, God answers prayer, but He frequently uses our obedience to facilitate the answer. Tune into this message to learn how God still speaks and operates through prayer today. He hasn’t changed; He’s the same and prayer still works.

There are times in life when all of us need a little help making decisions. Few things make us more decisive than defining moments. These are the moments in life where it’s impossible to remain neutral. The enemy’s goal is for us to make decisions against God instead of for God. Yet, God uses these moments for His purposes and plans. This message is designed to help us make proactive decisions by learning from Paul’s defining moment instead of waiting for adversity to come our way.

Have you ever witnessed something so great, special, or loving that you had to share it? Absolutely! It’s virtually impossible to not share good news. All of us enjoy telling stories when we have the opportunity to witness something unique and special.

If my sports team a big game at the buzzer, I talk about it. If I go to a great restaurant I not only talk about it, but I send pictures of my million-dollar bacon appetizer. If one of my kids accomplished something significant, I can’t wait to talk about it.

When it comes to being a witness for Christ, it should be this natural and easy. This message is going to remove the fear and awkwardness from the great commission and empower you to love your mission.

Imagine the first time you heard Jesus say, Follow me. What did those words represent? It was the greatest invitation in history, until it wasn’t. It was great for three and half years, but suddenly everything changed.

Do you ever reconsider or evaluate your decisions? What happens to your commitment when circumstances change? Is your commitment dependent upon your circumstances? Right now, is your commitment decreasing or increasing?

Guess what? Even the disciples had their moments of doubt, but after the resurrection they never doubted again.

To one degree or another, fear is influencing most people’s lives more than faith. This should never be the case. This message addresses the origins of fear and shows people how to replace fear with faith.

Three strategic questions:
(1) Where do you need to be devoted again?
(2) Where do you need to believe big again?
(3) Where do you need to be bold in your faith again?

The next level is waiting on your willingness to be bold and take risks. It is a no regret decision. Safety will not lead you to your desired you to life and life more abundant.

Today’s message, Consider Your Ways, is the first of five primary messages through the book of Haggai. In many respects, it is looking at a map and saying YOU ARE HERE. You have to know where you are in order to figure out where you are going. When God says, Consider Your Ways, He is speaking the truth in love.

Unfortunately, this is a forgotten practice in today’s culture. Hard questions and truths are appropriate and needed. Most people don’t change by suggestions; most people need trusted people to speak truth in love in order to change.

This message will lead you to Consider Your Ways from the perspective of God and God’s people who only want what’s best for you. Consider these questions:

·      Who has permission to ask hard questions in your life?
·      Who do you receive hard truths from?
·      When is the last time you received a hard truth?
·      What are the results of receiving hard truths?
·      What are the consequences of not receiving hard truths?

(5) I will make you like a signet ring

The rebuilding of the Temple is a spiritual work before it is a physical work. The same is true today. This message is about discovering the secret to pure pleasure. Every truth can be taken out of context, but when you discover this truth in its context, it will radically influence your approach to your desires and dreams. Take this journey with us from John 15:12-17 and discover some of God’s biggest and best promises.

In many respects this message teaches a "less is more" approach. All of us want more, but few of us realize the path to more is all about less. Are you doing too many things? Are you doing too many good things? What is the difference between good priorities and God's priorities? Positively and proactively, the answers are found in the pruning process. If you've taken some detours and become disconnected, than the answers are found in the discipline process. Typically, there's some confusion between pruning and discipline, but this message will provide clarity and confidence regarding God's purpose for both.

When we hear the word "abundance," our temptation to skip the importance of abiding and just focus on the end result. Not so fast, this message is going to focus on first things first by focusing on the process of abiding. We'll answer the following "How" questions: How do I remain in Jesus and His family? How do I stay closely connected relationally? How do I settle in for the long term? When we focus on abiding, we can trust God with abundance.

Thought-provoking question: Do we have a darkness problem or a light problem? We have a light problem. When we have the light, the darkness disappears. In the same way, it's essential for us to focus on saying Yes to God instead of No to sin. The focus is a game changer. When our focus in Yes, our abiding is more consistent than inconsistent. It is sustained instead of temporary. In this message, we're going to see the importance and impact of saying Yes in three strategic areas.

