Every born again Christian is able to access the throne of God through the Holy Spirit, God's power, available to all believers. We obtain this through the revelation knowledge and understanding that the Holy Spirit brings forth from God's word, the Holy Bible. This wonderful information and its specific application enables all believers to have complete confidence in God's ability to see them come through successfully, over all the deceptions, obstacles and needs of their daily life. You are an eternal child of God in the hands of His marvellous oversight and power. As long as we trust in Him, alone, He is well able to give, each of us, His victory.
Every person has been given a free will by their Creator God. Our will determines what we will do. It is potentially the most powerful part of our being. With it we determine whether we will like or dislike a particular food, person, activity or way of life. We also make a decision as to what we are going to do, specifically, with our time, our energy, our interests and our gifts or talents. Our most important decisions are made by our will. God has given us freedom to choose. The most important decision we will ever make is whether we are going to either accept Jesus' pardon for our sins and inherit eternal life or whether we will reject His marvellous gift and then travel on our own path way to eternal damnation.
How important it is to seek after or look towards the Lord? This we learn from Deuteronomy chapter 4 verse 29. Israel were to seek the Lord, only. In doing so they would soon find Him for He is not very far away from every human being. Christians are especially blessed because the Lord lives in their inner being, their real spiritual self. Those who search for Him will find Him. We are to long after and search for Him and His ways, with all our spirit and soul. Those who are already born again can find the Lord and His ways through learning verses from His word, the Holy Bible and by reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying His word, everyday.
Everyone who is not born again through repentance of their sins and acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, is under the curse of God's wrath which is against sin and disobedience. Those who are repentant are baptised by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ and become God's own chosen children. All who keep on abiding in God's word, the Holy Bible and also keep on obeying the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit, remain His sons and daughters for eternity. These people are no longer under the curse. All who are unwilling to repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, remain under God's judgement and therefore, under His curse.
Everyone and particularly born again children of God, must be willing to judge themselves before they judge their fellow brothers and sisters. This means judge your thoughts, your speech and your actions. Is what you are thinking or saying or doing according to God's plan and purposes for your life as revealed by the Holy Spirit to your spirit and also according to God's word, the Holy Bible? If not, then be willing to obey the directions of the Holy Spirit and begin changing your lifestyle, in line with God's plan for your life. In some cases it may require a turn of 180 degrees or an about turn and with others only a slight adjustment needs to be made.
Many people in the world, today, do not believe in the resurrection of the dead. Their belief is like the Jewish sect of the Sadducees, of old. We read about their lack of belief in Acts chapter 23 verse 8a. However, there is a mighty resurrection that will take place for all. The spirit or real person of a Christian, who has died, physically, has already been resurrected. Spiritually, all true Christians, were resurrected when Christ arose from the dead and they are already seated with Him, at the right hand of God the Father. For those Christians who are alive, at this moment, on earth, this will be a future event but their spirit person has already been resurrected when they repented of their sins and made Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Lord and Saviour of their life.
Every born again Christian must train their spirit to listen to the wisdom and instructions of their teacher and guide, the Holy Spirit. The person of the Holy Spirit has been sent by the Lord to train and help God's children, to avoid the pitfalls of the fallen world in which every human being physically lives. We are to learn to avoid and overcome the relentless obstacles and lies promoted by the flesh, the world and the devil. In themselves no person is smart enough or knowledgeable enough, to conquer evil. Remember, the Holy Spirit, is your most important helper, as well as your Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counsellor, Strengthener and Standby. He is the greatest aid you will ever know.
It is so important for all born again blood bought believers to put to death the fears and anxieties and disastrous thoughts as well as the deceitful speech of the old person. The sins of our fleshly past must not remain alive to hold us in bondage. After all we are free from the chains of the flesh, the world and the devil. We have our freedom through the resurrection power of Christ, working mightily through the Holy Spirit and God's word, the Holy Bible. It is imperative that we put to death everything that chains us to our past and embrace the fullness of Christ in us and His power available to us through His wonderful glory!
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and have repented of your sins then you are born again as a new creature. You are now a believer and a saint of Almighty God. You have become a new creation who has already inherited eternal life. You are no longer, spiritually, the same person who was born from a human womb, as a baby, birthed with a sinful nature. Upon accepting Jesus Christ you have become born again and now your old Adamic nature, had been born again. You have been recreated as a new spiritual being that has, from that moment on, been justified to live with God the Father, for eternity.
Mankind has been created by God to worship the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Everyone has a spiritual void that needs to be filled by the Holy Spirit and restored to true worship of the Lord with the revelation knowledge that is given by the Holy Spirit. We are able to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, as a true worshipper, by obeying God in every situation we face in life. We must make a special commitment to worship the Lord, according to His plan and purposes as we obey Him through our thoughts, our speech and our actions. To truly worship God we must develop our loving relationship with the Lord and with other people. This relationship must be in whatever situation or circumstance comes our way.
To desire to be like Jesus means that the world, the flesh and the devil, must be put to the spiritual sword. Only Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of God, must be our goal and guide in life. No one can ever be like Jesus unless they repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They must be a born again child of God, their Father, through the shed blood of the Lord, on the Cross of Calvary. Only those who truly aspire to walk in God's ways, as revealed in God's word, the Holy Bible, can ever become like Jesus.
Without any shadow of doubt by far the greatest person who has ever lived on earth, is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, God the Father's only Son. He alone created all the stars and planets and all the natural creation upon earth. This includes all land and oceans and all animals, birds and fish. His greatest creation was and is the creation of every human baby that has ever been born. He has guided mankind through His great inventions and above all shown His great love for all people. This He did by redeeming them from their fallen state and giving them the opportunity of eternal life in heaven.
Every human being begins life after contraception in the mother's womb. After about or just before nine months everyone enters this world corrupted by sin and Satan's lies and deceitful ways. The only sinless being who lived His life on earth, was Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Adam and Eve, the first created beings, were also perfect and god like, in the beginning. Adam was given his authority, as ruler of this earth, by God. However, in the Garden of Eden, Satan deceived Eve into eating fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, which was in the centre of the Garden. God had allowed them to eat fruit from every other tree, but not this one. Adam also ate of the fruit. Immediately, their inner being or spirit, became corrupted. They disobeyed God so sin then entered the world through them. They had inherited a sin nature and its effects spread abroad throughout all of God's perfect creation
Sometimes we find ourselves in a literal dark place in life. At night we sometimes have to get up when all outside and inside is dark with little or no light. It is important not to stumble or fall. The world we live in is full of darkness and often hard to find the right way to go. There appears to be no light switch to lighten our way and show us what is the right thing to do. An electrical switch will make little or no difference to our pathway in life. However, there is a great light that can change our circumstances forever. This switch is available to us through the light of God's ways as revealed through His word, the Holy Bible. This knowledge is revealed by the Holy Spirit and brings the light to our spirit, our inner person.
In order to maintain a vibrant life channel with God, all Christians must spend quality time, in prayer. It is the very oxygen, our real life blood and connection with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Prayer needs to be consistent and based on God's word, the Holy Bible. Prayer must be a daily practice. It must also be a two way meeting place where we pray to God and our spirit hears from God. To be really effective, every Christian must be obedient and put into practice that which the Holy Spirit directs them to do. A true prayer channel must have the willingness of the participant to bring every plan or need before God's throne.
To be seated is to be ready, not to be anxious, but also to be prepared and to know and to be confident that you are in the right place, at the right time. Christians have their total confidence in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Right now and into the eternal future, their peace is secure. They are not worried or concerned by the strife occurring in the darkness in the world around them. God's children have escaped the snares of the flesh, the world and the devil. Their lives are full of God's transcending peace. They desire to do God's will and purposes and nothing else.
To follow someone means that you accept what they stand for and who they are and you are willing to put it into action. You desire to be like them and put into daily practice what they believe and what they do. They and their way of living becomes the role model for your life. In every day life there are people who are often leaders in their field of endeavour who become role models of society. Often they are considered people worthy enough to be imitated for their integrity and performance. For all born again blood bought Christians our role model must always be Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We learn to become disciples and follow Him and His word, the Holy Bible.
The greatest kingdom is the kingdom of God. The place where God desires to share all His goodness with His people. Those who are obedient to carry out His will and purposes are those who are already members of His Kingdom. They are repentant, forgiven, blood bought children filled with the Spirit of God. These people desire to follow the Lord and do what He has commanded for their lives, day by day. Already they are carrying out and fulfilling, in Christs name, the truth and goodness of the will of God. These people have already become citizens of the kingdom of God.
Mankind is a tripartite being composed of a spirit, soul and a body. His spirit is the only part of his being that can be recreated, after repentance of sins and acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They thereby become capable of communicating with God, through the Holy Spirit. The soul of a person consists of their mind for thinking, their emotions for expressing their feelings and their will for decision making, and of course their body, their exterior house. Our will is the part of our soul that chooses and determines our pathway in life. It chooses what we will say and what we will do.
All born again, blood bought Christians, inherit, through the Holy Spirit, their recreated spirit, which is enabled to become, in Christ, more than a conqueror. We are well able to conquer the flesh, the world and the devil. This also includes the ability, of our spirit, to subdue bad thoughts, uncouth speech and harmful and violent actions. Our body, as well as our mind, our will and our emotions, need to become subservient to our recreated spirit. In order to do so our spirit must remain obedient to the Holy Spirit's revelation and knowledge that reveals the word of God, the Holy Bible. This needs to become a continual victorious practice. If you sometimes fail, repent and then keep on prevailing.
Our enemy, Satan, is always trying to convince God's children, that they are not good enough to really be children of Almighty God. This is done by planting false thoughts in their minds and bringing back situations concerning things that were wrong in the past. The good news is that Jesus has already paid the price for our sins and for everyone in the entire world. All who have repented of their sins have had their past iniquities washed away by the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit then came to reside in their inner person or spirit and from that very moment, they became a child of God, by faith in Jesus, destined for eternal life and everlasting glory.
Satan is an inveterate liar and all he does is done in deception. All who do not worship Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour live in his kingdom of darkness. This kingdom is founded on lies and is full of his deceptive ways. Those who follow him, without consideration for God and His ways, remain in spiritual darkness. They are deceived into either believing that there is no hell and eternal punishment and if there is a heaven, they will get there on their own merits. This means believing whatever they like as long as it agrees with their unregenerate spirit. God's word has no relevance in their thinking or their way of life.
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the almighty Trinity of God. Who together as one Holy Being, rule the universe from the eternal heavenly throne. They are in charge of all the affairs of mankind that are currently placed in their hands. As well, all circumstances, are overseen by Him. This situation continues on for yet a little while until all people and beings are judged at the white throne judgement. On this occasion the devil and his demonic beings and all of mankind who reject God's grace and love and His forgiveness, will be eternally judged. Because the names of these people are not found written, in the Lamb's Book of eternal life, they will be sent to everlasting hell in the never ending, lake of fire.
Whatever you are believing for confess God's word over the required object or event that you desire. You must believe that what you say will come to pass. Make sure that when you say God's word over the situation, that it is what God desires for your life. When you know that it is God's will and purpose then earnestly confess His word over what you desire. As you keep on confessing God's word your faith level will rise to the point that you will know with certainty that what you are praying for, will come to pass. If you keep thinking and confessing bad things to happen, that's what you will get! It is important to always praise and thank God for His continual goodness towards you. When we trust in God and His word, we already know that it has come to pass, in the spiritual realm
Whoever desires to know the true path of life must live and walk according to the revelation knowledge of God. This knowledge of His precepts and commands can only be found in God's word, the Holy Bible. No wisdom or understanding given by mankind, alone, can reveal the path to everlasting life. Not only does God's word show you the path of eternal life but also how you are to live your life, on earth. To gain this most wonderful gift of eternal life we must first acknowledge Jesus Christ, as your personal Lord and Saviour. Then you must be willing to repent of your sins and seek His forgiveness. Always be willing to be obedient and walk in His ways.
Every person who has ever lived or is living now or will be born in the future was is and will be able to be redeemed. There are no exceptions to God's mercy and grace. You and everyone else is included in God's wonderful plan to reconcile His fallen creation to Himself. This has been made available through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross, at Calvary, nearly two thousand years ago. This is an everlasting reconciliation for all who are willing to repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. These people have already or will become inheritors of His eternal life and blessings, for evermore.
Everyone who lives on planet earth has been created by God and have one of two possible eternal destinations. These two destinations are either heaven or hell. There is no in between . It is either one or the other. Heaven is full of goodness and eternal peace and hell is full of the devil's treachery and pain. Both places are the final destination of the real you – your eternal spirit. Your old body is only for your habitation upon earth. The choice of where you live forever, belongs to you. If you repent of your sins then you inherit eternal life, through Jesus Christ.
Christians lose out because they fail to keep their eyes on the Lord and His word, the Holy Bible. This means they fail to remain steadfast in their love for the Lord and their desire to obey his will and purposes for their life. It really matters to be obedient and diligent in intercessory prayer and in your daily learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all the situations you are involved in. Always find out what God requires and then obey and hold fast to all that the Lord desires you to do. Don't look at other people or situations but keep holding on to what ever the Lord has told your spirit to do, and do it His way, only.
Every Christian must learn to live and walk by faith. Where do Christians get their faith? All Christians can obtain and develop their faith by learning from God's word, the Holy Bible. This needs to be on a daily basis of reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word to all their circumstances and situations. There is no other way to obtain and develop your faith except through God's word. No amount of overcoming situations as a result of life's battles will give you sustaining God like faith. Your faith must have a sincere, sound foundation. That foundation must always be God's word, alone.
In order to tell other people about the wonders of God's salvation, we must be willing to preach and teach God's word. Without teaching the word of God, the Holy Bible, you'll never get the major benefits that God intends you to have. The Lord's example is so practical and also so necessary. Jesus knew what was so important. It was to show people the reality of God's great mercy and demonstrate His almighty power. Many people of Israel, just as many people in our world today, were sick and weary of life. Jesus came to give them new hope and a new life.
We read in Psalm 103 verses 2 to 4 that we should always praise the Lord lovingly, for all His daily blessings upon us. He pardons us from all our sins so that we do not have to fret or fume about wrong thoughts, speech or actions from our present or even our past situations or circumstances. We are completely healed because He heals our spirit, our soul and our body. It is a simple but remarkable result of our repentance and His forgiveness that allows His mercy and compassion to flow to us. All our diseases, physical or mental, can be healed. This means not just some but all. Our very life is redeemed from lack and disease and from eternal damnation in hell.
The human body requires consistent drinking of water if it is to remain healthy. The brain needs consistent thinking through and gaining solutions to every day problems to remain highly functional. The spirit of a person also requires stimulation in order for a person's interest to be fostered by listening to what the Holy Spirit is telling us. When the spirit of a person is reborn from above it is filled with the wonder of the Holy Spirit. To keep charged with the desire to fulfil God's will and purposes it very much needs a constant infilling of the anointing and empowering of God, based on His word.
A stubborn attitude towards God and His word, the Holy Bible, is a very dangerous stand to take. Those who keep pursuing this rebellious pathway and never repent, become like Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. We read from Exodus chapter 13 verse 15 that Pharaoh the king of Egypt, became stubborn and would not let the children of Israel, leave the land of Goshen. God allowed all the first born males of man and beast, in Egypt, to be killed. God had told Pharaoh through Moses, to let His people go. Pharaoh, however, hardened his heart and would not let God's people go. The result for Egypt was disastrous. Every person who is not born again must realise their own disastrous position, today. It is imperative that everyone repents of their sin and accepts Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and are thereby able to inherit eternal life. Everyone who is stubborn and won't repent, will be damned and go to eternal hell.
Every born again Christian is an eternal saint of the Lord. A saint is a human being that has been saved and has been sorry for their sins and has repented of them. God has forgiven them and their sins have been washed away through Christ's blood shed on the Cross, at Calvary. As a result the Holy Spirit has renewed their spirit or inner person and in the name of Jesus Christ and to the honour and glory of the Father, they have been granted everlasting life, from that time onwards. Throughout their life on earth they may make serious mistakes or have even wilfully sinned but whenever they repent they are restored to full fellowship rights, with the Father because of Jesus' sacrifice, on their behalf. It is important that every Christian truly repents of their sins and endeavours to live a sanctified life and not to keep on, habitually sinning, as a way of life.
When we board a train in London or Perth, and most likely other cities as well an announcement is made to mind the gap. For all mature Christians it is very important that they are involved in intercessory prayer. What do you mean? I mean prayer where the Holy Spirit lays a burden upon your spirit to intercede on behalf of another person or situation, that you may know about. It may be for a marriage partner or a child or children in your family. This burden could be also for another family, for a church, for a work mate or even for the government or your own city or country. You will have a deep groaning in your spirit to pray unceasingly for the person or situation involved. A burden from the Lord will keep you standing in the gap, in intercessory prayer, until the victory is won.
What is already finished ? Satan's complete domination over most of mankind lasted for about four thousand years. His power and the power of his marauding host of demons was brought to a crushing end about April, 30AD. For the past two thousand years man has been able to live in overcoming freedom, from Satan's deceitful lies and violent treachery. We learn about the destruction of Satan's power and the victory of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, from Colossians chapter 2 verse 15. The real problem that man is faced with is that they either don't know they are completely free or they only embrace part of God's freedom for them or even, much worse, they completely reject His wonderful deliverance.
As you mature in your Christian walk you will have probably listened to, at least hundreds of sermons with many glimpses of sound biblical teaching and wisdom. At times in your life, you may not receive as much knowledge as you desire or need. It is essential that you don't lose track of where you are, spiritually. Keep listening to your spirit or inner person. The Holy Spirit will convict you of where you are at and will bring back to your spirit who will then inform your mind, concerning those things from God's word which are pertinent to your current spiritual situation. Hold on and grasp with both hands the eternal values that will guide you, right now.
We read from John chapter 19 verse 30 that Jesus made a full and complete sacrifice on behalf of mankind. It was finished! What was finished? His full and complete sacrifice the complete and eternal salvation of man, from sin, for all who were willing to believe. Jesus then gave up His spirit into the hands of His Father. His reason for coming to earth was now complete. From then on man was able to repent from his sins and be saved and to be rewarded, through God's grace and unmerited favour. This reward was beyond man's understanding; the free gift of eternal life. Man could not and should not try to add to and take away from the mighty work of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
Everyone who surrenders their life to the Lord, by repenting of their sins and accepting Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour, becomes at that very moment, a new creation. Each one becomes a child of the living and holy God. At that point they are changed from glory to glory. Their real person, their inner spirit, is created a new person. No longer do they have a corrupted spirit unable to discern spiritual good from evil. No longer are they treading the slippery slope to hell and eternal damnation. They have already inherited eternal life and have been granted God's richest blessings, for evermore. Their whole future life has changed!
Know that everyone, Christian or otherwise, is in a spiritual battle. Whether you have victory or not, depends on whether you are in Christ. It is a battle in which Satan, the devil, is trying to destroy God's creation through vain thoughts, lies, deceptive words and evil actions. Satan hates God and His creation. One time he wanted to be God but there is only one true, eternal, Almighty God. In our battle, as God's children, we must only choose God given weapons. Man's earthly weapons, even those of sophisticated modern warfare, are all useless in winning our spiritual battle. Our weapons are mighty in destroying Satan's strongholds in our life, our family, our church, our government and our country. God given weapons are always spiritual and never carnal so that we can be truly victorious and not defeated.
Our loving God is all powerful, all knowing and able to be everywhere, at the same time. This means He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Yet He is absolutely full of loving kindness, mercy and compassion, to all who call upon His name. It is only because of His great grace, demonstrated through His great love, that He desires to help people, in their plight, while they live on earth. God is able to keep and save us to the uttermost. He is also well able to help us solve all our problems and to guide all who trust in Him.
Our God, the Creator of the universe, is a God of immense love. He is the originator of all true compassionate, saving and caring love. Without Him, there is no real deep love, in this deceptive world of darkness. Christians can only love because the love of God dwells in them, because of Him and operates through their spirit. Most of the original compassionate organisations were founded upon the love of God flowing through merciful and loving Christians.
The God whom all Christians serve, is above all, a God of love. He cannot be anything else because God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are together, the great source of all pure love. Our Lord desires, above all else, that His born again children walk in love, towards Himself and towards each other. All who truly love are born again of the Spirit of God. Our very thoughts and our attitudes, as well as our speech and our actions, must be founded on the love of God. No other kind of love will be able to successfully see us through our earthly journey.
John chapter 3 verses 16 and 17 informs us that Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary, for the whole world. Why was this so? It was because God loved all of mankind, whom He created and did not want any to perish. Everyone remains a condemned sinner until they repent of their sins and become born again children of God. All that believe on Him and His word, then gain eternal life. Jesus didn't come to the earth to condemn the world but rather, that all might be saved. He desired that everyone would become part of His eternal family. Unfortunately, the majority of people, have rejected the call of the Holy Spirit, to repent of their sins. This means that they keep living under the dark cloud of God's anger and not the blessings of His forgiveness.
Every person is made in the likeness of God. I am particularly referring to their spirit or inner person, the real you. Man is like God in that he can communicate with God and with other people in a spoken language, utilising his tongue. This makes man unique and without parallel on earth. How we think is often how we speak and sometimes how we act or react. We can communicate with our Creator using an angelic language or as many people do, in the common vernacular or dialect where they were born or now live. Being able to communicate, so as to be understood, with God or with each others, is a marvellous gift. Most other created creatures can communicate with another of the same species but not with God.
According to God's word, the Bible, most people in the world live under the deception of the fallen angel, Satan, commonly known as the devil. The world is full of lies and deceptions because Satan is the god of this world and at this moment, not our gracious Father in Heaven. Satan rules directly through demons or compliant world leaders, who are also often deceived by the devil. These people or organisations are usually in controlling positions of large corporations and financial institutions. Their influence or evil control is felt or even mastered in governments and extends into the fields of education and medicine as well as societies and media promoting deceptive information.
Our wonderful God has given everyone the opportunity of making their personal choice to choose their eternal location. We are told to choose God, the Creator of all mankind and the entire universe. However, we are also able to choose our own way which leads to destruction and damnation, in an eternal hell. If we willingly choose God we choose forgiveness of our sins and eternal life in heaven. Our own choice leads us into everlasting bondage and slavery to Satan. Doing things God's way, gives us freedom, love, joy, peace and righteousness now and forever more. Our eternal choice is made through our will.
No blood bought born again Christian need ever have a spirit of fear nor a fretful mind. Read, meditate upon, confess and apply God's word to all your daily circumstances. Keep paying and listening to the Holy Spirit's directions, for your life. Above all keep your eyes fastened on the Lord and do not be distracted away from God's plans and purposes for your life. Each day keep walking according to God's will and goals that He has set before you. Always be obedient to the word the Lord has taught you and always praise and rejoice, in the Lord and anxiety and fear will have to leave.
You Must Learn to Forgive Each born again blood bought child of God must always learn to forgive each other, whether family members, relatives, other Christians and particularly, those who are not saved. They must be willing to forgive intended nasties of speech and/or actions, as well as outright mistakes or even a lack of understanding, by other people. God the Father, through the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, has totally forgiven every person, who has ever lived or is living or will live, on planet earth. It is open to each individual person to willingly receive God's great pardon of forgiveness for themselves. Today is the time to forgive, not later on, it may be too late.
It is so important that all those who are born again blood bought children of God, learn to call upon the name of the Lord. Not only do we call upon His name for our petitions but also to give the Lord our thanks, for His goodness to us. It is also Don't only just call on His name in times of stress and need but also make it a habit to daily uplift His name, early every morning. Always pray and read, meditate, confess and apply God's word, rather than only just as a resort for man's need of God's help. the Holy Spirit will always give you the best answer for every situation in your life.
Repent means to be willing to change your direction in life from walking in the ways of the flesh, the world and the devil and to begin walking in God's ways. In geometrical terms this means turning from a point of 0 degrees to one of 180 degrees- a complete about turn. This also means a willingness, on the part of every unsaved person, to repent of their former sins and lifestyle and to become a completely new person, in their spirit, cleansed by Christ's shed blood. They also must be wiling to leave the kingdom of darkness, controlled by Satan and be willing to enter the kingdom of light, under the redeeming, resurrection power of God's dear Son, Jesus Christ.
The children of God Almighty, ruler of the heavens and the earth, are the most blessed beings in the universe. God's children have lived in every age that mankind has existed. However, nobody became a child of God as a son or a daughter until Jesus Christ rose from the dead. He then gave life to the spirits of every person, who repented of their sins and then believed in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They have, since Christ's resurrection, been rewarded with the amazing gift of sins' forgiven and eternal life. All these people have access, while on earth, to all of God's wonderful blessings.
The Triune God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. No one is able to give directions to God nor can they act as His counsellor to teach Him. We learn about our God from Isaiah chapter 40 verse 13. All the wisdom we require comes to us from our Lord, through the Holy Spirit. Don't do things your way but according to the revelation knowledge and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He always confirms God's word as the basis for our life.

