The Friends Reel: Recent Episodes

The Friends Reel

A podcast about FRIENDS! Two sisters, Erica and Aubrie, come together and watch one episode at a time in chronological order. They discuss the plot lines, the characters, the actors, the fashion, what's still funny 25+ years later and maybe what isn't so funny anymore. They enjoy the occasional round of FRIENDS trivia trying to stump each other. You may think you're the biggest FRIENDS fan out there. But, Erica and Aubrie may have you beat!

Even in the world of Friends episodes, what goes up must come down and this re-watch definitely left us wanting. And there's only a singular general wondering-ment worth discussing: why does this episode exist?

Monica and Chandler are struggling to write their vows so they recruit the friends to help. A series of flashbacks showcasing how their relationship has blossomed over the years helps them put pen to paper.

Long time, no pod!! Sorry we've been MIA the past few weeks. But, we are back with another memorable re-watch. Winona may steal the show this episode but we've still got a list of general wondering-ments to get through. Who doesn't try on a tuxedo before leaving the shop? Should Joey's parents have been invited to the wedding? Let's discuss. Doing a seating chart over a month out from the wedding is not how it works. Do we think Rachel and Ross have already hooked up?

Rachel runs into an old sorority sister, Melissa, and recalls the time they got drunk at a frat party and made out. Melissa doesn't remember it but Rachel insists that it happened. Chandler and Ross both want to wear celebrity tuxedos to the wedding so it becomes a competition between James Bond 007 and Batman. Joey assumed his parents were invited to the wedding and now Monica has to find a way to make them fit into the seating chart.

Even the episodes where Erica and Aubrie disagree on the re-watchability are worth the re-watch! Our list of general wondering-ments is deeply concerning. Raise your hand if you're a woman who WANTS to look at male full frontal nudity in movies? We'll wait. How exactly is this "turtleneck" staying on? How does a Maid of Honor forget to plan a bridal shower for the bride? Ross may be twisted but are we not concerned about Cassie's icky factors in this situation?

Ross and Monica's cousin, Cassie, is visiting for a few days and not even Ross can take his eyes off of her. Rachel and Phoebe forgot to plan a bridal shower for Monica so they try to pull one off at the last minute. Joey is up for the perfect film role but, when the director is requiring that the actor they hire be uncircumcised, Joey gives him the thumbs up and turns to Monica for help.

We will never skip over this re-watch if for no other reason than Ned and Allen. If you know, you know! Our list of general wondering-ments needs to be addressed too. Monica has wedding jitters? Nah, don't buy it. Would the Soapys actually be televised? Why is Ross' velociraptor impression so dang good? Why weren't Ned and Allen offered permanent roles on the show?

Joey gets nominated for a Soapy award and brings Rachel to the ceremony as his date. Unfortunately, he fails to execute his gracious loser face when he loses. Ross takes pity on one of his students who claims that being in love with him has caused him to be unable to focus in class. But, things seem fishy when another student makes the same claim asking Ross to change his grade. Monica gets a case of wedding jitters when she begins to realize everything she'll be giving up by getting married.

An episode with a bargain bridal shop brawl will always be worth the re-watch. Let's not gloss over those general wondering-ments though. The dress Monica puts on and the dress she pulls off the discount rack is not the same dress. WHY?? Two months before her wedding and Monica hasn't purchased her dress or secured her wedding band? Shouldn't Joey, regular daytime soap opera actor, be able to afford just about as fancy of a date as Ross?

Monica enlists the girls' help in getting her dream wedding dress at a discount bridal shop in Brooklyn. But, when a rival bride threatens to steal away the band that Chandler desperately wants for the reception if Monica doesn't give her the dress, hard decisions will have to be made. Joey and Ross, unknowingly, begin dating the same woman. Once they figure it out it's survival of the fittest.

An episode re-watch with the most epic prank of all time is one that we would never miss! But let's not skip over our list of general wondering-ments. That's quite a bowl of pretzels you've got there, Pheebs!!! Geez. In the Joey and Monica "what could have been" scene, don't you think Monica might have also gained her weight back? One might be impressed by Chandler's ability disrobe quickly but let's not overlook the fact that Monica appears naked instantaneously without removing a single item of clothing. Finally, once again, let us argue over the difference between an etch-a-sketch and a magna-doodle.

After a failed attempt to find a suitable minister to perform their wedding, Monica and Chandler agree to let Joey do the ceremony himself. In an effort to learn more about their relationship so as to write a better ceremony speech, Joey asks them to tell him the story about that fateful night in London. Unknowingly, Phoebe tells Monica to tell him the truth about that night forcing Monica to confess that she was actually looking for Joey that night in London. Ross asks Rachel to babysit Ben. Trying to bond with him, Rachel teaches Ben the art of pranks and practical jokes. Ross is none too thrilled with his son's newfound hobby.

An episode re-watch where I'm not sure we've ever laughed this hard? Yes, please!! Even with the boisterous laughs and the occasional tangent, our list of general wondering-ments still warrants some attention. Is Guadalajara/La Guardia the best Joey joke of the series? It might be. We're pretty sure anybody would call in a noise complaint over how loud those bagpipes are. Susan Sarandon is a legend and George Stultz is not...let's discuss!

Joey's character on Days of Our Lives is coming out of his coma via a brain transplant which means the character of Jessica Lockhart is being killed off the show. So, Joey asks the actress, Cecilia, to help him learn how to play Jessica so that she can live on. Phoebe and Rachel see a cute guy leave his cell phone behind at Central Perk and proceed to fight over who should get to be the one to return it and, thus, begin their digital fairytale. Ross learns to play the bagpipes for Monica and Chandler's wedding.

An episode re-watch with a slew of birthday flashbacks is always worth it. Once we address the enormous elephant in the room that is Rachel's May birthday not tracking with this Feburary episode, we move on to the rest of our general wondering-ments. A formal birthday party inside an apartment that, we presume, isn't taking place until after 11pm feels a bit off, right? An entire MILE on a hippity-hop? We don't buy it. Just a tad more effort into character styling for the flashbacks would have been appreciated.

It's Rachel's 30th birthday. While she's wallowing in the fact that she's not anywhere near where she'd thought she'd be by this age, the rest of the friends remember their 30th birthdays. Phoebe aims to complete her birthday bucket list by reconciling with her sister and, instead, she finds out that she's actually 31. Monica shows up to her surprise party drunk and isn't subtle about it. Ross buys a sports car but can't even get it out of the parking spot.

Another week, another episode re-watch. The whole of the episode may be mostly forgettable, but still we mourn Rosita's passing. Our list of general wondering-ments is far from forgettable, though. What exactly is toner? While we're on the subject, what is escrow? It's for sure February AND a weekend and nothing is making sense. Why would Rachel and Joey reassemble Rosita before heading out to find a new chair?

Rachel accidentally breaks Joey's barca lounger, Rosita. When they return from the store with a new chair, Rosita appears to be miraculously healed...but not really. Jack and Judy are selling Ross and Monica's childhood home so they return to collect all of their keepsakes and memories. But, it's discovered that all of Monica's boxes are ruined. Phoebe takes a side job as a telemarketer and ends up on the phone with a man threatening suicide.

We would stay up all night for this episode re-watch! But it does come with some very curious general wondering-ments. Weren't cell phones pretty common-place by this point? Couldn't the fireman have disabled the alarm himself before bringing it back to Phoebe? Is there actually anybody that resorts to warm milk to help them sleep?

Ross has all the friends up on the rooftop to watch a passing comet. When the comet is a no-show, the friends all head their own ways and are kept up all night for different reasons. Ross and Joey get locked onto the rooftop and have to go down the firescape. Chandler has a bout of insomnia and keeps Monica awake with his ponderings and requests for help. Phoebe's fire alarm goes rogue, the beeping driving her to toss it down the trash chute. Rachel and Tag end up back at their office in search of a document that she insists she left on his desk that he has no recollection of receiving.

A re-watch that makes us desperately crave cheesecake? Sign us up. But let's talk about our very concerning list of general wondering-ments first! There is absolutely no way these cheesecakes are being delivered from another state without being packed on ice or in some kind of secure packaging. Do you think the woman over Phoebe's shoulder with the thigh high slit knew what she was doing? Would YOU eat the cheesecake?

A delicious cheesecake gets delivered to the Purple Palace by mistake and Chandler and Rachel eat the entire thing. As it turns out, one cheesecake simply isn't enough. Phoebe lectures Joey on the principle of never canceling plans with friends, but when David, the scientist guy, is in town for only one night she may change her beliefs entirely. Monica doesn't get an invite to a cousin's wedding so she sneaks her way in as Ross' plus one.

An iconic re-watch of an episode that goes down in Friends history! Where else do you get David Schwimmer, as Ross, dressed in an Armadillo costume? Our list of general wondering-ments are full of fun too. Who actually believes that Rachel Green had a pet tarantula as a child? Phoebe's grandmother's ability to erect a wall inside their apartment without the landlord's knowledge is either extremely impressive or it literally didn't happen. Didn't Richard himself teach Chandler how to do the money-transfer handshake?

Ross has Ben for the holidays this year and he hopes to take the opportunity to teach him about Hanukkah. But, when Ben is so disappointed he won't see Santa, Ross tries to track down a Santa costume at the last minute to no avail leaving him with only one option: the Holiday Armadillo! Phoebe and Rachel's apartment restoration is finished but Phoebe is worried that Rachel is having too much fun living with Joey to want to move back in with her so she tries to create an unbearable living situation at the Bachelor Pad. Chandler practices the art of being smooth and never quite achieves it.

Another week, another re-watch and there's plenty to love about this one! And our list of general wondering-ments might be just as entertaining. What kind of monster said having 150 extras in the park scenes was the way to go? How dumb is Rachel to think stamping something with the word "confidential" wouldn't deter Tag from opening it? On that note, props to Tag for not reading it AND for taking the fall. Do these people really just never lock their apartment doors...even overnight?

The holiday season is upon us and Monica decides that, in order to get to know the neighbors, she's going to put out homemade candy in a basket hanging on the door. When the tenants get a little too greedy for more candy, Chandler has to step in. Rachel fills out an inappropriate work evaluation for Tag as a joke, but, it somehow ends up on her boss' desk. Ross finds out that Phoebe never had a bike growing up so he buys her the perfect bike and offers to help her learn how to ride it.

If it's a Friends-giving episode it's ALWAYS worth the re-watch! Between Chandler's states game, Joey's "moo point" and Chandler's dog phobia, there's comedic gold to go all around. But let's talk about some of our general wondering-ments, shall we? Monica, the professional chef, really did no meal prep/cooking prior to Thanksgiving day? Tag seemed to get over his ex-girlfriend, whom he thought he would be with forever, rather quickly. Have we been watching Friends for too long or does Joey's "moo point" make complete sense? Naming all 50 states in under 6 minutes is easy and Erica & Aubrie can prove it.

