Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we are discussing the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness. Immediately after Jesus was baptized he went into the wilderness and fasted 40 days and was then tempted by the devil in the same ways we are tempted, yet He did not sin. As we study this scripture we must understand the power of the evil one, but more importantly the power of God to deliver us from all temptation!
We hope this serves you well.
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we are studying the second half of Matthew 2; the flight to Egypt, Herod's hatred and the return to Nazareth. CS Lewis once said there are 3 main responses to Jesus; hate, terror or adoration. In Matthew 2 we see these responses on display and it leads all the way to us needing to make a decision about Jesus.
We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we continue discussing the birth of Jesus with the declaration of the Wise Men to King Herod about this baby who is born King of the Jews. We hope this serves you well!

We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Much has been said in the discussion about the value of human life. Today we take our discussion from the Biblical view of the value of human life. Dig into Genesis 1 and Psalms 139 with us and let's allow God to shape our worldview through the lens of scripture.
We hope this serves you well.

It is not of our own works, but of His.
We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we continue discussing our identity in Christ that we are made on purpose and made for a purpose. No life is an accident, but the difficult part is to then discover what our purpose is. A common purpose for all Christians is that we are made to be ambassadors of Christ as Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:20.
We hope this message serves you well!

Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we conclude our teaching series "Can I Ask That in Church?" asking the question, is temptation a sin? Simply put, no, temptation is not a sin. We can say this because Jesus was tempted yet was sinless. This is a question that we get a lot around here, and maybe you have been wondering the same thing. Take some time today to dive into God's Word with us and see what He has in store for you.
We hope this serves you well!

We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we continue asking tough questions with "is hell real? How do i know?" Scripture is chock-full of warnings, heeding and statements concerning hell and what it is like. Not something to be taken lightly, hell is very real, and so is heaven!

We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church online! Today we conclude our teaching series in the Gospel of John studying the resurrection of our Savior in John 20. Because Jesus has conquered sin and death, that victory is for us as well! We don't fight for victory but we can fight from a place of victory!
We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we are studying John 17, Jesus' High Priestly Prayer. In this prayer Jesus displays what an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father looks like. He prays for Himself to be glorified, for the disciples and for the future believers (the church). The closer we get to God the more we begin to love and serve like Him.
We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online. Today we are studying the foreknowledge of Christ as He tells of His upcoming death and betrayal. God is in control, but He also gives us responsibility. How humbling it is that God desires to use us to help accomplish His purpose.
We hope this serves you well.
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we are studying Jesus healing the man who has been blind form birth found in John 9. The healed man's testimony continues to grow as his faith and knowledge of who Jesus is continues to grow. It should be the same with us. As we continue our faith formation, both faith and knowledge of who Jesus is and what Jesus has done should be ever-increasing thus directing us how to live for Him.
We hope this serves you well!

We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we look at one of the major events after the resurrection of Jesus, Thomas' encounter. Thomas was struggling with what he knew Jesus could do with what he was feeling about Jesus' death. Oftentimes, we can feel a letdown after Easter if we don't fully understand that the best thing Jesus could do for us has already happened, His resurrection! Thanks for taking some time today to engage and grow in God's Word.
We hope this serves you well.
He is not here. He is risen, as He said! Powerful, life-changing words from the angel of the Lord to Mary on that first Easter morning. Rejoice, because Jesus is alive!
Thank you for joining us for this Easter message of hope, life and power!
We hope this serves you well.

We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we are studying Ephesians 4:1-16 looking at outside pressures that tries to inhibit unity and maturity in the Body of Christ. We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we are studying Matthew 10, Jesus' words of preparation to His disciples in what they should expect. Jesus empowered the 12 to preach, heal and let the people know the Kingdom of God is near. It is as near today as it was then because it may be by Jesus coming back or by us taking our last breath. Jesus helped the disciples with urgency to go and do ministry.
We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we are studying Mark 3:1-19 and some of the everyday pressures Jesus experienced from the Pharisees, to healing the sick and relating to/teaching His Apostles. The Pharisees had lost track of their main goal which was to teach about God. The demons knew Jesus was the Son of God but they didn't worship Him. The Apostles were commissioned to teach and heal, yet they were scared. These are some big pressures Jesus faced.
We hope this serves you well!

