Special Message for Shrewsbury First Assembly from Greg Hubbard
Since 1985, Greg & Robyn have partnered with pastors and local churches for souls and revival. Their passion is to see lost people becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus, and for every believer and church to be revived and refreshed, with a fresh vision to reach their communities. A heavy emphasis in every service is placed upon time around the altar whether it be for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, healing, breakthrough, or just reaching out to The Lord in prayer.
A normal schedule would have services beginning on a Sunday morning and continuing each night through Tuesday or Wednesday. Along with the preaching of the Word, Robyn provides anointed music ministry along with her and our keyboard player leading the extended altar times.

God Brought Increased Blessing into Hannah’s Life. What have you done with the blessing?
You've heard it, "hashtag blessed". It's not enough for us to just claim the blessing. We must live our lives in such a way that God can actually bless us. Pastor Timothy Harris helps us understand what our own cry for blessing should be in our lives- "I want and need the presence and favor of God upon my life!"

God's voice is the only truth we should be listening to. God's word is the only reading we should do.
Each new year brings new hopes, dreams, and expectations. We begin our Janurarys off wondering how this year will turn out, hoping it will be better than the last. We go headstrong into the new year making plans and setting goals. Like most years they start out steady, only until we hit the first few bumps, then we start losing hope. We have no guarantee for what one year will be. How can we hold on to that hope that the year will be good? How will you live in 2021 what will keep that faith and hope alive all year long?
Have you ever longed for something new? We refer to Christmas as a season, when in reality it's really only a single day. Each year we tend to put more pressure on what Christmas is. We have forgotten that Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Messiah. Luke 2:22-38 we read that when Jesus was born there were two people who automatically recognized Him as our Messiah. They were longing for Him to appear, they were looking for Him, preparing for His arrival. They knew the importance of what the Messiah would do. God had promised us a new Christmas let us remember him each Christmas.
Life is Filled with the Unexpected, it can be scary even if we plan for everything. More times than not things go wrong. Walking with God we are affirmed in the fact that God is Faithful to His People in the Midst of the Unexpected, Nothing Is Unexpected to God he knows all the plans for us we should trust in him. Let’s trust God with our lives in the midst of the unexpected!
Are you ever feeling inconvenienced? Christmas is filled with all kinds of inconveniences, for 4 weeks out of the year we are running around trying to make things perfect. Shopping for gifts, baking all our favorite treats, planning family dinners, stopping to decorate for the holiday. By the time the holidays are over, we feel rundown and tired. Christmas isn't always convenient, and yet each year we only try to top the year before. When we think about Christmas we sometimes forget through all the presents and treats that Jesus came during this time, and with him brought a lot of inconveniences. Though the birth of Jesus turned Mary and Josephs's lives upsidedown, The benefits and blessings of Jesus’ coming far outweigh any inconvenience.
Are you always trying to plan the perfect Christmas but find yourself disappointed year after year? What is the trouble with Christmas? Each year we are striving the create the perfect Christmas and we are often left feeling depressed, let down by our plan of what we think a perfect Christmas is. The reality of Christmas is that so many find themselves alone, there's no money for gifts, no time for family, we so often dream of a perfect Christmas only to find ourselves in trouble. This year especially we are all going to be asking: what will Christmas be like in 2020? Most times it seems people forget the true meaning of December 25th, and that on Christmas day our Savior was born. We often forget that Jesus was born into a world of trouble, and still even born into trouble no one could stop the plan of GOD. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This Christmas season let's remember what we should be celebrating, and let's trust God with our lives even in the midst of trouble.
Pastor Fogel is no stranger to SFA, having served us as interim pastor in 2015. His preaching is always inspirational and challenging! We are glad for the opportunity to have him and his wife, Waltraud minister to us.
It's Missions Sunday and we will have Dave & Cheryl Greco with us!
The Greco's work with AGWM Multi-Ethnic Mobilization, connecting AGWM with each of our U.S. Language Districts and Nationally recognized Ethnic Fellowships. Their focus is on mobilizing the churches from each of our ethnic, language, and cultural communities to develop a missionary culture that results in supporting and sending world missionaries.
Living as a Community of Faith isn't as easy as it might seem. We get distracted, take things for granted, forget what really matters. We have built our Community of Faith and surrounded it with blocks. Are these building blocks firm enough? What essentials are needed now to be a blessing to others? Through The Word of God we are able to find righteousness. With Prayer and Worship, we are able to receive mercy and find grace in our time of need. Through Holiness, we are able to live life God's way! Be a blessing to one another especially in this time, come together as a Community of Faith, and show others the privilege we have in walking with Him.
Pastor Harris continues our series in the book of Nehemiah, "Building a Community of Faith". Are you willing to be a Peacemaker in this Community? Together we are building walls of unity surrounding our community of faith. Unity is built upon focus & purpose, unity flows out of compassion, unity seeks to serve others. Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God. Are you a child of God, and help build this community of faith?
Building in the Face of Opposition: Pastor Harris continues through Nehemiah. Are you staying on your guard? God wants us to stand firm with him, to be confident in him, to continue walking with him. As a Community of Faith we need to stand together in the face of opposition, we need to respond to the attacks of the enemy. God tells us there is no need to be discouraged, or intimidated. Let's keep building, and continue God's work with all our hearts.
Pastor Harris continues our series in the book of Nehemiah, "Building a Community of Faith". What Part are you playing in building this community? He's looking for people who are willing, who will partner together with God, and who will get the job done! Here am I, Lord...send me; use me to build whatever part of the wall you need me to build.

What does a city filled with life look like? What about a city attractive to others? That would be a city, filled with God's presence.
When the Israelites returned from Babylon, they couldn't just go back to "normal". We find ourselves heading into a similar situation. What does God want to say to us in this season for life after the pandemic? In "After The Exile: Living for God In the New Normal!" Pastor Harris will preach a series based upon the books of Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.

What's the biggest complaint about the church, from the outside? Hypocrites. Well, It's Time to Walk the Talk. We cannot live just any way we like-- we are called to cut out of our lives anything that leads us back into sin.
Do you find you try to fix yourself, try to become the best version of yourself? It's exhausting, isn't it? There's nothing you and I can do on our own to rid ourselves of sin, to change the tendencies of our human nature. We need an extreme makeover, from the inside out. And that's what God promised us through his Son Jesus.

God gives a message through Zechariah to His people. Through these visions He describes the blessings that He has for his people, blessings that were always meant to be theirs; if they would return home. It's Time to Return Home! In this season of the pandemic, how do we follow God in the New Normal? How can we prepare for life when this is all over?

Resurrection Sunday! It's Not The End! There is a living hope, life-changing hope, and a lasting hope in Jesus.
The Saddest Day of Jesus' Life! We wave our palms and sing Hosanna, but what about that moment just before Jesus entered Jerusalem? He looked out over the city and wept-- not for himself, but for what was, what could have been, and what was coming. Jesus is not in heaven crying out, "I told you so!" Jesus' heart is still broken over the pain and sorrow that is upon us in our world. He wants to rescue us.
In this week's message, Pastor Timothy Harris unpacks what it means to be an ALL-IN Disciple, in part two of the series.
What makes someone a follower of Jesus? Going to church? Donating money to good causes? Offering, and Tithes? Trying to be a good person? What really Does it mean to be a follower of Christ?
The answer is actually much simpler: all of us in discipleship as followers of Jesus. In this message, Pastor Tim Harris outlines exactly the cost of discipleship, the commitment of discipleship, surrendering our lives to him.