It's Thanksgiving at the Purple Palace and the friends are spending it together. Monica and Chandler discover that Phoebe has been secretly keeping a dog in her room. Chandler's deepest, darkest secret, thus, must come to light: Chandler hates dogs. Chandler has all the friends play a game where you have to list all 50 states in under 6 minutes. Ross gets a little too confident and when he can't do it, he makes a bet that he can get all 50 before dinner or he won't eat. Tag joins the friends for dinner after breaking up with his girlfriend. Joey misreads the situation and lets it slip that Rachel likes him forcing her to confess everything.

Any episode that includes Janice is worth the re-watch. Our list of general wondering-ments, however, warrants some discussion. Again with restaurant patrons being allowed back into a working restaurant kitchen to talk to the chef...this doesn't actually happen! Do these makeout corners exist in large public libraries? How about a two minute tangent to talk about A Star is Born? You're welcome.

Ross discovers that his doctoral discertation is published and in the library on campus. However, when he discovers that students are using the paleontology section to get frisky he takes security matters into his own hands. Joey has what he planned on being a one-night stand but when Rachel and Phoebe meet Erin they are convinced Cupid delivered her there just for Joey. They finally convince him to give her a real chance and when he comes around to really liking her, it turns out, she doesn't like him as much. Monica runs into Janice and she invites herself to the wedding, so Monica and Chandler now have to figure out how to uninvite her!

A re-watch that goes down in Friends fandom history! That list of general wondering-ments, though. Should we be surprised that Joey is the big spoon and Ross is the little spoon? Shouldn't Rachel have been Monica's maid of honor to begin with? Does any woman really want their fiance tracking down a girlfriend from over fifteen years ago just so they can apologize to them?

Joey and Ross accidentally share the best nap of their lives together and are struggling to stop themselves from doing it again...on purpose. Monica tells Rachel and Phoebe that they have to decide who is going to be her maid of honor. Things turn competitive when Ross and Joey get involved in the decision process. Monica runs into one of Chandler's ex-girlfriends who appears to be holding a fifteen year old grudge, so, Monica asks him to apologize to her.

Chandler's epic failed smile attempt is always worth the re-watch. We do still have a list of general wondering-ments to get through, though. Is it really feasible to get the idea for a photo session, secure the appointment, have the session and receive a proof sheet all in one day? So, exactly how much authority does Rachel have to be giving away a dozen Ralph Lauren shirts in 24 hours? Is this the worst engagement photographer in the history of time?

Monica and Chandler are getting professional engagment pictures taken for the local newspaper back home except Chandler can't smile naturally when the camera comes out. Ross and Phoebe are both dating one half of an almost divorced couple and, before they know it, the divorced couple's problems become their problems. Rachel asks Joey to hang out with Tag and then Joey teaches him how to be Joey so Rachel makes him take it back.

It may be a re-watch with one of our least favorite guest appearances but the comedy is still gold! And our list of general wondering-ments keeps us plenty entertained. So did they completely change the plot of Days of Our Lives to write Joey back in as Drake instead of the original part he was going in for, Stryker? A big fashion corporation is doing walk-in interviews for a senior level assistant position? What is happening with Phoebe's pants that are six inches too short?

Rachel gets promoted and gets to have her own assistant. When interviewing applicants she's torn between the middle-aged woman who is more than qualified and the young boy with the pretty face. Chandler and Monica exchange secrets but when Ross finds out that one of those secrets was his own, well, the gloves are off and everybody's secrets are coming out. Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. is officially out in the world AND Days of Our Lives wants Joey back to play Drake's evil twin, Stryker. But, Joey gets too big for his britches when he takes offense at being asked to audition. Once he gets word that Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. is cancelled he has to return to the DOOL offices with his tail between his legs.

A re-watch with an iconic Friends moment and we are here for it! And our list of general wondering-ments is going strong, y'all. Does anybody say Nestle Tollhouse without hearing it in Phoebe's french accent? It turns out, in real life, sailing is exhausting and not fun in the slightest...according to Aubrie! Do steam rooms really have that much steam in them? Monica, the professional chef, really can't come up with her own kick-ass chocolate chip cookie recipe? Does Rachel not know how to properly hold a sandwich?

Monica is on a mission to be the mom who makes the best chocolate chip cookies. Wanting to get Phoebe's grandmother's recipe, she's forced to get creative when Phoebe discovers that the recipe was lost in the fire and only 1 cookie from a frozen batch remains. Rachel teaches Joey how to sail. Jack invites Chandler to play racquetball with him and Ross but Chandler suffers the embarassment of a lifetime when he sits on Jack's naked lap in an overly steamy steam room.

A re-watch with an erotic novel, weird massages and wedding budgets. This one runs the gamut of comedy. Our list of general wondering-ments though! Ross, the bachelor, with a delicately prepared salad in a wooden salad bowl with matching wooden spoons for dinner? We have questions. Is anybody on Monica's side of the wedding budget debate with Chandler? What exactly is a Vicker? Joey climbing into Rachel's bed with his shoes on....ewwww!

Joey stumbles upon an erotic novel that Rachel has hidden in her bedroom and he is never going to let her live this down. Phoebe moves in with Ross for a few days to give Monica and Chandler some privacy, but Ross didn't realize that also meant she would be massaging clients in his living room. Jack and Judy have spent all of the money in Monica's wedding fund so now she and Chandler must pay for it on their own. But, first, they have to agree on how much they are willing to spend.

We are back for a new season and the episode 1 re-watch does not disappoint! But even all the thunder stealing, whack playstation playing and wedding music auditions don't distract us from our list of general wondering-ments. Why, exactly, does Joey even have Chandler's underwear? The creators seriously couldn't make Rachel's hair match the end of last season just for this one episode? Is Monica being petty? Let's discuss...

The friends are ready to go out and celebrate Monica and Chandler's engagement. Rachel is feeling a bit jealous of her best friend's impending nuptials so she turns to Ross to make herself feel better and ends up stealing Monica's thunder in the process. Phoebe offers up her musical services for the wedding and showcases some songs she's really excited to perform. Chandler is insecure from not being able to perform in the bedroom and turns to Joey for advice. Joey is preparing for a commerical audition where he has to play a 19 year old.

Who doesn't love a good season recap episode with our good friends Staci & Jenni. As per usual, Jenni shows up minimally prepared, barely knowing which season we are covering and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We talk about all things season 6. The fashion, favorite guest appearances, most rewatchable episodes, which character won the season and so much more. And don't forget all of those hot topics that we must debate/discuss. Would you date a man who's been divorced 3 times? Where do you stand on the professor/student relationship rule for the college campus? Let's hash out how this whole Monica and Chandler journey to their engagement plot played out because we have some thoughts.

We'll be back on Monday, April 3rd with the launch of season 7. In the meantime, find us on Instagram! And share us with your friendsies. Thank you for listening!

We've reached the end of season 6 and probably the most dramatic, least funny finale re-watch to date. Monica and Chandler's engagement, of course, is a bright spot but we have some opinions about how this finale has played out. General wondering-ments, if you will. Is Chandler's crying in the proposal just bad acting? Could the return of Richard and the love triangle drama have been handled differently to make the finale better? Let's be honest, we've all been a little jealous of a friend getting married, right?

Richard has confessed his love and intentions to marry Monica. While Chandler is running around still trying to throw her off, he runs the risk of losing her completely. Rachel and Phoebe mull over their feelings about their best friends getting engaged so they begin talking about their back-up plans. Except, Phoebe already nailed down both Joey AND Ross.

We've reached the end and, while we may have mixed feelings at the Richard conflict, the re-watch is still worth it. Our list of general wondering-ments also warrants much discussion. Ross and Elizabeth don't seem to be hiding their relationship from any of her friends? Richard brings some ick factor to this episode but, frankly, Monica isn't that much better. Anybody else feel like Chandler's big proposal plans of dinner and a toast are kind of lame? Where is all the staff in Monica's restaurant kitchen?

Chandler has big plans for proposing to Monica but they get botched when Richard shows up at the same restaurant. Rachel brings Phoebe and Joey with her to a charity event hosted by her boss where Joey misunderstands the rules of a silent auction and accidentally buys a boat. Ross realizes that it might be time to end things with Elizabeth.

One more re-watch closer to the season 6 finale. We bid farewell to Bruce Willis and get some prime Phoebe comedy. Revolutionary war musket anyone? But how about those general wondering-ments, though? Couldn't the jewelry store just hold on to the ring in the back until Chandler came back? Did Rachel really stay up all night listening to Paul cry without ever changing out of her dress and heels? I don't think walking four feet away from your table and openly discussing and swapping ring boxes is very discreet.

Chandler asks for Phoebe's help in picking out the perfect engagement ring for Monica. When the ring he wants accidentally gets sold to someone else they're willing to do whatever it takes to get it back. In an effort to get Paul to open up more, Rachel gets him talking about his childhood and the floodgates fling wide open. In an effort to cover up what she and Chandler are up to, Phoebe tells Ross that Chandler is mad at him. When Ross can't figure out why he would be mad at him, assumptions are made and he and Joey decide to freeze Chandler out.

If you were only able to re-watch one of the three episodes that star Bruce Willis, this would be the one. David, Bruce and Jennifer all bring the comedy gold! But, our list of general wondering-ments is concerning. How did Ross and Elizabeth get to the cabin? What kind of monster doesn't put ice in a glass of soda? We need to have a serious talk about the museum wait list/Chandler's freakout/his change of heart in a matter of hours....was it all an elaborate plan?

Ross and Elizabeth try to sneak away for a romantic weekend at her family cabin but Ross is caught with his pants down when Paul and Rachel show up. Only a little bit of blackmail will get Ross out of this predicament. The girls visit a museum where Rachel and Phoebe convince Monica to put her and Chandler's name down on their two-year wedding waitlist. But the poop hits the fan when Chandler finds out about it. Joey wants to get his headshot back on the wall at the dry cleaners now that he's the star of his own TV show.

An episode with a mega-star appearance is always worth the re-watch and Bruce Willis never disappoints. But even Bruce's brooding charm doesn't distract us from our list of general wondering-ments. Is this the smallest restaurant table that has ever existed? Adult women should never call their dads "daddy". Ever. Wouldn't Elizabeth introducing Ross to her father be the opposite of "not looking for anything serious"?

Ross meets Elizabeth's father who has already decided that he doesn't like him. So, Ross tries everything to win him over. Phoebe is writing another book and is basing it off of Monica and Chandler's relationship...or should we say, Marsha and Chester's relationship. Joey offends the C.H.E.E.S.E. robot operator on the set of his new show and is at risk of getting fired.

You might as well call this episode what it is: a re-watch of a re-watch. When there's not much else besides flashbacks to watch, we really one have one general wondering-ment worth discussing: why does this episode have to exist? Thank God for Phoebe running lines with Joey in the intro and outro to keep us mildly entertained.

Joey is up for a lead role in a new tv series called Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. When Chandler fails to get Joey the message, he misses his audition. But, things work in his favor when the audition opportunity opens up again. Insert unrelated groups of flashbacks here, there and everywhere.

