Hello And welcome back to Revelation Read along on
Moments with Moni
Today is Chapts 11-13 instead of the seventh trumpet, we have an interlude
Chapter 11 of Revelation opens with the Two Witnesses that some say mark the middle of the Tribulation, some say its just the beginning. So listen to the Scriptures carefully.
Chapter 12 The Woman and the Dragon are introduced and defined, as well as Satan who is thrown down to the earth after a fight with the archangel Michael.
Chapter 13, at this moment in the timeline of God’s written History of mankind (Remember God is outside of TIME, so He already knows our future happenings) we see the first and second Beast which usher in:
A one world government.
A one world Religion
A one world Economy
Amen….Here we go….

Last week we left off in the Revelation Read Along series in Chapters 4 & 5. We saw what looked like the Church being called into heaven and all the goings on in heaven with the elders around the throne of God.
This week in chapters 6-10 we see things going on in Heaven that are directed towards the earth and those on the Earth.
It is the beginning of the Seal Judgements with only ONE that is worthy to open the seals that are on the scroll….none other than Jesus Christ Himself.
The first seals are of what many consider the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. However remember the Book of Revelation opens with the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Apocalypse means Revelation.
The first four seals are broken and the written judgement is unleashed on a world of unrepentant people who have been warned time and time again of what was coming.
The first horse is a white horse with a rider on it. Don’t make the mistake of thinking the good guy is coming, this is the Anti Christ, one who mimics Jesus for his own gain.
Now that stage is set, let’s listen in and read along through Revelation chapters 6-10. For those who have an ear, let Him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches, for we are still here on earth, for such a time as this, before the unleashing of this great unleashing of judgement on mankind’s rebellion.

Welcome back to Revelation Read Along. Last week we started a Revelation Read Along that has been well received. Perhaps you are all looking for the blessing promised in this Book for listening to and obeying it.

The Book of Revelation comes with a blessing to those who read it and to those who listen to it, and to those who do what it says. I need a blessing and thought you might like one too. So grab your copy and read along. Let the words speak to your heart and guide you. Time to shake off the shackles of fear or ridicule when it comes to reading this book for the time is near.
Apocalypse simply means revealing or unveiling. Who is being revealed? Jesus is being revealed and He is the one doing the revealing. It is not apocrypha, which means something hidden.
If God is concerned enough about telling us what is, what was, and what is to come, then shouldn't we find out what it is? That was a rhetorical question, the answer is yes!

Does the weight of the world weigh you down? Have you ever thought about the weight of the armor that we as true believers are to be putting on daily? It's been quite the week with an assaination attempt, and yet God's mercy stands strong. We are in a spirtual battle, not playing in a play ground or walking through life in bunny slippers. Keeping our head on a swivel and using the armor we have been provided with by the power of the Holy Spirt protects us in these spiritual battles. Don't forget, the war has already been won. Jesus is already the Victor and is now asking us to take part in the battle to reconcile mankind to Himself. As we bow in prayer to battle, remember we are not battling against flesh and blood but against our spiritual enemy, that old deluder Satan who wants to undermine the foundation of the authority of the Holy Scriptures. Let's put that armor on, and stand together in prayer in these last days of the Church Age, as the Laodecian church emerges and is preparing for the the Great Apostasy on the horizon.
Easy quote to share:
The current definition of Progressive Christianity by David Alcott:
"The current western spiritual ZIETGEIST< (ZEITGEIST is kind of the world view of the Age) wrapped in moralistic/ therapeutic panantheism (Richard Rohr) that openly rejects theological authority and accuracy of the Bible, while at the same time identifying as Christians and followers of Jesus, with no essential Doctrines."

Part 2 of my Cancer Journey picks up just before the first Cancer center visit.
Buffy, my oncology infusion nurse, got me all checked in and ready to send down the hall. Upon arriving, my mouth and tongue went numb and tingly from smelling the chemicals. This can't be a good sign, if I'm having an allergic reaction already!
Not to worry, the pre chemo cocktail was full of anti everything drugs. They also got me comforatable in a chair, with a warm blanket and a cup of ice chips. Thankfully my husband was there the entire time and watched over everything. I hope sharing my story will someone out there. God is good all the time, even during chemo roller coaster rides.
The song at the end of the Podcast is one my husband and I wrote and performed many times. It's called, "The Test"

In Chapters 1-3, the Apostle Paul shared the Theological Doctrines important for the Ephesians, as well as for believers today. Chapter 4 begins the application of those Theological truths in a a practical way. We are urged to "put off" the old man and "put on" the new, to be continually washed in the water of the Word so that our viewpoint of self is transformed. In so doing, we become a productive part of the Body that works together as a whole. God's viewpoint of prepping the Body is different than the main stream media. Being heavenly minded gives us boldness as we walk in this demon possesed world, because we know this world is not the end. There is much treasure held in store for us in the Heavenlies, and at this present Age we are to walk worthy of all that Christ has done for us. We are His children. The world says, "Be somebody." Jesus says, "you already are somebody, you are MY child."~ Moni Let's walk worthy of our Daddy and make Him proud. ~Moni Find more Episodes at https://www.momentswithmoni.com (Moments with Moni)

Like the Borg in Star Trek ( "Borg" was a derogatory abbreviation of "cyborg" used by many inhabitants of the galaxy, including those residing on Aduba-3, in contrast to "normal organics." Google), Rome would conquer the Tribes or cities in their path and assistmilate them into their New World Order. Each of the families that were conquered were adopted by a Roman Family and became fully vetted by the Romans as heirs with an inheiritance, be sealed, and learn how to conduct themselves as Romans. This Star Trek analogy may help us understand that we, those in Jesus are: The chosen ones in Christ that are adopted into God's Family Sealed with His Holy Spirit Given an inheritance Learn to be pleasing to God Preserve the unity of the Body of Christ Surrender/submit ourselves to Jesus and those in authority above us
All at the speed of Paul. More reminders to the Jewish and Gentile Believers in Ephesus and to believers today that spiritual blessings are different than earthly blessings. so set your affections on those things above and not on things on earth. There is a world beyond the one in which we live that will last forever, unlike this one, which is a blessing because when all things are made new there will be no more crying and no more pain. Spiritual Blessings explained simply in this Episode: Predestination Adoption Redemption Acceptance Forgiveness

It’s time to travel at the speed of Paul from eternity past in the heavenly realm to unpack our spiritual blessings available to those in Christ and learn to use those blessings to: Walk in Christ on this Earth Stand in Battle Run to the finish line of eternity future Become more like the lover of our souls
Paul was the Messenger of God. Called to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ. This was God’s will for Paul. God foreknew who would choose to follow Him, who would be obedient to Him before the foundations of the world. He is reserving or guarding an inheritance for us in heavenly places, as I Peter tells us…kept by the power of God to be revealed in the last times. Paul writing to the Ephesians means to exhort them in the thought of belonging to and being accepted in the Beloved…Jesus Christ! Today we too should be moved with praise and thankfulness that God Almighty would bend down so low from heaven above to make a way for us to be accepted in Him. Are you Prepared? Ephesians Intro Much talk of being prepared for the ugly times ahead that many are predicting and encouraging you to be prepared for the worst but hope for the best. Much talk about the loss of strength and power of the United States but with all that talk, I don’t hear much talk about being spiritually prepared for what is coming at the end of this Church Age. Barna Group Statistics claimed that: 91% of Adult Believers do not have a Biblical World View. 98% Percent of Millilenial Believers do not have a Biblical World View.
As shocking and appalling as that is, it is not a surprise to me for the Bible plainly tells us that there will be a falling away of believers from the truth of God’s word, and turning away from God. When I was young and learning the Word and then sharing with others I was always reminded about the saying that the Truth of the scriptures is only one generation away from being lost forever. With statistics like this, it looks like we are very close to another prophecy, a forth telling of God’s word that may soon come to light. In this Church Age we are to defend the faith and keep the scriptures pure and yet if we look around we see more opinions than doctrines. For quite some time, words have been changed to confuse listeners and attacks on absolute truth have made way fro circular logic. Such Non-conclusionists give us pretty firm absolute comments when their aim is to convince others that they are not irrational in their belief of differentiating knowledge from belief and then question belief to deny religious truth. For example Nihalists that “believe” that all values are baseless and reject the general, fundamental aspects of human existence, such as “objective truth” which is just another example of circular non-logic. They say it is not provable to the intellectual theist, only interpretive. Which makes me wonder how they can believe that statement since they can’t believe in anything. So, a ”religious” fear, would overwhelm their so called “rational thought”, with their truth being science, technology and evolution. In the end with these “beliefs” they are only “closer to their truth” with no real conclusion as the circular logic goes round and round. Sure makes for great intellectual conversations, but we were warned that these last days that the longer the King is gone, the worse it will be and the endless intellectual conversations, and quest for intellectual interpretiveness, will not bring them to the the knowledge of the Truth. God has clearly said to take hold of the truth, but where are we to find it in a world where the meaning of words are being changed to confuse and divide. How are we to gather a Literal, foundation of the truth if Literalism now defines literal as a bad word. It wouldn’t be so bad if these things were going on outside of the church because we wouldn’t expect unbelievers to act according to the scriptures, but it goes deep into the heart of the churches which is reflected in the statistics we heard earlier. Another saying from days past that has swirled about is “Don’t preach to the Choir” God is also clear when He says, judgement begins at the House of God, perhaps it’s time to preach to the choir once more. Now that we are finished with the Book of Ruth, it might be time for a “spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down,” Oh wait no, that’s from a fairytale. Time for some doctrine and definitions along with application in the arena of life. Gather your notebook, and pen or pencil, and listen in as we begin with some background and History of the culture. Let’s grab hold of the truth together as we dig into the Book of Ephesians. Historical Background Cultural Insights Ephesians 1:1-3

We've made it to the finish line of Ruth. It was the darkest days of the Judges, and to be honest, our current days are looking just as dark, maybe even as dark as the days of Noah. But not to worry, God already knows what the future holds. We have journeyed with Naomi's family from, famine, death, tough travels, bitterness, empty handedness, kindness from strangers, hope, redemption, and a future! In the geneology of Jesus, God brings a great light through the birth of little Obed. Jesus our Kinsman Redeemer is at the end of the line of this list of "Movie Credits" at the end of the Book. The last chapter of our lives is still being written. Even if these days look dark, even if these days look as dark as the Day's of Noah, there is still hope. There is Hope in Jesus. Our Redeemer lives. So don't give up. Keep looking up, keep looking at the finish line. There is still work for us to do here and we have hope in our hearts for the eternal future with our Fahter, with Jeus Christ in Heaven. My hope is that you have fallen in love with His Word and more in love with Him through this Study through Ruth and dig deeper into the love letters. May you come to know your God more intimately before we meet Him soon, face to face. Some may call this preaching to the Choir, but we are commanded, it's not a request, to comfort one another through the Word of God, because the "Choir" needs encouragement to finish strong in these last days. We heard Ruth humbled herself and laid at the feet of Boaz last week. Have you spent time at the feet of Jesus this week and given Him your troubles? Have you received peace of heart as you sit and wait until He takes care of all that concerns you? God’s timing is not always our time line, but make no mistake He will take care of you in your time of need. That care may not look like what you want, but He knows best and all things do work out for our good, and His glory. When we come to know Jesus as our Redeemer, we look forward to the Hope of being with the lover of our souls forever, but there is still work to do in the here and now that we have the privilege of being a part of. God doesn’t need us, but gives us the honor of sharing Him with others so that we can be a part of the Covenant promise that He has made. He wants all people to be saved from an eternity without Him and to spend it in HIs presence, but He also gives hearts to option to choose Him or their own way. Ruth proposes marriage to Boaz, which was a culturally relevant way of saying, I'm a widow, take me as your wife. A short tour through the end of Ruth Chapter 2 to understand an End times event. The Title Deed to planet Earth has been spoken of by Commentators as being unable to be opened in Revelation 5. The Scroll has been written on both front and back, implying it is full of information and then sealed with seven seals. They are not seals in succession throughout the scroll, but seals placed next to each other on the outside of the scroll as is customarily done in Hebrew culture, like in Jeremiah 32. Revelation 5 depicts a scene of sorrow for those present do not know of anyone that is worthy of opening this scroll to read the inheritance details. The contents of the scroll is not the point of the chapter, but the One who is worthy to break the seals and open it is! Jesus is the only one worthy to open the scroll and is revealed in the Book of revelation. In today's episode of Ruth, we see a picture of our Redeemer, of Boaz who is revealed as one of Naomi and Ruth's near Kinsman. Momentswith Moni Blog

