Beautiful weather and good times and very good people out here in Washington DC. Rubbing elbows with the Big Wigs!
I was thinking about what to do and if I was going to get time to do it. Well, I did get to doing it and it's here. Thought of what Sassy Cat would like or listen to and along that train of thought I ended up stumbling across a couple of tunes from the past and decided to see if they could co-exist on the Deserted Island. So I mashed them up. Bobby Dylan and Jann Ardant. the Bobby D song is a rendition from a tribute album. If I find her name I will add it along.
SunDaysAgo is a flashback to a post I want to put out there again. I really liked this moment of capturing an idea and putting it to a tangible medium to share with others. Creativity to me is grasping a thought bubble and reeling it in and cranking it out for others to touch, feel, see or hear. #SunDaysAgo
Connect phone to computer go to iTunes and open iPhone then Apps, then Audioboom in the shared files section and the file with the large amount of MB's will probably be the one. Save to computer and listen.
Thanks #SassyCat for taking and making the time to keep Febooary rolling on. You are doing and have done a great job for the community. Thanks!
AudioJo Day 6 When we start to think like we are wiser then we probably are wiser hopefully it comes before you surrender to just being old. Hmm. Kind of a tough battle that works it's way into the thought process. #AudioJo
AudioJo is a Audio challenge for the month of January. A post a day for the month! Here on day 5 I found Daniel Periscoping from the Consumer Electronics Show and thought I would help him spread the word. Check out TPN.TV and what he finds. Interviews and products and what more can you want from the host of the award winning podcast show "The Audacity to podcast" #AudioJo
From the vault I found another gem recorded on my iPhone while visiting England Lori and Steve broke into a bit of Crazy. :)
Another from the vault that I came across is this belated birthday wish from #TheFonzaMundo playing his piano and singing with of course his wit and humor taking center stage. :)
From the Vault I found another gem. Albert H. sings a request with words changed up a bit for a special Valentine's message. #FromTheHipPodcast #AlbertH
One of the files I found in the depths of my hard drive while cleaning things up a bit. This is a real gem by Claire Randall singing You Got a Way.
Response to @KellMaster1 @TheFonzaMundo @MoeLucie Reposted from the #BlindAbilitiesChannel
Jeff gives a quick look at the low cost app called Audio Memos. An IOS app that can be set to start recording on opening of the app. With auto normalization and compression available this is not such a bad deal. Check it out.
I woke up just like any other day and then the morning literally crashed in. A Truck drove off the road and up an embankment for about 300 feet and tumbled and rolled off the retaining wall which at that point was about 20 feet tall and crashed onto the road rolling and settled on it's side. The lady behind him stopped her car and yelled for help. I called 911 and then went across the road with Justin and we did what we could. I reached up and tried the door and could not access the handle. Justin managed to climb on top of the sideways laying truck only to find out that the door was locked. Hammers pounded and the driver was seen to be ok but probably in shock. He was wearing a seat belt and the sirens were getting louder as Justin, my neighbor Justin and the lady driver who witnessed the event chatted and moved back. It was then that I hAs the police and rescue arrived I hit the record button on the @BossJockApp The driver seemed OK as I was told. I talked over a light copy and put the entire raw footage at the tail end.
Playing with #AmadeusPro on the #iMac and put down a track then another and there you have it. Interesting stuff meynerd!
Wear Headphones. Went about 3 some hours NorthEast to Barnes, Wisconsin to a cabin on Middle lake. Was just checking out the back woods as the clean up detail was in high gear and the Hi-way was starting to shift gears, too. Two squirrels were just a chirping away running from tree to tree. And me? I think I got out of a little work while doing this. :)
Sometimes we have the right answer right away and then we squander it away with self'doubt and laziness. Making choices can almost feel instinctual if you listen quickly.
Fitness and inspiration from #AlbertH with that book he suggested, Younger Next year. Gots me going and I like it!
Liquefying my morning and headed into the heat of the day. Hope y'all have a great day.
Checking out some x/y mics and the #Binaural #SoundProfessional in-ear mics. Quickie passenger train zooms into my #ZoomH4n.
Whilst traveling the carriage road Hail bombarded our vehicle only to be halted by a locomotive chugging along with time being of no matter. Lori freaked out, Katie sang, and what a better time to do a boom, eh? Some of the hail was nearly the size of... ummm, large, umm, grapes? Cherry tomatoes? Yeah, cherry tomatos.
A little timeline of life. Maybe I only get it but it's my life and we all got our clock ticking.
Out in the Man Cave, Jeff's Egotistical Fantastical Fortress, un-screwing the Candy Dispensers in preparation for sanding, staining and a finish called Tung Oil. #TungOil comes from a bush/Nut/Seed from the Tung Tree mostly found in China. This is hand work and this is all part of making each Candy Dispenser or anything I make, One-of-A-Kind.
Audiomo just seems to be a good or let me say a great kick in the ass! Thanks Ernie. And a big thanks to #AlbertH for the pair of socks. :)
The book War of Art is really insightful and like the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull, both books focus on reaching your higher potential. Just a chat on a bench over looking Locke Lake using the #SoundProfessional #Binaural #Mics and the #ZoomH1 Handi-recorder.
Too Blue Tuesday will be my Tuesday's Audiomo submissions. #KebMo #JohnnyLange #JohnLeeHooker #BuddyGuy #FentonRobinson
A little or more than a little ramble about being in the midwest. The Heart of America, the Bread basket of the states and the good old Mid-West. Oh, and some ramble over coffee on the deck.
A little ramble about my visit to my daughters and remembering not to tan my ankles with my socks on. LOL
The AudioBoom Team has initiated an AudioBoom Beta Testing team for the Visually Impaired/Blind Community. In an effort to enhance the end-user experience the AudioBoom Team has reached out to have the "experts" of the Voiceover and accessibility users of the AudioBoom App on the iPhone. This is a great new beginning for the relationship between AudioBoom and the Blind/Visually impaired community
Walking along East River Road near the Great Mississippi River passing the dam and marching on towards the train tresel. It's only 36 egrees and it's nearly all up hill. #ZoomH1 #SoundProfessional #BinauralMics
@JThompson6835 on Twitter Marching On Theme. Walk down to the Mississippi River around Locke Lake and to the Burlington Northern/Soo Line Railroad tresel. Thoughts about this and that and the other thing, too.
Marching On theme. Went down to the Creek leading to the Mississippi River in Fridley Minnesota.
Cutting some fabric and cutting the cost of making my office/studio better for #sound #recording
Marching on through the different stages and relationships. We keep moving on and some things and people just don't make it on for the ride; however, I still take the best of them with me in my mind. Just Interesting sometimes. Oh, then there is that Dentist.

Cranking up my 1906 #Victrola Talking Machine with a 1949 MGM Schlack recording from Hank Williams. Hank sings "Never Again Will I Knock at Your Door."
Alittle ramble about people that I think about when I wonder about something. What would George say? Or something like that. I still here my Dad's voice telling me things in a certain kind of way. No, I am not hearing voices but their influences are there.
Audioboom has just informed us of the deployment of the fix for VoiceOver users and more.
Listening to the train while someone sneaks up behind you can be louder than the train! LOL
@RoosterLoop put out a little diddy and Little Dude decided to cut it with his Band #ABitOfFun
Donna raised her own 2 guide dogs and sings beautifully whether amongst her friends jamming on the weekend or just for fun.
With permission a collection of laughter from an original #Fidunn Audioboo. She can make you laugh. #BVIAudio