Another re-watch where Joey just nails it and wins the episode! The title of this episode may not make it the most memorable but Joey makes up for it. Also, the list of general wondering-ments makes it a worthwhile investment of your time. Does Rachel really need anyone's help finding a date? Did Chandler not have a fridge before Joey moved in? Is this Joey Tribbiani's best acting performance to date? We need to know who picked the name Eldad!

The fridge in the bachelor pad breaks so Joey will just go down the list of his friends until he finds somebody willing to foot half the bill. Elizabeth is headed down to Florida for spring break which has Ross just a wee bit jealous. Rachel needs a date for an upcoming work event so she asks her friends for help. Monica & Chandler and Phoebe both come up with their own guys but it becomes a full on war when they try to introduce Rachel to their guys at the same time.

A rare re-watch where Joey just wins the episode...hands down! We may not wonder about how Joey got to his Thursday-The-Third-Day logic but we have plenty of other things to wonder about, generally. How is a semester ending at the end of February/early March? Monica may make a great hostess but she sucks as an interior decorator! Does anyone question the fire department's lax protocol in allowing Phoebe and Rachel to just run back into the wreckage of their apartment? Let's discuss the nuances of the whole professors not being allowed to date students rule.

Ross begins dating one of his former students, Elizabeth, believing that doing so is simply frowned upon but his colleagues harshly bring it to his attention that it is, in fact, forbidden. Chandler's friend from college, who is a film director now, is in town so Joey asks him to get him an audition for her latest movie - but you can't just call somebody up after ten years and ask for a favor. Phoebe and Rachel's apartment catches fire, forcing them to move into Monica & Chandler's and Joey's apartments. They may not agree on who's to blame for the fire but they do agree on not wanting to live at Hotel Monica!

We are always up for a beloved episode re-watch and this one never disappoints! But even "ahhhhh, Salmon Skin Roll" and "DAMMIT Karl!!!" won't keep us from our list of general wondering-ments. Did they forget about the cake they had in the oven? Is it really that hard to come up with a homemade gift? We've got a few ideas of our own we could have thrown Chandler's way. Do you think David Schwimmer came up with the forehead double finger point for Unagi? We choose to think so. Pretty sure Janice's homemade mix tape for Chandler would have included some sort of label on it.

Phoebe and Rachel take a self-defense class but Ross thinks they're a little too confident after just one class so he aims to teach them a lesson in the concept of Unagi. Monica and Chandler are having a belated Valentine's Day celebration where they both agreed to make the presents themselves, except, they both forgot! Joey is in need of some extra cash so he looks into participating in some medical research projects. When the only one available is an identical twin study, he hires another actor, Karl, to stand-in as his twin.

This Part 2 re-watch is when all the magic happens! Despite it being completely outside of reality, there's still plenty to love AND generally wonder about this episode. Who actually thinks it's sensual to eat couscous with your hands? We feel the need to acknowledge that Roger seemed like a good guy who really liked Monica...poor Roger! What's with the enormous abandoned dinner plate sitting on Ross and Carol's coffee table? Rachel's hair jewels for the win!

The friends are still imagining their lives as they could have been. Rachel meets Joey at his apartment and tries to block out her guilt with alcohol. Ross and Carol go through with their threesome but it didn't really feel like Ross was invited to the party. Phoebe goes back to work and discovers that she was fired. In all the stress and yelling she gives herself another heart attack. Monica tries to seduce Roger because she's ready to give up her flower. When he gets called in to work again, Chandler comes over and *inserts himself. IYKYK.

A two-part episode re-watch that is best watched as a one hour special because part 1 is boring and part 2 is infinitely better. Yep, that's what this one is. At least we have our general wondering-ments to keep us nice and warm. Can we all just sit back and acknowledge the joy and delight that is Fat Monica? Do you think anybody could have told the extra standing over Rachel's shoulder to stand about three feet to the left, out of the shot? Kevin Bright literally says that people like seeing Joey and Rachel together and I think we are officially scarred for life. Lies, Kevin. They're all lies!!!!!

The friends begin to imagine how their lives might have turned out if different choices had been made in the past. What if Rachel had married Barry and become a rich housewife? What if Ross was still married to Carol and doing his karate? What if Monica was still fat? What if Chandler had quit his job and pursued writing comedy? What if Joey had never gotten fired from Days of Our Lives? What if Phoebe had taken that job at Merrill Lynch?

A part 2 re-watch that isn't actually a part 2 but it kind of is. We know it's confusing! We bid Reese Witherspoon adieu in this episode and we're left with plenty of general wondering-ments. Hasn't it already been established that Phoebe didn't grow up seeing the sad endings to movies? We've already seen Chandler cry at some point in the past, right? How was Ursula cashing paychecks made out to Phoebe?

When the friends find out that Chandler doesn't cry they declare him to be dead inside. So, he, along with Monica, go on the hunt for something that can break him. Rachel can't handle Ross dating her sister so she asks him to call it off. When he agrees, Jill finds out and seeks her own revenge. When Phoebe gets mistaken for a porn star by the same name the friends figure out that Ursula is the one doing the porn and using Phoebe's name.

An episode with an A-list celebrity guest star is always worth the re-watch! We may not love Reese Witherspoon's portrayal of Jill but we still love Reese, nonetheless. Our list of general wondering-ments is worth discussing as well. Does anybody really want to have sex that badly when they're sick? We're pretty sure that Jill couldn't legally be using just credit card numbers from memory to charge things around town. Is there an argument that Ross, of all the guys, would probably know what a pashmina is?

Rachel's little sister, Jill, comes to visit after their dad cuts her off. In Rachel's attempt to help Jill stand on her own two feet, Jill gets a bit too close to Ross and sparks start to fly. Monica refuses to accept that she is sick and goes to extreme measures to prove that she is in the "prime of lime". Joey is giving away all kinds of free coffee shop goodies to all of his pretty female customers and when Gunther tries to stop him, suddenly, it's everyone's birthday!

Welp, even the forgettable episodes warrant a re-watch and that's just what this episode is. We forget the storylines before the podcast is even finished. But, at least our general wondering-ments give us plenty to ponder. So is Rachel uptight or is she a pushover? Who's joke origin story do you believe more? We think the extra in the coffee house who got to chat it up with Lisa Kudrow had the best gig in this episode. Are we the only ones who didn't know that Playboy printed jokes?

Ross submitted a joke to Playboy and it got printed. But Chandler claims the joke was his and neither guy is willing to give an inch. Money is tight since Janine moved out so Joey gets a job at the coffee house to make ends meet. In a seemingly innocent discussion, Phoebe says she would date Rachel if she had to choose between her and Monica because Monica is too high-maintenance. Naturally, Monica must prove just how low-maintenance she is.

Is there a better way to start your new year than with a Friends re-watch? We don't think there is. It may not be the best episode but you can't forget Phoebe's hatred of Pottery Barn. Our list of general wondering-ments keeps us more than entertained, though. "WAIT!!!" might be Elle McPherson's shining moment as an actress. Is anybody else concerned that Ross chose floral paisley sheets? As per usual, we have questions about how Rachel is affording this Pottery Barn apartment makeover. Also, is Phoebe at all offended that Rachel moved in and just bought all new stuff?

This just in...Phoebe hates Pottery Barn. So, when Rachel buys a bunch of new stuff she tells Phoebe they are one-of-a-kind antiques. But the jig is up when Ross winds up with the same apothecary table in his living room. Joey and Janine go on a double date with Monica and Chandler but Joey gets stuck between a rock and a hard place when he finds out that Janine really doesn't like his friends.

If ever there was a re-watch where we wished that podcasting was a visual platform, this would be the one! Monica and Ross in all of their nerdy, competitive sibling glory bring enough laughs to make up for the other two non-exciting storylines. Our list of general wondering-ments is entertaining too. It would have been nice if Janine could have had a quick lesson in rhythm/dancing before they called 'action' considering she's supposed to be a professional dancer. Why are they throwing empty gift boxes around when there is supposed to be something in them? Just put something in them!! Why is "Tall Guy" dressed like a high school science teacher?

Janine is hired to be a dancer on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve and invites Joey to join her. Monica and Ross manage to weasel an invitation too when their fangirling is just too much. Joey plans to use the studio taping as the time and place to make his move on Janine. Monica and Ross have one singular mission: get on camera. When nothing else seems to be working, they pull out "The Routine" from middle school. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Rachel coax Chandler into helping them hunt down their Christmas gifts from Monica.

Is there a better re-watch than one that includes one of the best Thanksgiving episodes that Friends has to offer plus director's commentary to boot? We don't think so. And our list of general wondering-ments makes for a fun ride as well. Did nobody notice that Rachel was sauteeing beef during her dessert prep? Does anyone just openly consume cans of condensed milk? That guest room doesn't house a bed or any suitable surface for napping so we aren't sure what Phoebe was thinking?

It's Thanksgiving!!! Jack and Judy are coming for dinner but the news that they hate Chandler and, therefore, Monica has never told them that they're dating, puts a damper on the whole day. When it's discovered that the genesis of their dislike for Chandler is based on a lie that Ross' came up with to cover the fact that he had been smoking pot in his bedroom, Ross is forced to come clean. But not without airing all of Monica's dirty laundry first. Rachel is in charge of the dessert but messes up the recipe when the pages get stuck together and she makes half an English trifle and half a shepherd's pie. Phoebe had a dream about Jack Geller but then Jacques Cousteau steals the show. Ross and Joey get invited to join Janine and her dancer friends for a day of Thanksgiving drinking but when the festivities at Monica's aren't moving fast enough they try to rush things along.

A beloved re-watch, not only for Ross' teeth whitening disaster, but also for the famous watering can. However, even with Joey nailing every comedic moment of this episode, our list of general wondering-ments is concerning. I think we should all question Janine's taste in home decor. Speaking of home decor, we are also concerned about Hillary's taste. Shouldn't Rachel fear losing her job over spreading a false rumor that she was in a secret sexual relationship with the CEO? Joey grew up with 7 sisters and he really doesn't know what a curling iron looks like?

Ross has a date coming up so he decides to whiten his teeth. Only, when he leaves the gel on longer than recommended, there's no turning back. Janine's feminine design aesthetic is infiltrating the whole bachelor pad and it's turning Joey into a woman. Phoebe makes out with a guy in the copy room at the Ralph Lauren offices who she thinks is Ralph Lauren himself. Rachel uses this as the creme de la creme of office gossip to bond with her boss. But, it turns out, Phoebe's makeout buddy was Kenny the Copy Guy, not Ralph.

Nobody could ever forget a re-watch where Phoebe runs like a starfish! But all the running leaves us with an abundance of general wondering-ments. So, neither Rachel or Phoebe have ever been described or presented as runners on Friends, yet they ran twice in one day on this episode? How exactly did the big white dog get out on the balcony? Is anybody surprised that Joey wants to ask his hot roommate to go out with him? Also, is it really that big of a deal? Chandler, have you met Monica?

