Episode Invitation: Share part of your testimony with someone you don't know or encourage someone else to share their testimony you have never heard.
Episode Invitation: Ask God to show you what it means to live your life seeing everyone around you as someone God wants to be in his kingdom, no matter what they look like now.
Ask God to help you see your part in this plan and how you can do that.
Episode Invitation: Invite Jesus’ Kingdom power and presence into whatever circumstances that you are in right now.
Episode Invitation: Ask God to show you that Jesus and His Kingdom is worth everything.
If you are holding onto anything that is keeping you from entering the Kingdom of God and fully receiving all that God has for you, let go of it.

John 10:10 My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Luke 12:31 -32 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.
Episode Invitation: Where do you need freedom? Cry out to Jesus and welcome His rule and reign over your life.
1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Galatians 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery
Episode Invitation: Pay attention as you pray:
Jesus, help me seek and treasure your Kingdom and your righteousness first. I want to live in and under God’s rule and reign in every way. I want to see your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Episode Invitation: A prayer based on two verses in Matthew 6. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness:
“Jesus help me seek and treasure your Kingdom and your righteousness first. I want to live in and under the rule and reign of your Kingdom. Open my eyes to see and my heart to receive your Kingdom and your righteousness. Amen.”
Episode Invitation: Pray the words “Come, Holy Spirit” and notice God’s lavish generosity, His eagerness and ability to help, and His deep desire to be with us.

Love others and put yourself into circumstances that require the Holy Spirit to do what you can’t.
Episode Invitation: Be as brave as Bartimaeus was and sit in God’s presence and tell Him what you want Him to do for you.
Isaiah 53: 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
Episode Invitation: Practice listening to God for others and sharing what He gives you, so they can be strengthened, encouraged, and comforted.
- 1 Corinthians 14:3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging, and comfort.
- 1 Corinthians 14:1-3 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.
Episode Invitation: Listen to the Holy Spirit and respond to whatever He is revealing to you right now.
Episode Invitation: Reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and note the joy you feel in knowing He is Risen! Express that joy to Jesus.

Episode Invitation:
- Find a place where you can sit alone with God.
- Ask God to show you how he’s working in your life and what losses will ensue. Or remember a time in the past when you lost a part of your false self.
- Ponder those losses. Pay attention to them. Feel them. See how important they are—and then choose to lose your plans, your dreams, your security, your safety.
- Ask God to give you a glimpse of the new you he’s creating, of the joy that is to come when you see how God is transforming you.
- Say goodbye to what you’re losing and thank God for what new things he’s building in you.
Episode Invitation: Ask Jesus to show you if there are members of the body that you value higher and/or lower than others. Talk with Jesus about this and invite a trusted person into that conversation.
Episode Invitation: Share with someone what God has done in your life, what He is doing now, and what you desire for Him to do you in you.
Bible Study Tip: As you read the Bible notice those good things that stand out that you desire to have in your life, and pray for God’s transformation.
Episode Invitation: Ask the Holy Spirit to help you see pride and selfish ambition in contrast to humility and how they affect your relationships. Then, ask God to show you a specific way(s) that you can do what Philippians 2:3-4 say: “…in In humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others”
Episode Invitation: Allow God and others into your pain and let them share in your suffering. Ask God to point out others who are suffering and how you can share in their suffering.
Episode Invitation: Ask God to help you see your past, present and future circumstances in the light of God’s Sovereignty. Pray for and come along side those who are in the middle of hard circumstances.
Episode Invitation: Resolve to practice reading scripture with an “us” lens. Begin with Philippians 1:6 by asking Jesus to show you the good works in us that He has started.
Episode Invitation: Share your experience of the Bible with those around you

- If you do read the bible, tell others about recent ways you have encountered God through scripture.

In the end…
We will be Your people and You will dwell with us. You will satisfy our holy longing and our righteous thirst. You will heal and transform my body into a glorified one. You will prepare an eternal home and country to which I truly belong. There will be no more pain or death and You will wipe away every tear. Every nation, tribe, language, and people will worship You. You will make all things new.