Every born again, blood bought child of God, is well able to hear and listen to and obey, the instructions of the Holy Spirit. This needs to be daily, preferably, early in the morning. It is so important for God's children to always be led by the Holy Spirit, for then they have a direct connection with Jesus and God the Father. Each child of God must discipline themselves to read God's word and meditate upon it and also confess and apply it to their daily circumstances as the Holy Spirit gives them greater revelation knowledge. This enables them to be able to carry out God's will and purposes, for their lives, rather than be sidetracked by the deceitful practices of the flesh, the world and the devil. What a wonderful difference this will make to them and to their lives!
Jesus came to earth with the expressed divine purpose of restoring all fallen mankind to a righteous relationship with Him that God had intended man to have with Him from the beginning. At first, Adam and Eve, had a perfect, sinless , relationship with the Lord in the Garden of Eden. However, they believed the lies of the devil and then became sinners, with a sin nature. All of creation now was fallen from God's perfection. Jesus, came as our Redeemer, to reverse the fallen nature of creation. All who believe in Him and His word, are made whole again and are able to inherit spiritually, that which Adam and Eve had lost. Those who repent from their sins and believe God's word for their salvation, are now restored to become God's children.
We can read about the parable of the Sower in two passages from the gospels of Matthew and Mark. I am going to discuss the parable of the Sower as written in Mark chapter 4 verses 11 to 20. Jesus often spoke to the people in parables and even His disciples were perplexed by some of Jesus' meanings. Parables were told, by Jesus in His ministry, to illustrate a spiritual meaning. They were earthly stories with a much more profound heavenly meaning. Jesus told His disciples, that He had given them an understanding of the mysteries of the kingdom of God.
Every born again, blood bought child of God, must be ready to wear God's spiritual armour, every day. This is so we can effectively battle and defeat the flesh, the world and the devil. Satan and his demons are very cunning, cruel and deceitful beings who are always on the lookout to try and entrap all of creation, particularly mankind into carrying out their evil plots. In order to have full and proper weaponry, to win our daily victory, we must be prepared to wear and use God's armour. His wonderful overcoming armour proceeds through the power of God's word and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Be ready and prepared and you will win!
Real faith only becomes real when people act upon what the word of God and the Holy Spirit tells them to do. You can think and say as much as you like, there is nothing wrong with thinking and saying God's word, on a consistent daily basis. It is so important that your spirit becomes strong on the word and acts upon it in the belief that God's word will give them complete victory. Faith without works is dead. All real godly faith must be based on God's word. It must not remain head knowledge but must be acted upon to produce godly results. Every born again believer must be a faith doer of the word of God.
Every healing and every miracle that Jesus did was through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. How do we know this? We know because the word of God, the Bible, tells us so. Every Christian is able to do the work of the Holy Spirit because of God's anointing in them. Without the anointing, whatever prayer or deed that they do, will not bring glory to the Father, in Jesus' name .All of God's work must be carried out, as the Holy Spirit wills. It is the anointing that breaks the yoke. No amount of praying or personal effort, will ever supplant the anointing of the Holy Spirit?
God created mankind to be His family. People were created to worship the Lord and to obey Him. As long as they did so He would provide for them, bless them and give them wise counsel. God would be their Father and they would be His children and they would relate to Him, as a family on earth should relate and fellowship with one another. Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 informs us that we were created as god like beings. God gave Adam, the first man, dominion over all creation. Adam and Eve, were to have children and their children were to multiply and fill the earth.