Rachel invites Phoebe out for a run in the park but gets embarrassed when she runs like a flailing star fish. Chandler is all moved into Monica's apartment and decides to clean it as a surprise for her. However, things go south when he forgets exactly where everything is supposed to go. Joey has a new roommate, Janine, who's really hot but his friends help him realize that he shouldn't date her. However, as it turns out, turning off the Joey charm is not as easy as it sounds. Also, it doesn't work on Janine to begin with.

A great re-watch of a pivotal episode of the series. It may not be the most memorable episode but it's worth the re-watch, nonetheless. Our list of general wondering-ments are worth your time and consideration as well. Why did Rachel unpack to begin with? Is the story of Denise coming back on December 26th vs. just moving out entirely solely so they could keep the Santa Claus joke? When has Ross playing basketball ever been discussed, much less shown, on the series? Never. The answer is never!

It's Chandler's last night in the bachelor pad and Rachel's last night in the purple palace. The girls have to change their plans so that they can help Rachel finish packing which leads to Monica and Rachel at each other's throats over the other's many faults. Chandler is worried about Joey's financial situation once he moves out so he's trying to find a way to give him money without Joey realizing he's doing it. When his foosball plan goes south, he makes up his own game entirely: Cups!

An episode involving a bottom of the barrel Porsche - while not a great re-watch, it's still worth it. If anything, our list of general wondering-ments is sufficiently entertaining. Is a generic model Porsche really that big of an attraction? And Joey erecting an elaborate coupe shaped structure out of cardboard boxes on the streets of New York wasn't a red flag to anyone? We think the creators of the show forgot to do the math on how old the triplets should be by this point.

Joey finds a set of keys to a Porsche. His good intentions of returning them to the owner get put on the backburner when people start to think the car is his. Ross' secret marriage to Rachel is finally out in the open so she's taking matters into her own hands. In pursuit of their annulment, they come to blows in front of the judge and are forced to file for divorce instead. Monica and Chandler offer to help Phoebe babysit the triplets but Phoebe gets stuck flying solo when Chandler swallows a piece of a toy action figure and Monica has to take him to the emergency room.

Joey developing a hernia and refusing treatment is definitely worth the re-watch. An episode full of fake accents and abdominal pain comes with it's fair share of general wondering-ments, however. Was Joey's SAG health insurance a zero-deductible plan? We're pretty sure Ross' divorce attorney just broke the code of ethics regarding attorney-client confidentiality. Has Ross really been hiding from Rachel the fact that they're still married for nearly three months? Ick!

Joey's health insurance expires due to not having enough work just in time for him to develop a painful hernia. Ross has an opportunity to guest lecture at NYU but finds himself in a predicamet when his nerves cause him to start speaking in a thick british accent to the class. Phoebe receives the worst psychic reading you can get: she's going to die this week! In the middle of unpacking her things in Ross' apartment, Rachel answers a phone call from his divorce attorney and finds out that they're still married.

Perhaps the most memorable non-character in all of Friends, Denise, makes this re-watch more than worth it! Between Denise and "MERGE!" the laughs abound. But, not even our laughter can let us forget about our general wondering-ments. Who puts a chair smack dab in the middle of the living room? Definitely NOT Monica Geller. Does any Friends fan really hear the name Denise or the word "merge" and not hear it in the context of the show? Why, Rachel? Why did you ever think it was a good idea to move in with Ross to begin with?

Ross is still in denial over his feelings for Rachel. Naturally, the only solution is to ask her to move in with him when she's desperate to find a place to live but he wavers back and forth over his offer as reality starts to set in. Monica and Chandler fight over what to do with the spare bedroom and how to "MERGE" their lives into one shared apartment. Joey, meanwhile, is on the hunt for a new roommate who he declares needs to be a woman: non-smoker, non-ugly. Phoebe has a roommate named Denise that nobody knew about.

Even the worst titled episode of the series warrants a re-watch. If you're wondering if this is the one where Ross hugs Rachel, you nailed it! However, the confusion around this episode's title is the least of our general wondering-ments. Monica is rushing around all day looking for Rachel. News Flash: She's at work, Mon! Miscommunication or not, who wants to live with a roommate and her serious boyfriend? Correction Mr. Attorney, this is actually Ross' second marriage in ONE year.

Ross is still hiding the fact that he and Rachel are still married and Phoebe is set on the fact that it's because he must still be in love with her. When Ross has had enough of Phoebe's pestering, he heads to his attorney's office to get the annulment. Only, it's not that easy. Monica and Chandler break the news to Joey and Rachel that they're going to be living together. Joey becomes emotional and Rachel just thinks it's a Three's Company situation.

Another season and we are back with another rewatch. Season 6 coming in hot, people! But what is a rewatch of Friends without some very serious general wondering-ments that must be discussed? Oh, the joys of a Las Vegas buffet! A couple scoops of scrambled eggs is just blasphemous. How dumb is Rachel to think that her marriage could be annulled without having to sign a document? Has anyone ever arrived home after 37 hours of driving and thought "hey, let's go hang out at the coffee shop"?

Ross and Rachel wake up to discover that, in their drunken stupor, they got hitched. They agree to pursue an annulment but Ross has other plans. Monica and Chandler didn't end up getting married and, despite each of them wanting to wait, fate keeps sending them clear cut signs telling them otherwise. Phoebe and Joey embark on a "friennasaince" road trip across the country and pick up a hitchhiker along the way.

The final re-watch of season 5 is upon us and it's 100% worth it! Drunk Ross and Rachel may be the purest form of gold in this episode but our list of general wondering-ments gives us plenty more to discuss. Were Ross and Rachel sharing a single bed hotel room? It's not physically possible for that dice to have ended up in that location and position but, whatever, we are still here for it! Chandler really has zero hesitation or reservations about getting married? Maybe it's just whatever's in the air in Vegas that has boosted his confidence.

Ross and Rachel have finally made it to Vegas but Ross' final prank threatens to suck all the fun out of their time there. Have no fear, however, the room comes with a pretty stout mini bar to help them pass the time and make at least one very poor life decision. Monica and Chandler make up and decide to start testing fate at the craps table. One final hard eight and they plan to get married tonight! All of Phoebe's slot machine jackpots are getting hijacked by a lurker. Joey is still working to convince his identical hand twin to buy into his million dollar idea.

This re-watch marks the beginning of the end...of season 5, that is! The crew is all headed to Vegas which means it's gonna get really good! Our list of general wondering-ments leaves us with plenty of wondering, however. Rachel is dancing in the nude on top of the coffee table in front of an enormous window in NYC. Yet, she's shocked that somebody saw her? Who's Team Chandler and who's Team Monica in their fight? This group of friends can't even leave the orange juice behind when it comes to their cocktails. Is Chandler really wearing blue suede shoes?

The friends are all headed to Vegas to surprise Joey. Monica surprises Chandler with tickets to Vegas to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. But their celebration gets tainted when Chandler finds out that Monica had lunch with Richard without telling him. Ross and Rachel are flying out together a day later than everyone else. Enjoying a night alone in her apartment, Rachel dances naked on the coffee table. Ross sees this and misinterprets it as a sexual invitation and is properly mortified. They spend the rest of their travels trying to embarrass the other. Joey finds his identical hand twin and is convinced he will want for nothing for the rest of his life.

A re-watch with Shutter Speed, eye infections and dream-state grievances. What's not to love? We also love our list of general wondering-ments. Lots of questions! We actually think the plotline for Shutter Speed sounds really good and somebody should make that movie. Who's in? Although, they need to work out the they-met-on-the-subway-but-the-movie-is-set-in-the-desert contradiction real quick. No drops ever make it into Rachel's eye for the entire episode...just to be clear. Did Chandler literally walk all the way back to Central Perk without appearing tired or disheveled in any way? WTF with the pants, Monica?

Joey's scored a starring role in a movie that's filming in the desert outside of Vegas. Excited for a guys road trip, Chandler joins him but Joey kicks him out of the car when he lets it slip that he doesn't think this is going to be Joey's big break. Rachel has an eye infection but refuses to do anything to treat it. Phoebe is mad at Ross for something but she can't remember what it is. It turns out that it may have all just been a dream.

Who knew that a re-watch about tossing a ball could be so worthwhile? Only Friends could make this mundane storyline work. Our list of general wondering-ments keeps us pretty entertained as well. Are we sure this is Gary's desk? Are hypo-allergenic pets an actual thing? Why did Rachel stay up all night to watch her friends throw this ball around? We're pretty sure a cop shooting live ammunition out of his apartment window is frowned upon.

Joey and Ross are tossing a ball back and forth when they realize how long they've been at it. So, they begin their quest to see how long they can go without dropping it. Naturally, Monica has to join in. Rachel spends $1,000 on a Sphynx cat but it's not everything she thought it would be, so, she's desperately trying to get rid of it. Gary asks Phoebe to move in with him. At first, Phoebe thinks it may be too fast but he wins her over and the plans begin. A re-watch with a bunch of silly storylines but still hilarious? We are here for it. Well, Erica more than Aubrie but whatever! Our list of general wondering-ments is concerning, though. How many actual hours did Joey let this hot meatball sub go uneaten? Are we sure it's still any good? We're pretty sure the most logical explanation for Joey lunging over Ross is that he was trying to move the opposite direction from where the bullet was coming. What's $5 or $10 between siblings?

The guys accompany Gary on a ride-along where Chandler is terrified, Joey can't eat his beloved meatball sub and Ross thinks he's Gary's partner. But things get dicey when a car backfires and everyone mistakes it for gunfire. Joey, instinctively, throws his body onto Ross in the chaos while Chandler is left fully exposed. However, things aren't quite as they seem. The girls hear a message on Ross' answering machine from Emily the night before her wedding. When the message accidentally gets deleted, Monica is ready to never tell Ross and move on but Rachel thinks she has to tell him about it so he can make his own decision about what to do.

Another hilarious re-watch at poor Ross' expense but isn't that what season 5 just seems to be about? Our list of general wondering-ments offers plenty of entertainment as well. What restaurant on God's green earth accepts reservations at 11:30pm? Who knew in 1999 that Law & Order would still be on the air 20+ years later? It's been awhile but let's all turn our attention to a Rachel "nip alert"!

Ross is crushing on the pizza delivery girl but his flirting skills are lacking, to say the least. All the friends are gathered to watch Joey's appearance on Law & Order. Even Joey's non-english-speaking grandmother, Noni, is there. But he has to think fast when he gets cut from the show and can't let his Noni find out. Monica lent a pair of earrings that Chandler gave her to Phoebe who, in turn, lent them to Rachel who, in turn, lost one of them. Which is exactly why Monica does NOT let Rachel borrow her stuff.

Season 5 has been killing it thus far which is why we are going to try and overlook the "meh-ness" of this episode. Not a super memorable episode but nobody can ignore the general wondering-ments. Will we ever have an understanding of the friends' orange juice consumption habits? Reggae music for a Tuscan dinner party? Explain, please. Let the record show that it is April in the Friends universe. We feel like it's going to matter in the episodes to come.

