The guys start chapter 7 of their study. They try their hardest to answer the questions of genocide. You know, just taking on the small things.
If God took you to it, He will remind you that it was not because of what you did, but what He has done. God takes the Israelites to the edge of the promised land and reminds them they will be reaping what they did not sow. And that is a merciful thing.
Don and Scott finally discuss the Shema (that is a real word) and then get into talking about the unpronouncable name of God. Along the way they make up a word or two on their own.
Well, we figured out a temporary mic solution, and we finished chapter 5! We promise there is almost no drop in quality this week! It helps when we set the bar low.