Jesus is coming again and considering the wicked shape the world is in right now and the biblical indicators of the world's condition just before His return, we can be strongly assured that His return is very close. Many people think that it is just a few years and certainly no longer than a few decades, before this present world is wrapped up for good. The important thing for all Christians and the world, at large, is to be ready for the Lord's amazing, yet without doubt, return. He said He would return and the indicators of His return are now more than ever being witnessed by the world around us.
As God's own sons and daughters we must always be seeking ways to minister to the Lord. We must be willing to give Him first place in our lives, every day. This means from wake up in the morning to bed time at night. Often, even during the hours of sleep, we can wake up and spend time worshipping the Lord and seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance. We worship the Lord in thankfulness for His goodness to us, by our praise and worship in word or song and by loving Him for who He is and what He has and is and will do in our lives. It is essential to be obedient to His will and purposes as revealed to us through God's word and the directions of the Holy Spirit.
Every born again, blood washed child of God, has been given right standing in Christ, before God's throne in heaven. They have all been awarded the free gift of righteousness and its accompanying gift of eternal life, with the Lord. No Christian can work their way to heaven. It is because they have accepted Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour and repented of their sins, that the marvellous gift of God's righteousness has been bestowed upon them, on their behalf. This righteousness was enabled through belief and repentance by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, on the Cross of Calvary. No one by themselves or any other person or by any other means can do so because it is only through Christ that we can be made righteous.
Christians are commanded by the Lord to go into all the world, collectively, to become witnesses of His saving grace. We are to learn from God's word, the Bible, what to tell others that need to know of God's grace and about their personal need of eternal salvation. All who are genuine followers of Jesus Christ must be willing to go to their part of the world as faithful witnesses. Some will go as far as their neighbourhood and some to other parts of the country and some to overseas countries. Whatever the individual case, our job is to let people know that Jesus Christ, alone, is the Lord and Saviour of this world.
Everyone's life must and should be undergirded by their faith. Your real basis for faith is not your circumstances of even the things God has enabled you to overcome in your life but rather a constant development of your faith, based on God's word. Those Christians, who regularly, every day, read God's word, meditate upon God's word, confess and apply God's word, are the ones who become faith champions. Not only are they armed to overcome, in their circumstances but they are also able to help other Christians in their own situations. Their faith enables them to be a blessing, through the Holy Spirit's leading, to the church as a whole.
Through Christ's sacrifice on the Cross ,His people have been reconciled to Himself, that is all who will believe in Him and His word. This is a universal reconciliation of things in heaven and things on earth. We were once enemies of God and therefore alienated from Him, by our evil works and all those of mankind. However, the most wonderful reconciliation was enabled to take place, for all, forever. Christ's shed blood provided a way for mankind to be able to have eternal peace. This is the peace of God that is beyond human understanding.
Our lives have eternal life because Jesus Christ shed His blood, on the Cross of Calvary, for all who are willing to repent of their sins and except the Lord as Their Saviour. Real life, that lasts forever, is enabled through the shed blood of Jesus. His blood is so powerful that it cleanses the very being of mankind from all their impure and evil thoughts and deeds. Particularly your past mistakes and deliberate sinful acts, no longer exist, for God has forgiven and forgotten the sins of everyone who genuinely repents. These people turn their hearts to faithfully follow and obey, God's word, through the Holy Spirit's revelation knowledge.
Every Christian, who is truly born again, will desire to be like Jesus and follow in His footsteps. They will pray constantly for His will and purposes to be revealed to them and then be willing to obey the Holy Spirit's directions. Their constant desire will be to praise and worship the Lord to the honour and glory of the Father. Those that love the Lord will be filled with His love for other people. They will be overflowing with His mercy and compassion towards all those in spiritual, physical or mental need and will desire to see them healed and delivered.
It is most important that all born again, blood bought children of God to be willing to walk in God's ways and have day to day intimate fellowship with the Father and His Son,, Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit. We must yield all to the Lord and be obedient to the Holy Spirit's directions and the word of God, the Bible. This will enable honour and glory to flow to our heavenly Father. There can be no more satisfying life on earth than knowing God's will and purposes for your life and adjusting your focus, where necessary, so that you become completely absorbed and fulfilled in Him.
In life, over a period of time, most people can become very anxious, because of adverse circumstances and situations. Anxiety comes from a deep seated root of fear. This can be caused by a fear of failing, in life. Things get you down because they are not working out the way you thought they would. Even for many Christians, anxiety can be a major problem. fear can cause both anxiety and even depression. It can be a fear of driving your car or not being able to handle your job confidently or not having sufficient funds to pay the family bills or that you and your family might catch the latest virus. The source of being anxious occurs when the devil and his demons get hold of your mind and emotions. However, those who are in Christ, can have overcoming victory.
Christians are to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and by the word of God, the Bible to carry out God's will and purposes in their life. We all need to live the life that God alone has created for us to live.. All Christians are anointed by God to share God's word and make disciples of people from all ethnic backgrounds, as the Holy Spirit leads and guides them. These people are to be baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This power is available to them in the mighty name of Jesus.
At the moment you may be walking the dog or be huddled by a fireside or heater or driving your car to work or to visit friends or relatives. Everyone is always involved in some activity much of the time. However, there will one day, come a final cessation to all earthly endeavour. No one knows exactly when this will occur. The important aspect of each person's life is where is their destiny, what is their final goal, what is it they are really trying to achieve with the life that God the Father, has given you? After life is finished on earth there are only two possible destinations- heaven or hell.
Everyone who repents of their sins and has a genuine acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, becomes a child of God and their renewed spirit has become an entirely recreated person. This new person desires to follow Jesus and to be obedient to Him. This new person wants to cultivate and grow their new person, in relationship with the Lord, by daily reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying His word to all life's situations and circumstances. This new person also wants to pray and believe by faith that God is and will answer their prayers.
There is something about royalty that is very satisfying to the human person. Perhaps it is being in charge or seeming to give stability. It may be having others wait upon you or having all your physical needs met. Whatever is the real reason, most people would be delighted to be considered for a royal blue blood position or inherit royalty by birth. As born again Christians we have now arrived and are positioned into the greatest royal family in the universe, the family of God. You are sons and daughters of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. For those who are blood bought heirs He is worshipped and obeyed. His royal rule is not for just a few years but forever.
Everyone should be growing in God's glory and every true believer in Jesus must be growing into the glory of His likeness. Each one must make a quality, wholehearted decision, to follow the Lord, daily. Make time to read a portion of God's word, the Bible and then meditate upon the wealth of understanding found there. Confess God's word over your circumstances and apply to all the situations of your life. Always keep praying for the breaking off of Satan's power and always keep praising and thanking the Lord for His goodness to you and your family.
Only in Jesus Is There Complete Freedom. It is so important to realise, that only in Jesus will any person have complete freedom. This freedom is for everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. When they repented of their sins their very thoughts, speech and actions became eternally cleansed and washed away, by the Lord's shed blood, on the Cross. Any time each person genuinely repents of a wrong thought, word or action, they are completely cleansed and made whole. Satan and his demons are constantly endeavouring to remind people of former sins, but thank God when a person repents, they are made completely free. God not only forgives but their iniquities are also forgotten. Repentance brings absolute freedom to all who are willing to believe.
What does redeemed mean? It means that you have been purchased or bought back by the Lord. You have been taken out of the kingdom of darkness and have been placed in the Kingdom of light because you repented from your sins and have had them cleansed and washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ. Now you are a child of God and belong to the family of God and have been given the gift of eternal life. Your old sinful nature has been replaced by your redeemed spirit, which enables you to live a new life in Christ.
Whether we are aware of it or not, discipline is an important part of most peoples' everyday life. We need to be disciplined in order to get up and catch our bus or train to work or to make sure that when we drive our car, we can get there on time for our job situation or doctor's appointment. Children are trained from an early age to get to school on time and back home after school. We really cannot live our life properly, if we do not practise, at least, some type of discipline. Our everyday work demands that we are disciplined in the use of skills required to carry out our work procedures.

What does Stand fast mean? It means to stand firm on the foundations that you believe. In this case, whatever is proclaimed in God's word, the Bible. Throughout our life, particularly as we become adults, we learn to stand for various issues that affect our personal lives and those of family members and close friends. Often we take one side of an argument against another as well as standing against the tyranny of evil people and sometimes just plain obstinate relationships, is a part of everyone's life. When we go to the election booth to vote, we learn to take a stand for the things that we regard as being important. As Christians we must learn to stand our ground against all the evil that comes our way, through the flesh, the world and the devil.

Everyone on planet earth needs help; some more than others. The important issue is that you cannot do many things by yourself. What is even more important is an ability to recognise when you really need help. Mankind has been created to worship their Creator. Without God's help, you plainly will never really make it. Salvation can be had by every person who is willing to repent from their sins and accept, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour. Those who are willing to hear and obey the Holy Spirit's promptings to their spirit, are the blessed people who will receive the help they so desperately, need.
Where your heart or inner person is will determine where your treasure is. If your heart is focused on your circumstances or your income or your possessions or a particular talent or skill, then that's where your heart is. If your heart is inclined to God and to righteousness and truth, that's where your heart and also your treasure is. Listening to the Holy Spirit, as He gives you instructions from God's word, is a very important factor, in determining how well your life will be and how much you will overcome, the flesh, the world and the devil. Being obedient to the Lord, will allow your heart to rule and be fully satisfied.
It is so important that each child of God allows the ears of the inner person or their spirit to hear what the Holy Spirit is telling them to do. The Holy Spirit connects with your inner person and the inner person then relays God's wisdom to your mind or intellect. So many people are only listening to information from the pulpit or television programs or DVDs with their outer person or mind. Remember, it is always important to hear what God is saying through your inner voice or person to truly understand God's will and purposes for your life.
We have recently witnessed the faithfulness to duty, of Queen Elizabeth 11, of the United Kingdom and the British Commonwealth. She was faithful for more than seventy years to her loyal subjects and her innumerable duties. Previously she had committed herself to Jesus Christ, as her Lord and Saviour. With each individual person, who has given their life to the Lord, God requires everyone to be faithful to Him and His word. To be really faithful, we must be truly obedient, to Him.
God is not only willing to forgive us our sins but also to forget that they have even existed. We must follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ and do the same. When we repent of our sins God forgives us and sees us as righteous, through the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the Cross. We are not only forgiven but our sins and trespasses are forgotten. All who truly repent have their name recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life. We now have become one of God's children, inheriting His eternal life. God forgives us so we also must be willing to forgive the careless and even premeditated sins against us, by other people.
It is so important for everyone to realise, that as God is the Creator of all things, He is therefore the final authority, over the lives of all that live in heaven, earth and hell. There is no true authority or power apart from the Father, Jesus Christ, God's Son and the Holy Spirit. The triune- three in One, is the final arbiter of all creation. When our spirits and our souls know that this is the real truth, of of existence, then we are able, through our will, to make a decision to serve God or not to do so.
Throughout their life people are constantly trying to enter new ways or paths. It maybe to overcome a bad habit or it could be trying to enter a higher level of learning or to gain a greater interest in a skill or pastime. Perhaps it is pursuing a better career or getting married or overcoming an illness or a lack of financial wealth. In every instance, there is a key, that will unlock the lock that will enable you to open the door or pathway, in life. It is so important to find the right key that unlocks the lock. God's keys are by far the most important to know about or have in your possession
Our righteousness means our right standing before the throne of our Father God. We can only have right standing before the Father through the righteousness that Jesus purchased for His children by His shed blood. When we repented of our sins and acknowledged Jesus Christ, God's Son, as the Saviour and Lord of our life, then we became a child of God. This means we are now, able to inherit eternal life. We have been made righteous in Him.
All who carry out God's will and purposes in their lives, must be appointed and anointed by the Spirit of God. With the anointing God's children are enabled to break off the entanglements and deceits of sin and set themselves and others, free from the shackles and bondage of Satan and his demonic hordes. True spiritual freedom can only come to those who ae set free, by the anointing, that comes from the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, the Bible. Seek new anointing daily and be refreshed in your inner person or spirit. Then your mind, will and emotions will also be freed as well as a refreshing for your body.

A physical wilderness is a deserted place where wild animals may live, where there is stunted vegetation, where crops of value do not grow nor are planted. The soil can be very poor and water supplies can be scarce. It is a place where it is difficult for people to live and is consequently, almost uninhabited by human beings. Many people live, even in large cities, but for all intents and purposes, it can be a spiritual wilderness.

We read in 2 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 2 that with the Lord, there is an acceptable time or day of salvation. this occurs when a person's spirit is touched by the Lord, to give their life to the Lord. It may be a word from a tele-evangelist, or a stirring sermon from a pulpit, or an imploring talk with a family member or trusted friend. You knew at this time the Lord was reaching out to you to be saved. There was a conviction of your spirit to repent of your sins and be saved. Eternal life was knocking on your heart's door. It was a now day for you to be saved.

Taking communion together is an extraordinary part of our service in worship both as a church and individually. Christians share the breaking of bread and the drinking of the cup as symbolic of Christ's body being broken, for our redemption, on the Cross of Calvary. We share our common bond of sharing our fellowship to honour our Lord Jesus Christ. Communion can be taken as often, as it is agreed upon, in remembrance of His sacrifice, for the penalty of our sins. It is a time of adoration and of showing our heartfelt gratefulness, for His sacrifice on our behalf.

The renewal of a Christian's mind is absolutely essential if a person is to inherit and explore the wonderful blessings that God now has for every individual, blood bought born again child of God. Without one's mind being fully recreated in the likeness of Christ rather than a true believer indwelt by the Spirit of God, they become merely a follower rather than a true believer indwelt by the Spirit of God with forgiveness of ones sins through Jesus to the honour and glory of the Father.
Submission basically means to be willing to allow someone else to have a dominant position in a conversation or any given situation in life. We are all familiar with being willing to obey a government law or regulation. When talking to others, it often means having a willingness to listen to their opinion. Submission is to put your volition aside and willingly embrace and obey another person's will or a governmental ruling.
Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness. He rebuked Satan for his temptations and told him to flee. God's written word, the Bible tells us that every being, in both heaven and earth, must only worship the One true God . He, alone, was to be honoured and obeyed. We have the Lord's command that we must obey and serve God and no one else. How much the majority of mankind has not obeyed God's word, but rather gone their own way. Jesus is God and has been given all authority in both heaven and earth, by God the Father.
Three thousand years ago the Lord gave David, as King of Israel, the vision of building the temple in Jerusalem. David, because he had been involved in so much warfare, against his enemies, God forbade him to build his temple. This marvellous work was placed in the hands of David's son, Solomon. The temple in Jerusalem was one of the most magnificent and costly structures, built by man, in the ancient world. God no longer lives in temples made by men's hands. Each born again, blood bought child of God, is a new temple of the Holy Spirit.
Our resurrection in Jesus Christ means our eternal life is secure in Him. Resurrection means the complete new life of our spirit, soul and body making those who have given their lives to Jesus to be completely remade in the likeness of Christ. We become a whole new creation.
A covenant is a solemn agreement between God and mankind or between one group of people and another group of people of like mind or intentions. Everything that is mine can be shared with another person and everything that is theirs, can be shared with me. Everything that is God's can become part of my life and everything that I possess is willingly given to the lord. Christian covenant partners are sharers of God's great goodness and mercy. Covenants should never be broken by either party.
Repentance means a genuine deep sorrow for the way you have lived or are living. Real repentance brings complete relief from sins crushing burdens and a 180 degree turn-a-round in the way you live your life. It is no longer a life to be lived for self and its own selfish ambitions but a life that you desire to live through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God.
Fear is a way of life for many people. They have not been told that they can yield all their fear to the Lord and overcome as a result. Fear has a binding and even a blinding influence upon how an individual will cope with life.
To be anointed means to be favoured and empowered by the Holy Spirit to do the will of God and to carry out His will and purposes in the ministry He has given you. No one involved in listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit can afford not to be anointed. If you do you will be doing your own deal and not carrying our God's will and purposes. This can also mean doing your own thing at the wrong location and in the wrong manner. Always you must be commissioned by the Holy Spirit. To be able to do the will of God and not just authorised by some man made authority, alone.
Every day as Christians we are in a covenant relationship with our Father, through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Every time we celebrate communion at church; in our fellowship with other Christians; or in our own home; we strengthen our covenant relationship with God.
Today many people's hearts are failing them and causing them to become stress filled and depressed. This can often be a result of their lifestyle; their lack of achievements; their own ill health and a variety of social, economic and spiritual issues. They have no real God given goal in life and no real peace in their personal lives. Rather they are filled with man made philosophical responses that are dominated by fleshly desires. The bible says in Proverbs chapter 13 verse 12 'Hope deferred makes the heart sick but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life'. Man's spiritual conditions are not addressed and a lack of response to God's ways, which alone cause people to triumph, is the result.
Our enemy, Satan, is always trying to convince God's children that they are not good enough to be children of the Almighty God. This is done by planting false thoughts in their minds and bringing back situations concerning things that went wrong in the past. The good news is that Jesus has already paid the price for our sins and for everyone in the entire world. All who have repented of their sins have had all their past iniquities washed away by the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit then came to reside in their inner person or spirit and from that moment on they became a child of God, by faith in Jesus and inherited eternal life and everlasting glory.
Everything that has breath is to praise the Lord according to Psalm 150 verse 6. We should be extremely thankful that God created us and gave us breath to live by. We should praise the Lord for the talents and abilities He has given us and for the places we live and for the drink and food that give nourishment to our bodies. Above all we have been given the incredible opportunity of eternal life and being able to live in God's almighty presence, forever.
Forgiveness is such an important aspect of every Christian's daily walk. God is the originator of all forgiveness. Jesus forgave all mankind, so great was God's all embracing grace. We must willingly forgive others from our hearts. We must really mean it. God is the great forgiver. It is important that we follow in His footsteps if we really are true Christians; His Blood bought children.
In 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24 we learn about the healing that Jesus provided for His children through His atoning victory on the Cross.. The Word tells us that 'by His stripes we are healed'. Everything that we do, as part of God's will for our lives, must be by faith. In Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 we are explicitly told that without faith we cannot please God. We must first believe that He exists and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Healing is one of God's greatest rewards for believing in Him and what He alone achieved, for us, on the Cross of Calvary.
This world as a whole lives day by day under the great deception of lies of Satan. The only way this deception can be broken is by people submitting individually to God's will and purposes for their lives.

Without good faith filled prayer based on the Word of God and being obedient to the directions of the Holy Spirit your good intentions and plans are doomed to failure. Every Christian failure in both personal and church based activities that is not soundly grounded in prayer and the Word of God will become a failure.

There is a wide difference between faith and hope. Hope gives us a worthwhile vision of what God wants for our future but faith is the substance or reality. that brings it to fruition. You can hope and long for something that is very excellent but hope by itself won't cause it to happen. If it is left to hope it will always remain a vision; Something good that we would like to see happen very shortly or in the future. Faith in God and his Word will bring that hope or vision into reality. However, to achieve the faith goals, the Lord has given us, we must grow in God's ways. Often our faith must become stronger and grow as a mustard seed. Faith only comes by hearing and putting God's Word into practice in our daily lives.

