A highlight of the 2017 Memorial Day weekend for our church was a Sunday morning baptism service at Newport Beach.
Pastor Cole baptized two men -- and here's what God did.
There was one young man, who'd joined our church and had been baptized 2 years ago, who was the connection to both.
He assisted in the baptism of his father -- and then God moved on the heart of the friend he'd brought to the service -- and that young man gave his life to Christ and was baptized.

The one Pastor Cole looks at is how Jesus was at the well waiting for her, knew everything about her and didn't judge her -- in fact he commended her for answering His questions truthfully!
What is the lesson for us in that? We must remember that He is always available to love us and not hurt or harm us.
Psalm 103:8 says the Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
