Just a random off-the-cuff discussion between Seth and Ethan, testing a microphone. Under discussion are The Terminator & Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Alien & Aliens, and Blade Runner & Blade Runner 2049.
Peter Knoch once again joins Seth (Ethan could make this one) to discuss their choices for the best films/performances of the year, as well as their picks for who they think will win.
Peter joins us to wrap up 2020, with our Top 10 movies from 2020, with bonus movies we saw in 2020 but weren't from 2020. Ethan was right on the leading edge of a bad cold, so you just don't know how many coughs I edited out. You're welcome.

This time we briefly discuss a bunch of A24 films. The list includes: Midsommar, The Lighthouse, Uncut Gems, Good Time, Locke, Ex Machina, Moonlight, Lady Bird, and Eighth Grade. I also may have forgotten a couple.
Peter joins Seth and Ethan again to discuss the filmography of Taylor Sheridan.

Seth didn't like Interstellar in the theater. Ethan didn't like Dunkirk. We give them both a second chance.
Seth's nephew Peter Knoch joins us again for a discussion of Commando (1985), The Predator (1987), The Running Man (also 1987!), Total Recall (1990), and True Lies (1994).
This time we take up two films with very different styles, that probably have something to say about masculinity, though one of them has more of a chance to explore that theme. The other one is too busy assaulting the audiences senses and reason.
This time the guys do their homework to prepare for Angel Has Fallen this summer by watching both Olympus Has Fallen (2013) and London Has Fallen (2016).

We're really stretching the definition of Not So Brief reviews here, because the fact is we didn't have much to say about Brightburn. It was disappointing. So tune in to hear us discuss the one or two good points and a couple of ways the film could've been improved.

Ethan and Seth watched Truth or Dare and The Hurricane Heist so you don't have to. Seriously, between these two films there are several minutes of entertainment value. Find out which minutes!

This time, Seth and Ethan take a look at the box office flop-in-progress that is Liam Neeson's latest, Cold Pursuit, which is a shot-for-shot, line-for-line remake of the Stellan Skarsgaard film In Order of Disappearance.
It's a pretty good movie. You should go check it out.
For their first Not So Brief review, Ethan and Seth discuss Glass, M. Night Shyamalan's latest follow-up to Unbreakable and Split.
Note: You'll probably find that our Not So Brief episodes are actually shorter than our Brief ones. That's just how it works, we guess.