To learn about God and His word and all the ways that we need to know in life we have to be closely knit to the Lord through the Holy Spirit. The anointing or empowering of the Holy Spirit must be working mightily through our spirit or inner person. Because this anointing remains in all born again believers they have no need for other people to teach them about the Lord. You must be diligent yourself, to hear what the Holy Spirit is telling you. The Holy Spirit is well able to give us insight into all aspects of life including our daily work, our family, our finances and our personal relationships with other people. The Holy Spirit is absolutely true and you never receive any lies or deceptions when you completely obey the Holy Spirit's instructions. Christians are to remain rooted and grounded in Him to the honour and glory of the Father, in Jesus' name as well as being able to sincerely help younger Christians on their earthly journey.
No person can build a worthwhile life without having secure foundations. Without a sure foundation of understanding of the world around you, knowledge of your life's situations, secure personal relationships, adequate finance, good health, goals, proper learning and skills, no one can build a meaningful life. For a Christian these building blocks of life are also necessary but not as fulfilling and needful as the life built upon God's word and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. Each life must be built correctly, like a staircase, daily and yearly founded, step by step, with a greater maturity becoming our portion, as we proceed on life's journey.
Even Christians have to learn to turn their whole life, with its goals and aspirations, over to the will of the Lord. We must see God and His word, as our complete source for our life's journey. He alone can and will provide for our needs and He alone will insure that we make it through, victoriously. We must fully recognise that our Father in heaven is the only One, who truly loves us. He also is the only One who knows our real needs, not what we think are our needs. He is the only One who can successfully provide, what we need. Always remember that the battle is the Lord's. Jesus defeated Satan in His resurrection power and has given us His victory for our life.
Every person born upon this earth will at some time, face affliction from their enemy, the devil, also known as Satan. These darts of terror will often come in the form of sickness, disease or accidents. They are always intended to steal, kill or destroy the lives that Satan, is currently targeting. Christians, have two questions regarding healing that require a satisfying answer. Firstly, is it God's will to heal, and secondly, is it God's will to heal me?
Every Christian should be filled with the peace of God. All who are weary and upset by worry, are to rest in the Lord, who will give them His perfect peace. Those who trust in the Lord and His word, on a consistent basis, are able to overcome worry, anxiety, doubt, fear and the effects of satanic depression. They will be led by the gentleness and humbleness of the Spirit of God. They will find rest and renewal for their spirit and soul. God's yoke or burden is light and righteous.
To be able to overcome and defeat any enemy you have to know who is your real enemy. Without a knowledge of who your enemy is and how he works against you, you will never be able to successfully win. The word of God tells us that our real enemy is not our spouse, family, people at work or former friends and associates. Our real enemy is very dangerous and deceitful and his name is Satan. Satan hates all of God's creation, particularly people. His plans against everyone is to steal, kill and destroy. Always look for the source of your trouble and you will find out it is always Satan, working out his evil plans.
We learn from Romans chapter 5 verse 21 that the grace of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, reigns through His righteousness now and throughout eternity. Before the resurrection and from the fall in the Garden of Eden, until Moses, sin reigned over mankind. Now all who are willing to believe, have the ability, in Christ, to reign with the Lord, in His righteousness. Born again blood bought Christians, are now reigning and will reign in greater measure with the Lord, throughout eternity.
Man was created in the image of God and was given authority and dominion over God's creation. He was made a little lower than Elohim. Adam had the ability to name every plant and animal and identify its distinct characteristics. Unfortunately, man lost this dominion, as well as close fellowship with God. Adam had the legal right to give his authority to Satan, but not a moral right. From that time onward, until Jesus Christ rose triumphantly from the dead, the world was plunged into the kingdom of darkness.
Most people outside of their home and family and perhaps their workplace, have very little real authority. Hardly any are chief executive officers of large corporations or wield great political or financial power. However, all born again blood bought children of God, have been given marvellous authority over the flesh, the world and the devil. They must learn to exercise their God given authority, on a regular basis. it is authority and power, backed by the throne of almighty God, through Jesus Christ, their Lord and Saviour. This power is released by the Holy Spirit, through our spirit and must be founded upon God's word, the Bible.
God is the full and true provider for all who will trust and obey Him. His children should always turn to Him for the provision of their needs. God the Father is the source of everything that is good, no matter what! when there appears to be no way our of our predicament, God will give us His way out to His freedom. This can be freedom from debt; from difficult work situations and relationships and He will provide a transition into a life of love, joy and peace, in every aspect of your life. Base your life on God and His word and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. God's provision for us will be more than we can even ask or think.
For any human being it is important, not to just exist, but to live. We all have gifts and talents, given to us by God and as we develop them, we must learn to use them, wisely. In doing so we have the satisfaction of knowing that we have God given value and are able to bless other people and above all, we are enabled by the Holy Spirit, to bring honour and glory to the Father, in Jesus' name. We can live in love, joy, peace and righteousness and we can learn to be a shining light not only to fellow Christians, but especially to all those lost in the darkness of this fallen world, around us.
We, as God's children, must be willing to listen carefully, to the Holy Spirit's instructions and be obedient to do them. God's children must incline their ears; their thoughts to God's word. It is not sufficient to give nodding agreement. It must be a wholehearted effort, with our focus on God's will and purposes; intending to bring honour and glory to the Father, in Jesus' name. When we spend time in prayer and know what God is telling us to do, then we must be obedient to carry out what the Holy Spirit tells our spirit or inner person. Those that listen and do, will live.
It is very easy and very human to judge other peoples' conduct, from our fairly limited perspective. If we refrain from judging others we will not be judged. Don't condemn other people but rather be repentant of your own follies. This will enable you not to be a hypocrite. Always be willing to pardon all those who are genuinely sorry for their speech or actions. In doing so you also will be pardoned by the great Judge of the universe, our almighty Father God. We must not continue to judge others. Judging others is guaranteed to give Satan a platform, to cut off God's blessings.

