Matthew 4: 1- 11
Jesus after 40 days and Nights fasting in the woods is tempted by Satan. What can we learn we can apply to our lives.
John the Baptist was chosen to make the Path Straight for Jesus Ministry.
Now posting video: Bible Growth Guy
Quick Podcast to call for Prayer for the People of Ukraine and to share a couple of Bible versus that seem to fit this situation.
Next Week is the Story of John the Baptist
Growing up one of the things I always heard was this idea that the woman was subject to that man. Woman must be obedient. Well then I started actually reading the Bible... yep maybe the male chauvinist inside us loves that first verse. Although something tells me there is more and there is. So guys read this passage and pray on it and start working to hold yourself to this standard. We can only hold to this standard if we let Christ in and walk regularly with him. Such an awesome thing to do. Once we do this and then combine that with our relationship with this passage we will have happier and more fulfilling times with the most wonderful person in our lives and if she is not then we have to not look to her but to us and see what we are doing and reflect on this. Guys and Gals this is the most wonderful passage. Once it hits you... wow.
Jesus teaches us to be compassionate toward people. Even when we don’t feel like it. Through reading our Bible, Praying, and Fasting we can maintain our finely tuned compassion. It is so important.
Salvation is receiving forgiveness for your sins. Talk about salvation and what it is and why we should share it with others.

How to Pray
Matthew 6:5-15 (KJV)
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Luke 11:1-4 (KJV)
1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
How to Pray in 6 Steps
Praying is time between you and God. This is done in private as you would any private conversation. Do not use Vain Repetitions when praying. Much Speaking.
How to Pray
5 Secrets of Prayer:
Place and Time:
As new and old Christians we need to have a prayer life. How long would your relationships last if you did not talk to your friends and family….
Additionally occurs to me that the six steps of prayer would be good to implement in your personal life. Imagine if you Praised your friends said something positive WOW!!!
Found your friends Will what their plans are and what they want to do with their lives.
Imagine the Friendship if your Forgave your friends and held no resentments…. Even your family
Sustain are we friends to someone if we are there only during the good times, no.
Episode Three:
Want to talk about the preparation for the Podcasts.
Though mostly want to show what I use to prepare. Materials
Talking Points:
.
Wordsearch 12 is an online Study App that you can use to enhance your study of the Bible. You can purchase so many different books to assist you on your journey that will go into the apps Library…. Super great. Don’t have money myself for the expensive books and Sets, though such a good resource. Still you get a lot more than you would otherwise going to bookstores and purchasing each book individually.
E-Sword is Free: that is pretty cool also. Try first gives you the basic feel for a Bible App… also gives you free study material.

Pharisees… wonder if they ever sees anything. You know by now these guys know that Jesus has healed many. Knew that Jesus was the Son of God or knew he claimed to be. Their question was not genuine at all. The crowd was so large people cut holes through the ceiling to get a man down to get healed.
Despite their knowledge and information they have surely already gathered, like every proud person they simply ask a question knowing or at least hoping that Jesus would say something that would make the crowd begin to lose faith.
What's interesting the Pharisees did not care for the people being healed only in their stature as the men of god…( yes their god was not the God)..
Rise up and Walk or Thy Sins be forgiven thee… interesting on how Jesus structures this question.,, when Jesus healed a person they were forgiven? Wow… Jesus heals us its because of our belief that he can. So a person in need of healing already is surrendering themselves to God and asking to be at his mercy with their Faith in him.
Again we see the healed person get up with full strength and walk away carrying a couch… wow… bet superman after swallowing kryptonite could not just get up with full strength and walk away.
Have to apologize for the Trailer and previous episodes since they had issues with sound. Bible Growth Guy not Man :)
One of my first Recordings: Bear with me Learning as I go.
Luke 4:38-40
Luk 4:38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
Luk 4:39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
Luk 4:40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
Think About this. An elderly women who is sick with fever. Jesus speaks healing and she is cured. That is the wonderful thing, but I think we need to see the following: missed a point here.
When you get sick and your fever dissipates you don’t just get up and start serving other people. Your body is tired and you get some liquids down and go to sleep.
Nope. Jesus heals its a whole different level … she gets up and starts to serve them, and them is alot….
She serves Jesus… appreciates the healing. Sure everyone was amazed and grateful… but to Jesus with his faith in his Father… went on to heal more people. Jesus did not need to heal anyone… just come down and die on the cross and preach. Jesus was a man of action, heal, confront, minister, and develop his followers.
Luke 9 is a cool verse to look at…