Your first and most important "Yes" of 2022 is giving God your time. Once we give God our calendar, He will enable us to win the day, win the week, win the month, and ultimately win the year. Every other "Yes" begins with prioritizing God on your calendar. Think of it this way, since all of our time is actually God's time, then time is holy. Therefore, it is important for us to answer three primary questions:
How is your time set apart for God?
How is your time being used uniquely?
How is your use of time radically different?

View Details

How does one win the year? Determine your most important Yes for each day, week, and month? If you don't make strong choices; you'll make weak choices. A strong Yes creates a strong No, but a weak Yes also creates a weak No. This series is about saying Yes to Joshua's declaration in Joshua 24:15: "Choose this day whom you will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

In many respects, this message is about the multiplier of good soil. When we sow good seeds in good soil; we reap a harvest that's beyond our ability. Are you interested in a 100-harvest? Absolutely! Let me ask the question another way, are you interested in cultivating good soil? This message is an invitation to say YES to abundance and NO to average. Here's your bottom line; your soil determines if you have seeds or weeds.

This message explores creative ways for us to give the gifts money can't buy. Who needs the gift of faith, hope, and love this year? How can we give those gifts in strategic ways throughout the New Year? Think about your Christmas celebration from the perspective of these questions: What do your gifts say about God? What do your gifts say about you? What does it look like for you to offer God and others your best? What testimonies will be born from your Christmas gifts?

In this message, we’ll learn from Joseph’s example of trusting and obeying when it’s difficult to trust and obey. Problems are the norm, but it’s important for us to see beyond the problem. What is the promise in the problem? What is the purpose in the problem? Don’t be defined by the problem, be defined by the solution.

In this message, we'll look at the importance of believing and obeying in the context of family and friendship. We were never meant to walk out our faith in insolation. More times than not, information alone isn't enough. We need the encouragement that comes from others following God so that we have an example to follow. We are stronger together. We need one another to live abundantly and to advance the mission.

Karin and I will discuss the unique context, circumstances, and challenges we find ourselves in today as the people of God. It is absolutely essential for us to say "Yes" today. Incremental change will not get the job done; it is essential for us to give God our biggest and best "Yes."

In this message, you'll see how Cornelius and Peter's "Yes" facilitated God's work. They said "Yes" to the Priority, the Encounter, and the Assignment. It's incredibly important for us to understand that very few prayers are answered without God's people also saying "Yes." All of us know God has to say "Yes," but most of the time God is waiting on us to say "Yes."

This message focuses on the story of Cornelius and Peter from chapter ten in the book of Acts. These two individuals were known for being with Jesus, being sensitive to the Spirit, and doing what the Spirit prompts one to do. When God speaks, delays aren't acceptable. In fact, delayed obedience is disobedience. When we listen and respond to God's voice immediately then the unknown becomes known sooner rather than later.

In the theme of seeing the unknown become known, today's message focuses on the importance of testimonies and the role of prophetic words. We talk about five primary ways God uses testimonies to accomplish His purposes. In the spirit of testimonies, the majority of this message is designed to edify (build up), exhort (call higher), and console (increase joy) by sharing prophetic words about our future, about the unknown becoming known.

In today's culture with the unique challenges of a pandemic, there's no shortage of excuses, but the answer is the same today as it was in Malachi's day. In this message we explore what it looks like to read and understand the book of Malachi from the context of faith instead of fear, believing instead of doubting, and returning instead of resisting. Ultimately, God is a good, good Father who simply wants what's best for His children. It's always best for us to return to our Father.

Returning always begins with putting God first in our hearts and minds, but also first in the ways we honor God with our tithes and offerings. When we put God first financially that frequently acts as a catalyst for everything else to follow.

Is our God supernatural or not? Is He true to His Word or not? What does it look like for us to advance heaven and stop hell? That requires much more than a natural response to problems; that requires a supernatural response. It's time for us to respond to problems with God's authority and power.

It's time for us to be more than the assembled gathering; we are called to be an assembled army. What does it truly look like for us to be the bride of Christ, the family of God, the body of Christ, the temple of God, and the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth?

Lastly, it's time for us to pray for and see the "and suddenly" moments in life (see Acts 16:25-26). Let's pray for all the doors to be opened immediately and for everyone's bonds to be unfastened.

Don't focus on unbelief. It's time to replace unbelief with belief.

It is time for us to step into the fullness of what Jesus said in John 14:12, "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will He do, because I am going to the Father."