All those who are truly God's blood bought children should see the blessings of God flow in their own lives, in their family and their friends. Whatever we do that is in obedience to God's word and the directions of the Holy Spirit, God will bless. Each person who is willing to walk in love and to be willing to forgive and keep on praising with thanks to the Lord, will be guaranteed a greater measure of spiritual blessings. However, there will be greater opposition from Satan, the flesh, and the world.
In Acts we learn about the safe preservation of 276 souls aboard the ship, on which Paul was sailing to Rome. God will always protect those who trust in His wisdom. Paul had originally advised those in charge of the ship, to stay in Crete, but they had not listened to Paul. The difference was that Paul was listening through his own spirit and not the foolishness of men. An angel of the Lord spoke to Paul, that very night, giving Paul the details of how lives were to be saved. This angel came to Paul, from the God to whom he belonged and whom he served. God's wisdom became Paul's portion in life.
No Christian should ever desire to walk in their own wisdom or that of other people. but rather in the wisdom of God. Only those who are blood bought, Spirit filled Christians can truly know the wisdom of God. Those that are willing to spend time learning, reading, meditating upon, confessing and applying God's word found in the Bible, on a daily basis, to all of their lives circumstances, will be able to walk in Godly wisdom. This wisdom will not only apply to their own lives but also be an aid in helping family members, friends and all who they meet.
The Pharisees were constantly trying to undermine the Lord's ministry, while Jesus was on earth. They were in fact false religious leaders who preferred their own ways rather than God's. The Pharisees followed the ways of their father, the devil. They practised lies and deception like their father, the devil As a result they didn't stand for truth for there is no truth in Satan. Both the devil and the Pharisees and even many religious leaders today, lied and spoke half truths.
Every person that is born, will have to make a choice, sooner or later, as to whether they will serve the God of heaven or the god of this world, also known as Satan. The choice is a life changing eternal decision. This choice determines whether you will spend eternity with a loving and forgiving Father God, in heaven or in the company of the devil and his angels, in everlasting torment or hell. This is by far the most important decision you will make in your earthly life. it is a personal and lasting decision.
It is absolutely impossible to please God, if we don't walk by faith, founded upon the promises of His word. This must be a daily walk of learning, reading, meditating upon and applying God's word to your daily circumstances. All who come to God must believe that He exists and rewards all who diligently seek Him. They must believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and gives forgiveness of sins to all who repent. The Lord rewards His children who walk by faith through Him and His word. As a result Christians inherit the most wonderful gift of eternal life.
Faith is part of life. Every person on planet earth must live by faith. Those who do not know Jesus as Lord and Saviour, have to have confidence or faith that they can perform their normal daily activities. Those travelling on a plane must have faith that the pilot will bring them safely to their required destination. Eternal life in Jesus can only come through faith in His word and in His name. Only those who pursue Bible faith and are obedient to the Holy Spirit to the end of their earthly life, will obtain the greatest prize of eternal life. Faith must replace fear in all our circumstances for Bible faith comes from God and His word but fear emanates from the world, the flesh and the devil
As a born again Christian you were convicted of your sins by the Holy Spirit and as a result you were willing to repent. When you repented, the lord forgave you and then through His great grace, you became His everlasting son or daughter. Furthermore your spirit or inner person was recreated and you were given an inheritance of eternal life. His blessings came upon you at this point and you were justified in the sight of God. No more are you a sinner living in a world of Satan's lies and deceits but you now have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God.
It is very easy to give up in life when the battles of doubt, depression, bad health, lack of finances, family problems raise their ugly heads. It is so important not to faint or give up in the heat of the battle. This is when the rubber of your faith, truly hits the road. The reading and confession of the Word of God must be your constant upholding power along with praising and worshiping the Lord and always being obedient to the directions of the Holy Spirit.
Obedience is paramount in your Christian life. Without obedience to God and his will and purposes for your life you will remain unfulfilled and unable to be a witness to God’s amazing life plan.
Our God, the God of all peoples, is love. He has created all things and by Him all things exist. Without God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, nothing would have been created or made. Because God made everything; He also loves everyone and everything. Before sin entered the world, all things were good. Adam sold us out to Satan, and thereby committed high treason. From then on sin and corruption entered the world. God made this world, this universe, for mankind to enjoy. God made a way for mankind to come back to Him, when Jesus Christ, His beloved Son, died on the Cross and rose again. Everyone now could have forgiveness of their sins and gain eternal redemption.
The authority and empowerment for every Christian, is available through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the word of God, the Bible and the use of the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. It is a faith walk based on Him and His word. No Christian should feel disappointed or let down, on a continuous basis. Let your spirit be empowered by the Holy Spirit and never be overcome by the thoughts of your mind or your emotions. Your authority or power must be completely founded on the name of Jesus Christ, to the honour and glory of the Father. Never operate spiritually through your feelings or your mind but allow your will to be guided by your spirit, in obedience to the Holy Spirit's directions. Don't just do your own thing. Always live with your goal to honour the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Christians must not be fearful for they fear, honour and respect as well as love, the only person that must be feared; the Almighty God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Fear is really the opposite of love. Only those people who truly love God and other people, are really able to escape the bondage of fear. Only two things in life actually unite people. These two things are fear and love. Fear is the way of the world, the flesh and the devil, while love for God and for other people is God's marvellous unifying force. We have to choose, in life, which of these two pathways we will follow.
To escape from slavery or bondage or from persecution, starvation, warfare or disease, has been a desire of mankind, down through the ages, ever since sin entered God's creation. To escape means you can be free from the oppression distressing your life , at that moment. As a young man I remember seeing a well acclaimed movie entitled, The Great Escape. Prisoners of war in the Second World Warm tunnelled underground to get free from their imprisonment. Some men managed to escape to freedom, many were recaptured and a few, who resisted arrest, were shot. Our freedom from sin and the unrighteousness of this world, is a complete escape for all, who repent and put their trust in Jesus Christ's shed blood.
If you are a child of the living God and have repented of your sins, you are forgiven. Not only are you forgiven but all your past sins are remitted. They are completely washed away by Christ's shed blood. Even better they are forgotten by God. In Matthew chapter 18 verses 23 to 27 we read about the servant who owed his master 10,000 talents. This was an inconceivable sum for anyone to repay. The value of one talent amounted to a slave's wage of fifteen years. However, the slave pleaded with his master about his debt and his master forgave him all, just as Christ forgives us all our debt. If we sin at any time, as a Christian, we must ask God for forgiveness from whatever sin of thought, speech or action, that the Holy Spirit brings to our attention. In doing so the sin or sins of that particular moment or day, is forgiven and forgotten. Repentance for a new believer or an older saint is absolutely essential if we desire to really live a godly life and please our Father in heaven.
Every child of God can be and must be led by the Spirit of God. All born again Christians have the Spirit of God living in them and are able to communicate with God, through their own spirit. Unfortunately, many Christians fail to contact God through their spirit but try to contact or listen to God, through their mind. We can only hear God's voice and speak to God, through our recreated spirit who is or can be in contact, with the Holy Spirit, indwelling us. It is very important not to be led by your mind or emotions, but only by the Spirit of God through our spirit. If we are obedient to what the Holy Spirit tells our spirit, then we will avoid most of the great pitfalls of life, that encumber the world and many Christians as well.
Our God is love and He and His word, stand perfectly and steadfastly, for truth and righteousness. As His children, so must we, also do likewise. All upright Christians seek to think, speak and do, just as Jesus did and does. We must constantly learn God's word and daily read, meditate, confess and apply God's word. In doing so, we will consistently overcome the flesh, the world and the devil and you will be able to have constant victory, through Christ and His word. Remember to listen to the Holy Spirit's instructions, at the beginning of each day and be obedient to carry them out. Always stand your ground!
All born again Christians have God's given authority, through Christ, to bind up Satan, demons and all their wicked works. We must exercise this authority through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit based upon the sure foundation of God's word. His chosen children are cleansed and redeemed, from their sins, by the precious blood of the Lord, shed on their behalf, on the Cross of Calvary. they are anointed ambassadors of God's will and purposes, to bring hope and healing, to afflicted and poverty stricken mankind. This authority is spiritually greater and more powerful than all earthly authority, which is bound up by Satan and his demons. It is authority with power, backed by God's throne in Heaven.
Our Father in Heaven is absolutely perfect in all respects, because He is God. He alone is to be worshipped, for He has created all things and in Him all things are sustained. He is the only life giver of everything in the universe. Our task is to yield to our Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ, so that we can be enabled by the Holy Spirit, to become more like Him. Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and through the word of God, we, daily, are able to fulfil His will and purposes for our life. Holy! Holy! Holy! is our God.
There are many instances from the time of Pentecost and through the Acts of the Apostles, of people speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues is a heavenly language given through the Holy Spirit, to born again believers, in Christ. The devil tries to imitate speaking in tongues, but it is never to glorify God and is usually gibberish, without spiritual meaning. Tongues can be interpreted, so the message can be translated, for the benefit of those present. They can be interpreted both by the speaker or by another Christian, anointed by the Holy Spirit to do so. it is essential that all born again Christians, seek the gift of speaking and interpreting tongues.
If we want to grow spiritually, to be more like the Lord, we need to desire, with all our heart, to be baptised in the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues. Every Christian, who is born of the Spirit of God, is able to be baptised in the Holy Spirit. Those that desire Gods spiritual gifts, of speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, discernment of spirits, word of knowledge and word of wisdom, desire a wonderful thing known as the charismatic gifts. The important aspect, is that we desire to be baptised in the Holy Spirit, and therefore speak in other tongues. We are to covert these gifts for the glory of God and the wonderful blessings they will bring upon other people, as well as ourselves.
When we give our lives to the Lord and repent of our sins, we become children of God. At this point, our spirit, becomes born again and we are baptised into the body of Christ, by the Holy Spirit. Instead of eternal damnation in Hell, we are now destined for eternal life with Christ. However, our mind needs to be renewed. It is our spirit which is regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We must make the effort to renew our minds and our body will follow suit. How do we do this? The word of God and obedience to God's will and purposes for our life, is the answer.
Everywhere and upon nearly everyone, there is great confusion and unrest in the world. After all, Satan is the god of this world, so it is no surprise! Despite the turmoil of this world, there can be found abiding peace and rest. It is overwhelmingly to be found, in the blood bought lives of born again Christians. These are the ones who are willing to obey God and His will and purposes, for their lives. Even, what appears to be peace and rest in the world, without Christ, never eventuates. Only in Jesus Christ, is there perfect peace and rest. He, alone, is our peace and rest.
Every person that has ever been born of a woman can have the opportunity to inherit eternal life, if they are born again. The rebirth is a spiritual birth and not a natural birth. The new birth is available to all who willingly surrender their lives, to Jesus Christ and acknowledge Him as their Lord and Saviour. The Holy Spirit has convicted them therefore they know they need to repent of their sins. Those who are willing to do so are forgiven of all their sins and their spirit, the real person, is regenerated or made perfect, through the work of the Holy Spirit. They are now born again and have been given eternal life, as God's recreated children.
All those people who have repented of their sins and have been forgiven are redeemed through Christ's precious blood. These people have all been redeemed from the curse of the law. The law was given by God on Mount Sinai. It was intended to allow Israel to be able to walk in God's righteous covenant with His people. Only Israel lived under God's laws, at the time and their sins were atoned for by the blood of animals. Their sins were not washed away, but were covered from God's sight. We have a better covenant based on better promises. This is the New Testament. All redeemed people have their sins washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ and God has even forgotten, His children's iniquities. As a result of Christ's resurrection power and the acceptance of Christ's atoning sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, we are God's redeemed children for eternity.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the great healer. He is the healer of all of mankind's spirit, soul and flesh. He is the healer of all who are oppressed by Satan and his evil works. When people repent and ask for forgiveness of their sins they then become one of God's children, forever. Those who are diligent in listening to the Holy Spirit and spend time worshipping God combined with an ardent desire to study God's word and be obedient to the Lord, can obtain eternal healing. All those diseases that Satan desires to bring upon your spirit, soul and body can be destroyed. You can overcome the evil plots of the world, the flesh and the devil, by constantly being obedient to God's will and purposes for your life. As a result you can also help and teach hundreds, even thousands of other children of God, to do the same.
Being strong is such an important part of our spirit, soul and body. Christians require a strong conscience for their spirit; they also need a balanced reasoning for their soul as well as a sound control of their feelings for their body. In Christ is the true strength of every person. No one can be truly strong without God's strength being available to their life. Without the Lord, as the true strength of their being, human beings are guaranteed to stumble and fall because of the tremendous weight of evil arrayed against them by the world, the flesh and the devil. Our strength must be in the Lord!
Every Christian's spirit, is a new creation in Christ. God has, through many centuries, created billions of human beings, many of which, nearly eight billion, are alive today. Each human being is composed of a spirit, soul and a body. It is man's spirit or inner person that is able to be connected with God, by the Holy Spirit. Our spirit is born again and informs our mind or soul about the things of God. It is absolutely impossible for mankind to directly have contact with God, through their mind. Our spirit or inner person is the one that lives forever and is capable of being godlike.
God created light in order to dispel the chaos that occurs in darkness. During the day we have the light of the sun so that we can see our way to do our daily tasks, as well as gaining warmth, to enjoy our lives. At night there is some reflected light, that comes by way of moonlight and the far distant stars. From early times man has lit candles or firesticks, at night, to see their way. Less than a little over 150 years ago, man received God given understanding to be able to invent lamps and globes, using electricity. What a difference this artificial light has made to our modern civilisation!
It is important that everyone makes the right choice in life. After all we live our life on earth for a rather short period of time. A few people even live as long or slightly more than one hundred years. Beyond the grave we are either destined for heaven or hell. Those who are justified, through Christ's shed blood, go to heaven to live with God and have eternal life. Those who have not accepted Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour, are damned and go to hell. Every creature that has ever lived has been created by God, particularly, when it comes to mankind.
It is a miracle, beyond human comprehension. The Holy Spirit of God indwells our inner person or spirit. In fact, if a person is not indwelt by God the Holy Spirit, they can not be born again. Nor can they be a genuine Christian or a child of God. Nor can they be forgiven of their sins and have eternal salvation and life. God lives in the life of every true Christian and that Christian is able to communicate with the Holy Spirit, through their recreated spirit, on a consistent, daily basis. You became a born again child of God when you repented of your sins and made Jesus Christ, the Lord of your life.
What is fasting? It is a time when you stop doing most of your normal activities; particularly those that are of great importance to you; then you concentrate on spending that time with the Lord. As the Holy Spirit directs, it should be a time of reading and confessing God's word, as well as praying and interceding for others. Above all it should be a time of dedicated worship. What is the reason for fasting? It can be varied for every individual Christian, at a certain point of time. It can be breaking Satan's power, over a person's life or over situations that are not of God's will and purposes. It can also be a time of intense listening to the Holy Spirit for direction and guidance and wisdom for the future.
Mankind is often a creature of haste. Many times he wants to fix up his little world; his way. Waiting can be quite a problem. Things have to be done now, right away! After all if I don't fix this problem immediately or at least get someone else to do so, things will get worse. We as Christians, so often act hastily, just like the world. It must be done now and the way we desire it to be done. Wait a moment! You have an almighty and an all loving God who can help you in whatever situation you encounter. Call upon Him and wait patiently, as the Lord gives His perfect answer, for whatever problem requires His wonderful help.
All God's children who are forgiven of their sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ are redeemed and set apart. They are redeemed from eternal spiritual death to eternal spiritual life with God. They are redeemed from sickness and disease. They are redeemed from the burden of guilt and shame. They are redeemed from lack and material poverty. They are able to possess God's richest blessings through faith in God's word and being obedient to the directions of the Holy Spirit. Redemption is a complete regeneration of a person's spirit so that they are new creations in Christ. Old things are passed away; all things are become new.
God instructs His children to be baptized. All good Baptists and Church of Christ folk know you should be baptized. However, in the full understanding of baptism, what are we really talking about? The word of God informs us that God's children are to be baptized, following Christ's example. By baptism we mean immersion. Some people regard baptism as being only by water and others believe that we are baptized not only in water but also, baptism by the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues. A study of God's word is the only way that a proper understanding of baptism can be gained.
Praying is the spiritual lifeblood of every child of God. It is like sufficient water for a plant. Without a consistent prayer life, based on God's word and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, your fellowship with the Lord begins to dry up. Consistent with your prayers there must also be a solid foundation of the Word of God. This will then produce prayers that are prayed in faith. Faith enables us to believe that what we pray is far more than a vain repetition of words. These are prayers that you truly believe God will answer and will bring rich rewards. You know you will receive just what you prayed for.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is a compassionate God and full of gracious mercy. He has compassion or pity on those who have given their life to Him and those who haven't. If it were not so Satan, as the god of this world, would destroy all of mankind. Jesus and His word, the bible, with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, stands in the way of Satan's deceitful plans. God's mercy is everlasting upon all those who hear His voice and are willing to ask for forgiveness of their sins and be washed clean in His precious blood. These people obtain His compassion and mercy not only for this life but eternal life in the next. All may obtain His compassion and mercy now but only those who accept His gracious gift of forgiveness and eternal life, will do so forever.
For every born again Christian, Jesus Christ must be the strength of their life, otherwise much of their life is a dismal failure. Only in Christ and His strength, can we depend. In any kind of trouble, the lord is our fortress. In any kind of distress, the Lord is our comforter. In any kind of need, the Lord is our provider. If we constantly wait upon the lord and are obedient to Him, His strength becomes our strength and our battle becomes His battle. In this we are assured of overcoming victory in Him. Don't try to win in your own strength but claim His strength as your own.
If we truly desire, as God's born again children, to be like Jesus and follow in His footsteps, then we had better learn from God's word, how to do so. Jesus, first of all, told people to repent, so that they would be forgiven of their sins and be able to become God's eternal children. He cared about them and healed them of their diseases. He went about doing them good and cast Satan and his demons, out of the lives of the people. Jesus invited all who came to Him, to enter the wonderful, eternal Kingdom of God. He was the forerunner of the church and we must follow Him, through His word and the anointing and revelation knowledge, of the Holy Spirit.
God's church consists of a head and a body. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the head and God's people, the true church, are His body. It is absolutely imperative that both work together as one. Together, they are the anointed head and body of Christ, Neither can work independently of the other. The head directs the spiritual body just as our natural head directs our natural body. However, the head can do nothing without the cooperation of the body and nor can the body accomplish anything without obeying the directions of the head. Jesus is the head and the church are the body. Working together, we become the anointed Christ. Satan and his demons do everything they can to try and separate the body from their head and thereby cause it to become dysfunctional.
Every day our spirits and our minds are bombarded through print and electronic devices with all kinds of adds and information. Most of what is presented to our vision and hearing is completely sensual and often anti-God. It is basically of the flesh, the world and the devil. The only real antidote we have, is to keep our spirits and souls renewed and sustained, by the word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. It takes stern and constant discipline to overcome the thoughts that can lead us away, from God and His righteousness. Even our past experiences and often wrongly taught and so called knowledge, must be discarded, if we are to truly live a godly life in Christ.
Many people today have a sense of unworthiness about them. Even Christians can feel unworthy. The only person who is truly worthy is our Lord Jesus Christ. All who are born again, by the shed blood on the Cross of Calvary, have been made worthy in Him. We are not worthy just by ourselves but have been made completely worthy in Him. Jesus is the head of the church and His children are His body. We are to reign as kings with Him forever. Even when we are tired or very busy we must constantly acknowledge our worthiness in Him. All born again Christians are forever worthy.
All born again Christians are able to hear God's voice. They are able to communicate with the Lord via the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit talks to their spirit or inner person. Your spirit is the real you who lives forever in God's presence or heaven. Those who refuse to repent from their sin, remain unforgiven and go to hell. Christians do not hear God's voice through their mind, but only and always through their regenerated spirit. This can be referred to as the belly. Born again Christians, who are also baptised in the Holy Spirit and speak in heavenly tongues, become more acutely aware of God speaking to them. All wise Christians will listen to the Holy Spirit and be obedient to what God tells them to do.
God has created all mankind to worship Him. Everyone is made to worship. Because of the fall, when Adam sold his sovereignty over the earth, for a piece of fruit, most people have been beguiled to worship anything or everything, rather than the true God. This has enabled Satan to deceive people to believe in the false worship of demons, of other people and of gods of metal, wood and stone. This false worship has led people into demonic deception and leading them to believe false and devilish ideas as well as all forms of witchcraft. All religions and beliefs, except for true Christianity, based upon the word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, are used by Satan, to bind up people's understanding of what is true worship and who is the only true God, as revealed in the Bible.
Often wondered why you think, say and even do things which you know. as a born again Christian, you shouldn't think, say or do? Other people, who you believe are genuine Christians, sometimes say and do things that your inner person or spirit, knows is not right. How can this be? Well, when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and you repented and became forgiven of your sins, the Holy Spirit rejuvenated your spirit person, the real you. However your soul, that is your mind, your will and your emotions, has still to be renewed. It can only be renewed by you spending time reading, meditating, confessing and applying God's word to your daily life.
According to Isaiah chapter 14 Lucifer, alias Satan or the Devil, the most beautiful of God's angelic beings was cast out of heaven. He believed that he could become God and led a rebellion with one third of God's angels against God. When Jesus rose from the dead the devil and his demonic activity were taken captive. They lost their heavenly position and power. From being glorious heavenly creations they had now become fallen, evil beings. All the angels that followed Satan were cast down to hell reserved in everlasting chains to await their judgement. Satan now became the Prince of the Power of the Air and as an evil being was hell bent on destroying God's creation, particularly mankind. Satan had become the source of all evil in tandem with many of fallen mankind.
The only sure foundation that any person can have is the Word of God and the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. People, by themselves and without godly guidance, live lives that are similar to Job's description in Job chapter 5 verse 7. Man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward from an open fire. By ourselves, we cannot overcome the world, the flesh and the devil. But Jesus has defeated Satan and his cohorts so that we can have a sure foundation, in Him, of sin's forgiven and eternal life. This is an overcoming life where the foundation is in the Lord and on His Word.
Our God is worthy of our praise and worship. Just like Israel of old our God has done great and awesome things, for His people. Without His help and guidance how would any of us be able to gain peace and contentment, in this muddled world of turmoil and strife? We must praise His holy name for His wonderful blessings for both ourselves and our family, our church and even our country. If we contemplate the marvellous fact that we will live forever in His overcoming power and love, we can really only give God our adoration and thanks. Let us all constantly give praise to our God!
Everyone in the world desires some form of peace. They desire it within themselves, in their homes, in their workplaces, as well as in their city and in their country. For most people this is not much more than a dream or a future hope. Because Satan and his demons run rampant throughout most situations in life and because of man's unregenerate nature, it is not even possible. Or is it? Yes, it is, but only through repentance of one's sins and forgiveness through Jesus Christ, the only saviour and redeemer of mankind. For after all, He alone, is the Prince of Peace.
The God of all blood washed Christian believers, is the Creator of the universe. He is the source of all life and He is eternal in the heavens. He is everlasting and always was and always will be. The Lord of Hosts, our heavenly Father is completely trustworthy. His advice and His knowledge is forever perfect for He knows all things. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are well able to provide for all the needs of mankind and He is well able to sustain you in your circumstances. God has no equal. There is no one that you can compare to Him. Without His infinite wisdom and knowledge no life could exist and indeed does not exist.
All those who love the Lord have His love spread abroad by the Holy Spirit in their hearts of inner persons. This love is for the twofold purpose of worshipping God in sincerity and truth, as well as having the God given ability to love other people of any racial or ethnic background. This love seeks the best in others and does not hold any grudges against other people. This love enables God's children to walk by faith in God's Word and to instantly forgive others their wicked, and intended deeds or mistakes. It is the love of God which surpasses all earthly understanding. This kind of love can only emanate from Jesus by the empowering of the Holy Spirit to the honour and glory of the Father.
All who are born again Christians are already able to live in the earthly portion of the Kingdom of God. Those who willingly hand over control of their lives to Jesus and repent of their sins, now have become citizens of the Kingdom of God. They are, through Jesus' shed Blood on the Cross of Calvary, able to inherit God's wonderful riches through His free gift of grace, His eternal blessings, forever. It is possible to backslide for a season and even make your faith walk, a complete shipwreck. There is always a way back through repentance and obedience to God's will and purposes for your life. Every child of God is made worthy and righteous through the shed Blood of the Jesus Christ.
Christians must be a forgiving people. Christ, their Lord and Saviour, forgave each of us all our sins and iniquities. He forgave us our wrong thoughts and intentions and our wrong words and our wrong actions. As His blood bought children we are to forgive other people, not only their intended wrong speech and wrong actions, but also their mistakes. Christ's love is daily shown to the world through the kind words and actions of His children. Particularly important in all aspects of our life, is our willingness to forgive and not only forgive, but like Jesus, to even forget the cruel and wicked actions of those who do not know God. We must also forgive members of our own family; our friends and relatives; as well as our fellow church members.
Speaking in tongues is a vital aspect of our Christian walk. So often we are not sure of God's will and purposes in any given situation. Praying in tongues can give our spirit divine wisdom and understanding because we are not just conversing with ourselves or other people, but with the Holy Spirit of God. Ordinary human understanding is not possible when we speak in unknown spiritual tongues because in reality, in the spirit, we are speaking great mysteries in which God Himself is involved. To be of the greatest blessing, it is important that we desire to interpret the meaning of the tongues, particularly in a church situation.
Every human being has been created by God. Every human being is tripartite Each person has a spirit, a soul and a body. The spirit is our inner person which we cannot see. It is often referred to as our conscience. That is the part of man that connects us with God through the Holy Spirit. It is in fact your real person. Our second part is called our soul and consists of our will, our mind and our intellect. The third part is our body or the tent we live in. When we give our lives to the Lord our spirit becomes regenerated according to the likeness of God. We are to renew our minds or our soul with the Word of God, the Bible, and command our body to follow our spirit and our soul.
Every child of God has been endowed with power from on high through their Lord Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This authority is to be exercised by all who love God and walk in His truth. God, Himself, anoints and empowers His born again children with His measure and His authority and power. This authority is to be used to help all those in need and to show forth His love to a dying world. It is a power that is used through His provision and healing for the benefit of yourself and others. It must be used against all the wickedness of the flesh, the world and the devil. This power must be used to show "God's great compassion and goodness.
The good shepherd is Jesus. He is the only one who truly cares for the flock that He purchased with His own blood shed on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus always searches for any lost lambs that are going astray. He is the One who is able to bring them back to His fold of righteousness. Jesus created you and knows all about you. All those who have given their lives to the Lord are His children. These are the sheep that God the Father knew were His own sheep since the foundation of the world. They are the ones that the Father has given into the hands of the Lord for eternal safe keeping. All these people are the sheep of the good shepherd.
God's perfect peace or wholeness in Christ, is a Christian's most wonderful inheritance. Peace in your inner person and even in your own personal circumstances, while the world is raging in violence and madness outside. Peace does not mean there are no temptations or trials. It does not mean there are no obstacles to overcome. but it does mean you have perfect confidence in God and His Word and His ability to keep each individual person in His will and purposes when the world, the flesh and the devil is trying to destroy God's perfect will in your life.
Today many young people are being raised in an environment where personal responsibility for their own actions is no longer a major priority. People very quickly blame members of their own family, their teachers and often their pastors and certainly government leaders for their woes. Each person on planet earth is responsible, as for as their health and maturity allows, for their own actions. before God's throne everyone, one day will be asked: " What did you do with my Son, Jesus, and His gracious invitation to repentance, forgiveness of sins and eternal life?" All those who are blood bought children of God should lead the way in demonstrating responsibility for their actions. For Christians the word responsible or responsibility could well be replaced by obey or obedience. To be truly responsible you must be truly obedient to God and His Word. Nothing else will bring you victory.
You are the temple of the Holy spirit. Every born again Blood bought Christian is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Each one of us, who truly loves Jesus is a temple of god on earth. The physical temple of God in Jerusalem was destroyed by the roman general and later emperor Titus, in 70 AD. Ever since Jesus rose from the dead, all His children onwards from Pentecost, have been indwelt by the Holy Spirit. God requires that His temples are pure and holy and being used for obedience for His will and purposes.
We can, as God's children, reign in life in God's righteousness, alone. There is no other way to have right standing before our loving Father in heaven other than the righteousness that is imputed or given to us in Christ. His righteousness becomes our righteousness to all who believe. Only the righteous will live with God throughout eternity. If you have repented and asked Jesus for forgiveness of your sins you are then washed in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are a redeemed person and therefore righteous because you now partake of God's righteousness in Christ. You are enabled to reign in life through God's righteousness, alone.
Our words are very important. Our words will either give us God's freedom or the Devil's bondage. it is also important to realise that what we say is a result of our thinking. Either our thoughts will be good and positive and based on God's Word, the Bible, or else they will be negative and full of misunderstanding. This can be a result of what we were taught when we were younger. It can also be a result of a poor and negative family upbringing. Again it can be a result of the society in which we live or our own reaction to situations and circumstances which we have already encountered, in life. Altogether our thoughts determine what we say and our actions and responses in life and even our eternal destiny.
All true born again Christians are set apart from the world and unbelievers by the precious blood of Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary. No one that is not cleansed from sin, guilt and shame by the blood of Jesus can ever be forgiven of their sins and are denied eternal entry into heaven and the presence of God. We are to make the effort to read the Word and listen to the Holy Spirit. In all things we are to live a sanctified life unto the Lord. We are no longer our own but have been purchased, at great price, with the blood of Jesus Christ.
Prayer and fasting are very important aspects of our fellowship with the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. So often God's children fail to ask their heavenly Father for His advice on many occasions and in many situations. They often fail to pray according to God's Word, as revealed to them by the Holy Spirit speaking through their inner voice. Along with prayer comes the importance of fasting. Fasting is abstaining from food or sexual relationships between spouses or even fasting from things we may watch or listen to or be involved in for a period of time. Many major decisions can be freed from worry and false ideas when we obey God's Word and the Holy Spirit's knowledge and wisdom.
We read in Leviticus chapter 17 verse 11 that life is in the blood. All human existence as well as all kinds of animals, birds and fish can only survive alive because of the flow of blood through their bodies. Without our blood flowing through our physical bodies the life of every human would be extinguished almost immediately. Our spiritual life is cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ shed on our behalf on the Cross of Calvary. It is the blood that cleansed us from sin and shame. No Christian can be born again and have eternal life without the remission of their sins and forgiveness through the shed blood of the Lord.
All Christians have been given the amazing ability to ask the Father, whatever they desire, when they pray. However there are two important provisos which we must be careful to read. First we must always ask according to His will and purposes and not just according to our whimsical fancies As God's blood bought children we must always be found abiding in the Vine, who is our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. As well His Words must be abiding in us. Therefore we will ask in faith believing that He has already answered us. It is a resounding privilege to know that as we trust the Lord, our Father will always answer us,
It is essential that all Christians are willing to crucify or put to death in their flesh, all the lusts and desires of the flesh, the world and the Devil. No Christian can be truly sanctified for the Lord's use until they put to death the things of the world. As Christ was crucified in the flesh, so must we be willing to be crucified to every thing that is not of God. We must not be taken captive by the world and its evil satanic schemes, which have no part with God. Those who inherit eternal life are children of God, blood bought by the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. We must be willing to crucify those thoughts, that speech and deeds of evil that are part of the world.
People who have inherited eternal life because they accepted God's gracious gift of forgiveness of sins, should always be joyful. They can cast all their burdens onto the Lord. They do not have to carry their shame and guilt from the present or the past. These people are learning, day by day, that God as Jehovah Jireh, is their provider. As well these people can be healed through faith in God's Word from any sickness or disease. Furthermore, they have complete security, as a child of God, from whatever circumstance they may encounter. Their joy should be full when they realise they are no longer in Satan's kingdom of darkness but now in God's kingdom of love.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower against all the wiles and scheming plots of Satan and his demonic hosts. All power and authority, both in Heaven and Earth, is contained in the mighty name of Jesus. Christians must remember to call upon this name, first thing, before checking the internet or phoning the doctor or financial counsellor or even the pastor at church. Do it first thing in your day. It is the name that is all powerful and will always, I repeat always, bring wonderful and everlasting results for all who will believe. Never doubt the veracity and overcoming power of the name of Jesus. He is your elder brother and you are a joint heir with Him before the Throne of God the Father.
The confession of any person, particularly a Christian, is vital in order to live a full satisfying life. In a nutshell what we confess is what we will possess. Confess your sins when you repent and you will gain eternal life. Confess that there is no God and deny Jesus as Lord and Saviour and your destiny is Hell. Confess that you will do God's will and purposes and you will live a successful, fulfilled life. Confess lack of vision or God's provision for your life and you will live in poverty. Confess healing on God's Word and you will overcome all your health problems. A sure and just confession in Christ and His Word will always bring you God's full provision and His inheritance for your life.
Every person alive is responsible for their own actions. Each Christian is responsible to God for their own personal attitude to 'God and His Word, the Bible. Some will have great faith according to their willingness to receive understanding from God's Word through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Some will be willing to spend a little time with God and His Word and thereby have a much smaller endowment of faith. The vast majority of people will, unfortunately, reject God and His Word and will therefore will have no ability to believe and them=n receive from God. It is all according to our faith that we become willing to receive.
For those who desire to serve the Lord it is absolutely essential not to make spiritual decisions with head knowledge. It is vital that Christians listen to their inner voice or spirit. The inner voice hears directly from the Holy Spirit the things that God desires you to know. These are the things that glorify the Father in Jesus' name. They are those important decisions that enable us to inherit the best possible outcomes for our lives. These decisions can be obtained by diligently reading and confessing God's Word and by obeying the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone, to their own way. Christians are required by God, to turn to God's ways and to become crucified with Christ. No longer are they to do their own thing but must learn to crucify their flesh and its lusts. It is important to conform their lives according to the way Jesus lived on earth and obey His Word, the Bible. They must also be obedient to what the Holy Spirit teaches them to do. Daily they must crucify their flesh and walk in the abundance of goodness that God has provided for them. The old man or person must be crucified with Christ.
No one person and certainly no Christian will be able to enjoy a victorious life without abiding in the vine. The vine, Jesus Christ, is the centre of all earthly and eternal blessings. Our very life, as branches of the vine, depends on us to be willing to abide in the Lord and His Word and always listening to the Holy Spirit and being obedient to what the Lord desires for our life. Abiding means always to stay close and in peace, to the heartbeat of God, rather than trying to do our own thing or doing whatever other people or the world desire us to do.
The anointing or empowering of God for man's overcoming power in life is made available to us through the knowledge of God's Word and the release of the Holy Spirit in our life. Yokes keep people in bondage, often to each other. As the Lord's will and purposes flow through our life the more the yoke and bondage of Satan is broken off our lives. The more we are in accord with the knowledge of God and the more we apply the directions and understanding of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit the more the bondage and yokes in our life situations are broken off. We are the ones that determine how much of Satan's power is broken and cast out.
We, as blood bought children of God, have been given in Christ, complete victory over Satan and all His deceptive works. Because Jesus overcame Satan when He rose from the dead and ascended to the Father, we also have been raised with Christ and are seated with Him in heavenly places. No matter how hard the conflict might be we are assured of victory in Christ and His Word and the anointed power of the Holy Spirit. Many Christians live defeated lives because they use fleshly weapons to fight spiritual battles. Only by using spiritual weapons such as are found in Ephesians chapter 6, can we truly disarm Satan in our lives and become victorious Christians.
Whatever is your understanding about healing will greatly determine your healing outcome. The foundation of any Christian's healing must be the Word of God, whether it is for you or a family member or anyone else. God's Word is the basis of all true faith because our faith and particularly our healing, comes from reading, meditating and confessing God's Word over any situation that presents itself in our life. Nothing is too hard for God to do but we have to know what the Holy Spirit is telling our inner person, in order to pray righteously and therefore, effectively. One thing we must believe, without doubt, that it is always God's will to heal. God reveals this to us in both the Old and New Testaments.
To know your God, your heavenly Father through His Son is the most wonderful knowledge that any human being can have. Christians are well able to know their God through His Word, the Bible and through the anointing of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Our God is the true living God maker of heaven and earth. and all that is in it. Knowing our God and being obedient to His Son, Jesus Christ gives you forgiveness of sin and the wonderful inheritance of eternal life. With this amazing knowledge you can overcome the flesh, the world and the devil.
Our feelings are powerful tools in our life for good or bad. With our feelings we express love, joy, peace, hope but also pain, anger, anxiety and distress. Feelings or emotions can be a great hindrance to the faith walk of a Christian if we allow them to take control. Feelings express the emotions or attitude of the soul while faith through God's Word, enables us to pursue God's will and purposes in our life. If we are diligent in studying Gods Word and obeying the wisdom of the Holy Spirit we will be enabled to subject our feelings to God's faith working in us.
Usually we think of fools as people who are possibly low in intelligence and like mucking around and causing problems for themselves and other people. However, when we read and meditate on God's Word the Bible, we find out that the Holy God thinks quite otherwise. Many fools are very intelligent people who often have important positions in large corporations or government institutions. They may manage their own businesses or be in charge of a city; a state or even of an entire country. God's definition of a real fool is a person who does not acknowledge God as Creator and has no place for God in His thoughts or decisions.
Every human being is composed of body, soul and spirit. We are all tripartite beings. We live in a tent or skeletal framework surrounded by flesh called our body. This is our outer covering or tent. Each person also has a soul, This is our psychological part. This is composed of three major parts called our mind or intellect, our emotions or feelings and finally our will with which we make our decisions. Our third section is our spirit which connects our beings to God. We must never confuse our soul with our spirit. They are two different entities. Only born again Christians can contact God with their spirit or inner voice.
Every person that lives upon planet Earth needs to be ready for the future, particularly for what lies beyond the grave. Every man, woman or child has been created as a tripart being of spirit, soul and body. We can't see our spirit or soul but they are very much a part of our being just as our body is. After the grave we will live on either in an eternal state in Heaven or Hell. How important it is that we prepare ourselves for our eternal existence. it is imperative that we are eternally, ready.
We learn in the New Testament, particularly in the books of Matthew and Luke, that there are many aspects to the Kingdom of God. The Lord, speaking, through Matthew and Luke, informs us about rich people going to Heaven and how the church has been bitterly opposed over the past two thousand years. It also tells us that we must be childlike in attitude to become a member of the Kingdom and that Jesus told stories in parable form. These were earthly stories which contained heavenly meanings. This Kingdom is so different to all other kingdoms. This Kingdom comes to those who repent of their sins and love the Lord.
The Kingdom of Heaven or the Kingdom of God is the place where God desires to share all His goodness with His people.
What is an image? It is a likeness of what is real or true. Man is created in the likeness of God. This surely makes any member of the human race an amazing created being. This was God's intention for all people; that they be made like their Creator God. This striking information is first revealed in Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 and 27. God decreed that man was to be made in the image of God the Father; God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Mankind was created to have dominion over all of God's creation. God created men and women in the image of God.
We, who are born again, have been born of incorruptible seed by the Holy Spirit through Jesus' forgiveness of our sins to the honour and glory of God the Father. We have been resurrected, spiritually and according to scripture, are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We are far above Satan and his demonic horde because they have been relegated to live in the air above the earth and upon the earth. We, through God's Word and being obedient to the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, are seated far above all principalities and powers and well able to defeat Satan and destroy his evil works.
Satan, or the Devil, is always plotting to steal, kill or destroy from mankind through lies, deceit and violence. He hates God and God's love and forgiveness. Satan is the one behind all wars; various accidents that occur; diseases and catastrophies that afflict people. His animosity towards God and His creation knows no bounds. He sets people against each other in personal conflicts; racial divides; industrial disputes and armed warfare.
Every born again Christian has been anointed by the Holy Spirit to show forth the Kingdom of God and to bring honour and glory to the Father in Jesus' name. Our goal in life is to be like Jesus, Who is the Word of God. When He was upon this earth He preached the good news or gospel of the Kingdom of God. He went about doing good by healing the lepers and epileptics and healing all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Jesus also gave freedom to those who were oppressed of the Devil.
If my people, who are called by God's name, will only humble themselves and pray. How important it is for every born again Christian to lay their own paddles down and listen carefully to what the Lord desires in their life. If you are willing to do so then your life's circumstances will be changed, dramatically. It is hard work; very hard work to constantly do your own thing. The Lord's yoke or way of doing things is always easy and His burden, the way things should be done in life, is always easy. God's people are called by God's name. They are called Christians, or anointed ones, after Jesus, the Christ, who is the anointed One.
Rebellion has always been a major problem for people. since the fall in the Garden of Eden. The fall caused mankind to sin and therefore he was prone to rebellion because he now had a sin nature that always wanted to go against God's laws and commands. This rebellion caused people to become twisted in there understanding of how they were to live their life that God had created for them to live. Witchcraft is as rebellion because it is another name for a twisted lifestyle. Rebellion leads to witchcraft. Instead of obeying God mankind has developed a bad habit of despoiling their own lives and collectively, all of creation, to satisfy their fallen natures.
Only the precious blood of Christ, shed on our behalf on the Cross of Calvary, will give each person complete cleansing and abounding victory in their life. When you arm your life, through God's Word, with Christ's precious blood, victory is assured in every circumstance of your life. As it is applied against the wiles of Satan; against our own flesh and the willfulness of every circumstance of the world, then you become a victor anointed by the spirit of the living God. Never go out in the morning without applying the precious blood of the Lord over every circumstance you will encounter in that day. Every day is a victory day; if it is placed under Christ's blood.
All those people who have willingly repented and asked the Lord for forgiveness of their sins have been recreated spiritually as new creations in Christ. The former things have passed away for these people have been crucified with Christ and given a new nature. No longer do they live according to the ways of the world. Their whole nature is changed and Christ in them, through His resurrection power, and the indwelling anointing of the Holy Spirit, has given them the hope of glory and the assurance, through obedience to God's will and purposes, the gift of eternal life.
Can anyone on the face of this earth have a guarantee for their future? We know that life expectancy in western countries has risen above eighty years of age with some people living well into their nineties and beyond. However, there are also many obstacles to living a long life on earth. Some children die at childbirth or in infancy and we often hear or read about young people dying in their teen years or long before they turn forty. Many people believe in heaven, where they hope to end up and a very few believe even in hell. Only a born again Christian has a guarantee of being able to live with God for eternity.
Your enemy is a vicious, cruel, deceptive and seductive being lurking usually in the shadows of life, out of human vision. He is the personage that controls and corrupts the world's systems for the moment and all those people who do not know or honour Jesus Christ as the Lord of their life. This arch enemy is referred to many times in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible with titles such as the serpent, the devil, Satan, Lucifer, Apollyon and other titles. This creature of great perfidy is your real enemy in life and not other people.
The life of a Christian must be built upon the solid rock foundation of God and who He is. This foundation will only be realised by having a knowledge of His Word. This knowledge reveals that God Himself is love and His faith works by love. Our life for living comes from His Word and must come from His Word, alone. Likewise our works and the things we do in life must be based on who God is and His faith is the substance of what He does through love.
John the Baptist was the forerunner of the coming of the Lord. He was a physical cousin of the Lord. He was called by God to go out into the wilderness of Judea and prepare the way of the Lord. His message to the people of Israel was to repent of their sins for the Kingdom of God was at hand. This message is still the same today. We are to tell people that they must repent in order to enter the Kingdom of God. Without repentance there is no forgiveness of sins and therefore hell becomes the eternal reality rather than heaven.
In order to walk by faith through God's love, it is essential that we develop our fellowship with the Lord. We need to praise the Lord and worship Him consistently. Only as we keep praising the Lord and in using His Word, the Bible, to help us do so, will we truly have fellowship with the lord. The Lord is enthroned on the praise and worship of His people. We are to listen to the Holy Spirit and read and confess the Word according to the Holy Spirit's directions. Then we can thank and praise Him for who He is and His marvelous blessings in our life.
When a little baby is born there is usually a welcoming committee of parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and close friends. It is a very happy occasion! That little one will grow up knowing mothers and others' natural love. Whether brought up in a Christian home or an unbelieving home that little child will one day be faced with the realisation that there are two paths one can walk. The best path is hand in hand with Jesus leading to eternal life. The other path seems alright at first but if followed into adulthood and beyond without repentance and forgiveness of their sins it will surely lead to eternal damnation and hell. There is an eternal difference between the two destinations.
It is so important to live a clean life.Today there is a very great emphasis on sanitation and cleanliness because of the outbreak of diseases threatening mankind's existence. Washing of hands, thoroughly, for cleanliness is a top priority. However there is a depth of cleanliness that God requires of people that supersedes the physical needs of people and reaches into the spiritual being of who we really are. This cleanliness not only embraces the physical but also the spiritual, that is necessary for a cleansed and sanctified body, soul and spirit. Not only our hands require cleansing but our hearts, as well.
Every born again child of God is a very wealthy person;even more wealthy than the richest non believer on earth. First of all they are able to gain immense riches of healing in body, soul and spirit. They have a blood covenant with God; the Creator of the Universe and as a result, as they yield everything to God, they are then able to partake of all God's wealth. In order to have a complete entry into God's blessings. Christians must be obedient to the Lord and His Word and to the directions of the Holy Spirit.
To be able to endure or last the distance is one of the most important qualities of anyone's life. The runner who reaches the finishing line has endured the race. The mother who endures the constant negative aspects of her children but keeps loving them, regardless, is a prime example. The person who works at their vocation tirelessly, with little increase in rewards but labours for the benefit of others, has learnt to endure. The dedicated Christian who believes God's Word is true, in all kinds of trying circumstances, is a person of enduring spiritual character. These people who learn to endure even to the end of the circumstance or the end of their lives, are those who make it not only in a physical sense, but very much in the spiritual realm.
Without faith we cannot please God. Every true born again Christian must walk or live by faith in God and His Word. You will only grow in faith as you read, meditate, confess and apply God's Word to all your circumstances in life. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and our evidence of the unseen world of the Spirit of God. Faith is the opposite of fear. All those who do not walk by faith, walk tn the fear that Satan tries to inculcate in all the unsaved.
To be seated in heavenly places is to be seated with Christ. This is far above all principalities and powers. We are in a position to shoot down the enemies' plans because Satan is only the prince of the air. We are far above his position, for he is only allowed within the perimeters of earth's dominion. He and his demons were cast down to the earth when Jesus rose triumphant from the grave at His resurrection and took captivity; that is Satan and his devilish works, captive. He has since that time had no access to God's throne but we in Christ and His righteousness have direct access to the Father in Jesus' name.
We must be willing to yield our lives and our whole bodies to the Lord. Sometimes we want to keep back some areas of our life for our own control. It is important that we yield all to the Lord so that we can have His complete blessings in our life; free from doubt, and depression. Present all to the Lord. Don't hold back; it's not worth it!
In Psalm 20 verse 7 we learn that some people trusted in chariots and some in horses. Well today they often trust in churches or denominations. However, those who really understand that they need a firm foundation in life trust in the name of the Lord our God. We must trust safely in Jesus Christ and His Word, the Bible and our blood covenant with our God and never in our situations or circumstances.
Because you belong to God you also have a wonderful blood covenant with your Father in Heaven. When you repented of your sins Jesus forgave you and also enabled you to inherit all of God's blessings as you yielded all of your life to Him. His blessings flowed richly to you through His love, joy and peace in your life. All your blessings are based on the Word of God and the Holy Spirit's directions.
God loves people. However, let's get this one fact right. According to God's Word, the Bible; God hates divorce. Divorce can mean permanent separation. Eternal separation from God is the greatest tragedy for it lasts for eternity for those who reject God and His Word. Those people who are married and are contemplating divorce from their marriage partner need to carefully reconsider what God tells us in His Word about the subject of divorce.
God has given all His human creation the power of free will to choose what they desire to do with their life. God's Word, the Bible, teaches people what God"s will and purposes are and how you are to live your life. If you are willing to repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour then you have chosen eternal life. If you reject God's way of salvation, then by default, you choose to go to Hell. You make the decision!
Remember you have a most wonderful blood covenant sealed by the Lord Jesus Christ in His Blood on the Cross of Calvary. This covenant is eternal for all those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and have repented and sought God's forgiveness for their sins. We yield all that is ours to Jesus and in turn all heaven's blessings become ours. We are eternally children of God and have a blood covenant that protects us from all the predations of satan including sickness, disease and accidents.
Thinking God centered thoughts and having righteous intentions and motives is the most godly thing a Christian can do. Each Christian needs to have their thoughts based on God's Word so that all they speak and do is motivated with the intention of glorifying God the Father in Jesus name. They are not corrupt thoughts which cause grief and sorrow and greed to come forth. Their thoughts not only glorify God but bring joy and freedom to all who desire righteousness. You can see their godly thoughts and actions promoting all that is true and noble and just.
It is absolutely essential that every born again blood bought Christian knows that they are seated in heavenly places in Christ. We are no longer just sojourners on planet Earth but have been resurrected with Christ. He is the head and we are His body. The head, Jesus, gives us our directions and we, as His body, the church, are to carry out His commands. The body is enabled to carry out the head's instructions because they are both seated in heavenly places with the knowledge and wisdom of the Word of God.
It is a wicked and terrible thing for any person to despise the Word of God. After all it is God's manual showing us how to walk by faith and enabling us to know how to inherit His eternal promises and our eternal life. To despise God's Word can happen in a number of different ways. Firstly, we may not read it or very rarely or only when we go to church. Secondly, we can be selective and only read certain sections that we've been taught to believe or that we want to agree with. Thirdly, we can tell others what God's Word tells us on a specific topic but we neglect to practise obeying God's Word in our own life style.
True gender equality was created by God around 6,000 years ago in the creation of Adam the first man and Eve the first woman. Adam was formed from the dust of planet Earth and then God later took one of Adam's ribs and created Eve. Adam was created a male and was given authority over all of God's creation and Eve was created a female and became Adam's mate, helper and assistant. Before the fall from God's perfection to the entering of sin into the world, they lived in the Garden of Eden.
What does righteousness mean?It means perfect standing or correct placement before God's Throne in Heaven. Nothing on earth is righteous by itself.Only God is truly righteous. The only people who are in right standing or righteous before God are those who have been forgiven their sins and have accepted the free gift of righteousness that has been given by God's grace to all who have been cleansed by the Blood of Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary. That is the only true path of righteousness for all mankind.
Corona virus is a respiratory disease that has not been medically observed or studied on previous occasions. It is evidently in the SARS strain of influenza. All diseases are a result of sin. Satan loves to make people sick and of course, try to kill them in the process. His main aim in life is to rob, kill and destroy peoples' lives. Corona virus does not prevail so much from man's lack of hygiene or unhealthy living conditions but rather from a demonic, or fallen, angel commissioned by Satan.
In God we trust is the motto of a very important country. It is a very important motto for all who are born again Christians. If our trust is not in God then our trust is most likely in ourselves, our partner, our friends, our job or anything else but God.This is extremely shaky ground for anyone to trust in. We must trust in God and in particular what He has told us in His Word and even more so as the Holy Spirit enables us to have greater wisdom and understanding.
As Christians we are to live and work as clean people. We are to have hearts and thoughts cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus, shed for us on the Cross of Calvary. Clean living requires us to be clean in all we do. Both the Old and New Testaments teach the necessity of personal bodily cleansing, which should be an integral part of our spiritual life. We must desire to be like the Lord. Christians should be charactorised as people of cleanliness.
It is only when we realise, as Christians, that Christ actually lives in us that we have real hope now and throughout eternity. It is only when we hand over every aspect of our life to the Lord that we begin to understand the true reality of eternal life. Those who love the Lord with all their heart, their mind and all their strength have passed from eternal damnation to eternal life. We who obey the lord have this great hope constantly set before us.
We must be careful to listen to the Holy Spirit and be obedient to follow His instructions. Our goal in life must be to serve the Lord so that we are enabled to bring honour and glory to the Father. No one can afford to do their own thing in life. We must follow the Word of God and the Holy Spirit's directions. Sadly, if you don't you will miss out on eternal life, as many people have already done, throughout the centuries. Be obedient to the Lord and your reward will be eternal life. You must seek the Lord and if you do you won't lose out.
As children and servants of the most High God we must walk in the light as revealed through God's Word and under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Those who walk in the light are anointed by the Lord to dispel the darkness of the world. As each Christian comes to and lives in each circumstance they encounter in life they radiate light from their source of light, who is Jesus, the of the world,
False teachers abound in Christian churches today just as they did in the time of Paul's ministry. Many are servants of Satan who have, through Satan's power, been transformed into apostles or teachers of light. There are others who are sincere yet deluded because they leave out whole chapters of the New Testament believing and teaching that certain parts of scripture were only for the first forty years for the establishment of the church and are not relevant for Christians of the 21st century.
There are two most important things that every Christian needs to know and apply in their lives. Firstly, they must love the Lord their God and secondly love their neighbour or other people like themselves.Their is only one true God. That God is God the Father, God the Son, manifest on earth as Jesus and God the Holy Spirit. Without God's foundation of His love through us to Himself, and to other people we will live a useless life. We are created by God to live as lovers of all who God is and that which He has made possible for our fulfillment in Him.
People are made in the image of God. They are created to be God like beings. Their spirit was given to each one by God. Only those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour have been enabled to inherit God's promise of eternal life. These people have been endowed with God's power as the Holy Spirit lives within them.
We must learn how to do God's will. Why?If we truly desire to be like Jesus and walk in His ways then we must be willing, as Jesus was, to do the will of the Father. The Lord has asked you to follow Him and do certain tasks that you are not doing at the moment. We just can't afford to ignore the holy Spirit's pleading. We must yield ourselves to God's will and purposes so our life is fulfilled in Him.
God's thoughts and God's ways are so much higher than our thoughts and our ways. It is so important for every Christian to tap into God's wisdom. God's thoughts and God's ways lead to eternal life. Our thoughts and our ways without the illumination of the Holy Spirit upon God's Word, only lead people to a lack of real knowledge and understanding and eventually to eternal destruction, if not repented of.
To seek for anything or anyone in life means to search out and look for something with a very diligent attitude. We are not just window shopping or looking casually for something or someone but we involve our whole desire and being into finding what we need to know. This must be our approach when searching for what is of paramount importance to our life. Seeking the Lord with all our heart must be the supreme desire and interest of every human being.
One of the major causes of defeat in the lives of many people, including Christians, is not being aware of or being prepared for what might come our way. Christians must learn to be directed by the Holy Spirit and obedient to the instructions we are given. To ignore God's Word or be disobedient to the things God has told us to do is tantamount to spiritual suicide. If we are prepared to listen and obey we will be victorious!
It is so important to read the Word of God, daily and keep listening to the Holy Spirit for your directions. You must be careful about what you think and say and do. However you must not take care but you cast all your care and worries and problems upon the Lord. He alone knows how to deal with them, and give you His peace. There is such a world of difference between being careful in the way you live and allowing your cares and those of others to dominate your life.
God's Word is truth because God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are the perfect source of all that is true. In the Godhead there are no lies.
Obedience is paramount in your Christian life. Without obedience to God and His will and purposes for your life you will remain unfulfilled and unable to be a witness to God's amazing life plan. On the other hand we read in 1 Samuel chapter 15 verse 23 that disobedience is called rebellion and rebellion is aligned with witchcraft.
We must never doubt God or the promises in His Word. Doubt brings unbelief, fear and anguish to our soul. Doubt begins as a thought in our mind. It can be fueled by false statements from other people, or things we view or things we read. It can be caused by personal failures or outside circumstances. To overcome doubt we need to stop proclaiming doubt and settle down and read God's Word, meditate on God's Word and confess God's Word over all the situations we are involved in. Doubt will grow like a cancer unless it is pulled out by the roots and cast into the bin.
Satan is a liar and a deceiver who comes against everyone and particularly God's chosen children, to rob, kill and destroy. Satan is also known by his familiar name, the devil. He hates all mankind and works tirelessly to take as many as he can with him to Hell. He is a malicious being full of hatred, violence and deceit and attempts to come against God and His laws and God's righteousness and truth and infect as many people as possible with his devious errors and lies.
God's children are all those people from every tribe and nation that worship God in spirit and in truth. Our praise and worship must be for Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. He alone was worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Jesus was slain on the Cross for all mankind. Those who accepted His sacrifice had their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life. The blood shed on the Cross has completely redeemed God's children and enabled them to become one with their Father in Heaven.
In the time of King David and Israel, shepherds were important pastoral leaders. They looked after docile sheep in the Judean hills. The Spring season was an important part of the year when new lambs were born and the older sheep were shorn of their fleeces. Unfortunately, a hired shepherd, did not care for the flock in the same way as the true shepherd. Shepherds were meant to guard their flocks at night from predators. When evening came the flocks were counted and during the hot summer days the shepherds led their flocks to cool pools or drew their water from wells. During the cool winter days the sheep were often herded in caves for protection from the elements.
If you have given your life to the Lord and you know that you are forgiven then you can be assured by the Word of God that you are cleansed by the Blood shed by Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. Each day as you read God's Word, confess and meditate on God's Word and apply God's Word to your circumstances, your understanding of being forgiven and a greater knowledge of being purified and cleansed becomes your earthly portion.
It is so important to discipline your children in love. To discipline them in God's love means you discipline them in real love. So many children today, even in so called Christian countries, are brought up in a society that has lost the understanding of disciplining children according to 'God's will and purposes. No wonder that so many young people are disrespectful to their parents and to all those in authority. They have few if any biblical guidelines to their behaviour and consequently many are hooked on drugs and become violent against society's expectations.
To be diligent and purpose bent is such an important attitude for any aspect of our life on earth. How much more important is it that we have our focus on the Lord and His Word so that we can pursue God's will and purposes for our life. We read that the psalmist in psalm 77 verse 6 called to remembrance the things that he heard in the night while at rest. These things from the Lord were recalled and meditated upon. Our spirit needs to make a constant diligent search for the things of God contained in His Word and listen to what is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit.
It is so important not to lose your confidence. You must be confident in Christ and in His forgiveness of your sins and His reward of eternal life. This confidence is for all who believe and who keep on keeping on in their spiritual walk with Jesus. Confidence is our trust in the immeasurable overcoming power that comes to us through the knowledge that we are resurrected by Jesus power and His goodness being available to us each and every day while on earth and throughout eternity.
Nehemiah had the massive task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem when the people had returned after their captivity in Babylon. It was no easy task! They were confronted by their enemies who did not want to see the walls rebuilt after being in ruins for seventy years. In one hand they carried the materials for repairing the wall and in the other they held their weapons ready for any armed attack. They built but they were constantly on guard against the enemy. Christians must do likewise for they too are constantly in a battle against the enemy.
Our provider is called Jehovah Jireh. He is our Father God. He always is able and will supply all our needs if we are willing to ask Him and to trust Him to do so. He knows what we need; what we really need; before we ask Him. What He supplies will always be sufficient and correct for our purposes at the time. He won't supply all our wants because many of our wants can come from corrupt desires influenced by the world and the flesh. However, He will supply all our real needs if we allow Him to do so rather than just relying on the world's system of doing things.
Everyone desires to live in and enjoy freedom. No one wants to live in bondage. The only true freedom anyone can know is to have freedom in Christ. Those that accept God's free gift of salvation, through the Lord's blood shed on their behalf on the Cross are the only people who know true freedom. They are forever free from the ravages and bondage of sin.Their acceptance of God's free gift gives them freedom and forgiveness from sin and enables them to inherit eternal life.
So many Christians, particularly in Pentecostal circles, are looking towards revival. We know from scripture and historical evidence over the many intervening centuries, that since the baptism of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, there have been a number of major revival occasions. All those who experience revival have been willing to prepare their hearts before the Lord and be obedient to the Holy Spirit's directions. These revivals were all based on revelation knowledge of an absolute need to do God's will and purposes instead of their own desires.
Time is precious but it is finite in duration and does not belong in eternity but is for the present age in which we now live. Mankind's life on earth is bound by time. There is a time to be born; a time to marry and have a family; a time to make an eternal decision to serve the Lord and finally a time to leave this planet as billions of people have already done. Our time and what we will do with our time are in God's hands. We can fritter our time away on performing useless tasks or we can determine to serve the Lord and bring honour and glory to the Father in Jesus' name.
It is so important that we have pure, good and godly thoughts. From our thoughts proceed our motives, attitudes and intentions. From our thoughts also proceed our speech and our actions. In Proverbs chapter 23 verse 7a we read virtually the signature verse of this podcast. As a person thinks in their heart that is who they really are at that point of their life. A person's thought life will be the determining factor in their life either for good or for evil.
No born again Christian is any longer under any condemnation. They have been freed by the shed Blood of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. There were those believers who lived before the Cross who believed that God would save them from condemnation. They looked forward to the Cross for their salvation. Those since the Cross and because of the Lord's resurrection power look back to the Cross for their redemption from the condemnation wrought upon their lives through a sin nature and the evil work of the flesh, the world and the Devil.
In order to grow your Christian life it is absolutely essential to read God's Word on a regular basis. You can't just rely on your pastor's sermon last Sunday or upon your friends' Christian walk. It is your responsibility to read the Word of God, the Bible,at least once a day and preferably more than once a day. Getting up regularly to read God's Word, early in the morning, is the best way to start your day.
Because Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary and shed His Holy Blood and then rose again on our behalf we have assurance that the yoke of captivity over our lives is broken off. We have been made free in Christ and Him, alone. There is no other way for any person to have their bondages broken off but through the deliverance that Jesus wrought on the Cross for all mankind. This means freedom from hatred and dislike of other people. It means freedom from physical bondages and diseases. It means freedom from all financial burdens and the freedom of sins forgiven and condemnation.
God has set His own limits. His whole being is limitless but is bound by His Divine nature. He is always loving and can not lie. He never is merciless or unkind. He is unlimited by space or time. He has the ability to help all who repent and come to Him for forgiveness. Man by contrast, while in His earthly state, is very limited by time and space and wisdom and knowledge. People can not create things by themselves, alone. Every one is limited by the understanding God allows them to have. They are mortal. Only by redemption through Christ's precious blood can people put on immortality leading to eternal life.
To have a heart for who God is and all He does for us is an amazing revelation of His love, His truth, and His great grace. it is important to know the Father through Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, and the Holy Spirit"s anointing. It is much more important to be able to know the Lord and share fellowship with Him than even knowing the mighty things He has done, is doing and will do in our lives. Our heart, our very being, must love dwelling in God's presence and being willing to carry out His desires in our life.
Hunger is a tremendous problem in many countries of the world and particularly on the continent of Africa. Many people lose their lives because of famine caused by both natural and man made disasters. It is not a very comforting thing to be confronted by a lack of food for your family and yourself. While the hunger of the flesh is very crippling and even deadly to millions of people it pales into insignificance when compared with the lack of spiritual food for the soul of mankind. Many more people, even among so called Christians, die of spiritual hunger than ever die of natural food and water.
To be transformed is to be completely made anew. We are no longer a person of the flesh in our intentions and desires but someone who is able to walk in fellowship with God. As a Christian we have been translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God's dear Son Jesus. We are constantly being re- focused and re- energised by the Word of God and the Spirit of God. The old person has passed away and the new person and all that they do is being completely changed by God, on a daily basis.
If you have given your life to Jesus and are continuing on His way by reading His Word, the Bible, regularly and living your life filled with the Holy Spirit, you have already entered eternal life. This is through accepting the shed blood of the Lord for the forgiveness of your sins and having a willingness to be conformed into the image of Christ so that the Father is glorified in the Son. For all those who have already done this eternal life has already begun.
To be a disciple of any person or profession is to be more than just a follower. A disciple who is an apprentice to a master craftsman should be willing to learn all that there is to know about their chosen vocation. When a person gives their life to the Lord they have become apprentices or disciples for the Lord's chosen work for them. Their main tool of trade is the written Word, the Bible, which they are to learn to use skillfully under the wise tutelage of the Holy spirit of God.
Christians have been chosen and elected to be God's children by God the Father. Once they give their lives to the Lord and are willing to walk by faith in His Word they become separated from the things of the flesh, the world and the devil. They become a royal priesthood destined for eternal glory. This earth is no longer their home but they look towards their eternal home, the new Jerusalem. While here they become ambassadors for the Kingdom of God. They have been translated from the devil's kingdom into the heavenly kingdom of Jesus.