We can trust in what the Bible says because it is accurate and inspired.
We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we study Romans 3:20-26 in that Jesus is our redemption, propitiation, and demonstration. It is by God's unmerited favor towards us that we may have eternal salvation in Christ alone, by His work on the cross. Through Christ alone we can be justified to God. God's grace is the source of our justification. Jesus on the cross is the basis of our justification. And our faith, not deeds, is the means of our justification.
We hope this serves you well!

We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we conclude our teachings form the book of Jonah as we study chapter 4. Jonah's resentment towards the Ninevites was telling that we can do the right things but out hearts can still be wrong. We can be more concerned about our comfort than the salvation of the lost, and that breaks God's heart. Thanks for tuning in to our last week of Jonah.
We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we are studying Jonah 3, the revival of Jonah and the revival of the Ninevites. God is gracious and God is sovereign.
We hope this message serves you well.

We are looking at some of the parallels Luke is making between Jesus and Caesar Augustus, the one in authority when Jesus was born. We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! Today we look at the prophecy of Jesus' virgin conception from Isaiah 7 and how Biblical names are sometimes symbolic. We can put our hope in trusting God's Word to understand who God is and what God has already done for us. Christmas is the story of God reconciling us to Himself.
We hope this serves you well!
Welcome to Faith Church Online! As we begin the season of Advent, we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. Today we begin by studying John 1:1-8 and John 3:1-21. If we are feeling hopeless, maybe it's because we have put our hope in something that cannot provide the hope we need.
We hope this serves you well!

There are many times people make a truth claim about God that is not biblically sound. Scripture is the standard by which we measure any truth claims about God. In Colossians 1:15-13 Paul addresses some major issues going in in the church of Colossae: syncretism and gnosticism. Today we discuss how these try to creep into our faith-walk if we are not alert and steadfast.

Today we discuss where our value comes from; Christ. John 4 and Luke 19 are stories we may know, but they help us understand that true faith requires life change. Inward change leads to outward action. Jesus meets us where we are, but He loves us enough not to keep us that way. Need prayer? Send us an email anytime to prayer@aliveatfaith.org

Not all love is created equal. The divine love from our heavenly Father is a love so pure that never runs out and never stops pursuing you. While we re still sinners Christ died for you. This love doesn't wait until you've got it all figured out, it loves even when we're messy.

To grow in our faith requires us to grow in our prayer life. Today we take some time to pray. Oftentimes we say we are too busy or don't know what to pray about or even what to say, today we take care of that using the ACTS model; adoration, confession, thanksgiving, supplication.
Please excuse the poor sound quality as we had audio recording issues.

Doubt is an opportunity for a deeper faith if we push through and find the answers for the doubts. Jesus said, "blessed are those who believe but yet have not seen." Our faith is deeper than just the physical, here-and-now situations. Lord I believe, help my unbelief.

The peace that God gives through Jesus is true peace; not the product of positive thinking, absence of conflict or in good feelings. True peace comes from knowing our situations may not always be ideal but God is still in control! True peace should result in our joy and holiness. We hope this serves you well! God promises Abraham a great nation, a great land and through him will be a great savior to bless all the people. God's promises often involve us leaving one thing for something better. God's promises almost always involve patience. When we follow His leading and timing, we won't be disappointed.

The Tower of Babel is confusing for some because we don't understand why God would disperse all the people in the world. They were trying to set up a one world governing system to show they had as much power as the God who created them. The question for today, what towers have I created to myself that need to be torn down?

The Lord desires to be our rock and salvation. We get that Jesus is the source of our salvation, but He wants to be our rock as well. Our safe place, our refuge, our fortress. Psalm 61 & 62 help us understand this.

Oftentimes we hold back parts of ourselves from others because we think it will drive them away. Psalm 139 helps us understand that God knows everything about us and He loves us the most! We pray this message encourages you in this tough season.