Rachel is missing out on all the business chat with her boss and colleagues because she doesn't take smoke breaks. So, for the sake of her career, she takes up smoking. The friends decide to throw Rachel a surprise birthday party and Monica steels the reins from Phoebe in all the planning. Phoebe is left in charge of cups and ice. Monica will rue the day! If Rachel is at the forefront of the comedy, then the episode is an absolute must for a re-watch! But even with the hysterical train-wreck job interviews, we still have a solid list of general wondering-ments. We aren't sure Rachel even gets called back for a 2nd interview in real life, though. Right? And, for sure, she would never actually get this job. Right? How long has David Schwimmer been holding back on his miming skills? We'll fall for the shark attack bit every time.

Rachel is up for an exciting new job opportunity at Ralph Lauren but she botches the interview when she accidentally kisses her prospective boss. The subsequent follow-up interviews just make it worse. Monica is convinced that she and Chandler are competing with Phoebe and Gary for the title of "hottest couple". Joey spots a hot girl through the window in Ross' building. But, counting wins again. Poor Joey.

We should just call this the "Pivot" episode. That one is always worth the re-watch! Ross may be on fire this episode but don't discount Phoebe's cop impersonations. Our general wondering-ments are pretty serious, too. Joey's blue puffy vest is wrong on so many levels! What exactly was the plan with the tape measure, rope and hammer? We aren't sure Rachel would actually help another human move a couch. It's very out of character for her. Is it not?

Phoebe finds a police badge and goes around impersonating a cop. Drunk on the power, she plans to return the badge but ends up face to face with the officer who lost said badge. And he's smitten to say the least! Joey has a dream that Monica is his girlfriend so, naturally, this must mean that he's in love with her. Ross has purchased a new couch and recruits Rachel and Chandler to help him get it up the stairs. Despite all the pivots, it just won't fit.

Here it is, the episode with all the storylines you forgot happened but still pleastantly worth the re-watch! The girl who hits Joey may be the least important story of this episode, but who doesn't love a good Soleil Moon Frye tangent? And that tangent doesn't even hold a candle to our list of general wondering-ments. Why did Ross' apartment number have to change? Just why? What happened to the ring that Chandler proposed with? Wow! Looks like Ross has a lot of underwear! Why must all of these things happen on the same night?

Joey is dating a new girl named Katie who loves to playfully punch him. Even though she's so cute you could just fit her right in your little pocket, the punches actually really hurt. Ross' new neighbors turn on him when he refuses to donate to the building handyman's retirement gift. It's about his principles, guys. Now that everybody knows about Monica and Chandler, all the marriage and babies jokes are out in full force. But, it proves to be too much for Chandler to take before he loses his ever-loving mind!

The highest rated episode of the entire series is worth the re-watch every single time! This episode is so beloved it didn't even leave us with all that many general wondering-ments but we had plenty of things to discuss, nonetheless. Could any two people other than Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow have pulled this off? We don't think so. Is there a more benchmark episode in the series than this one? We don't think so. Phoebe's sexy dance for Chandler is everything. Absolutely. Everything.

Phoebe catches sight of Monica and Chandler getting it on, adding her to the ever growing list of those "in the know". Joey's desperate to just get it all out in the open but Phoebe and Rachel decide to play a little game with Monica and Chandler to force them to come clean. But Monica and Chandler are on to them which leads to a complex game of who knows that the others know that they know. Joey's just confused. It's Friends so, I mean, technically it's still worth the re-watch even if the episode is just 'meh'. The list of general wondering-ments for this episode has us reeling. Why on earth is this episode not named The One With Phoebe's Dad? He's kind of a big deal! Speaking of Frank Sr., seriously, just zero mention of Frank Jr.? The writers missed a major opportunity here. We can all see that Joey's purse is made of vinyl, therefore, anything spilled on it can just be wiped right off.

Joey is preparing for an audition and Rachel offers to style him. In doing so, she convinces him that this new unisex shoulder bag will get him the part. Too bad it looks just like a woman's purse. Monica gives the best worst massages and Chandler is too afraid to tell her, lest their relationship be finished. Phoebe's grandmother passes away and her father shows up to the funeral.

Is there any episode with a Janice appearance that isn't worth the re-watch? We think not. Janice's part may be small in this episode but our list of general wondering-ments makes up for it! Monica and Chandler are sitting nice and cozy together on that couch in front of all the friends who supposedly know nothing about their relationship. Staging oversight, perhaps? Everyone has tennis rackets, inexplicably. Also, tennis = racquetball and, here to for, racquetball is only in New York, right? Where exactly was the outlet that that lamp was plugged in to?

Monica and Chandler get a true date night out at Chandler's office party. It's here where Monica gets a front row seat to "work Chandler" which includes his very obnoxious and annoying work laugh. Rachel wants all the gossip on Monica and Chandler but Joey is no help so she pulls out all the stops trying to get Monica to confess. Ross finds out that Emily is engaged. His mental and emotional state in a complete free fall, he ends up hooking up with Janice. Who would have thought that Janice would think Ross is too whiney?

The infamous leather pants are always worth the re-watch. Every single time. Even with the comedy gold raining from every which direction, this episode still leaves us with plenty of general wondering-ments. Joey came up with and implemented the NYE kiss plan in record time and we don't feel like he got enough credit for it. Are we just supposed to pretend that Rachel did NOT scream before she hung up the phone? Leather pants are not a cowboy thing. Full stop. Unless we're wrong, then, you can send us pictures.

The gang celebrates the new year by making all of their own resolutions. Ross plans to do one new thing every single day. Day 2: leather pants. Chandler seeks to prove that he is capable of not making fun of his friends. It's harder than it sounds. Rachel agrees to gossip less but when you find out Monica and Chandler's big secret you simply have to tell somebody! Joey wants to learn guitar and Phoebe volunteers to teach him. Although, her teaching method is questionable. Phoebe resolves to pilot a commercial jet. Monica wants to take more pictures of everyone.

Friends is always worth the re-watch even when the episode is somewhat forgettable. Despite the forgotten and icky storylines, our list of general wondering-ments still leaves us looking for answers. The inappropriate sister is on another level and it's not okay. If this you with your adult brother/sister, you might need to seek help. Did Monica just wear her pajamas to Central Perk? Ross sets the bar really low for Joey and we are offended.

Monica meddles, as per usual, and lands Rachel a date with Danny. Things seems to be going well until Rachel meets Danny's sister with whom he has an unusually creepy bond. Ross is bored so he offers to help Joey with his career by making a schedule for him to begin writing his own movie. Phoebe is a bell-ringer collecting donations outside of Macy's and takes the job, perhaps, a bit too seriously.

The start of Ross' mental breakdown is always worth the re-watch! The laughs and general wondering-ments definitely abound. But, really? Who takes another person's sandwich out of the fridge at work? Have Monica and Chandler just forgotten that they have roommates? Does anybody do physical comedy better than David Schwimmer? Feminist robots anyone?

Ross' coveted Thanksgiving leftover sandwich gets stolen from the lunchroom fridge at work and thus begins his professional demise. Monica and Chandler are getting really careless with covering their tracks which leaves Joey to take the fall time and time again to cover for them. Rachel joins Phoebe in a literature class but doesn't want to do any of the work.

Another season means another Thanksgiving episode re-watch and we just love them all! The epic fashion flashbacks, Monica being sexy with the carrots and chef's knife and the dance of the turkey heads...it's all great! What's also great is our list of general wondering-ments. Does anybody else see a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt when you look at young Chandler? Can the Miami Vice suits come back in style, please? A human putting a raw turkey on their head. Gross? Obviously. Physically impossible? Unequivocally.

It's Thanksgiving and the friends are reminiscing over all of their worst Thanksgiving memories. Not too long ago Joey got a turkey stuck on his head. And, back in the 80's, Ross brings his college roommate, Chandler, home for Thanksgiving to meet his family. A smitten Monica overhears Chandler call her fat. She turns that offense into progress and when he returns the following year to see a skinny Monica he has no idea what's in store for him. In an effort to get the ultimate revenge, Monica has a mishap with a knife and ends up severing Chandler's toe. And last, but certainly not least, Phoebe relives memories from her past lives as a war nurse on the front battle lines of the Civil War and World War I.

7 episodes into season 5 and the re-watches are still on fire! Between Rachel's iconic leopard print coat and Ross' outgoing message, we aren't sure what we love the most. One thing is certain, though: our general wondering-ments are still going strong. Who wore the coat first: Rachel or Shania? What was the actual plan in inviting Ross to move into the bachelor pad? Are we supposed to pretend that ISN'T the Purple Palace behind Monica's shoulder at Danny's party?

Now that things with Emily have officially ended, Ross is homeless. The guys invite him to move into the Bachelor Pad while he gets back on his feet. Rachel, unsure of where things stand between her and Danny, has convinced herself that he's not asking her out because he's waiting for her to ask him out. But, two can play this very confusing game. Phoebe is dating a Health Inspector named Larry. His ability to shut down a restaurant with a flash of his badge was exciting at first but, now, where are they going to eat?

Season 5 is killing it with episode after episode and this re-watch was no exception. There's also no exceptions when it comes to our list of general wondering-ments. Raise your hand if you think Danny looks guilty as sin wielding that axe! Let's all spend some time grieving what is probably one of the top 5 worst fashion fails on the show: Chandler's sweater vest. Is this an accurate representation of NYC apartment storage areas? Everyone's personal storage items just thrown together in one big heap in the basement?

Rachel and Monica run into a creepy guy in the storage basement and, in a panic, release a bug bomb on him. It turns out, he's new to the building and actually cleans up quite nice. Emily has some very specific and extreme demands for Ross as she prepares to move to New York. The friends try, and fail, to keep their thoughts about Emily to themselves. Phoebe receives her first family heirloom: a mink fur coat. The mirror tells her she loves it but her conscience says otherwise.

The episode title may be lacking but the re-watch is on point! So much to love about this episode even if nobody knows who Kip is. Our list of general wondering-ments is going strong too. So, are Rachel and her mother pen pals? Why is she writing her daughter a letter? With such devastating news to boot? Why couldn't this episode be titled literally anything else? Nobody knows who Kip is.

In light of Ross' bombshell news that he can't see her anymore, Rachel fears being pushed out of the friend group and becoming the next Kip. Monica and Chandler hatch up a plan to get a full weekend together at a hotel by claiming their own separate business trips. The trip is a bust because they end up arguing the whole time leaving Chandler convinced that it's over between them. Monica welcomes him to an adult relationship and all seems to be well in paradise. But, when they fail to cover their bases, Joey catches on to their little tryst. So, Monica and Chandler swear him to secrecy.

Any episode where Joey swoops in with a wisdomous gem you've never considered is a worthy re-watch! There may be no such thing as a self-less good deed, but our list of general wondering-ments is very real! The timeline gets really dicey, folks. That clock on Emily's nightstand throws a kink in the whole thing. Does anybody know what time it's supposed to be? How can one be Team Rachel and still recognize that Emily's request is completely justified?