Our Heroine Seeks refuge in Bethlehem and jumps straight into action to find food for herself and Naomi. Ever been in a difficult situation and find all you can do is take one more step? Ruth took that step and found herself in the field of a kind and generous man who offered to let her stay safely on his land while she gleaned after his servants who were harvesting his fields. Levitical law gave Ruth the right to do what she was doing, but she still asked in humility for the permission to do so. We find that her humility is rewarded greatly by someone who is a stranger to her. This man, who owns the land she gleans food from, to help others. This man, offers more than just physical food, but also protection. This man invites her to sit and eat at his table. This man shares a meal of bread and fermented vinegar. This man gives much more of himself than what is required by law and extends grace. This man is a picture of what Jesus is for those who take refuge in Him, our Kinsman Redeemer.
Do you want to be able to understand Revelation Chpater 5? The key lies within the pages of heart of Ruth. Is our heart grounded in what God wants for us or will emotions and pain redirect our path. Will we turn away from Him, or will we cleave to Him? A superficial look at the words in Ruth would make a great Hallmark Card, but when we look deeper we can see history, culture and prophecy blend perfectly into commitment and radical love, and redemption. There is no more male in Naomi's life in this patriarchal society. The choice is now in Naomi's lap and we tune in to see her decision. Orpah and Ruth are given choices as well, choose a forgein land or stick with what they know. Covered in this episode: Ruth 1:6:18 We visit the idea of the Leverite Marriage Customs in this day. It is important to understand the culture of the time of Ruth. We don't have the thoughts of the characters all spelled out for us, but we must remember these are not two dimensional characters on a page. God's idea of a marriage is a covennant promise, not a contract. We must remember that life is hard, but God is good. He will never leave us or forsake us. Would you consider Ruth clingy, or radical, in a time when all did what was right in their own eyes? God knows where we make our bed. Hide yourself in Him. Take refuge in Him.