Daniel 10:12 - …first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard,

Episode Invitation: Ask yourself, where (or in whom) are you putting your hope?
Pray like Daniel
Humble yourself and ask for forgiveness and mercy. Acknowledge God’s righteousness and faithfulness. Trust in God’s ability and desire to answer prayer. Know and hold onto God’s promises from scripture and prophetic words.
Episode Invitation: 1 Corinthians 14:1 "Pursue love and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy."
Open yourself to have Holy Spirit communicate to you through prophecy. Pursue loving others by exercising the gift of prophecy.
Episode Invitation: Read this verse and let this future shape your life on Earth.
Daniel 7:14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
Episode Invitation: Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Come to the throne of grace. There you will not only find God’s help, but you will find relationship.
Episode Invitation: Reflect on the ways God has pursued you. Express your gratitude and honor Him for that. Invite Jesus into any places of pride in your life that are keeping you from true worship.
Episode Invitation: Reflect on both times of blessing and times of pain in your life, where you experienced the faithfulness of God. Talk to God about painful times in your life that may have caused you to question that God is faithful.
Ask God to show you what thing(s) in your life are testing your faithfulness or keeping you from loving Him above all else?
Episode Invitation: Reflect on how good God THE KING is and yield all of yourselves to Him. Then, ask God to show you anything that you worship other than Him and turn from that “god“.
Episode Invitation: Spend some time in quiet contemplation asking "Is there something that God is asking me to decide, to resolve, to do or not do?
Episode Invitation: Prayerfully Reflect on this question- Has my love for others increased in the last 12 months ?
John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
Episode Invitation: Pray for Jesus to continue leading us a church in being ”the light of the world.” Ask the Holy Spirit to show you if there are ways you are covering up the light. Repent and get prayer if so.
Episode Invitation: Ask God to show you what His heart for the Nations is. Look for His invitations as you read His word this week. If you feel some tug from the Holy Spirit, talk to Him about it. There are so many ways to engage!
Episode Invitation:
What spiritual lies keep you from receiving God’s love and gifts? What spiritual lies keep you from bringing God’s love and gifts to others?
Ask God to show you what is true and how to stand against the lies that oppose that truth.
Episode Invitation: Ask yourself what you believe about spiritual gifts? Sit before God with your beliefs. Ask Him to show you areas that may need a different perspective.
Then read through 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 and consider how it describes the way you view the church. Can you substitute “I” for “love” or “it?” Talk to God about that.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not selfish, and it cannot be made angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it. Love is never happy when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth. Love never gives up on people. It never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits. (ERV)

How much do you desire to fall more deeply in love with Jesus? What is one step you will take this week to seek Jesus?

Ephesians 3:16-17 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Episode Invitation: Take some time this week to sit with one of your deaths, losses or disappointments and see how or if you have progressed through each of these steps from the Passover to Pentecost.
Become willing to share where you are in this journey with God and with some trusted friends. Come back next week ready to embrace the truth that there is a New Spirit that is specifically designed to help you live well in the New Life that is already here.

Welcome Jesus into where you really are. Into your loss and your hope, trusting in Him and what He has promised Allow others who love you to come into your process of grief.

Acknowledge and name your loss Acknowledge and name your new life Welcome God into both of these things

Episode Invitation: As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit." (John 20:21 -22)
Be filled with Holy Spirit and ask Jesus to help you see others as He does. Say “yes” and go to wherever or to whoever God sends you.

Ask God, “Do I understand?” Ask for healing. Embrace the idea of serving.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you see people and as He does. Ask the Holy Spirt to help see where God is working, and what is your part in what He doing. (what do I say do or give) Ask the Holy Spirit to empower whatever you do, so Jesus is revealed personally to the person.

Do this with God, not as an assignment from God. Move closer, look deeper, and see the person as yourself. Understand that this way of seeing others is for them and for you. “We experience and grasp God’s mercy for us as show God’s mercy to others”
Episode Invitation: Spend some time in prayer with God and ask Him to show you how much He wants to be with you. Not just sometimes, not just until He gets tired of you.
But like this: Never leaving you. Never abandoning you. Never forgetting you. ALWAYS with you!
Episode Invitation: Meditate on Luke 12:13-34 and talk to Jesus about your fears related to money. Ask Him to help you grasp what He means when He says “Your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.”
Yield all that you are and all that you have to God. Give what you have as an expression of your love and trust in God.

Check your theology, it's better than you can imagine. Trust God, it's His plan. Prepare to respond.