The God that we know and serve is the only true God who became manifest on Earth as Jesus Christ. God is three mighty and marvelous persons in one Godhead; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is the only person well able to deliver us from the flesh, the world and the devil. In Jesus Christ we are able to be redeemed through His Blood shed on the Cross at Calvary. Our God is well able to give us eternal life and freedom from guilt. His overcoming power and His ability gives us a life that is fulfilled with His goodness and blessings.
Walking by faith means that a Christian must be faithful in worshipping and obeying the Lord. Faithfulness occurs when a person is willing to remain faithful to the Lord, not for just a period of time, but for their life's journey on earth. They must be faithful in whatever the lord has given them to do. All who endure to the end will be saved. We must always be willing to continue walking by faith. The rewards for those who do are eternal life, far beyond what anyone can understand or imagine.
It is most important that we learn to walk in His Word. The Bible is our textbook of life and particularly the New Testament, showing us the way that we learn to live in God's ways. If we faithfully follow the precepts and commands of God's Word and are diligent in our prayer life, then the ways of the world, the flesh and the devil. will not lead us astray. God's Word and obedience to the Holy Spirit enables us to have true fellowship with the Father in Jesus name.
To thrive and be successful everyone and everything must have a safe and secure foundation. Every building must be built so that it will stand the test of time. Every life must be built on a firm foundation. That firm foundation is Jesus and His Word. Jesus is not only the Word of God but also the Rock of our salvation and the only one who forms the true foundation for the life of every redeemed, born again person.
To be thankful is to be full of appreciation. Always and in all things we must learn to be thankful to God for His abundant mercies towards us. We are to be thankful to Him for who He is. God is a righteous and Holy God who loves and provides for us. he has created a wonderful natural world for us to live in. He has saved us from the despair and misery that is a part of this world. he has given us faith, hope and love. He has created us to live eternally with Him as His redeemed children.
To honour someone or something is to acknowledge or to pay respect to the person or thing being honoured. God is to be honoured with the utmost respect because He alone is the supreme ruler and the heart of everything in the universe. In order to truly honour God we must also honour His Word for in so doing we also regard God's Word as giving us the greatest understanding of life that can be attained.
Diligence requires a Godly vision or goal that can only be realised through the direction of the Holy Spirit and a day by day understanding of God's Word. it requires patience, perseverance, hard work and resolution on the part of each born again Christian to achieve. Without diligence a Christian will not receive the blessings that God intended for them nor a real knowledge of the purpose for their existence.
We are saved for eternity from the decadence of our wayward lives by accepting the shed blood of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins. We are made completely free and declared righteous by Jesus before the throne of God in Heaven. Those who have made their decision to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and are determined to allow the Word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to keep them so have already inherited God's righteousness and the eternal life He provides for them from the day of acceptance and forever.
Those that read the Word and meditate on the Word and confess the Word are those whose spiritual ears are enlightened to hear the Holy Spirit"s instructions of wisdom and discernment. Their understanding of God's Word becomes heightened and are more able to hear God's instructions for their life and less likely to be distracted from God's purposes by the things of the flesh, the world and the devil.
Victory is something that every person desires. Every general and his army have always fought to achieve victory in battle, even against seemingly impossible odds. Victory means that you have conquered your foes and become triumphant. Every Christian must desire to become triumphant and obtain their victory in Jesus Christ and His Word.
God's Word is truth because God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are the perfect source of all that is true. in the Godhead there are no lies. After all God is the source of all creation. He doesn't have to lie. Man often fabricates a false reality that is far removed from God and His truth. God knows all things so whatever comes from our Lord and His Word is absolute truth. Believe in God's Word and you will walk in God's truth.
Joy is everlasting in the presence of the Lord.It is far more than happiness where we are consoled by some earthly experience or happening. It is a deep rooted knowledge of God's peace and love which enables us to overcome in every earthly encounter . Joy enables the living waters of life to flow out to others in worship to the Lord and meaningful compassion to other people.