Joey gets a gig answering phones for a PBS telethon. This brings back some bad memories for Phoebe which leads to she and Joey arguing over whether or not there is such a thing as a selfless good deed. Phoebe's on a mission! Rachel catches Monica in a very compromising position so Monica is forced to admit that she's secretly seeing someone. Chandler gets a big head about the whole thing when he gets wind that Monica's secret boyfriend is the best sex she's ever had. Emily finally agrees to come to New York to work things out with Ross, but only if Ross agrees to never see Rachel again.

Did you really expect the 100th episode to NOT be worth the rewatch? Of course not! It's glorious! But our growing list of general wondering-ments is still truckin' along. Phoebe's speech is great and all but is it really safe leaving her alone with 3 newborn babies balanced awkwardly on her lap? It's a shame that network television is unable to accurately portray a woman in active natural labor because these 5 second contractions and singular pushes aren't really painting a realistic picture. How do YOU say kidney stones? Is there any other way to say it?

Phoebe's having the babies and really wants to ask about keeping one of them. Rachel sets she and Monica up on a double date with some cute male nurses. This forces Monica and Chandler to confront their own secret relationship. Are they dating? Is it casual? Joey is having sympathy pains but it turns out to be kidney stones.

Season 5 is still going strong with this episode 2 rewatch. So much to love. So much to laugh at. So much to generally wonder about too. It has to be understood that nobody in their right mind would actually buy the whole "european goodbye kiss" thing that Chandler's putting down, right? The writers just really love digging that hole deeper and deeper as we are just supposed to think that Phoebe magically made it from implantation to 3rd trimester all within the whirlwind 6 weeks of Ross and Emily's relationship. Also, Rachel's yellow dress may be iconic but it's way too much for a first date.

Chandler and Monica get caught kissing. In an effort to cover their tracks, Chandler just starts kissing everyone! Rachel returns from Greece desperate to turn things around for herself. She puts Monica in charge of all of her decisions but quickly fires her when she tries to stop her from telling Ross that she still loves him. Phoebe feels really left out of all the shared London memories so the friends hatch a plan to make it up to her with a little trip all their own.

A new season of re-watches is officially underway and season 5 is coming in hot!!! We are here for all the things but the growing list of general wondering-ments cannot be ignored. Jack does have a point about serving steaks with no place to sit. Did anybody actually see My Giant? Was it any good? So, what was Ross actually thinking inviting Rachel to come on his honeymoon with him? And who does Rachel think she is even showing up at the reception?

Ross is dealing with the fallout from saying Rachel's name at the wedding altar. Meanwhile, Rachel is trying to figure out what this all means for her and ross. Ross proceeds to make things worse by inviting Rachel to go on his honeymoon with him since Emily appeared to be a no-show. But, oops, Emily witnessed the whole thing. Monica and Chandler are desperate to have another night together before they go back to their normal lives in New York but they keep getting interrupted.

  • Should Emily stop the wedding?

  • How problematic is Phoebe's pregnancy timeline?

  • Is Rachel a bad person?

  • Team Ross or Team Emily on postponing the wedding?

What would a season recap be if it weren't for Jenni's lack of preparation and general failure to operate her phone while recording a podcast? Be sure to stick around through our hilarious round of Trivia Trip-Up between the elder and the younger sisters.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, July 25th, for the beginning of season 5!

Season finale re-watches are always the best! Who doesn't remember this epic cliffhanger at Ross' wedding in London? But, amongst all that there is to love about this episode, there are still plenty of things that we just generally have wondering-ments about. Is anybody else seriously concerned about Rachel's financial situation? Is the way Ross hugs Rachel at the end a little inappropriate? We must know: where. are. the. feathers. coming. from? And, Phoebe puts a baked potato on her sandwich. Yes and YES!!

The nuptials are quickly approaching and it's just one thing after another it seems. Ross is playing mediator between his parents and Emily's parents as they argue over the wedding expenses. A drunken guest mistakes Monica as Ross' mom. Fortunately for all of us, Chandler is there to comfort her and they end up sleeping together. Rachel is trying to get to London to tell Ross that she loves him and Phoebe is doing all that she can to warn someone, anyone, that she's coming. When Rachel finally gets there she chickens out and says nothing. But, what's done is done because Ross says Rachel's name in his vows to Emily. Ruh-roh!

This re-watch has been a long-time coming and things are about to get rreeeeaaaaallllll good! Plus, we've got some director's commentary gold so there is plenty to love about this episode but also plenty to generally wonder about. Team Ross or team Emily on the wedding postponement issue? What is with all of the lip kissing between friends? That picture of Ross seemed oddly accessible.

Ross' wedding is only a few days away so the gang is headed to London. Ross and Emily navigate some wedding planning hiccups that include the wedding venue being torn down early. Emily wants to postpone but Ross fights to move forward. Joey and Chandler are doing the tourist thing seeing all the sights. Chandler wants to blend in but is embarrassed by Joey's overall lack of concern for looking like a tourist. Rachel and Phoebe have stayed back in New York. Phoebe forces Rachel to confront the fact that she's still in love with Ross. Her attempts to help her get over Ross are futile as Rachel decides to go to London to tell him how she feels.

We made it to 100 episodes....of the podcast that is!! And it ain't a bad episode re-watch to commemorate such a milestone. Not the best, but far from the worst. But let's talk about some very serious general wondering-ments! What groom hands over the family heirloom wedding ring to the best man weeks in advance? This is all Ross' fault. Pretty sure they could have waited a few hours and that duck would have just pooped out the ring. And this ring...is this the same family heirloom ring offered to Rachel after she gives birth to Emma? If so, we have a problem with this.

Ross has to choose his best man and Joey, by way of guilt tripping and whining, gets the gig. His first job is to safe guard the family heirloom wedding ring. But the ring goes missing after the bachelor party. Did the stripper steal it or did the duck swallow it? Meanwhile, Phoebe's pregnancy hormones are out of control. Her mood swings cause Monica and Rachel to walk on eggshells around her. They decide to try and cheer her up by throwing her a baby shower but it backfires. Big time.

I guess we were due a re-watch worthy of the lowest rating of the entire series. This is it folks! It can only go up from here. Even with barely any new content, we still have a perplexing list of general wondering-ments. We simply must know: exactly how big of a deal is Die Hard to men of a certain age? Rachel Green is spelled wrong on the invitation. Is that really the best the prop team can do? Really? Shout out to the mega old-school wedding invitations.

Ross and Emily are sending out their wedding invitations which leads Ross and Rachel to go down memory lane. Ross wonders if he's right in even inviting her and Rachel isn't even sure she should go. Chandler and Joey are itching to do something huge with their lives. After all, a lot is changing with Ross getting married and Phoebe pregnant with the triplets. When Mount Everest gets taken off the table they turn their attention to Die Hard.

An episode re-watch full of wedding dresses and Rachel falling completely off the deep end. Please and thank you! Even with all the comedy gold in this episode, our list of general wondering-ments comes on pretty thick. Again with the adult sibling PDA. Why? Going to a sleep clinic for Joey's snoring problem seems a little hasty? Have they tried any home remedies first? We spy with our little eyes a repeat outfit for Rachel that was just worn in the last episode. Chandler's pick-up line at the sleep clinic is a pure winner!

Monica picks up Emily's wedding dress and ends up spiraling down a rabbit hole of wedding fantasies. Phoebe and Rachel get dragged down with her. Rachel isn't taking the news of Ross' engagement very well. To cope, she proposes marriage to Joshua and it all goes downhill from there. Joey has a snoring problem so Chandler makes him go to a sleep clinic.

Another day, another re-watch. This one involves a lot of haste but we're really just here to watch the girls take their apartment back. Our list of general wondering-ments is intriguing too. The girls accomplished quite a massive apartment exchange in just a few hours with, seemingly, zero help. Phoebe's pregnancy timeline is growing ever more concerning. Ross' earring is terrible, right? Was it ever cool? You know what is cool, though? Phoebe's Santa pants!

The long-distance thing is wearing down on Ross and Emily so they make a hasty decision to get married. The friends, especially Rachel, are stunned at the news. Monica and Rachel have had enough of their bachelorette pad. In an effort to win the purple palace back, they challenge the guys to a winner-takes-all bet. They just can't seem to catch a break. So, they take matters into their own hands while the guys are at a Knicks game.

A re-watch with not just 1 but 2 highly memorable Rachel fashion moments? Yes, please. The fashion conversation may be a breeze but our list of general wondering-ments leaves us all sorts of concerned. The timeline. Oh, the timeline. Joshua's dad: sorta creepy or really creepy? Are super fancy date-nights-in an actual thing? If you catch weird statue guy over Ross' right shoulder at Central Perk be sure to rewind and watch it again. You're welcome.

Planning to sleep with Joshua for the first time tonight, Rachel attempts to seduce him in her new nighty. Things are going well until his parents walk in. Naturally, she pretends it's an actual dress and heads out for a night on the town. Ross and Emily are getting more serious as they navigate the challenges of a long-distance relationship. There's an unexpected challenge when Susan visits London for work and Emily gets all buddy-buddy with her to show her around. This leaves Ross feeling very paranoid and insecure. Frank Jr. and Alice ask Phoebe to name one of the boy babies. With such an enormous collection of options, how will she ever choose?

A re-watch chocked full of the guys just watching a ton of free porn. But this episode is about so much more than just that. Not the least of which is our list general wondering-ments. What is happening with our timeline? Phoebe's pregnancy timeline is not syncing up with Ross and Emily's relationship arc. New York to London and back again in record time? We are so confused! Ross hearing Emily's answering machine from outside in the rain? Really? What name is actually the better choice: Relaxi Taxi or Relaxi-Cab?

Somehow the guys have managed to snag some free porn at the purple palace. They can't turn the television off lest it never returns. Phoebe finds out she's pregnant with triplets and now she must find a way to make a bunch of money so that she can help Frank Jr and Alice support them. Ross confesses his love to Emily at the airport but she doesn't say it in return. A pursuit ensues from New York to London and back again.

An episode that nobody can forget is always worth a re-watch. Rachel may have fallen off the deep end but Jennifer Aniston completely nails it. And our list of general wondering-ments is, as expected, tried and true. We call BS on Phoebe feeling the baby kick at just the end of the first trimester. Plus, Phoebe's pregnancy timeline has all sorts of problems. Have we been watching Friends too long or did Joey's "my cows vs. your cows" argument sound completely legit? What exactly is a "french coat"?

It's Emily's last night in the states so Ross has planned the perfect night out together. But, Rachel is desperate to see Joshua outside of work so that she can seduce him so she throws an impromptu surprise "Bon Voyage Emily" party and invites him to come. Rachel pulls out all the stops at the party to get Joshua to like her. Phoebe's pregnancy cravings are in full effect and all the baby wants is meat. What is a vegetarian to do?

Ross playing rugby and Chandler moving to Yemen is 100% worth the re-watch. So much to love about this episode, yet, so much to question all at the same time. So, Janice really just didn't catch on to this whole Yemen joke? How did Monica go about putting those holes in her wall? We need to have a serious discussion about this rugby scrum: the good, the bad and the ugly. But, mostly just bad and ugly.