Thank you to all who have reached out to me after the Quad State Tornado. What a week this has been. It was our first Tornado experience and since this one is being called the worst one in History, it's all down hill from here isn't it? We were directly in the path of the Thunderstorms and the Tornado's, and could have been hit just like so many others, but God! I don't know why we were spared and others had their homes turned into match sticks or worse lost their lives. But I do know that even those that are missing right now are known by God, and He knows exactly where they are. Praying for those that have been hurt and affected by this devastation, and asking God for His continued mercy with more storms that are on the horizon. I may record my thoughts about this Tornado in the future, but for now, I'd like to Keep my eyes focused on the message in Luke that we have been looking at. We begin Luke Chapter 2 today and see "what comes to pass" just like God said it would. If you are paying attention to the Bible as you read, you will find glimpses of Jesus in the Old Testament where He is concealed and then find Him revealed in the New Testament. Like I said last time, It's not just a story! In Luke Chapter 2 we find Joseph and Mary on their way to their Hometown of Bethlehem. Ceaser Agustus wanted to take a census of all the people so he could tax them. In so doing, God's plan of Jesus being born in Bethlehem will come about. Mary was accompanied by Joseph to whom she was betrothed. There is very little that is written about Joseph in this account, but if we look closely we can see the picture of a servant. I know the world is harsh and filled with sin and heartache now that we have been placed outside the Garden of Eden in an act of mercy. Life is hard, but GOd is good. He will watch over us, and knows our sufferings. So as we walk through life, remember to Be Strong & Courageous https://www.momentswithmoni.com/blog (Moments with Moni Blog) Music & Lyrics of Be Strong & Courageous by Brad & Monika Hardy Keeping you in prayer. Ever wonder if what God says comes to be? Are you shocked or flabergasted when, what He says does come about in your life? The relatives of Zechariah the Priest were so surprised that after 400 hundred years of silence from God, He spoke through Zechariah. Of course, fear came upon them all, and the news spread quicker than a text would today. It was discussed far and wide, and they wondered what kind of a child this would be? Well, Zechariah was finally able to speak once he declared what the angel Gabriel had told him when he announced the child shall be call John, even though there was no John in the family line. Then Zecahriah was filled with the Holy Spirit and declared more news to the crowd. John, the forerunner of Jesus has arrived. Let's listen in to hear what Zechariah had to say as we prepare our hearts and homes for the celebration of the first arrival of Jesus, and looks forward to His Second Advent and arrival soon! What God says, comes to pass. Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it, are the issues of life. Chit, chat, catch up after Thanksgiving. You know, that week after Thanksgiving, first Sunday of Advent and the beginning of the Christmas Season all rolled into one. Posting this episode a bit late on Tuesday as quality recording silence was at a minimum around here. My husband works from home and has been attending Seminars online so I had to wait for his breaks to piece this episode together. Phew, made it before midnight. America celebrated Thanksgiving, and I hope the episodes prior helped you get your heart into a state of Thankfulness for the things that Christ has done, and for the Christmas Season around the world that is upon us. Should the Grinch steal all the gifts and leave those buglers and trumpets and roast beasts on shipping containers in the Pacific Ocean, we can still raise our voices high in praise to our God above as He fills us with His Holy Spirit to spill over in love to those around us as we rise above the circumstances. Last time, we left Zechariah and Elisabeth at home after the angelGabrieal met Zechariah the Priest and gave him some fantastic news! Too bad Zechariah doubted what God can do. The consequence of his doubting made him speechless for months until his child was born, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Today, Mary makes her way quickly to Elisabeth to share the news and see for herself the exciting news that Elisabeth was also with child. The two women spend three months together. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall while they were together. Imagine the conversations they had, I mean, it's not like Zechariah was saying anything at the moment. Mary's thankfulness turns to praise and God recorded her response in song in the Bible for us, and the writers of the Bible call it Mary's Magnificat. Prayer Request: Please pray for the family of the little boy, and the Orphanage in India. The boy was playing outside with other children and was bitten by a snake and died instantly. Christmas time is a difficult time for many. Pray that the joy of the Lord can shine through the darkness to encourage those who are hurting. Thank you. Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. If you are doubting, you are not alone. The main man on the stage of today's story doubted God's plan for him even though it was delivered by the mouth of an Angel. We continue in Luke Chapter 1 and hear the story of Zechariah and Elisabeth and what God had in store for them. After 400 years of silence, God delivers a great message to the Priest as he is on the job in the Temple but it is is received with doubt and he is struck dumb for awhile. If we spent more time listening and thinking than speaking perhaps we might get a taste of what Zechariah was going through. Are you anticipating the Holidays ahead as much as I am? I look forward to them every year. It brings me joy and hapiness to be able to share Jesus with others as I anticipate the days of celebration ahead, as well as the final desitnation at the end of our race in this life. Today's episode is an encouragement for us to anticipate God's voice in our lives. Chapter 1 of Luke give us us a picture of a couple who have been praying, anticipating the answer to prayer for a long time, and when it looks like all hope is lost, the prayer is answered with a yes! After 400 years of silence, between the New and the Old Testaments, God speaks through an Angel to Zecariah the Priest. Zecariah's anticipation may have waned as he was very surprised to hear from the Angel. Are we walking through this life with anticipation of God's return for His Bride? As we walk through our days of preparing for family and friends and house guests, let's keep our mind in anticipation and thankfulness for God's plans for our future and Hope! Which one wil it be? Have we taken the time on our knees to find out what the lover of our souls wants for us? Will we be evangelists or ambassadors? Will we be cowards or walk and stand for the truth? Will we let others judge our convictions in the Lord? Today's podcast brings up the history of Martin Luther during the Reformation. It's been over 500 years since that day that he nailed the 95 Thesis on the door of the All Saints Church in Wittenberg Germany. Luther is no longer here, but we are. It's our turn now. Will we stand and fight for the truth or will we turn our backs on the Truth? The only way to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might is to be on our knees and be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit For more podcasts, I invite you to the Blog at https://www.momentswithmoni.com (Moments with Moni ) Guard your heart with all dillegence for out of it are the issues of life. Do you celebrate Halloween, All Saints Day, All Hallow's Eve, or Reformation Day? That is the question. Today I share a bit of my Journey in life on these subjects. Where do you stand on them? Do you know anything about them or just celebrate them because it's what your family has done before you? The Episode starts with a story, of course. I grew up in southern Ca on the other side of the railroad tracks from Compton where the Riots happened in the 1960’s. Seeing bars on the windows of the homes were commonplace. I remember a burglar walking in the front door while we were in the backyard but Mom was just walking back in with a bowl of wet dogwood in her hand when she saw him. All of us children were right behind her and saw the funny picture before us. A short little crazy German woman threatening a tall lanky black young man with a bowl of dog food as she yelled and screamed at him to get out of her house and stay away from her children. The poor guy didn’t know what hit him! He ran towards a side hall and tried to jump out the window but there were bars on the windows so he ran back out past Mom saying ok Lady, Ok Lady, just calm down..... (listen in for the rest of the story) I also share a few ways that our family has spent our time on Halloween. Time to be in prayer, and in the Word of God to be led by the Holy Spirit in the way your should spend your time for the Kingdom. I'd love to hear your stories of how you bring glory to God. Yes Virginia, there really is a connection between Communion, Coffee, and Cake. Relationship between God and others is developed in these areas that help us grow as individuals and more in love with our God so we can share His love with others. For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is [broken] for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me" (1 Corinthians 11:23-25). And in Mark, written between 75-80 A.D. we read of the scene of Jesus' Last Supper: And as they were eating, he took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to them, and said, "Take; this is my body." And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it. And he said to them, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many" (Mark 14:22-24). Life is hard. I get that. The scene looks rough for many. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Nations argue against other Nations and on the brink of war. Families are hurting,The Economy is tanking, and the Churches are imploding and the Government…. I’m not gonna open that can of worms. Is it time to give up? Today is the last of the summer season re-posts of the Covenant Series. It has been a very busy summer for myself and my family with moving across country, getting sick and unpacking to set up house. I still have not found the box with all my recording equipment! Hoping to get to recording some new material soon. But for now, it never hurts to visit God's word again to glean something new. Blessings to you and yours as you study to show yourself approved by God. Moni Abrahamic and New Covenant Compared. Have you ever felt like living a holy, sanctified, set apart life and being pleasing to the Lord is a waste of time? I mean, what if it’s all just not true? What if in the end it’s all a big joke? Well, I’m sure you are not alone in those feelings. It’s run across my mind a few time throughout my life. However, that’s all they are feelings. Yes, God made us with feelings, but the feelings are not what our lives should be run by. One reason not to base our lives on feelings is that they change at the most inopportune moments. We can be sad, glad or mad all in the time it takes to sit through a news story while waiting in the Dentist office. What if I decided that my new acquaintance, would feel better with a big bowl of ice cream and all the toppings? Sounds like fun doesn’t it? However, the FACT is that she is a diabetic, and sick right now and that big bowl of sugar would not be helping her, but in fact, hurting her. The more I know about another person, or a situation, the more solid foundation I have of the facts concerning my friend or situation. The FACT is that God loves us, in fact He loved us before we ever knew Him. God knew centuries ago that you would be here today, doubting His love because feelings got in the way. So He left some love letters for us to read to remind us of the Facts, as well as the reminder that He loves you and made away for those who love Him to be with Him forever. Yes, that is through Jesus, the Better, and New Covenant. Jesus is the New Covenant. As we delve into the New covenant a bit deeper today, we will see that not only does God make a way for our salvation from a fallen world, but a way to be holy through Jesus, and bring others along with us to a New and Holy City where we will life with our Beloved forever. From the New to the Old Comparing the Promise to Abraham and to Jesus There are some that say that the Church has replaced the Nation of Israel as God’s people. It might make some feel better to think this way, but the facts of the Bible nullify any feelings in such a direction. If we compare the Nation of Isreal to the Body of Christ regarding the promise that was given to Abraham, the same promise was given to Israel, but it was fulfilled through the Church. In Genesis 12:3 God told Isreal that He would make them a great Nation, and bless them that blesses them and curse them who curse them and in them all the families of the earth would be blessed. However, this came with conditions. For God also told them “If you will obey and keep My Covenant, the you will be a peculiar treasure to Me, as well as a Kingdom of priests and a holy Nation. (Exodus 19:5-6) Well, like Moses had predicted Israel would not obey. In 1 Peter 2:5,9) God tells His Beloved that you are lively stones, built up as a spiritual house, a holy priest hood, You are a chosen generation, a royal or kingly priesthood, a holy Nation, a peculiar people. Both were chosen Nations, as Isaiah 51:4 and 1 Peter 2:9 Pay attention to Me my people and listen to Me, O My Nation, for a law will go out from Me and I will set My Justice for a light to the peoples. And to the church God tells us: we are lively stones being built up as a spiritual house…a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that we may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of the darkness and into His marvelous...
The Messianic Covenant The last few Podcast Episodes have been about the Davidic Covenant and then a reminder of why we were looking into the covenants. One of the last things I mentioned was that it helps us to understand God’s plan to be His Ambassadors and His representatives of these Covenants, and it helps us take a look at how they play out in the Bible, in our lives and for our future. The time frame of some of these covenant promises from God overlap in History and our Future: Edenic: From the beginning of the Garden of Eden to the end of Genesis 2 when Adam sinned Adamic: Genesis 3 to as long as there is sin on the Earth Noahic: From the Ark to the end of rainbows Abrahamic: Lasts until the end of the Millennium Mosaic: Lasted from Receiving the Law at Mt Sinai to the death of Jesus on the cross Davidic: From the days of David’s Kingdom, renewed to Mary Luke 1:31-33 and fulfilled through Jesus until the end of time. Messianic or New Covenant: Applies to ALL who are saved through Faith in the finished work of Jesus on the Cross from Adam onward. Only two of the Covenants had conditions attached Do you remember which ones they were? One was the Edenic (Don’t eat of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil) The Other was the Mosaic Law: This was given solely to the People of Isreal. It ended with the Death of Jesus. Well technically it ended then. However many kept trying to crawl back under this old covenant known as the Law, rather than looking forward to the New Covenant of grace. Marriage, it’s what brings us together today. Do you recall that movie line? Marriage ceremonies have changed over the years. Currently it looks like a contract between two people that can be broken when feelings change, that is why a prenuptial agreement comes in handy today, for those who look at marriage as a contract that is breakable at one point down the road. But remember we looked at how God intended a marriage to be. In fact a marriage covenant was a representation of the Covenant relationship God made with mankind. There is no relationship with God outside of a Covenant. Are you in a covenant with God right now? If you are, do you know which one, or ones? Can you state the benefits and responsibilities of the Covenant that you are a part of with God? If not, you might want to go back through the Covenant Series again and take notes, or just check out the Blog Posts that coincide with each Episode and compare it to your Bible. Our current culture tends to look at love as something to be received. The Old Testament describes the love of God as His loving kindness, or loyal love. It is pictured in the Book of Ruth 3 times and is described as headed love or lovingkindness, loyal love, and is Expressed through actions Expressed as genuine concern for others Demonstrated as strong devotion to another The Christian Wedding is actually filled with symbolism about the making of a covenant. We spoke of the Making of a Covenant in past Episodes. The Hebrew word for Covenant is Berith. The root word of Berith is “to cut”. A blood covenant was a formal, binding agreement between two parties. In the Old Testament it was done by the cutting of an animal, who’s blood was shed to make the agreement binding. In the New Covenant the Better sacrifice, Jesus, gave His own blood to make the covenant binding and the shedding of blood no longer necessary.
Then the two parties would walk through the middle of the animal sacrifice In Old Testament times, this ground they walk on through the sacrifice was considered holy ground. They would then pledge and promise all their rights, possessions, and benefits to the other party. They would exchange belts, and their outer coat, and take some part of the other persons name.
This should all sound familiar to you after the last 6 or so weeks of the Biblical Covenant Series. But now, let’s look at what we...
Summer Update: After moving across the Country this summer and then getting very sick, I am posting a repeat of the The Covenant Series at the current time. The New Season of Moments with Moni will begin in the Fall of 2021. Praying for you all, and hoping that you are taking advantage of all the oportunites that God is placing before you. Moni The Davidic Covenant: Last time we looked at the Biblical Covenants, we explored the Mosaic Covenant and left the House of Jacob on their way into the Promised Land without Moses. Joshua and Caleb were leading the people into the land of milk and honey after 40 years in the wilderness. Things were going well for them, and yet instead of returning God’s favor and lovingkindness, the Israelites spun down and out into disobedience to God’s Laws time and time again. The times of the Judges had come to an end, and this little tiny Bible Book called Ruth pops up with a story of customs and life during the period of the Judges. There are few points of DNA thread that weave their way through the book to our next stop along the way of the Biblical Covenants like a Dot to Dot pencil activity book. Genealogy is close to my heart. I love seeing the Family Tree fill up as research is done. The more the merrier, the more to love. Sometimes there is an unexpected surprise that pops up in the generations and I love to see how that particular branch of the family is grafted in to the Tree and see how and where they hail from. Family traits are sometimes strong, and overshadow what you might have thought was the norm. Whether it be an ancestral link that is lost or that pops up unexpectedly, it may cause much heartache or joy. I suppose it depends on the perspective of those already hanging in the family tree, whether they be nuts or peaches. Each family member can only be responsible for what is in their own heart as they reach out to the others. The Book of Ruth is a great example of a family lineage that stems from Abraham, to Moses, amongst a family line that was kept pure and separate because of the racist hearts of the Egyptians at the time of the slavery before the Exodus, to a time when all the Kings of Israel did what was right in their own eyes. Ruth is a beautiful account of a Moabitess, that marries into the line of the Hebrews. The Moabites were from the son of Lot and known to the Hebrews as “God’s washpot” and yet this young woman, Ruth, was used by God to bring about the ancestral line of someone near and dear to my heart. A quick summary of Ruth’s story is that she marries into a family of Hebrews that left Bethlehem during the famine. Ruth marries one of the sons in this family, but the dad dies, both the sons die, and the other daughter in law goes back to her family. Only Ruth, the Moabitess stays with her Mother in law Naomi and returns to Bethlehem to care for her. Here Ruth meets Boaz who cares for her and is a picture of a Redeemer. Boaz redeems the inheritance that belonged to the Hebrew widow Naomi and in the deal, gets the Land and a wife in Ruth. The last portion of the Book of Ruth gives us the line of the ten generations from Pharez through Boaz and Ruth to their descendants. So Boaz had Obed, which meant server, and Obed was the father of Jesse, and Jesse was the Father of David, and David brings us to the next Covenant. Why do you think God would use someone so despised in the eyes of others to bring about something so beautiful? Perhaps He is showing us that we ourselves, no matter how sinful we are, however ugly we see ourselves in His sight, we are important to Him and loved by Him. God will use anyone that is willing to be used as we see in the picture of Ruth’s loving heart. We have now seen the DNA thread weave from Adam to David and we pick up the story in the Book of Samuel Chapter 18 Samuel was a child that grew up taught by the Priests about the ways of God and served God...
Mosaic Covenant Script This is the first time another Covenant is made, but this one is not for the entire human race. God chooses not just one person that finds grace in His eyes, but an entire Nation that will be born to be His particular people which is made by God through Moses with the people of Israel. To re-cap: At the end of our time together through the Second part of the Abrahamic Covenant, we left two sides of a split family, heading in different directions. God tells of the History account of the family side of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, now the generations, the Blessed Nation that God has made and we follow into slavery into Egypt. Slavery?? What kind of blessing is that, you say? There was supposed to be Land, a Name, and all the families of the Earth were to be blessed through Abraham. Had God changed His mind? No, no, let’s just keep listening..... https://www.momentswithmoni.com/blog/the-mosaic-covenant (Actually, you can read more at my Blog.) After Hagar returned with Ishmael from running away because of being treated harshly, she submitted herself to Sarai once again. At this time Abram was 86 years old. Have you ever run ahead of God and done things for Him rather than waiting for Him to do what He had promised? This Covenant is between God and Abram • You will be a Father of many Nations • I will change your name from Abram (high and haughty or lofty)to Abraham, (high father of a multitude.) for I will make you a father of many nations. This covenant is established between Me and you, and yourseed all your generations as an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and all your seed after you. • I will give the land of which you are a stranger, the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession to you and your seed, and I will be their God. This is my covenant with you Abraham, and with your descendants and this will be the sign of the covenant: You and every man child among you are to be circumcised as a sign of this covenant, your children by birth and those that are bought or servants. Signs were an important part of a covenant.... And it came to pass just as God had said. Abraham and Sarah gave birth to a child and named him Issac, and when the child was eight days old, the circumcision took place, the symbol to remind them of the covenant with each new generation. When little Issac was weaned, some scholars say three some say up to five years old, Abraham made a feast to celebrate. During this time Sarah was an eye witness to Ishmael mocking Issac. It looks as if Hagar and Ishmael were welcome to remain until this point. It was Sarah who went to Abraham and said, Cast out this bondwoman, and HER son for the son of this servant will not be heir with MY son Issac. This grieved Abraham, for he had become attached to his son of the the flesh, Ishmael. Ishamel may have been Isaac’s buddy and school mate, but he was not a fellow heir to the inheritance. God told Abraham not to grieve over Ishmael, listen to your wife, and put him away, for I will make of Ishmael a nation, because he is your seed. As Matthew Henry shares in his Commentary on this passage: “If Hagar and Ishamel had conducted themselves well in Abraham’s family, they might have continued there but they threw themselves out by their own pride and insolence, and were justly chastised.” Again we see an opportunity to have obeyed God in the things He tells us, or to walk in our own ways. We were made in the Image of God. While here on earth we have an earth suit, this flesh that covers the real us, the spirit within. There will always be a struggle between the flesh and the spirit for control. Are you lost? I was the first time I heard all these things. It took me awhile to connect the dots of all this History and prophecy which is still History and some is yet prophecy.... Abrahamic Covenant Part One Part of the Biblical Covenant Stories Series I hope this story telling account of History and the Biblical Covenants is of help to you. I know we all have questions when it comes to life. When I was young, I was the oldest of 5 children. My youngest little sister was filled with so many questions as she grew, but the first question was why? Not just why, but why, why why why, why, why, but why and so on. It taught me patience for sure. But it also helped me understand that inquisitive nature. So, here we go again, As I attempt to answer some of the background info to the why questions to give us a better understanding of WHY God did what He did. Of course we won’t know it all this side of Heaven, but I hope it’s a good start to get you digging into the Biblical Covenants on your own. Last time we got together and looked at the Covenants, Noah and his family were fresh off the boat, ok a really big boat, ok, an Ark! After exiting the vehicle, God had instructed the family once again with one direction being repeated which was for them to be fruitful and multiply, for the entire earth needed repopulating. The smell of a good BBQwas still wafting in the air including the fat from the animals that were given to God in sacrifice by Noah on an altar, revealing an obedient heart, with the rainbow overhead as a symbol of the unconditional covenant between God and mankind and all the animals. God promised He would not flood the entire earth again. After establishing the family in the last covenant between Himself and Adam, God has now established government for mankind through the covenant with Noah. This covenant will remain in effect as long as there are rainbows. It does my heart good when I see a gorgeous double rainbow in the sky after a storm here in North Idaho. If you have any pictures of one in your area, I would love it if you would share them on the Moments with Moni facebook page. Let’s all remind each other of this promise from God. Ok, back to the story. Well, the beauty of the fresh new earth didn’t last that long. Fresh off the boat, Noah decided to be a farmer, and planted a vineyard. Yes, I realize there is passage of time, but in the very next verse, Noah drank that wine, and you guessed it...Noah got drunk. Evidently there was a scandal that went on inside the tent, for the Bible reads, “Noah, drank of the wine, and was drunken, and had it happened today Ham would have been considered a journalist wanting to make headlines Some say there may have been more going on, but many scholars believe that the scene was just what it was written as, which you can read in Genesis. Do you remember after Adam and Eve sinned and made clothing for themselves out of fig leaves? The timeline from this Antedilluvian age to the Last Days before the coming of Christ, may make this moment look like no big deal. But remember the standard of this world by the One who created it and all that is in it, rises above such lewdness. After Noah woke from his drunkeness, it says that he knew what had happened. I used to think that Noah just yelled at his son because he was mad at him. However, the Bible paints a different picture. Noah was now in his right mind, and since he was the head of the family, and now the head governing member of society, he has proclaimed blessing and cursing in this instance. The guilty party is now proclaimed a servant to the other two sons, one of whom receives a spiritual blessing and the other a temporal one. We also read in this account of History, that Noah lived another 350 years after the flood and he died. As the Bible continues, descendants of these three sons are mentioned. It looks like a dry read of names if at first you open your Bible to read them, but if you dig in to the meaning of these names, and catch a bit of history that is thrown in with them, it actually reveals a lot. But that is for another story. Our main take...
The Covenant Stories-NoahicNoahic Covenant Welcome back to Moments with Moni, I’m your Host…..Moni Last time we left Adam and Eve just outside the Garden Eden in their new, animal skin covering, that God made for them. Even though they disobeyed God, He was kind and merciful to them and instructed them in the way they should go as they entered the new realm of life that included pain, suffering, weeds, thorns and thistles. It’s at this point we need to remember that it was their own doing that brought them to this place. There was no one else to blame for the state they were in. We continue today in Genesis to set the stage for the scene on the Earth before God made the next Covenant. Let's ponder a Biblical perspective on life on earth before God made the Covenant with Noah. In the middle of this account of History, there is a whole chapter on Genelogies in the Bible. Instead of a boring account of me reading this to you, I share a snippet of the Skit "Christ and the Veil" It was written by my son, and he shares it around the kitchen table at dinner time with his children. You can find more info on this "Christ and the Veil" on Stephen Hardy's Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/christandtheveilplay ("Christ and the Veil- A One Man Play" )or to request a booking for him to share this skit at your church or Park or gathering. Oh and by the way, at the time of the recording, our grandchild #8 was on the way. :) Read more about the podcast on the Blog at https://player.captivate.fm/episode/Momentswithmoni.com (Momentswithmoni.com) 57