Why are you fighting battles using your own fleshly weapons? Don't you know that this is real spiritual warfare and only battles won by faith in God's Word under the leadership of the Lord and the direction of the Holy Spirit can win the battle? You are not able to win your battles by yourself. It is impossible to win spiritual battles by engaging in the flesh and using fleshly weapons to try to win a spiritual battle. it just doesn't happen!
The only person that truly knows your heart is God. He created you and knows every breath, every thought and every movement you make. He is perfectly aware of your heart and your emotions. You cannot hide yourself from God. Yet God loves you just as you are. All you need to do is turn your heart and life completely over to Him to have peace and contentment and real joy in your life.
There is no other name among men whereby they may be saved. The only name for our salvation is Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, the mightiest of all names now and for all eternity. He is the only One to whom our Father God has given authority to save and hold for all eternity, those who are willing to believe on His Name.
Wait in faith upon the Lord.We are to wait upon and then abide in the Lord's will and purposes for our lives. Our salvation comes only from the Lord. His will and submisssion to his will allows His salvation to be in every part of our life. Jacob announces in Genesis chapter 49 and verse 18 that he waited for the salvation of the Lord.So must we!
To cast means to throw out as when you go fishing you cast the line out to catch fish. We must not carry cares or burdens for they will destroy us. To cast all our cares away we must be willing to do so. It is important not to carry them anymore but to give our cares and burdens wholly and solely to our loving Lord Jesus. He is the only one who is truly able to bare them for us.
The fear of the Lord and who He is, is an absolute necessity for all Christians to know and understand. Our God is the only Creator of all things. He alone has made us and we are His people. Christians must fear the Lord and His Word as a mark of deep reverence and respect. If there is no fear of God there is no real respect for authority at all.
From the mouth we speak words that determine our direction in life. We speak words that speak life and attain life or speak death and destruction as our end. Our tongue is given to us to praise God and to uplift the hearts of other people. Only mankind has the ability to speak out their thoughts and intentions to others . What a powerful weapon for good or evil is our tongue!

