A more grandiose, cinematic take on the original 1992 song from my favourite band.

It's about grief and isolation, and describes well that lonely headspace that comes with losing someone close that you often leaned on... Not because i'm miserable per se, but i love drama and find this relatable.

Thanks to my brother for his soulful saxophone work!

Inspired by a painting of the same same by August Macke. An ominous and foreboding synth-wave type piece.

Enjoy!

This song is (to me) about our need as people to stay alive on the inside and find truth within ourselves. To pursue ourselves and realise and embrace what we are in order to truly live... and the struggles that such a pursuit can present along the way.

To celebrate my love of Ayreon and the new album "Transitus" (released on the day i upload this), here is my loving stage musical-style cover of Comatose, from the '08 album "01011001".

Please comment and let me know what you think!

Here I attempt to channel and express what the past 7 months have been like in my mind. The chaos. Extreme highs and lows Having constant anxiety, struggling with low self-esteem and a complete lack of focus and control over my mind and emotions. Having extreme low mood met with euphoric highs and then back down with no warning.

Basically I’ve been kind of a mess (hence my long absence).

Personally, the past half year has been really tough. Many massive losses of different kinds - a real test of character and inner strength - this is my way of exorcizing the demons of this point in my life, in a way that is accurate and honest… but also a little fun

I don’t feel I can explain myself accurately here, but I’m sure the more empathic among you will at least relate and understand on some level.

This is a cover of "21st Century Cure", a track sung by the character known as Graverobber(Terrence Zdunich) in the fairly obscure 2008 goth-rock musical "Repo: The Genetic Opera". I was obsessed with this film upon release and wanted to pay tribute to it in time for its upcoming anniversary.

I've attempted to give it a grand-scale makeover, blending grandiose orchestral elements with tribal polyrhythms and sprinklings of Synth Wave textures, all whilst maintaining and respecting the theatrical, stage play-like aesthetic of the film.

This has been a labour of love for me over the past 3 months and is my first venture into performing, recording and mixing vocals!

I am extremely proud of this piece and believe it to be my best production to date!

Grief is an important thing to be able to process, and part of it is realising that whilst there is tragedy in loss, this is because something worth keeping was gained to begin with.

We are lucky to have lived with love in our lives.

We are lucky to have experienced the inspiration and compassion payed to us through the actions of others.

We are lucky to have been shown what we can be.

Through this realisation comes growth.

This is a piece about endeavouring to appreciate what we had, and the good it has done, in times of loss.

This piece is all about recovery of the human spirit. At the time of composing it my heart and mind had been very much wearied from various worries and pressure brought on by my current position in life, as well as guilt and sadness that i have been struggling to move on from. We all struggle to keep from braking and stay true to ourselves at one time or another. This is for anyone else going through similar struggles.

In this piece i have attempted to show how the ominous, melancholy intro motif can be given new life by adapting into a new musical environment, the same way that we all must strive to do in our daily lives.

Anyway, away with the cheese! It blends heavy grooves and a thick, cinematic timbre with a melodic and serene aesthetic. Hope that makes sense!

My first piano piece! I wanted to really delve into myself with this one, so to speak, and create an honest and intimate reflection of where i am in my life right now. Where my heart is, and the condition of my soul. Hopefully, that makes sense.

I hope it means something to someone else :)

My rendition of Ghost City, my favourite piece of music from one of my all time favourite movies, Ghost In The Shell.

In this scene there is no dialogue, and no central characters. It is simply the music accompanying shots of the film's environment. It says so much with such minimalism, and what it says i don't think can be put into words.

An Oriental chill track from my up coming release 'The Sentient Night'. (This track features my first start-to-finish, single take recording on the 6-stringed bass! AND MY RAINSTICK AND SINGING BOWL!)

Please enjoy this first preview track. And please don't hesitate to leave a comment! It helps knowing what you think! On a different note, can certain individuals please stop insulting me by Following me PURELY to attract me to their OWN accounts? It's a dick move, especially when you won't even comment on MY material which i have worked fucking hard on. I'm not stupid, and i can tell someone who appreciates my work from some shallow individual who's just after views or followers or whatever. GIVE OUT SOME LOVE AND RESPECT IF YOU EXPECT ANY RETURNED TO YOU! Those who DO appreciate my work though, remember, i know who you are and i appreciate your appreciation. Thankyou :)

Hi all! Here is my Tribal World piece "The Run".

This track was created using samples of instruments and sounds of different cultures and regions around the globe. The idea is that it ties the sounds of these cultures and regions together into a evolving, diverse and vibrant track, in a way that is seamless and consistent.

Basically, the track is "running" through cultures and music styles - literally - and YOUR the runner. (That's the intended perspective, anyway.)

Most of the sounds used were found on freesound.org. The rest were performed and recorded by myself.

ENJOY!

I've gotten much more to grips with Cubase' various functions in the time since my last track. Functions such as Automation e.g. the Transformer, the Step-Filter, and the Bitcrusher.

Hopefully, the you will hear the difference.

Enjoy folks! And, as always, any and all opinions are appreciated.