The Covenant Stories-AdamicAdamic Covenant A short review of the Edenic Covenant from last time: The Ednenic Covenant was a conditional covenant between God and Adam. Which means there were conditions to this covenant regarding creation and life in the Garden of Eden. It was a time of innocence. Adam was to live in the land that God had given him, and God set before him a choice to do things God’s way, or his own way. Just one simple test of obedience while Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden. Let’s set the stage for the Adamic Covenant It begins with Chapter 3 of Genesis: Enter, stage left, the snake, the whisperer of magic spells, an enchanter. One who hisses. All these descriptions come from the Strongs Concordance, but the snake is not clearly identified as Satan in this particular passage. Since the entire Bible is sixty six books connected to tell the entire History, we can understand this hissing creature a bit better through their addition. Ezekiel chapter 28 tells us this creature was in Eden, the Garden of God and every precious stone was his covering, that he was beautiful and when he was created he was able to sing with his pipes and make music. Revelation 19 and 20 describe the snake as the great dragon that was cast out of heaven, the old serpent called the Devil, That Satan who deceived and deluded the whole world! He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. So yes, this serpent was more subtile, crafty, or cunning, then any beast of the field. This serpent is referred to in Ezekiel as one who’s heart was lifted up against God. This serpent who led others in worship of God, who used to be the worship leader in heaven, thought himself to be greater than God. It was this serpent who was cut down and cast out of heaven along with a third of the angels. Dr. Luke in chapter 8 tells us a story about the devils or demonic beings under certain circumstances, having the ability to indwell human or animal bodies. In Lukes story, it was a herd of swine. Now that we can see how the serpent in the garden is tempting Eve, and who this serpent is, you may have even more questions before we continue. Why is Eve talking to the serpent? Where was Adam? Why was Adam not protecting the weaker vessel from the enemy? The Biblical Covenants, EdenicThe Edenic Covenant Travel back with me in time to before Covid, before 9/11 Before the Gulf War, Before both the World Wars, Before the building of the Ancient pyramids To a time where time began... The History of this time is not written in chronological order. This account of History begins with.... In the Beginning God, if we have trouble with these four words, we won’t be digging any deeper to find the gold hidden in the rest of the account. The beginning verses go onto describe a beautiful new home created by God for humans, created in not His but “their Image” revealing a God head in three parts, yet one. A bit confusing? Picture a family, Dad and a mom and a child, all three parts of the same family yet three distinct, and separate people. The analogy breaks down, but helps us understand the picture. So we have a beautiful new home with waters and land, and shrubbery, birds, animals, stars, sun moon, and humans. The humans are the crown of God’s creation. Again, He made them in His Image. He made them with a body, soul, and a spirit and wanted to to be their God and spend eternity with them. Here is where I turn to the user manual to explain what the warranty entails. You know, the user guide that comes along with the new smart tv you just purchased. After pushing all the buttons on the remote for a few hours to make things work, you resort to the user guide to read the fine print...... Let’s ponder the salt and light of the words of this account of History. This Biblical perspective gives us opportunity to consider that this body is the temple of thee Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is of God within us is a gift from God. And that with both body and spirit we are made to glorify our Creator. FB Meyer once shared: Every human being is entrusted with a garden, that we may keep it. Guard it.. God’s Goodness is no excuse for idleness. Whether your heart and life will produce weeds, or flowers and fruits, depends on what we do with this gift of life. Two last examples from scripture: Proverbs 24:30-31 I went by the field belonging to a lazy man, by a vineyard belonging to a senseless person. There it was, overgrown with thistles, the ground covered with thorns, its stone wall collapsed. 2nd... Overview of The Biblical Covenants An Overview of the Covenants of the Bible: Edenic: Conditional between God and Adam Adamic: Unconditional between God and fallen humans Noahic: Unconditional for the restoration of all things. After sin entered the world with Adam and Eve, it bloomed full again during the time of Noah. Abrahamic: The Gentiles and grafted into the unconditional covenant. All mankind is blessed through Abraham. A covenant of promise for the spiritual children of Abraham Mosiac: A conditional covenant through Moses, but temporary. Shows the Law as our schoolmaster. The Jews are blinded to this being the Old Covenant. Davidic: Unconditional promise, currently dormant, but will be fulfilled when the Son of David takes the throne during the Millennium. New Covenant: Messianic Unconditional New Covenant that replaces the Old Covenant. Salvation is secured, a new heart is given, and forgiveness for all who choose to surrender. Some add the Land Covenant: Eternal and Unconditional Overview of the Mysteries of God's Will in Ephesians Chapter 1: Predestination, adoption, The dispensation Times, Millenium, inheritance. All these will be more clear as we continue to study through each of the Covenants in more depth, and we will have a better understanding of the mystery of God's will which is "Christ in you, the Hope of glory!" The Covenant Stories EpisodeThe covenants are the DNA strand that ties the whole Book/God’s Plan together. In a nutshell: God made man in "their" image. Man sinned. Relationship was broken between God and man with no way to live with God in His Kingdom. God makes Covenant with mankind to make a way for sin to be washed away and relationship restored to make a way to live forever in His Kingdom. If we are going to place our trust in God, then shouldn't we know who God is and what He is like? What He has done on our behalf? Who we are in Christ? And How we are to live in light of God’s Covenant promises? The Making of a Covenant Travel back in time with me to the Ancient Hebrew way of thinking The story of the Bible is the story of the Hebrew wife of God and the Gentile Bride of Christ grafted into the Hebrews. The Abrahamic Covenant. Is it still relevant to us today? It began as a blood covenant with Abram. God called Himself “The God of Abraham” “The God of Isaac” and “The God of Jacob” and ultimately the God of Israel. Through Jesus, we can all have access to salvation, the Jew and the Gentile. The Abrahamic Covenant, made new, better translated as “re-newed” in the strongs ( a primate root; to be new, causatively to rebuild:-renew, repair) is now a better covenant through Jesus Christ. Psalm 105:7-11 Plus: The Walk of Blood was done to seal the Covenant Promises More on the making of Ancient Covenants Visit the new Website https://www.momentswithmoni.com/blog/the-covenant-stories-week-1 (Momentsiwthmoni.com) to read more on this subject and download a FREE PDF on the History and Deeper Meaning of Covenants. Here we are in 2021 during the Holy Week, or Passion Week as some call it. It is the time leading up to the crucifixtion and Ressurection of the man we call Jesus. This Tale begins with the story of Two Adams, not atoms. The first Adam who was set in the Garden The second Adam who left Heaven and came to earth, born in a barn, who suffered and died on our behalf, willingly! However the second Adam didn't stay dead. Jesus rose again, and now sits at the right hand of God. During this week as we meditate on what Jesus has done for us, I'm sharing a Musical Service that I and many others were apart of many years ago. It was a team effort that stilll transcends time in the story that was shared to music. Episode 105 Revelation Chapter 12:1-9 The Woman and the Dragon: Who is the Woman of Revelation 12? Many people wonder just that. There are so many differing opinions along denominational lines, so it's best to read it for yourself and dig deep into scriputre to find out for yourself. Is the woman the Church? Is the Woman Isreal? Is the woman somone else? As I have mentioned in the past, if we read the other 65 books of the Bible it will help interpret the 66th book. It's always best to let scripture interpret scripture rather than commentators. I do rely on commetators to give me a good chuckle or diffinitive answer, but know that there are some things that we just may not know until we get to heaven. (Like what the seven thunders said in the last chapter that John was not allowed to write down) The woman had stars around her head, what was that all about? She was pregnant too. Is the church ever referred to as a pregnant lady? War in Heaven Does the devil look like that cartoon character, red with a long tail and a pitchfork? Is Satan going to fight God for control at the end of the Tribulation period? What about Arch Angels? Do they exist? All these and more of your questions answered in this episode. Moments with Moni

A slight detour from Revelation today. Today's Episode: "Conversations, Chandeliers & Christ" Ever felt like you are drowning in diapers, and bottles, and housecleaning? Today is a reminder that there are seasons in a woman's life and it's ok to not be that perfect Proverbs 31 woman everyday as she was a picture that was painted by a mom who wanted her son to find a woman that had the godly traits of such a woman. We may perhaps feel like we are not the perfect hostess, or gardener, or housekeeper, or wife, but remember, God looks at our hearts. As women we can feel left out, or left alone. We need each other. The younger need the older and vice versa. I know I finally realized in my season of life, I needed some help with housekeeping because I can't move around as well as I used to be able to. When I was younger, I was always willing and helping other young moms, or older people and volenteering to clean their homes or babysit or shop for them. It also gave us time to talk with each other about life and share things that we wouldn't necessarily hear from the pulpit, just as Titus was encouraged to not focus on teaching the young women, but to leave those details to the older women. Listen in while Sue Moore Donaldson and I share thoughts on womanhood from a Bilical Perspective. You can learn more about Sue at my Blog, https://www.momentswithmoni.com/blog/growing-old-gracefully-biblically (Moments with Moni)