We must have a willingness to do God's will and purposes in our life. Surrendering your will to the Lord is without doubt the most important decision you will ever make.
Reconciliation means bringing things and particularly, people. together when the pieces and/or the relationships are broken. Redemption means to be changed from a life of uselessness to a life of worthiness. Jesus has not only reconciled those who believe to their Father God in Heaven but has also redeemed their lives from the wages of sin and death.
Sin is everything that contradicts and goes against God's will and purposes and the laws He has set in motion. Our conscience is given to us to enable us to know what is right and what is wrong. Sin and the effects of sin can be disastrous for anyone. We see the result of mans' innate desire to sin and the effects of misery and dissatisfaction it brings into a person's life.
The peace of God is so important for every individual and particularly, God's own children. What a whirlwind world we live in. There is rarely a time to rest with shopping, sporting and entertainment events available all days of the week. As well, in many cases, work is often scheduled for most days of the week. However we need to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit and to meditate on the Word of God so that we can enter God's rest, which is available to all believers. It is absolutely imperative that, as we live our life on earth, we learn to enter God's rest.
In order to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil, we must be endowed with power from on-high. Those who are born again are filled with the Holy Spirit of God as well as our Lord Jesus, the Word of God. It is important to regularly use the gifts and empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our life, so that God can fulfill His plan for us and enable us to glorify the Father in Jesus' name as well as to be able to bless other people.
The defeat of Satan and his power over God's children was fully secured for eternity when Jesus was raised from the dead. His resurrection and the acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Saviour enables the sure resurrection of all God's children and victory over the world, the flesh and the Devil.
God's grace is His unmerited favour to all of mankind. God has given man an opportunity to share the goodness and wealth of His treasures and resources with us. God bestows His grace or favour upon us so we can live a sanctified life instead of making it a mess doing it our way.
Teaching your child is a vital part of being a parent. So many parents today don't realise the enormous God given responsibility that they have in educating their children. It is true that much of a child's training, particularly as they get older, is often done outside the home. However the Bible is crystal clear about parents teaching their children about God and His Word and doing it, thoroughly and regularly.
We are told in Leviticus chapter 17 that the life of the flesh is in the blood. We learn that Jesus entered the most Holy Place, with His own Blood. By this He obtained our eternal redemption. Only the Blood of Jesus shed on the Cross can atone for all sin, guilt and shame.

We are all faced with eternity. We don't live on this planet forever. We will reside in one or two places. For all who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour there eternal residence is with God the father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit forever in Heaven. Those who have not accepted will spend eternity in Hell with Satan and his demons.
God is love. He is the source of all true love. Without God's love in our lives we, as humans, will find it impossible to truly love as God loves. God's love must flow constantly through our lives in all situations and circumstances so that the Holy Spirit can truly reveal who God is.
Each member of the human race needs to take stock of their lives at various stages of their development. Where am I going now? What changes do I need to make in my life? am I achieving the goals I set out to reach in previous years? Am I satisfied with my lifestyle? Do I need to change? If so, how can I change?
Righteousness means our proper and perfect standing before God. it was secured for us by the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on the Cross of Calvary. Acceptance of this provides for us justification through faith in the redemption that Jesus provided for us. It is available to each person when they repent of their sins and claim Jesus' redemption as their own in and through Him to the honour and glory of the Father.
Our God is a giving God. He gives life to all who call upon Him.However it is very important that we willingly give and desire to see others blessed in abundance. With the effort we make with love, friendship, helping others and even finances is the same measure that we will be rewarded, ourselves.
Jesus is the anointed Son of God and all of God's children can partake of His anointing. This is essential in order to live a life honourable to God here on earth.

In 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24 we learn about the healing that Jesus provided for His children through His atoning victory on the Cross.. The Word tells us that'by His stripes we are healed'. Everything that we do, as part of God's will for our lives, must be by faith. In Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6 we are explicitly told that without faith we cannot please God. We must first believe that He exists and diligently rewards all those that who believe in Him. Healing is one of God's greatest rewards for believing in Him and what He alone achieved, for us, on the Cross of Calvary.

Faith in god and his Word will bring that hope or vision into reality however, to achieve the faith goals, the Lord has given us, we must grow in God's ways. often our faith must become stronger and grow as a mustard seed. Faith only comes by hearing and putting God's Word into practice in our daily lives.
