This episode outlines how Jesus' command to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15) is outworked within our church community and ways that you can be encouraged to partner with us in seeing the gospel lived out through your own life.

This is part of an episode that was recorded on Christmas Eve 2023. Ps Ken has just read from the text:
Matthew 2:1-18 NLT Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, 2 “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.”
3 King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was everyone in Jerusalem. 4 He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law and asked, “Where is the Messiah supposed to be born?”
5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they said, “for this is what the prophet wrote:
6 ‘And you, O Bethlehem in the land of Judah,
are not least among the ruling cities of Judah,
for a ruler will come from you
who will be the shepherd for my people Israel.”
7 Then Herod called for a private meeting with the wise men, and he learned from them the time when the star first appeared. 8 Then he told them, “Go to Bethlehem and search carefully for the child. And when you find him, come back and tell me so that I can go and worship him, too!”
9 After this interview the wise men went their way. And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! 11 They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
12 When it was time to leave, they returned to their own country by another route, for God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod.
The Escape to Egypt
13 After the wise men were gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up! Flee to Egypt with the child and his mother,” the angel said. “Stay there until I tell you to return, because Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.”
14 That night Joseph left for Egypt with the child and Mary, his mother, 15 and they stayed there until Herod’s death. This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken through the prophet: “I called my Son out of Egypt.”
16 Herod was furious when he realized that the wise men had outwitted him. He sent soldiers to kill all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, based on the wise men’s report of the star’s first appearance. 17 Herod’s brutal action fulfilled what God had spoken through the prophet Jeremiah:
18 “A cry was heard in Ramah—
weeping and great mourning.
Rachel weeps for her children,
refusing to be comforted,
for they are dead.”
Most people will experience some form of setback in life. Our own Australian culture often praises the efforts of people who persevere through adversity by affectionately referring to them as ‘The Aussie Battler’.
In today’s podcast, Ps Ken explores how God works through the raw material of our brokenness and then leads us to a place of renewed reliance, faith and trust in Him.
Worship is not a genre or a slow song, but a response from ourselves to who God is.
Peter Kinsella shares with us the meaning behind the Magi’s gifts, and how they relate to the way we can confidently worship Jesus Christ as our King and Priest.
True worship to God comes from a heart filled with love and out of true worship comes a revelation of God.
In this podcast, Ps Steve looks at what it means to be a living sacrifice to God.
We live at a time in history where self-preservation is king; living through a pandemic has a tendency to do that! God's heart is that we would find true contentment in Him and in the gift of His Son - King Jesus!

In this week's podcast we are joined by our very special guest Ps Michael Golden from Ignite Church INC in Cowra.
Ps Michael shares some great and timely insights into the 'End Time' harvest that is spoken of in Revelation 7 and how we will see the 'middle ground' narrow as this time draws closer. As darkness continues to increase in our world, the true light of the gospel will shine even brighter!
However good or indifferent our experiences in Christ have been, we can't afford to just settle where things are comfortable and reminisce of days now past. We must be willing to step out in faith again and again to see the Spirit of God continue to impact our lives, our culture, our families and friends and indeed our world!

In today's podcast, Pastor Steve challenges us with the words of Jesus found in John 4:35 "lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!"
The writer of proverbs said that "There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death." Proverbs 14:12 .It is therefore imperative that we find ourselves walking on the right pathway. But in addition to this, how do we effectively lead others onto following that right path? Join us as Ps Ken explores the pathways that we are presented with in life, and how we can better lead people to following the right path.
"Conceived conclusions blind effective communication"
Everyone has something to say, but at times we can all be guilty of drawing conclusions before people have finished what they have to say. Even when they have finished speaking, our own conclusions can blind us to what they were actually trying to communicate.
Ps Steve shares the story of the man born blind [John 9] and shows us how the scribes and Pharisees couldn't receive the healed mans testimony as they were focused on the wrong thing.
When it comes to listening, there is no denying that it is a learned skill. Those of us with full functioning hearing can have little problem hearing what someone might be saying, however actively listening to what is being communicated requires thought, effort and practice.
Are you a good listener? Can you listen to someone while resisting the urge to jump in and cut them off or even finishing off their sentences? As revealed in much of the bible, hearing is often emphasised as being more important than speaking. Join us in this podcast as Mark challenges us to be better listeners.
If the last couple of years have taught us anything, it is the need to be able to respond and communicate appropriately to the events of life we have limited to no control over.
In today's podcast, Ps Ken begins by addressing the need for Christians to remain agile and resourceful in order that they can find common ground with all people regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds. He then looks at the life of the Apostle Paul and offers us examples in the way in which he sought to find common ground with all people, regardless of the situation or setting he found himself in.
Ps Ken then presents us with 5 keys that we can apply to our own lives when we are looking to make a better connection with the people that we encounter in life.
In today's podcast titled "Intentions are not Effective Communication" Ps Steve McKenzie talks about the need for us to put our good ideas and intentions into action!
It's one thing for the Holy Spirit to place promptings within our heart, but we must also be willing to follow through on those promptings with action. Ps Steve also touches on how repentance paves the way for communication with God.
Where is your heart and head at when it comes to connecting with people? Do you feel inconvenienced, uncomfortable, awkward, lack confidence, or perhaps you're the type of person that has no trouble starting a conversation with a complete stranger?

Finding out where you belong ultimately comes down to how you wrestle with another question, namely, to whom do you belong? This week, join us as Ps Ken shares that our identity is not found in titles, vocations, family of origin, or even our acts of service for Christ, but it is revealed in our 'being' in Christ. This is our last sermon in our IDENTITY series. We trust that series has encouraged your faith.
The Bible is awash with story after story of people who had either lost their focus on the things of God, or who never had their focus on the things of God in the first place, and in many cases, we read of the documented downfall that followed such people.
Join us as Ps Ken reminds us that our new identity is in Christ, and that God is our helper, defender, our protector and shield!
As a person who identifies with Jesus, we want to be pleasing to Him. Part of this involves us living our lives with credibility.
Paul encourages his readers with these words in Colossians 1:10 "Then the way you live will always honour and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while you will grow as you learn to know God better and better."
If our identity is in Jesus, the only way we will have credibility is if we are to believe that Jesus is the only truth. Join us as Ps Steve explores the link between our credibility and our identity as believers in Jesus Christ.