Ross seeks to impress Emily with his toughness by joining her countrymen for a game of rugby. With Emily's insight and going "Red Ross" he might just hold his own. Chandler runs into Janice and things get complicated. Being that he is incapable of ever telling her how he feels he tells her he's moving to Yemen just so he can get rid of her. But it goes about 14 steps too far. Monica is on the case of the mystery light switch at the bachelorette pad.

Well, I guess we were due for a re-watch that we kind of just needed to get through. And, even with the introduction of Emily, there's still plenty of general wondering-ments we must discuss. I sincerely hope Joey cleaned his bedding and his mattress after he slept on it with all that stank. I mean, you could practically smell him through the television screen. Inquiring minds must know: does Sunny D have pulp in it? Joey's a fisherman yet lacks even the slightest smidge of boat etiquette and knowledge when he gets his sailboat later. Sure.

After returning from a 3-day fishing trip with his dad, Joey passes out before he can shower and wakes up in a rush to make it to the set of his latest gig: a part opposite Charlton Heston. It turns out even Charlton has some experience with stinking the place up. Rachel finally gets an opportunity to see Joshua outside of work but, first, she has to get out of her previous commitment to hang out with her boss' niece, Emily, for the evening. Enter Ross. Chandler is working his way through the stages of grief after his break-up with Kathy. Except, the guys aren't around to help so the girls step in and help him in their own way.

This is a re-watch that, if remembered at all, is remembered for nothing other than "Josh....Ua"! It's hard to follow the last episode but this one really makes a solid effort. And our general wondering-ments are always a pleasure. Really, this is all Kathy's fault for not warning Chandler in advance about this raunchy play. What girlfriend WANTS her boyfriend to come see her in that kind of production? Personal shopping? Sounds like a joy. Monica seems to have accomplished the work of multiple men over 2 weeks all by herself in 2 days. Riiiiggghhhhtttt.

Rachel gets demoted to being a personal shopper at Bloomingdale's. She's on the verge of quitting when a very handsome, newly single man named Joshua comes in requesting her help. Chandler is convinced that Kathy is sleeping with the co-star of her latest play after he watches them simulate sex on stage. It turns out that Joey's theory of on stage chemistry vs. off-stage chemistry can't be completely trusted. Monica is missing being the hostess now that she doesn't live in the purple palace. She kicks things into high gear to get the new bachelorette pad ready for hosting.

There's literally not a single thing not to love about this re-watch. Zero. Things. I mean, there are still some general wondering-ments. But, who's counting? Where does Monica store 11 categories of towels? They manage to swap apartments at warp speed and it's concerning. We also have strong opinions on a person's scotch tape purchasing habits.

Phoebe's uterus is ready for implantation. Everybody crosses their fingers that just one of those five embryos will attach! Meanwhile, Monica and Rachel get in a betting war with Chandler and Joey over who knows who best. During a trivia game, very well crafted by Ross, the stakes keep getting higher until, finally, the purple palace is on the line. It's really important to know what your best friends do for a living.

We would re-watch this episode SEVEN! times in a row if we could! See what we did there? Even with all this beloved episode has to offer, we still have some questions that need to be discussed. Do museums really have staff cafeterias? Even we can't say "blue blazer back" 3 times fast so who can blame Matthew Perry for getting a little tongue tied? For as iconic and hilarious as she is in this episode, it's a shame that Monica is dressed so terribly. Like, literally, it's the worst! And, finally, Rhonda. Need we say more?

Frank Jr. and Alice are back with the exciting news that they've eloped and are planning to have a baby. But, they might need Phoebe's help with that last part. Chandler recruits Monica and Rachel to help him be better at sex for Kathy. A few tips, a hand-drawn diagram and SEVEN!, SEVEN!, SEVEN! is enough to send Chandler on his way ready to go. Joey gets a job as a tour guide at Ross' museum and is disappointed when he realizes that, apparently, they can't be friends at work.

A re-watch that, at the very least, has a fun title even if it could be more aptly named. Who doesn't like saying 'Poughkeepsie'? But our list of general wondering-ments still runs deep. Does the head chef really have hiring and firing authority over the wait staff? Where's Kathy? Are we sure this menu is appropriate for an Italian restaurant? We have concerns.

Ross is torn between 2 dating prospects: one is just okay but lives just uptown and the other is really great but is a 2 hour train ride away. How ever will he choose? Chandler sets Rachel up on some dates with guys from his office but just can't seem to get it right. Monica's restaurant staff still hates her. So, in an effort to establish her authority, she hires Joey as a waiter just so she can fire him and show everyone who's boss. Last, but certainly not least, Phoebe performs her epic holiday song for her friends and it's everything you'd ever want in a Phoebe original.

A bittersweet re-watch as we bid farewell to Joanna! Gosh, she's a gem. But also, poor Sophie! Even the episodes that surprise us never leave us lacking in the general wondering-ments department. So, what department does Rachel currently work in at Bloomingdale's? Joey eats books. We wish we knew more about that. What kinds of loud clubs were the guys hitting in the mid-afternoon on a weekday?

Gandalf, the party wizard, is coming to town and Ross and Chandler can't wait for the adventures that are most certain to come. Feeling a bit threatened, Joey steps in to show the guys a good time when Gandalf can't make it. Monica writes a nasty review of a new local restaurant and the owner offers her the head chef position. Now she has to step back from the catering business with Phoebe. Rachel is on track to get a big promotion at work but Joanna getting hit by a cab throws a wrench in her plans.

Thanksgiving re-watches are circling around rather quickly it seems! Who doesn't love a good Friends-giving episode? Even still, there are some serious items up for discussion and questions we need answered. Funny how Richard having a son was never mentioned in the series. Like, never ever mentioned before today and never gets mentioned again. The ice in Monica's freezer is regular ice, right? It melts into water, right? What a relief that Monica told Tim where the towel was hanging next to the bathroom sink, lest he couldn't find it on his own.

It's Thanksgiving, yet again, and the friends are ready to break bread together. Joey and Chandler are still in conflict since Chandler kissed Kathy. In an effort to smooth things over with Joey, Chandler agrees to spend the evening in a box to think about what he's done. Monica requires an emergency eye appointment with Richard's emergency on-call doctor who just so happens to be his son and who is also very attractive. Naturally, Monica invites him to Thanksgiving dinner and things get weird. The friends create a secret santa gift exchange but Rachel becomes the center of attention because she returns every gift she ever gets.

A re-watch that's heavy on the drama but also on the laughs: that's what everyone's in for with this episode. But our ever-present list of general wondering-ments does not disappoint. How about that entire storyline that got cut out? Don't worry, we'll spend 3 minutes on a deep-dive discussing Panera's drive-thru operation to shed light on the idea of whether a person can or can not eat alone. Kathy getting a little handsy with the haircut that isn't really a haircut. So, Chandler has really never heard Ross' "sound"?

Joey is casually dating both Kathy and another woman. Chandler urges him to pick just one woman in the hopes that he'll dump Kathy and he can have his own shot with her. No such luck. But, the energy between Chandler and Kathy reaches it's boiling point and a line is crossed. After confessing to Joey that he kissed Kathy, Chandler is left wondering if their friendship will survive. Ross resurrects "the sound" and we are all here. for. it. Another day, another re-watch! While there are a fair share of beloved, memorable, comedic moments in this episode, they don't come without a serious set of general wondering-ments. Why is the boyfriends' roommate buying a birthday gift AT ALL for the girlfriend? Nobody actually lives like this dirty girl, right? And, long live "You're A Grand Ol' Flag". You're welcome!

Ross is dating a new hot girl who also happens to be a disgusting human who lives in a pile of garbage. Monica gets a job catering a funeral and Phoebe helps out. Their individual skill sets as hard ass and wuss make them the perfect team. Kathy's birthday is approaching and Chandler gets her a very thoughtful and expensive gift while Joey wasn't planning to get her anything. After trying to find something better than his gift, Chandler gives Joey his gift to give to her. But Kathy sees what's up. Rachel successfully finishes a crossword puzzle all by herself.

A fun re-watch to welcome a fun character. Kathy is here you guys and we are fans! We've got a solid list of general wondering-ments as well. First of all, we can't not talk about Monica's hair. Oh the hair. What is happening? Why was Chandler invited to go on Joey's date with Kathy and why did he go? We're judging Amanda as a mother just a little bit. Ok, A LOT!

Chandler meets a new, pretty girl in the coffee shop but gets caught with his foot in his mouth when her date, Joey, comes in the door. Phoebe gets a cold and some sexy phlegm to go with it which makes her singing voice a huge hit! Ross and Rachel are competing by means of their latest dating prospects. But the joke's on both of them because Ross' lady friend is using him as a babysitter and Rachel's dude is a keg-sucking thief.

The re-watches just keep on coming. Who doesn't love a good "I wanna quit the gym" reference? Have no fear, however, because we have our own fair share of general wondering-ments. Did anybody actually work out in that kind of attire in real life? Ever? What kind of person lacks the self-control to NOT bite the butt of a stranger? Ever needed to get creative to get out of a gym contract? Erica has and she has lived to tell the tale.

Joey puts the girls on the brink of eviction when he confronts Mr. Treager for making Rachel cry. To smooth things over, Joey agrees to be his dancing partner. Chandler wants to quit the gym but he can't do it by himself. Ross will help him be strong. Or will he? Phoebe has a crush on a client but her oath forbids her from being with him. Oh, and Rachel cries a lot.

Quite a worthy re-watch for the handcuffs and the iconic unscripted moment that accompanied it. But our general wondering-ments do still abound. No offense, but, we still don't know what "Algonquin kids table" means. Losing a nail while prepping food? It happens to the best of us. Has anyone ever encountered a door-to-door salesman as aggressive and forward-moving as this encyclopedia dude?

Chandler reconnects with Joanna, Rachel's boss. His failed attempt at breaking up with her leaves him in a handcuff predicament while pant-less in her office with only Rachel to rescue him. Judy hires Monica to cater a party and she loses a fake a nail in one of the quiches. As Judy tells her, Monica "pulled a Monica". Joey befriends a door-to-door encyclopedia salesman and is taking a stab at some book learning. With only $50 in his pocket, V it is!

This re-watch is a long drop from a jellyfish to a cat. As is typical, the season started out so strong but it doesn't take long before an episode just leaves you feeling mostly nothing. But, even with Chandler being the bright light, this episode still leaves us with so many questions! How long did this robbery last? Did the thief come with a crew and a box truck? Again, it makes no sense that Rachel and Monica were friends in high school.

Phoebe believes the spirit of her dead mother, Lily, has come to her in the form of a stray cat. However, a cat named Julio has gone missing according to the lost cat flyers hanging around the neighborhood. Monica runs into Chip Matthews and he asks her out on a date. Despite him abandoning Rachel at the prom, Monica feels she owes it to the fat girl inside of her to go out with him anyway. Well, it turns out Chip peaked in high school. Chandler and Joey attempt to sell the entertainment center but things go awry when they get robbed and are left with nothing.