Welcome back to Moments with Moni Today's Episode covers Revelation Chapter 11 The Two Witnesses and The Seventh Trumpet A reminder that this and the next chapters are a recap of the previous ones, but in depth a bit more as well as gives us an interlude. The Book of Revelation is not just for gaining or rejecting Fire insurance for the soul, but gaining an understanding of what God is doing in and through His church. Of course, during the time of this chapter and all that occurs on the Earth, the Church is in Heaven with God. Remember they left when the Holy Spirit left back at the beginning of Chapter 4. The two witnesses, who many say are Moses and Elijah, spend 3 1/2 years passing out the judgement sent from God until they are allowed to be killed by the enemy, yes he is on leash that is held by God. Tune in to hear the rest of the story... Or head over to Moments with Moni, the Blog for more episodes to listen to or blog posts to read. I'd love it if you would join us at the private Facebook Group to continue the conversation after the episode. There is also a new way to connect. I shared about The East African Gospel Music Academy a few weeks ago, and today I have the rest of the story to share with you. Samson Forchrist Bukenya has asked for prayer for several things: That God would provide for the younger children that they are now trying to help at the Academy. such as food, provisons and more. For the people in Uganda that are in crisis due to unemployment and lack of income. That they would turn from the world and toward Jesus as they help teach them musical skills and to love the Lord with all their heart that they may serve Him. That the skills they teach the people will help them, such as with computers, sewing machines, fishing, soap making, poetry.
There is more in the podcast so as you listen in, please keep them in your prayers. We shall see what God will do. I will be posting videos of the children at the Academy as they learn to worship at the Blog, https://www.momentswithmoni.com/blog/samson-forchrist-bukenya-part-2 (Moments with Moni) Theme Song: "Brand New" by Brad & Moni Hardy

Revelation Chapter 10 Another can be described as meaning two different things in the original language, however it is not made clear in English. The term "another" derives from allos in the Greek and is better translated as another in the sense of a "different" one not just a second one that is the same. So this Angel compared to the last angels is "different" Then we have the voice of the Seven thunders. As in the past chapters John began to write down the wrods the Seven voices thundered, but he was told not to write them down. Have you ever wondered why God would "tease" us with this information? These words are sealed up until the prophecy is fulfilled in our, still future, during the Great Tribulation Period, and then the "mystery" of these words will be "revealed" and at this time, "time will be no longer". John was told to take and eat the little scroll, and that it would taste sweet like honey, and turn bitter in his stomach. As we take in the Word of God, it is sweet to our taste, but there are parts like this that turn our stomachs because, thorugh the Holy Spirit we can see that the horror of God's judgement on a willful, sinful world. The John was told he must prophesy again before many people, nations and tongues and kings. Our spot in the timeline of History at the time of posting this Podcast Episode is at the end of the Church Age, just before the beginning of the first half of the Tirbulation period. It is still a time that God is calling out to all on earth to turn away from our wicked ways and follow after Him. Here I offer a re-write of Song of Solomon to give you an example of the type of love that is available between Jesus and a heart right now. The maiden of the story begins as one who is immature and grows under the shade of the apple tree, and matures to be the Bride of the Bridegroom. As we walk through this life on earth, the sufferings we go through mature us from one who enjoys the benefits of a being a believer to the Bride of Christ. He is coming quickly to an earth near you and time will soon be no more. https://www.momentswithmoni.com (Moments with Moni)