Pay attention to injustice in the world. Ask God to help you see it with his eyes and heart. Ask God what he wants you to do to seek justice and mercy.
Episode Invitation: Spend some time in prayer and tell Jesus "I welcome you to show me my heart when I see others through condemnation". Ask for His help to bring change and growth to that area.
Episode Invitation: Read Colossians 3:12 "As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." Pray for the gift of mercy and to be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Episode Invitation: Continue reading Psalm 23 and memorizing it. Listen to the song "The Goodness of God" and meditate on the words with your new understanding of Pslam 23.

Moving yourself toward Jesus: Continue Memorizing Psalm 23. Talk to Jesus about any fears you have of being led by Him.
Moving others toward Jesus: Notice the difference in your ability to love others and how it correlates to your inward peace or anxiety. Give more time each day for Jesus to refresh your soul.
Episode Invitation: Moving yourself towards Jesus: Start memorizing Psalm 23 this week, and meditate on the words as you recite them. Focus on verse one, asking “Is this declaration true for me?” Moving others towards Jesus: Start your days by bringing your whole self to Jesus. Welcoming Him into any need you have and asking Him to lead you in all your choices throughout the day.
Episode Invitation: Read Ephesians 1:5 and Romans 8:15-16 and reflect on God choosing to adopt you and make you part of His family. Ask Him to help you feel that belonging and walk in that truth with new confidence.
Episode Invitation: Read Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Reflect on the following:
You are uniquely made by God Christ's Spirit dwells in you You can join with Jesus in what He is doing on earth
Episode Invitation: Moving yourself toward Jesus: Fully receive God's forgiveness and righteousness. Moving others toward Jesus: Tell others your story of receiving God's forgiveness and righteousness. "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors as though God were making his appeal through us."
We talked about a lot of things during our Fall 2021 sermon series called Love University, but there were some questions from our church family that deserved some more time for discussion. In this Q&A session, Caleb Chou, Dannielle Strassner, and David Stark from our Teaching Team sit down to talk through some of those questions to provide more depth and insight on topics such as how to view boundaries in relationships and what to do with people who hurt people you love.
Episode Invitation- Pray this throughout the week, " Holy Spirit, show me how I can express my faith through love right now." Then, do what He shows you to do.
Episode Invitation- Tell Jesus you want your love to increase then walk through each of these four areas (Be open, be invested, be stretched, be rooted) and ask: 1) What comes easily and how can I help others in those areas? 2) Where do I get stuck and what is Jesus saying about that?
Episode Invitation- Read John 13:35. Commit to love God (your Heavenly Father) and one another (your brothers and sisters).
Episode Invitation- Spend time asking Jesus how you can better love through your words, actions and prayers both immediate and extended family and people that you are close to and don't know well.
Episode Invitation- Ask God to show you how you really feel about the idea of loving every person like He does. Then, ask Him to help lead and teach you how to love the way He does. Finally, ask Him if there is a particular person or people that He wants you to show love or focus in on this week.
Episode Invitation: Read through 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 and ask Jesus to show you a person you are not loving the way He would and ask Him to show you how to love them better.
Episode Invitation: Read Mark 4:1-20 then check out our Youtube (VCCSTL) and try out one or all of our Love University Labs.
Episode Invitation: Ruminate on Proverbs 4:23 "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" and then spend this week allowing God to search your heart. Respond by bringing God's light into places of darkness and letting in more of the things He has for you.
Episode Invitation: 1. Ask God to bring to mind something good that has happened to you or around you. 2. Express gratitude for that. 3. Think carefully about what happened and ask what risks were taken by those involved in that work. 4. Ask God what kinds of risks He wants you to take to love others and invite Jesus to walk you through that.
Episode Invitation: Moving ourselves toward Jesus: Ask God to show you someone He wants you to love. When He does, notice how you react inside. What pulls you away from loving this other person? What propels you toward loving this person? Moving others toward Jesus: Then ask God to help you die to your fear, ambition, and need for control and to love that person in specific, concrete ways. then act as your true self and give that other person the love he or she needs.
Episode Invitation: Moving yourself toward Jesus: Memorize Galatians 5:22-23 Moving others toward Jesus: With Galatians 5:22-23 in mind, yield to the Holy Spirit, desiring God's love to come through you as you interact with others.
Episode Invitation: Moving yourself toward Jesus: Give some time everyday to be honest with God about what you need and what hurts and allow Him to care for you.
