What is going on? edition. Is it us or is it them that don't get it? Is it the best of times or the worst of times? Does money grow on trees? Has the governments of Canada and the USA been complacent in creating wealth or destroying it?

Thomas Tass and Robert Dunlop discuss the ongoing distrust of information being disseminated by a supine media which becomes Orwellian when it acts as an echo chamber for the political elite in the G7. They act like a Cohort of Thieves that suggest day in and day out that the national economy is great.
That crime is down when it is not. That Democracy is strong when it is under attack. That Freedom of speech is alive and well when government censorship is on the rise.
That inclusiveness, diversity and equity brings brilliant results that serves everyone without any negative impact on anyone.
All the while food banks cannot keep up with demand, millions cannot afford proper housing, stores are closing because robbery and street crime has made sniveling politicized cowards out of the leadership of many in the law enforcement community.
Our social cohesion and our economic well is under terrible stress. The current leadership in the G7 is deeply disliked by the majority of people across the political spectrum. This year many election will see the dismissal of most of them and the future will be in the hands of new leadership that will find the people angry and broke.
How the new leadership will handle that reality will be next weeks discussion.

When established communities are up ended through flash changes to its economy, traditions and racial makeup trouble follows.
This is precisely what has been accelerated through the deliberate introduction of open borders in traditional migrant welcoming societies by a cabal of political elitists and their leftist social engineers in academia.

Its the middle of summer and the news ranges from bizarre to the questionable . Bob Dunlop and I went from commenting on the bizarre views of a Canadian professor on the need to display adult genitals to minors to the questionable demands of one country - the United States - to reveal the personal data of citizens held by another country - in this case Hungary. The content of news produced by the media in North America appears to be designed either titillate for bait clicks or obfuscate for political purposes. Neither is to objectively inform.
Thomas Tass, Editor BORDERPOL JOURNAL
After a two week hiatus, Thomas Tass and Robert Dunlop looked at the silly, the serious and the bizarre news items that happened while we were on vacation.
Some program items: Lawn darts were banned in many places because it was dangerous, but you can buy axe throwing kits from a drug store chain in Canada. The RCMP is being kicked out of Surrey BC, Canada. Politics on steroids where lies and money are at the root of the issue. Drug seizures at the US Canada border is on the rise in both directions. The US southern border according to the DHS is neither open or in crisis. EV cars, trucking company bankruptcies and John Kerry equating nuclear war with climate change
Corruption in government and the impact of undocumented migrant children on the public school system in the USA.
Father's Day 2023 in the middle of so many other days in June that mark so many other issues great and small.
Weekly news round up with analysis and observations by the editors of the BORDERPOL Journal. This week Canada's new passport is discussed along with general news on national security, the end of the Petro dollar, lousy global leadership and international migration management.
The end of Title 42 today May 11, 2023 and its impact. SITA's top ten travel trends thru airports for the next 10 years.
Bob and Tom interview with Internet Identity Card founder & CEO Michael Benaudis long time colleague and friend of BORDERPOL. Based in London, England. He talks about how digital technology has the power to transform our lives, but we must work together to ensure it enhances our dignity and rights, promotes equality, and increases our safety and security. Our actions today will have significant implications for future generations, and it is up to us to shape the course of history in a positive direction.
The week in review. Discussion on the events which impact borders, communities and human mobility.
The April Follies continue with social, economic and political impacts on human mobility world wide.
Aprils Fools Edition - One day early. Highlights: commercial UAV Expo, September 5-7, 2023 in Las Vegas, decline in moral within law enforcement community, mental illness and impacts on society, migration policy in 2023 is effectively "no policy" and why political class today is neither respected or liked by the majority of people.
This is about the Biden Trudeau meeting today and the announcement about how they intend to deal with the border issues.
The history of missing persons takes us back to November 1951 and looks at famous missing persons. The numbers the places the reports.
The week in review with focus on the declining situation of consumers in North America.
Earthquakes and politiciansThe 44th edition of the BORDERPOL JOURNAL focuses on this weeks issues from earthquakes to politicians, both of which are too many, too unpredictable and dangerous.
Year end broadcast from BORDERPOL co-hosted by Thomas Tass & Robert Dunlop with special guest Jon Holland, Program Director.
Commentary about Passenger Terminal World, SITA and the 20th anniversary of the founding of BORDERPOL. Invitation to law enforcement officials current and retired to join.
We talk about some of the narratives that MSM insists audiences listen too without asking too many questions. These include migration and border issues, Ukraine and refugees and the failing leadership of the western unipolar world that is no longer unipolar.
We talk about safe third country issues, the economy and mass migration, the energy vacuum and EU ideas on challenging it.
Snippet edition of the BORDERPOL Journal. Brief comments about the funeral of QEII and the ideas going forward for future editions of the broadcast/podcast.
What in the world is going on all around us these days? The winter of 2023 portents to be a very difficult one for millions of people around the world. Bob Dunlop and Thomas Tass kick it around as the head scratcher edition.
American Edition of the weekly discussion. BORDERPOL JOURNAL "American Edition" focusing on US southern border, ICE union problems, discrimination allegations at CBSA, policies and strategies on immigration that seem to make little sense.
Two items to conclude July 2022 from the BORDERPOL JOURNAL
Volodymyr Zelensky is not all he's portrayed as by Western media and why is the United States blundering into trouble with China?
Let’s start with the commentary of a very brave fellow, Sky News host and journalist Cory Bernardi from Australia said this a few days ago He said this “everything we are told, about the Russia Ukraine conflict should be taken with a huge dose of salt.”
Talk about swimming upstream!
Mr. Bernardi opines that if you believe the media spin that Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky is akin to second coming of Winston Churchill, the big savior of Western democracy then you may well be mistaken.
Now for the other “end of July” question.
Why is Ms. Pelosi Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives hell bent on going to the Republic of China - also known as Taiwan - at this moment in time? The last time an American of her rank went to ROC was 25 years ago.
Could it be that Taiwan, the worlds largest producer of computer chips is of specific interest to her? Or perhaps her husband Paul Francis Pelosi Sr. who owns and operates a venture capital investment and consulting firm and recently made news selling millions of dollars worth of NVIDIA stock ahead of the CHIP’s bill vote in Congress.
There is no mention of an official invitation from the Republic of China for her visit. In Google search just for fun type “What government official invited Ms. Pelosi to visit Taiwan?”

Bob and Tom discuss the ArriveCan app, the backlog of visas, the decline of service to Canadians, the trouble with NEXUS card issuing and the overall relationship between Canada and U.S. when reciprocity is an issue.
This is the first of a series of snippet essays delving into the world of the Wishful Thinkers.
Wikipedia defines wishful thinking “as the formation of beliefs based on what might be pleasing to imagine, rather than on evidence, rationality, or reality. It is a product of resolving conflicts between belief and desire.”
When national and international leaders move away from rationality, reality-based decisions, or fact-based sciences they become a club of “Wishful Thinkers”.