Short Review of Revelation 7-8 Revelation Chapter 9 The Fifth Sixth and Seventh Trumpet jusdgements A Star fell from Heaven and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. He opened the pit and smoke and locust rose to darken the sky and sting the people that were not marked. They had the sting of a scorpion the suffering lasted 5 months! No one would die at this point although they would cry out for the rocks to fall on them and put them out of their misery, thinking that death would give them relief. However, these were those who would not repent of their wicked ways and after the body would die, they were headed for eternal suffering. Satan always targets the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. NOt to worry, Satan, that fallen angel will get his in Revelation 20. Cravings, temptation, and boasting. Friday Focus Winner of the book giveaway Podcast Stats & States Prayer Samson in Uganda, East Gospel Music Academy Samson Interview Part 1 I had the pleasure of speaking with Samson from Uganda who runs the East African Gospel Music Academy, in Uganda Africa. Samson connected with me on Facebook, and we began messaging back and forth, and realized that we both knew of Far Reaching Ministries in Africa. My husband along with a friend and Pastor went to Africa back in 1999 to help Wes Bentley of Far Reaching Ministries begin a Bible College. I remember my husband trying to call me for my Birthday while he was in Uganda and we only had a very few minutes of scratchy connection. Samson and I planned an interview time, however the connection was very short, and his English is much better than my African which is completely non existent, however since Samson’s accent is thick, I thought I would add the transcript and comments here. To introduce Samson to you, I’m sharing a short bit of the interview at a time. I’d also like to share some memories I have of what my husband shared with me about life in Uganda. It actually reminded me of what our trip to Mexico was like, the two seemed very similar. In Mexico as we drove to our Hotel for a wedding, one side of the highway expressed the less advantaged population, compared to the wealthy. What I remember m y husband sharing about Uganda is the traffic as they walked through the town. Picture New Yours City with no one obeying traffic signals or lights, or lanes. One of the comments about the traffic in Uganda was that the car came so close to them as they were walking on the side of the road that the rivet on their jeans was close enough to scratch the car! I don’t live in New York, and it may be the same for all I know. For now, here is the first of the transcripts I will share of the short sound bites before I post the entire Podcast. “It is very rare to find a Church that has over one hundred Pastors, and even Ushers, they are less compared to musicians. So, Music moves a lot of people in the Church. Even some of us who are Pastors, at one time were worship leaders in the Church and eventually became a Youth Leader, from Youth Leader, you become a Pastor..... REVELATION 4 Last week we heard about the most important part of Revelation…What God had to say to the Churches and were told if we had an ear to listen, then do it. Today’s Episode will cover the beginning of Chapter 4, the Rapture! Reminder of the outline that God gave for this book chapter 1:4 It was John speaking to the seven churches sending grace and peace from Him Which is. (A paraphrase of the great I AM) Which was (the past) And which is to come. (The Future) In the ESV Version 4:1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you must take place after this.” At once I was in the Spirit and behold, a throne stood in heaven with one seated on the throne. Did you catch that? According to the scripture we just read, the Rapture was put into God’s timeline of History for mankind. If you missed it, lemma essplain When my brother and sister and I were visiting our Grandfather in Germany, way too many years to mention, we were standing around waiting for a bus, while we overheard a conversation in English. In English I asked the couple if there was anything we could do to help. He replied in English telling me he was trying to confirm the correct bus headed in his direction, but he was Polish and only knew how to speak Polish and English. After getting his info and question, I asked around in German for the info we needed and had them on their bus just in the Nic of time. It only took three languages before things became clear. Yes, that was an important rabbit trail. Most of us read our Bible in English. I read the first verse in the English Standard Version, a simpler version to understand than the KJV. I love the beauty of the KJV, but I understand that we don’t all go around speaking like Shakespeare anymore.
Whatever American translation you are reading from, was translated from the original languages…Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic.
No I don’t speak those languages, and don’t even begin to be an expert in translating. However since I speak German as well as English, I do understand that sometimes the translation of words or phrases are not clear cut and need a little understanding. For example, I grew up asking for an “untersetzt” at very important moments. At home with the family they understood, however if I was at someone else place, they didn’t always help quickly enough. So my mind would have to do the translation out loud. I need and untersetzt! The thing that sits under. The thing that sits under this hot pot of spaghetti that will burn me very soon. I need a TRIVET! That’s it, I NEED a TRIVET! In my mind I had to translate from German to English to a borrowed word from French! After these things, the things I just shared with you from my past, I am moving to the present to share more with you of what I have read and studied in the Bible. What I share on the subject of the Rapture is not meant to be taken to the point of using as ammunition in an arguement. These things that God has taught me through His word are made to comfort us with the thought of His return, not ne used as a weapon in warfare between other believers or a hammer when speaking with unbelievers. In fact this is a great place to pivot for some support for this caution.
If we look into I Thessalonians. This book was written around AD 51 so it was written to a fairly young church of about 20 years, rather young in the eyes of many a believer. And yet, Paul takes the time to speak to them of what was an important matter. Some of those in the early church had died, and they had questions. Will my loved one be in heaven or not since they have missed the Coming of the Lord, His return that has not happened yet. Paul was clarifying what would happen in chapter 4, he did not want them to be ignorant due to lack of information regarding those who...
An original Story of a Christmas gone by The Verse for today.... Then Joseph her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privately. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 1:19-20 Those who seek not their own glory shall have the honour that comes from God; it is reserved for the humble. Welcome to another Friday Night Feature Story on Moments with Moni. This past year we have studied our way through the Book of Song of Solomon. Now that we are done with the Podcast portion, I'd like to share an Audio Book Retelling of the Book of Song of Solomon that I wrote and finally recorded. If you have read and studied thorugh SOS, you may see the Maiden and the Beloved in this Re-telling. If you have not read the Book of SOS, I invite you to go through the SOS podcasts on Momentswithmoni. com to give you more insight into the story. A quick note of insight into the retelling is a version in which the Maiden represents the individual believer in Jesus, and the Beloved represents Jesus. During this Christmas Season, our hearts and minds turn towards the Christ Child, but don't remain there. He grew to be a man, a Savior that died for all of mankind, but He did not remain dead. Song of Soloman offers the most beautiful love story ever written to us, while I have condensed and shortened the intensley intimate story. Revelation 3 Welcome back to Moments with Moni I’m so glad you’re here. Today’s Episode is on the last three of the seven churches of Revelation A bit about their History How God revolved Himself to them What the commendations were to them What the warnings or counsel were to them What the promises are to the Overcomer
INTRODUCTION Blessings and prayers to and for you during this Christmas Season 2020 Wether you are able to listen now or later, my prayer is that you digging deeper into God’s Word to find the treasures hidden within. Mine God’s Word as if you are mining for gold. For His Word is lamp to show us where and how to step and a Light that exposes darkness and all of it’s pitfalls Last week we looked at the first four churches of Revelation. The sister Churches in Asia Minor who were sent a letter. That letter came from Jesus to the Angel to John to those in the seven churches to us today. God’s word transcends time and is a message to our hearts today. Link previous Episode in show notes If you missed the previous episode you can find the link below The next church on the list is Sardis in Revelation 3:1-6 Last time I mentioned how important it is to be aware of the Historical and Geographical context of the scripture. It helps us see the writings of the Churches History here in Revelation in the true light. If we just do the reading of the story and make a quick judgement based on our own thoughts, we miss the whole picture. Stories online or stories we read can be fairy tales in our minds eye, and dismissed as such. However, if you look at the Historical and Geographical aspects of these seven churches, we get a “3D” picture of Reality. Sardis, once a part of an Ancient Persian Kingdom, Lydia, with a very polytheistic environment liberated in 340 B.C. Sardis means “escaping” and was one of the seven churches in the Roman Provence of Asia, or Modern Turkey, filled with worship of false gods. Sardis was known for it’s gold and wealth. The city was destroyed in the 16th century by the Persian Army. John writes what Jesus told him to say to the church of Sardis. Jesus revealed Himself to the Sardis church as ”One with the seven Spirits of God and seven stars in His hands” and quickly tells them, “ I know your works, that you have a name, a reputation of character and reveals it as one who is alive, but dead. Giving us a picture of a corpse who walks around.... Philadelphia which means “brotherly love” Thirty miles East of Sardis, and about 50 miles from Laodecia, was the church of Philadelphia, representing a faithful church. Founded in AD 17. It was the newest of the cities and almost destroyed by earthquakes in that same year. Philadelphia resisted Moslem take over, and became an island of Christianity. Jesus revealed Himself to the Philadelphia church as, He who has the Keys of David and He that opens the door that no one can shut, and what He shuts, no one can open. If you studied through the Covenant Series here on Moments with Moni, you might remember the Covenant with David that proclaimed a descendant of his would forever more sit on the throne for eternity. Yes, here is the fulfillment of the New Covenant. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, He now holds the Keys to death and Hell, and is sitting at the right Hand of God, waiting until the time that God puts all of His enemies under his feet. His work is done, and He is waiting in Heaven
To the Church in Philadelphia Jesus says, I know your works and that you have just a little strength left. I also know that you have obeyed my Word and have not denied my name...... Most Bible Scholars see the hour of trial as prophetic reference to the Great Tribulation, on the timeline we are following here as just before the Earthly Kingdom. Jesus has promised to keep the faithful from that hour of trial. For it will be a time when those who dwell on Earth will be...
Merry Christmas Season Yes, Christmas 2020 will most likely look different than years past. Quarantine is at different levels, depending on where you are in our Country. The Presiedental election still has not been officially called and The Star of Bethlehem is supposed to be visible in the sky for the first time since the 1200's. Homes, lives, families and jobs are struggling. This episode is to encourage myself first, and all of you listening, to slow down, and take the time to draw close to Jesus. The book of Luke has 24 chapters and is a wonderful way to read all about the Christmas story of The Greatest Gift that has ever been given and welcome Him into our hearts all over again. Silent Night was sung by Moni in English, including a verse in German. Revelation Chapter 2 Welcome back for a bit of review of Revelation Chapter 1 If you were to share chapter 1 with a friend how would you tell them about it? Do you remember what or who the book of Revelation is revealing and how did this bit of History get to us? It might help us remember if I repeat the step by step process. Actually just thinking of steps will help us burn an image in our minds eye. The Apokolyspos (Apocolypse meaning Revelation) Which came to us in steps throughout History began with: God to Jesus to The Angel to John to The seven churches to You and I today.
John then wrote down the things which he saw Those who read, hear and keep the things that are written in the Book are blessed because… THE TIME IS AT HAND. Conveying the sense that nothing more has to happen before the next item on God’s calendar occurs, that being…..the RAPTURE. Yes, I know the word Rapture is not in the Bible. But the word Harpotso (Snatching away) is, in the Greek, so instead another word in our language conveys the snatching away of the Church. I mean can you imagine people standing around wondering where so many people went. Yes, that will be a tragedy! I can just see those that were left behind trying to remember that Greek word and trying to tell their neighbor, I think they were Harpooned, or Harpotzed, no Harpotsoed. And their neighbor asking, what’s that? Raptured will be something that those left behind have heard something about by this time in History. But more on that later. John then continues to greet the churches in the Ephesus area, Asia Minor. Paul was now dead and Jeursalem had fallen by the hands of Rome in AD 70. So John, as he pastored the churches in that area, told them of the message he now had from the Angel of God, of the... Faithful witness The first born from the dead The Prince of Kings The One who loved enough to die to forgive sins and wash them away with His perfect sacrifice. ( Zechariah 12) The One that “ WILL BE COMING IN THE CLOUDS” and every eye will see Him, and all those who pierced Him, and all the Kindreds of the Earth will WAIL when they see Him.
Who? The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending as described by the first and the last letter of the Greek Alphabet) Jesus and the Outline of the Book: Which was Which is And which is to come.
Just in case you still don’t recognize who that is, John makes it clear again…..The Almighty! Then John described a Vision of the Son Of Man…Jesus. Remember John is using words in his vocabulary that attempt to describe things no one had ever seen before… and was told to write about it. I know that when I am writing, whether it be a short story or a novel or a letter, I stumble over my words and struggle to find just the right ones to convey the message that needs to be etched into the readers mind or heart. So let’s give Pastor John a break as we read the things he shares in this book.
Revelation, like other books of the Bible, have a historical, geographical, time and place. However, these times and places span thousands of years of History. In the Old Testament the prophets tried so hard to understand the times in which it looks like we are living, but the words that were given them by God, did not allow for them to see the future clearly. Sometimes the time lines fo History overlapped, or stretched out beyond the days of Abraham and jumped ahead in History and yet the words that were shared seemed to cover both of those eras.
I remember standing on the mountains in Austria, like in the Sound of Music, where you could see the mountain tops from where you were standing all the way out as far as the eye could see, and even hear those big horns they would use to communicate with others in a different city. The mountains so green and lush with cows that wore bells as collars that dotted...
2020 has been strange to say the least. The world looks different, more so than it ever has before. Yet as a Nation, we all take a day together to stop and spend it with the ones we love and celebrate what we are thankful for. As believers in Jesus we have a heart attitude of thanksgiving everyday, well, at we should. My prayer is that you are well, and will be able to share your thoughts on Thankfulness to God in your home. A few of my Podcast freinds have come along to help us begin the road of thanksgiving. https://ericnevins.com (Eric Nevins: )Host of https://ericnevins.com (Halway There Podcast) & https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9jaHJpc3RpYW5wb2RjYXN0ZXIubGlic3luLmNvbS9yc3M?sa=X&ved=0CAMQ4aUDahcKEwj465a31pntAhUAAAAAHQAAAAAQAw&hl=en (The Christian Podcaster), as well as the Head of https://christian-podcasters-association.mykajabi.com (The Christian Podcasters Association). https://www.maryrsnyder.com (Mary Snyder: )A true Southerner, a Coach, a Speaker, Podcast Host of Take the Stage Tim Winders: Seek Go Create Known for his insight and effective, practical methodology, Tim Winders is a gifted speaker, facilitator, coach, and author. In these days, called the Last Days, or the Age of the Church, there is nothing on the clanedar that has to happen before the Rapture of the Church. Now there may be controversy as to when that will happen, but the Bible is silent on the actual date or time on the matter, although it does tell us that we would be able recognize the season of it's coming. With Covid setting the stage for a great Re-set on a global scale the season is looking very ripe and close for Jesus to call His Church home. The Revelation: Apocolypse is translated better as "The Unveiling" Dictated by God to Jesus, to John, to the Churches to us all these years later. The Outline of the Book of Revelation: Those things that are Those things that were Those things that will be
The Vision of the Son of Man that came to John the Apostle, who was told to write all these things down. There is a specific blessing for those who read, listen and obey the words in this Book of the Bible. Would you like to be blessed? Listen in, and read along. Home & Heart Friday Nov 20,2020 Topics: MTHFR, Music, Matthew Physical & Spiritual Health Welcome to Moments with Moni, I’m so glad you are here! With the weekend coming and the family spending more time together than ever before, let’s explore some topics that many of us could use help with. The dreary cloudy days bring sadness to many. Families are under more stress than ever with less work, more bills, and having to learn how to Zoom School. We enjoyed a pajama day now and then back when our family Homeschooled, but dressed from the waist up for teachers meetings online, with the stress of accomplishing all of the assignments and conquering technology, after a sleepless night and a depressing day doesn’t help the old energy tank. If you add the physical tank that is on low to the Spiritual tank that is on low, it can create a mess. I have been wanting to share my story with you on the physical tank that was brought so low I almost check out and went to be with Jesus. However, He has other plans for me, so here I am to share my journey through MTHFR, Hypothyroidism, and Hashimotos. Why in the world do doctors give these things such strange titles? After reading though medical research papers for over a decade, I can see that doctors are taught a completely different langue so that if the patient over hears a few of them sharing, we, the great unwashed, will not have clue as to what they are discussing. Examples: methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase enzyme gene Hashimotos Disease Hypothyroidism Hyperthyroidism
And then is Bronchitiis, Arthritis, and all the others itis’s The itisis’ are none other than inflammation of a particular part of the body. (which is another problem our medical system has. We are sent to different doctors for each part of our body that is having difficulty. Once there, we get 1-3 minutes with a doctor, he prescribes a drug or in the event the drugs on his list don’t cover the ailement, we are sent to a specialist, and or have surgery to cut out the problem) Pretty soon we are on a long list of meds, and a long line of doctors appointments, and due to Covid, are on a long wait list to have procedures done. We need our spiritual life to be healthy, and remaining in God’s word as we have in other podcasts and in our personal lives is most needed if we are going to be able to help others. As mom’s and Grandmom’s we can easily set aside our own health for the sake of others. It’s easy to do for those you love. But, take a hint from the Stewardess who is giving your instructions before taking off on a flight. You know, the ones we never listen to. Listen now, before placing the oxygen mask on your child, place the mask on yourself. Did you hear me? You can’t help anyone else if you are passed out. So before you Zoom School all of your children, make sure you have time set aside to spend with Jesus even if you have to get up early to be with Him alone and let Him pour His love in to you so your love tank is full and you have more to share with others. In the same way, exercise profits little, but if we care for the tent we have been given we may feel better and last a bit longer to enjoy this journey we call life. Back in the year 2000 I had major health issues and shared this story in a blog post back in 2013: This is long overdue, but my computer died awhile back and I had to figure out how to rescue this picture. I was amazed at the difference in myself when I saw the two bottom pictures next to each other. A short bit of history... I did not know that I was born with a thyroid issue. My mother was told I had thyroid problems but..."that I would out grow them!" NOT....All through my life as far as we knew I was "fine" according to blood tests. My mom did her best and brought me back to the doctors and told them something was wrong....she hardly eats anything and gains weight, plus a...
Today's Topics: Church Kaffee Klatsch Hebrews Covenant Series Revelation Jesus Deconstruction The End of the Church Age It was a beautiful Sunday morning at the Church building this past week. A time of Worship and a time of listening to the book of Hebrews. “Let us hold on tight to the profession of or faith in Jesus, the better sacrifice.” It tied into the end of the Biblical Covenant Series that finished last week. Since we have come to end, there must be a new beginning, which was announced on last Friday’s Kaffee Klatsch Episode. The Covenant Series ended with an explanation of the time line of the Covenants, which led into a quick explanation of the End Times of this Church Age. While living in this part of History, we can see the world stage being set for the outplaying of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. To myself, and those of you that have read the back of the Book, we already have to answers to many of the worlds questions. We can see the cultural struggle of good and evil clashing before our very eyes. The foundational shift from Biblical thinking where God and His word is the ultimate authority still stand as truth. However, the mind shift of those who are attempting to crack this Biblical foundation, by Deconstructing and chiseling at it’s base isattempting to cause the erosion of the beautiful, abundant life that our God had intended for His children back in the Garden of Eden, in the beginning. On the journey here on Moments with Moni, we will be making a huge leap from the beginning of time, to the end of the Age, into the Book of Revelation! I trust that you have found God’s word to be faithful and true through the account of the Covenants, and can now move onto more of God’s infallible word. As we dive into Revelation, the plan is to take a literal, Historical approach, keeping in mind that this will not discount parable,s symbols, or figures of speech. Scripture, being God breathed, is infallible, however humankind is not. If we come across something that seems like a discrepancy, it is worth our while to dig deeper until we find what we might have overlooked. The prophecy that we will be coming face to face with is a “forth telling of God’s word.” The de-bunking of Christianity tends to include new revelations that may not agree with the scriptures, and in turn will hold no water but will in the end, be burned up like straw. Context is another extrememly important aspect of reading through the Bible. If we take a pre text and turn it into the main text, it is taken out of context. Aside from the studying parameters, there is nothing on the christian calendar that has to happen before the great snatching away of God’s people. However, before you feel the need to turn this off due to disagreement, take the time to walk through the Covenant Series to understand the time frames of different people through world History and world future and beyond. Not all will be on the same path. It is with all my heart I pray for the quick return of Jesus to take His Bride home, and yet, I know that the longer He takes to fullfill this snatching away, His mercy and patience plays out for more time for those who have not repented yet. With each new day on earth there is another opportunity to turn from our own ways, agree with God, and walk with Him, eventually, right into the heavenlies. So I try not to be impatient and use my time widely to share His message of Hope. Revelation is the first book of the Bible that I ever read. It scared the begeebers out of me at 10 years old as I read it under the covers at night with a flashlight. Now some 50 years later, I can say that now that I have read and comprehend more of the rest oof all the Books in the Bible, Revelation brings much needed peace and tranquility even now as the world is in upheaval. Every age has had it’s uphealveals and here we are now amidst the Covid
Friday Episode Categories Kaffee Klatsch: Biblical Covenants to Revelation Well Hello, I’m so glad you’re here! Come on in and have a seat The Kaffee is percolating, and the scones just came of the oven. I’m so happy you are not allergic to nuts, because there are chocolate covered toffee chips in this recipe. Why yes, I can send you home with a few extras for your husband, and a copy of the recipe. First let me hang your coat up. It sure is cold out there. The winter weather advisory was right. Thankfully you only live around the corner, so it’s shouldn’t be too hard for you get back home. You walked?? Well, I guess that is safer than driving today. I hear there is a huge back up of cars on the highway leading up the pass at stateline, with the roads as slick as an ice skating rink. People are stuck in their cars, and some have been waiting more than 4 hours to start moving again! Perhaps we could pray for them before we begin. Dear Jesus, thank you so much for your faithful mercy and kindness towards us. Even through the storms in life You bring peace, as we trust you. Please continue to watch over those stuck on the road, and get them all home safely. Thank you as well for this warm home and time to fellowship with a friend. Amen What’s that? Oh, yes, thank you for asking. I felt so badly having to ask my friends to leave last week. The water main is now fixed! I still have pots and jars filled with water that I am using up since them, rather than wasting it. Thankfully it is now fixed before the deep freeze arrived today. So tell me, what are the questions that you had regarding the New Covenant? Oh, I thought you had a question, no that’s great, of course you can share it with a friend. Who is your friend. Lily, in India? And she works where? Yes, I have heard of that butterfly farm. It’s just amazing to see the butterflies swarm. I’ve seen them swarm in CA a few times, but too cold here in Idaho to see them much. The Butterfly farm in India is beautiful place to visit. No, I haven’t been there. That’s a bit far for me to travel, but I’m happy to hear you are sharing my podcast across the ponds, and over to India. I wonder what it’s like there right now. They are in the southern Hemisphere and in a different time zone so it must be Spring there to our winter, and day to our night. I hear the “air is full of spices” there, and many are turning to believing in Jesus there as well. I’m not sure if their churches are underground. The people seem so beautiful to me, and of course they are to Jesus and He loves them just as much as He loves us. Update on Work in Progress: Song of Solomon Study Work Book Book Recommendations: Ann H Gabhart River to Redemption. I just started reading it on my Kindle and love her voice. She reaches back into the past and gives the main character in her book a beautiful way of sharing the past. (In fact I use the same voice in one of my novels that I’m working on, which is why I recognized it right away) The story begins with a little girl who’s family dies of Chollera in the South, and she narrowly escapes death because of the kind hearted slave of an Inn owner who didn’t seem to be affected by cholera. He buried all the dead, and kept a memory record of who and where he buried them. He and another slave at the Inn, who ran the kitchen, took little Adria in to their care, and nursed her back to health and they are in search of a guardian for her before the owner of the Inn, who just returned now that things are better in town, sends Adria away to a less than ideal situation. I was hooked by the writing on page one, and only 60 pages in but thought I would recommend the book called River to Redemption to you.
Another book recommendation on a more theological bent is Bible Prophecy Answer Book by Ron Rhodes. I have heard Ron Rhodes speak on the Janet Parschall show in the past. What I...
Abrahamic and New Covenant Compared Have you ever felt like living a holy, sanctified, set apart life and being pleasing to the Lord is a waste of time? And to the church God tells us: we are lively stones being built up as a spiritual house…a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that we may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of the darkness and into His marvelous Light. Yes, Jesus really is the light of the world. Does He shine brightly through you? There is a distinction between the Physical Nation of Isreal and the Spiritual Body of Christ. The citizens of Israel are of natural birth and the citizens of Heaven, the Beloved Bride of Jesus is of a spiritual birth. A deeper distinction of the two is the spiritual state of the citizens of each realm. The Nation of Isreal still includes saved and lost souls. Romans 9:6-8
Eclectic Moments with Moni Before the conversational Kovid Kaffee Klatsch with you and I begin, a short story relating the atmosphere of home life as I grew up. Every Friday night as a child, I watched family, friends and neighbors discuss, even argue, politics and religion around the kitchen table, after the dinner meal. At the end of the meal, Mom would raise an eyebrow to the children and we knew it was time to clear the dishes and begin hand washing, drying and putting them away, for no one had heard of an automatic dishwasher back in the 1960’s. There was no need for one, with capable older children in the home, who knew their chores. Mom would put the little ones to bed, and after the dishes were done, the older children would be allowed to stay up a bit longer to read and witness, what is at present, not so commonplace. More adults would arrive after work, and sit elbow to elbow around the formica topped, plastic table cloth covered table. The beer and wine were enjoyed but not abused, while cigarette smoke hung thick in the air. These discussions would continue into the early morning hours. Yet, as if magically, no one was bullied for a differing opinion. No one was threatened with bodily harm. No one cursed, in English. Curses were reserved for the original tongue, for greater emphasis. Fifty years later, I am still teased for not cursing properly. Not that I attempt it on my own in either language, but when pushed because others require a good belly laugh, I’m told to not quit my day job. No matter, I would rather be known for being incapable of such a talent as cursing, then win an award on the subject. Beer, wine, cigarette smoke, and cursing are not a part of Kovid Kaffee Klatch, but the passionate nature of such discussions are still treasured Moments. I am thankful for the "Air that I breathe" today. Let's step into "Other People's Shoes" and walk into 2020, Have you noticed the Election stalemate for now? Ja,ich auch. Yes, me too. God has reminded me that I am to trust Him, to keep my eyes focused on Him, and He so kindly fills me with peace. No I don’t know how the election results will turn out. It looks like it may take weeks to find out ALL that is going on. Just continuing to pray for evil to be exposed and good to take command. And then…..l am reminded of the words I shared on the last Biblical Covenant story regarding the Messianic or New Covenant.
After explaining that Jesus is all we need, The natural conclusion, to the Biblical Covenant Series, was a time line, to remind us of the beginning and ending of each of the Covenants, which brought a time line into our minds eye. So, rather than tip toeing from The End of the Church Age, in which we are living, I jumped into the next thing on God’s Calendar…yup, the snatching away of God’s people, and then 3 1/2 years of trouble and then 3 1/2 years of bigger trouble followed by, well you get the picture. Now we are here on earth with a big X that marks our spot, then all of a sudden, those that love Jesus and have entered into a Covenant Relationship with Him are suddenly gone! Vanished off the face of the Earth. Not only that, but the Holy Spirit that resided and abided within God’s people that were Raptured, will be taken out of the Earth and the restraining power of Good over Evil will also be gone! How’s that for a little lite conversation over Kaffee? Entschuldiung, Pardon me, but as an ENFP, it’s difficult or better said, I’m really not interested in chit chat. Yes as an Extrovert, I love to meet new people and I need to talk with them and dig deeper into who they are and what they are passionate about, just to be able to remember their names! I wanna know what makes you tick. So, after about 15 minutes of what I would call having a great conversation, the possible introvert on the other end feels like they have been under an FBI investigation. Too many
The Messianic Covenant The last few Podcast Episodes have been about the Davidic Covenant and then a reminder of why we were looking into the covenants. It is pictured in the Book of Ruth 3 times and is described as headed love or lovingkindness, loyal love, and is Expressed through actions Expressed as genuine concern for others Demonstrated as strong devotion to another
The Christian Wedding is actually filled with symbolism about the making of a covenant.

