The Flat season is nearing its end as we move into October but there's plenty of action still to look forward to this month as the lads preview some top-class racing this coming weekend at Newmarket, Ascot and Redcar.
Tom, Joey and Jack begin with a recap of the weekend's racing at Longchamp and Newmarket, assessing the outstanding performance of Arc winner, Ace Impact, and all the other Group 1 action that took place.
The lads then look forward to this coming weekend, previewing the feature Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket, as well as offering their usual best bets with Tom and Jack both proving successful with their best selections last weekend.
Jack also has a 100/1 fancy in Redcar's feature 2yo Trophy on Saturday as well as a 25/1 selection for next year's 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.
Tom Bull returns alongside regulars Joey and Jack with a special guest ahead of Paris Longchamp this weekend, French Racing expert Jordan Hopkins.
The guys preview the Arc de Triomphe in detail and there's the usual best bets and tips for the weekend. Ahead of the 2020 Cheltenham Festival, Nick Luck had Nicky Henderson on his show to look ahead to some of the trainer's Festival prospects.
Lydia Hislop and Ruby Walsh are at Cheltenham to unpick some of the latest clues in the Festival picture, while Lydia also gets to talk to Martin Greenwood and Andrew Meanor, the men responsible for putting the weights together for the big Festival handicap prizes. Johnny and Dukey have been on the circuit this week - the Cheltenham Preview Night (TM) circuit - with tales to tell from Leixlip on Tuesday night, and some exclusive, smuggled audio to boot, featuring Gordon Elliott, Eddie O'Leary and Oakley Brown, who is eyeing a big ride in the Martin Pipe. Not only do we have their naps but we have handicap naps for the Festival from The King, Kevin O'Ryan, Jane Mangan and Donn McClean - with three of them tipping the same horse! Fran Berry has his usual Dundalk lock of the week and both Dukey and Johnny have weekend fancies at Leopardstown - Dukey's local track given his admission that he, in fact, still lives with his mother.
