Hey hey! I’m Amy Jay, a curious podcaster with a Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Master's in Medical Science. I’m fascinated by all things related to brains, and have recently come to explore the mind through self-discovery and holistic wellness. Through my podcast, I hope that you’ll learn how neuroscience and psychology are interrelated and that you will use this understanding to maximize your overall wellbeing. I invite you to grow with me as we discover what happens when Brain Meets Mind!
Have you ever been exceptionally productive at a coffee shop on a rainy day? Join me for a conversation on why white noise in the form of rain can help us tune out distractions and focus on our goals in the moment! For the first time ever, we explore clinical notes together - beginning with seasonal affective disorder, also known as seasonal depression. This one is a big step towards openly talking about mental health and using science to explain why it truly matters. I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as I loved creating it :)