The Davidic Covenant: Last time we looked at the Biblical Covenants, we explored the Mosaic Covenant and left the House of Jacob on their way into the Promised Land without Moses. We have now seen the DNA thread weave from Adam to David and we pick up the story in the Book of Samuel Chapter 18 Samuel was a child that grew up taught by the Priests about the ways of God and served God with all his heart ever since Hannah, his mother dropped him off with the Priests after Samuel was weaned at three years old. He obeyed God and grew to be the Priest over Israel. Just as Israel’s past, they made another choice that went against what God had in mind for them. Israel rejected the Priest and wanted a King like the other Nations...

No, no, let’s just keep reading. https://www.momentswithmoni.com/blog/the-mosaic-covenant (Actually, you can read more at my Blog.) The pain of being hurt can be healed. It may take time, but thankfully God is our Great Healer and Physician and holds our hearts and minds in His hands. Come, let's ponder God's healing in the life of Jen as she shares her Testimony with Moni. Jenn Uren lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband, 5 kids (toddlers, tween, teen, and twenty-something!), and no pets (no time!). As she raised her kids, life came at her fast and furious — including a surprise adoption of 2 babies (yep! one day 3 kids, the next day 5) — and she was paralyzed with overwhelm. As she worked to dig her way out of overwhelm, she began to really understand the magic of the right tool or system. She learned how to make things easier so that she could spend less time doing the things she had to do, and more time doing the things that she wanted to do. She began to blog as a way to help other moms do the same. Not by setting out to create her own products or solutions, but by connecting moms to principles, existing products, and encouraging people who could help them use their personal resources (time, space, and money) most impactfully. (And creating systems and tools where there wasn’t one.) In 2021 she will be debuting her podcast "This Mom Knows" where she interviews moms about the things they know well -- from hard topics like grief and loss, to fun things like crafting and traveling You can reach Jen at the following social media sites to learn more about her and her upcoming Podcast. After Hagar returned with Ishmael from running away because of being treated harshly, she submitted herself to Sarai once again. Dave is an improviser, actor, improv coach, speaker, and credentialed minister. He was born in Chicago, but grew up in southwestern Virginia. Much of his improv and acting ability is attributed to his 8 years as a pro wrestler on the independent circuit in the south. In 2013, after nearly two decades of battling with depression and suicidal ideations, Dave finally made the life-changing decision to pursue God. He says, “At that point, I wrestled with this choice: I could take my life…or I could give my life. I chose to give my life to the Lord.” Most of his life, Dave covered his depression with humor. He used it to make others feel better while disguising how he truly felt inside. Dave often tells his testimony by saying, “I used to use comedy to hide who I was, but now I use comedy to reveal Who He is.” Shortly after deciding to pursue a real relationship with God, Dave relocated back to Chicago in 2013. Through his passion for comedy renewed with a deeper purpose, he founded Well Versed Comedy, an improv comedy ministry team. Doing comedy is his primary passion for reaching people, either to uplift and encourage fellow Christians, or to bring light, laughter, and joy to non-Christians. He married his wife Bobbie in June 2015, and they live together in Crest Hill, Ill., with their 3 cats.Links: Gifts for Glory Ministries http://gifts4glory.com/ (gifts4glory.com) Facebook/Twitter/Instagram: @gifts4glory Well Versed Comedy http://wellversedcomedy.com/ (wellversedcomedy.com) Facebook/Twitter/Instagram: @wellversedCMDY Dave Ebert (Acting/Speaking/Improv Coaching) http://daveebert.gifts4glory.com/ (daveebert.gifts4glory.com) Facebook/Twitter/Instagram: @realdaveebert Theme Song, "Brand New" by Brad & Monika Hardy Similar Episodes: https://moments-with-moni.captivate.fm/episode/chris-staron-on-testimonies-with-moni-ep-52 (Testimonies with Moni with Chris Staron) Read more on the Blog: Momentswithmoni.com https://www.speakpipe.com/momentswithmoni?fbclid=IwAR0w66R6UyKn3jBAiJcSPqqWLZSsWNbMrU0G2wFOgSUrBpLqahgz8s2y99E (Leave me up to a 90 second Voice message HERE. ) I'd love to share it on the podcast!