In Matthew 13 Jesus shares the parable of good vs bad soil in the process of planting seeds. The Word of God is like a seed planted in our hearts, we must cultivate and till the ground to be ready to hear what God has for us.

Our final installment of the Awakenings series calls us to live according to how Christ has commanded. Our lives are the best way for others to know and understand Christ. May we take that mantle and live for Him so others may know Him.

"If you love me, keep my commands." Jesus does not mince words when He tells us that our actions and words are a direct reflection of our love for Him. We look at John 14:15-31 and discover that all of Jesus' commands are not optional, if we love Him.

We are called to a prayer awakening! All throughout scripture we see the power of prayer but the power doesn't stop at scripture. We can see God moving through our prayers each time we lift them to Him. This sermon is our Father's Day 2020 service.

Q & A w/Jesus.
Mark 11:27-33 Jesus' authority is questioned by the religious leaders of the day because He was doing great things and they simply couldn't justify He was doing it. Sometimes hard questions come with hard answers.

Welcome to Holy Week Throwback! This message is from 2017 when Pastor Jeremy delivered a sermon series called The Week That Changed The World.
Mark 11:15-19 Jesus clears the Temple from what has been turned into a "den of robbers". Sometimes we take for granted the place God has set apart for us; the church.

Today we celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry and the people shouting, "Hosanna!" Multiple prophecies fulfilled leading into Holy Week as we remember and honor King Jesus.

Matthew 6:25-34 Jesus helps us to understand that God is watching out for you. Jesus reminds us that God takes care of the little birds of the air so why wouldn't He take care of you? This is a precious reminder during difficult times that God is still in control.
We hope this message serves you well!
This is a different setup as we have recorded this sermon for video. In these uncertain times one thing is still sure, God is still in control! This is our first message since our physical church location has been postponed due to covid19. We hope this message serves you well.
In our pursuit of holiness, there will be things that act as hindrances trying to hold us back from our pursuit. Let this message act as a guardrail to help us see these areas in our own life. Legalism, emotionalism and a lack of self-control are just the tip of the iceberg.
We hope this message serves you well!
God lets us pursue holiness out of His goodness. He alone is the standard of holiness but we have an important role to play in that pursuit. 1 Peter 1:13-25 gives us a good roadmap of our role in pursuing holiness.
We hope this message serves you well!
Sanctification is a process. The reason we can even pursue holiness in the first place is out of God's goodness shown to us. Sanctification is everything God does in me to make me more like Christ.
We hope this message serves you well!
In 1 Peter 1:13-25 Christians are reminded of our calling to holiness. We are called to pursue holiness for God's purpose and through His grace. 2 timothy 1:7-14 shows us that pursuing holiness is possible through Christ alone.
We hope this message serves you well.
We are called to be holy as God is holy. I seems like an insurmountable task but it's not. If it was impossible, God wouldn't have called us to it. Holy means to be totally dedicated and devoted to God; set aside for His purpose; set apart from sin and its influence. It's not impossible...with God!
We hope this message serves you well.
As believers in Christ we don't need to know everything about every religion in order to defend our faith, we simply need to know what God's Word says. If we can test what we hear against God's Word we will be on the right track.
We hope this message serves you well!
Acts 2:42-47 gives us a glimpse of how the early church loved their communities. As the body of Christ we are to do the same. Loving our community comes from our love of Christ. If we love Christ it will then transform how we love and serve others.
We hope this message serves you well!
Jesus thinks that the church is a big deal!
Jesus started the church, taught the church, commissioned the church, empowered the church, died for the church, resurrected for the church and is coming back for the church!
We hope this message encourages you!
This year we are deepening our commitment to Christ through prayer and studying God's word. Growing in God requires purposeful time and effort. Jeremiah 29:13 tells us that when we seek God with ALL our heart, we are sure to find Him.
We hope this message serves you well!
2020 is the year of committing boldly to Christ, the church and our community. Growing our faith in Christ isn't done by just talking about it but by doing it. Loving the church as Christ loved the church isn't just an hour every week but investing in relationships and encouraging others. Showing Christ's love to our community isn't just wishing them well, it is serving like Christ. This is going to be an exciting year at Faith Church; come grow with us!