Noahic Covenant Welcome back to Moments with Moni, I’m your Host…..Moni Last time we left Adam and Eve just outside the Garden Eden in their new, animal skin covering, that God made for them. :) Read more about the podcast on the Blog at Momentswithmoni.com The Covenant Series: https://moments-with-moni.captivate.fm/episode/the-covenant-stories (The Covenant Stories #47) https://moments-with-moni.captivate.fm/episode/the-covenant-stories-episode-49 (The Covenant Stories #49 (The Making of a Covenant)) https://moments-with-moni.captivate.fm/episode/overview-of-the-biblical-covenants (Overview of the Biblical Covenants #51) https://moments-with-moni.captivate.fm/episode/the-biblical-covenants-edenic- (The Biblical Covenants, Edenic #53) https://moments-with-moni.captivate.fm/episode/the-covenant-stories-adamic (The Biblical Covenants-Adamic #55) https://www.speakpipe.com/momentswithmoni?fbclid=IwAR0w66R6UyKn3jBAiJcSPqqWLZSsWNbMrU0G2wFOgSUrBpLqahgz8s2y99E (Leave me up to a 90 second Voice message HERE. ) I'd love to share it on the podcast!

Adamic Covenant A short review of the Edenic Covenant from last time: The Ednenic Covenant was a conditional covenant between God and Adam. Testimony with Joseph Dea From Trans Humanist to a possible stroke to a believer and overcomer. The struggle of Faith is real. Thankfully, there were those around Joseph that saw through the facade. A young lifetime journey with change in a moment. A heart transformed, a commitment to marriage, and prayer for direction from the Holy Spirit revealed the need of engaging with God in prayer. A few quotes from Joseph: "Prayer is more than a grocery list" "My goal is to show others my Identity is Beloved, child of God, Kingdom Citizen." In regards to his Co-Host, Edgar, on Buddy Walk with Jesus, "The Dude prays and things happen." "It's one thing to try and fight for justice or unity or equality in a human sense but advocating Christ unity, with the Holy Spirit, under God that's great..i choose to explore the great." "Living in intimacy with Christ is actual living here on earth." Buddy Walk with Jesus on iTunes, Spotify and tune in Thursday nights 7-8 pm on Eternity Ready Radio. The Edenic Covenant Travel back with me in time to before Covid, before 9/11 Before the Gulf War, Before both the World Wars, Before the building of the Ancient pyramids To a time where time began... Two last examples from scripture: Provers 24:30-31 I went by the field belonging to a lazy man, by a vineyard belonging to a senseless person. There it was, overgrown with thistles, the ground covered with thorns, its stone wall collapsed. 2nd... An Overview of the Covenants of the Bible: Edenic: Conditional between God and Adam Adamic: Unconditional between God and fallen humans Noahic: Unconditional for the restoration of all things. All these will be more clear as we continue to study through each of the Covenants in more depth, and we will have a better understanding of the mystery of God's will which is "Christ in you, the Hope of glory!" I had a wonderful time questioning Patrick about his life and was blessed to hear all that he had to share. Life is hard, but God has pulled him up out of the muck of this world, just like He does for others when they surrender their hearts to God Almighty. It doesn't mean life will be all roses and rainbows from here on out, but for those who do surrender, God will never leave them alone. If you are struggling with the weight of life on your shoulders and need to talk with someone, call a friend or family member. If no one understands you, call number below. No matter you are right now, bow your head and God will hear you and He will answer. The National Suicide & Prevention Hotline 1-800-273-8259 One of Patrick’s favorite things to say is “God does not have any grandchildren”. As the son of a pastor, Patrick grew up around church all his youth. But once he was old enough, Patrick stepped away from the church and charted a path on his own out in the world. Through his 20s and 30s, he wandered through various stages of life alone and lost. It was not until he hit rock bottom, after a second failed suicide attempt, did he see the need for Christ as his savior in his life. Once saved, Patrick took his talents and turned them to the work of the Lord. Patrick has served as the Mission Supervisor for his local Rescue Mission since 2017, has been a deacon at his home church and is on the A/V production team since 2015. In 2019, Patrick decided to take his years experience as a wedding DJ and turn it into A Guy and His Bible. Each week, he explores bible passages which have been meaningful and impactful to him the previous week. In his spare time, Patrick is working on obtaining his Associates Degree in biblical studies and enjoys reading (Steve Berry is his go to author) and is an avid music fan, with The Killers, The Beatles, Sister Hazel and Oasis topping his list of all time favorite artists. He is also a self proclaimed Apple Fanboy and shuns any attempt to sway him to Android. The covenants are the DNA strand that ties the whole Book/God’s Plan together. The last of our study through the book of Song of Solomon. During the time when Solomon lived, it was acceptable for relatives to kiss in public when greeting one another, as one would shake hands today, if it weren't for Covid. However kissing a spouse in public at that time was unacceptable or improper. The kiss between husband and wife is an intimate act and was reserved for the privacy of the home. The Bride knew it was disrespectful to show such intimacy in public. The fruit of her life was reserved only for her Beloved. Do we seek the secret chamber, the private place of intimacy and communion with God? What fruit have we to offer in the intimacy of prayer with our God? Analogies in scripture interpret or look like other parts of scripture. There is no need to come up with our own thoughts that may misinterpret the Bible. God does a fine job at it all on His own. Re-unitied in love in the garden, there is much love, mercy and forgiveness. Remember to whom you belong. remember that the eyes of a humble spirit overcome our Beloved! High praise indeed through poetic beauty. Let's not forget to be prepared for the battle along side our Beloved. Dr. Jeffery Elliott, originally from Clarksville, Tennessee is married to his college sweetheart with two grown daughters. He earned his BSEE from Tennessee Technological University and worked as an Electrical Engineer for twenty years. Dr. Elliott has worked in the Dallas, Texas area, Rockford, Illinois, and Seattle, Washington area for such companies as Texas Instruments, Sundstrand, Boeing, Allied Signal, and Honeywell. He earned an M. Div. from what is now Gateway Seminary and a D. Min. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been a pastor for more than twenty years. He has pastored in Washington, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. “I am very concerned by the biblical illiteracy in America, even in our churches. So many reject Jesus based on a false image created by academia and popular media, never knowing the real Jesus. I write to help introduce people to the real Jesus of the Bible.” Dr. Elliott is available to speak at your church or event. You may contact him at RevJDElliott@gmail.com About the book: Have you ever wondered why the Apostles believed Jesus to the point of dying for that belief? In less than fifty years, a pagan world was turned upside down by Jesus fever. Everyone wanted to be like Jesus. His followers were called "little Christs," or Christians. Converts were being added to the local church daily, and the message of the gospel was exciting. But today, Jesus has become a ridiculed figure in society and an embarrassment to Christians. What happened? In Restoring Jesus, you will see the gospels in a fresh light that goes back to the first century to discover who Jesus really is. Author Dr. Jeffery Elliott invites you to think about why the apostles believed in Jesus so strongly that they were willing to die torturous deaths--what made them so confident in Jesus' identity? But through their own eyewitness accounts, we can have our sight restored to the truth and believe in Jesus just as the apostles did. Read ancient prophecies, revel in divine signs, explore eyewitness accounts, and comb through historical documents to find the hidden truth that is missing from the church today. Although many in the church today have had their eyes diverted from the truth of Jesus's identity, you can look to the Word and once again see the powerful, life-transforming truth of Christ.

Here the first half of the Book comes to a close. In answer to the Bride's invitation to the Groom to come into her garden the groom does not hesitate. We meet a surprise speaker at the end of verse 1, some say it is the Father of the Groom. In Hebrew culture, the Wedding Feast would last a week, with the Bride and Groom in private. Then the Groom or the Father of the Groom would announce the marriage consummated. After the announcement, the Wedding guests are invited to drink and eat abundantly, for it is a joyous occasion! We see the Bride and the Bridegroom, the Father, the Wedding guests, family and friends celebrating at the end of the Week long celebration and by analogy, it reveals a deeper sense of the full picture of eternity! Intimate Communion with our Beloved Jesus is portrayed in this episode. His heart is for His Church, His Bride. If you will obey my voice, and keep my covenant, you will be a peculiar treasure (shut up or enclosed wealth) to me above all the earth. Yes, life is hard, and it hurts, but keep your eyes on the prize, the finish line. Worship Him who bought you with His own blood to reconcile you back into His loving arms. Song of Solomon 3:1-5 Broken Communion between the dark skinned beauty and the shepherd King.
Yes, there is a lot of racial tension going on in our country at present.
Yes, God mentioned that in the Bible. This part of scripture refers to the real person down inside the outer shell.
It's the heart that God looks at, just like we should be doing. What color is your heart?

"Intimacy with the Almighty" Series, Song of Solomon 2:8-17. Last week the challenge was to watch and wait for the Lord's return. Well, we are still here so I am continuing my marching orders, and sharing this book with you. The Maiden's comfort zone is being challenged just like the entire World at this moment. She loved fervently in the beginning, but then took her Beloved for granted. What might be keeping us from following after Jesus with our whole heart?

The thrill of romantic love can make one weak in the knees. Our Maiden needs refreshing with apples and raisin cakes, both sweet to the taste. “Love Junkies” who get high on the “thrill” of “love” need help maturing from the attraction phase to the attachment phase of a relationship. Perhaps Hebrew Culture can speak into today's Chic Flick and Prince Charming Era.

Are you familiar with the old song, "Don't sit under the Apple Tree with anybody else but me?" It is a fitting song for the opening of Song of Solomon Chapter 2 as we find the Maiden under the shade of the Apple tree with her Beloved. The Chapter opens with more analogies. As you read through it, look for as, is like, so is and notice the comparisons the author is trying to share with you. In a previous scene, we saw the Maiden asking where she can find rest, and today we find her in peace and comfort in her Beloved's presence. Are you cultivating time away from all the business of life to spend time with the Lover of your soul? Let Your Beloved fill your heart with His worth and wash away your cares, as you find peace and rest in Him.
If you are enjoying this podcast, please share it with a friend. God bless!

Life has changed on a world wide scale, and yet God's word is still as relevant as ever to what we are going through. Our lives have been shaken and we have choices to make. The dreamy eyed, immature shepherdess who began this journey with her eyes on herself, is now beginning to see herself through the eyes of the Shepherd King. When we are faced with the truth of God's word, will we toss down our idols, or hang on tight and stay stuck in the rut of our own rhythms of life. Whatchu gonna do?

Intimacy with the Almighty Song of Solomon Chapter 1:5-7
In our immaturity as young believers, we may not feel comfortable with our natural life being exposed to others. We may feel inferior to others before the Holy Spirit has begun our transformation within. Our trials and hardships may make us feel unlovely but in the eyes of God you are beautiful.

We enter the first chapter of Song of Solomon.
Statistics reveal that many are walking away from the organized church for differing reasons. If we are honest, we can all say that we spend time on and with those that we love. It takes time to cultivate and nourish a relationship. Heaven is only a breath, or lack thereof, away. We will be standing before the God of the Universe soon, face to face. Isn’t it time to know Him and His Word better?