The start of another season means we've got a lot of great re-watches ahead and season openers always tend to be some of our favorite episodes. But, you don't need to dive deep to uncover the plethora of general wondering-ments to be discussed. Rachel's selfishness and overall lack of awareness is stunning!! So, Bonnie's just cool with her boyfriend inexplicably going into his ex-girlfriend's bedroom and just closing the door behind her after she left? No questions asked? Is the whole peeing-on-yourself thing really that repulsive? Ursula - we hear you and we see you....thoughts and prayers!

Ross and Rachel, on the brink of getting back together, end up at odds over Rachel's 18-page letter asking Ross to take responsibility for all the failures of their relationship. Monica gets stung by a jellyfish and, rumor has it, peeing on it might help with the pain. Phoebe learns the truth about her biological mom and wrestles with the idea of trying to build a relationship with her.

These season finale re-watches seem to come too quickly! Compared to the season 2 finale, this finale is a redeeming one. But we do have some serious general wondering-ments that need to be discussed. This isn't just a home with bad flood damage. This is a home built on a mountain of sand. Anyone else have major sand anxiety like we do? Bonnie seems to travel well-equipped to shave her head at any moment. Creepy ghost door at Phoebe Sr.'s house: did you see it?

Upon discovering a high-school picture of her parents with another woman, Phoebe tracks down the mystery woman hoping she can talk to her and maybe find out more about the whereabouts of her father. Mystery woman lives at the beach so no better excuse for all the friends to tag along for a little vacation. In Bonnie's absence, Rachel cranks up the flirting. But, when Bonnie shows up, Rachel moves into sabotage mode by convincing her that she should shave her head again. Chandler is desperate to prove to Monica that he could be boyfriend material. Monica isn't so easily convinced. In the end, Phoebe Sr. confesses that she is Phoebe's biological mother and Ross is forced to decide between Rachel and Bonnie.

Well, at least we are one re-watch closer to the season finale? And with all this UFC talk, we have our fair share of general wondering-ments. So many outfit changes....how many days/weeks does this episode span? So many questions. Assuming not every one of our listeners knows all there is to know about UFC, we have the whole history to lay out for you. Robin Williams and Billy Crystal. Is there anything else that needs to be said?

Pete is on a pursuit to become the Ultimate Fighting Champion and Monica is trying to be supportive. Chandler's new boss is a little handsy in the posterior region, leaving him wondering how to handle the situation. Rachel gives Phoebe her blessing to set Ross up on a date with a bald girl. A re-watch that may be forgettable on most fronts but you'll never forget crazy underwear creeping up my butt! Even still, oh the general wondering-ments. They are quite concerning. Monica ready to say yes to a proposal from Pete? Pretty sure anyone with eyes can see Jason's killer body through his over-sized shirt. Isn't Vince's "sensitive side" a bit creepy? Real talk, how many male kindergarten teachers do you know?

Ross has discovered a skin abnormality on his body and is searching for a medical professional to identify and remove it. Monica suspects that Pete might be planning to propose and she convinces herself she might be willing to say yes. Phoebe is dating two guys and can't choose between them. Sensitive or burly? Who will she choose?

It's crazy how sometimes the re-living of the re-watch is funnier than the episode itself. We may not have been able to keep it together impersonating "the screamer" but we've got a concerning list of general wondering-ments. How did this play review get in the newspaper so quickly? What is this play really about anyway? Does anybody know? Remember when Kate used to look down on soap actors? Ben Stiller: we may not be personal fans but he certainly makes this "screamer" character fun to remember!

To save face in front of Ross, Rachel brings a date to Joey's play. His closet rage issues take center stage but Ross is the only person around to ever witness it. Joey and Kate finally get on the same page about being together but then Kate lands a job in L.A. and has to leave. Phoebe is desperate to get her crappy phone fixed for free before her warranty expires and she ends up on hold for two days.

Not much more needs to be said about this re-watch other than YES!!!!! Yes, yes and more yes! So much to love about this episode and yet, our list of general wondering-ments is still concerning. Real talk: what is the bird poop situation with the chick and the duck in an apartment? Is Phoebe dipping her saliva-laden finger in a big tub of powdered instant breakfast? Ross' river boat suit: just why? Monica on roller skates in the full Moondance Diner costume is comedy gold.

In an effort to cheer himself up, Joey opts to rescue a baby chick! So, naturally, Chandler turns around and rescues a duck. Pete comes up with an elaborate plan to spend more time with Monica by making up a fictitious girlfriend, buying a restaurant and offering Monica the head chef position. It turns out Monica might like Pete after all! Ross has the opportunity to be on the Discovery Channel but selflessly gives it up to help Rachel.

Chandler and Joanna make this re-watch totally worth it. Even if the rest of the storylines are just "meh", our ever-concerning list of general wondering-ments does not disappoint. That's a lot of parmesan cheese, right? In what world did Rachel think it was a good idea to set Chandler up with her boss? You haven't seen To Wong Foo....? You don't even know what you're missing. Lauren could have been good for Joey. Let's discuss.

When Ross and Monica's cranky aunt passes away, she leaves her beloved dollhouse to Monica. Phoebe doesn't play the "right" way so she goes off and builds her own Willy-Wonka-esque dollhouse. Joey and his co-star, Kate, finally hook-up but it doesn't mean as much to her as it does to him. Rachel sets Chandler up on a date with her boss, Joanna. Chandler's back is against the wall when he doesn't want to see her again but he already told her he would call her.

Ready for a long-awaited iconic Ross and Rachel interaction with lots of laughs? This is the re-watch for you. Before we order our "Frankie Say Relax" t-shirts on Amazon, first we have to address our list of general wondering-ments. Are Mark and Rachel just no longer friends after this? Are these nurses and doctors drinking on the job? Why isn't there a Gold Man?

Rachel tries to return a box of Ross' things and it's not what he was expecting. Rachel accepts Mark's invitation to go on a date and Ross nearly has a nervous breakdown over it. Joey got a great part in a new play but he doesn't really get along with his co-star. Oh wait, he's just got a crush on her, that's all. Monica is really trying to make things work with Pete. She really likes being with him but she just isn't attracted to him.

This is a pure gem of a re-watch! Such memorable storylines and guest star appearances call for a solid list of general wondering-ments. Frank Jr. and Mrs. Knight (a.k.a. Alice) = oddest couple in the series, yet the one that lasts til the end. Is Pete charming or creepy? So, was Monica's passport just in her purse? Hope she wasn't hungry when he picked her up for dinner?

Rachel gives Chandler a hypnosis tape to help him quit smoking. Frank Jr. comes to visit and introduces everyone to his new fiancee: Mrs. Knight, his home economics teacher. Phoebe tries to intervene and talk some sense into them but there's no stopping a love like theirs. Monica agrees to go on a date with a very persistent, and very wealthy, customer who has a crush on her.

The past is in the past now and this re-watch is a pleasant return to some quality comedy. Even with all the fresh laughs, we've still got some very serious questions. How does nobody know where they're at on the highway? Do they even know where they're going? Look at Joey being all scrappy and resourceful! Although, the speed at which he removes Phoebe's underwire and gets the car door open is concerning. "Pleh" is a lot like Joey's moo point and we support Joey in this endeavor.

The friends are caught in the crossfire between Ross and Rachel post-split. Plans are made to go skiing with Rachel for the weekend and leave Ross behind but things don't go as planned when they get stranded at a rest stop on the highway. Ross laments being alone without Rachel or his friends to his ex-wife Carol. The stress of all of this conflict is too much for Chandler's fragile mental state so he starts smoking again.

If the last episode was painful to re-watch then this one is worse. There's lots of feelings to be had and venting to let out with this one so let's settle in. Oh, and the general wondering-ments abound. Were Ross and Rachel on a break and what does that actually mean anyway? Was Ross drunk when he slept with Chloe? How long did this fight actually last? Just because something says it's "organic" does that automatically mean it's edible?

Ross wakes up to find out that he slept with Chloe from the copy place last night AND Rachel wants to get back together with him. Ruh-roh!! Chandler and Joey advise Ross to not tell her about his affair. But, in chasing "the trail", Ross doesn't get there in time and Rachel finds out from Gunther. Ross and Rachel embark on an all-night fight to save their relationship while the other 4 friends are trapped inside Monica's bedroom overhearing the whole thing. Monica and Phoebe also wax their legs but nobody cares.

Well, it's finally happening. The re-watch(es) we've been dreading from day 1. Let's just dive in to all the feelings of sadness, anger and resentment. Shall we? Perhaps our list of general wondering-ments can help to provide some moments of levity. So, what is Chloe's appeal exactly, because we don't understand it. What on earth is Rachel thinking even letting Mark inside the apartment? Thank you David, Marta and Kevin for airing this episode the day before Valentine's day AND for breaking Ross and Rachel up ON their anniversary. Adding insult to injury. Cool, guys. Cool.

Ross and Rachel find themselves at an impasse after a big fight so Rachel suggests they take a break. In his emotional downward spiral, Ross finds solace with Chloe from the copy place. As if it matters to anyone anywhere, Phoebe is dating a foreign diplomat who doesn't speak any English and his darn translator keeps getting in the way. Monica, Chandler and Joey are also in this episode.

We might as well enjoy this re-watch while we can because the next 2 episodes are going to be doozies! This may be the lowest rated episode of the season but our general wondering-ments leave us plenty entertained. So, Ginger was just left to fend for herself, legless, in a cabin in the woods? Good move, Joey. Odd there's not more fashionable people at this fashion lecture. How long does it take for a potential jingle to go from "idea" to airing on TV?

Phoebe's ex-singing-partner is back and wants to reunite. Eventually, Phoebe comes around and things seem great until Leslie just big fat betrays Phoebe all over again. Chandler is dating a new girl named Ginger who has an artificial leg. Joey used to date her too but after mistaking her leg for a log, he threw it on to a fire and ran for his life! The rift between Ross and Rachel is growing and we are not ok.

Who isn't ready and willing for a little more Richard in an episode re-watch? We're here for it. The other storylines are silly and stupid but, man, they are fun! Have no fear, though. Our general wondering-ments are still plenty. I think the writers need to take a Research 101 course so they can learn that Robert being from California does NOT mean he's ok with the bitter NY winter cold. Lasagna completely from scratch? Really, Monica? And, Tom Selleck sans-mustache must be discussed.

Monica and Richard run into each other and decide to try and be friends. This quickly turns into a friends-with-benefits situation. Phoebe is dating a new man named Robert who is super sporty and adventurous. Also, his mouse can't seem to stay inside his house. Joey and Rachel are reading each other's favorite "classic" novels: The Shining and Little Women. Book spoilers abound and payback is no fun, as Joey comes to learn.

*NOTE: during the recording of this episode, Erica received a text to learn of Betty White's passing. Betty may not be a part of the Friends story but she is beloved by all so we decided to keep the couple of minutes where we remember her in the podcast. This re-watch is where the fall of Ross and Rachel begins. Yet, it's so entertaining to watch. It's kind of a conundrum, actually. Our general wondering-ments also leave us with a lot of questions. Who hears Joey sing at that audition and is impressed? Rachel borrowing one of Phoebe's purses for her first day at her big fashion job...no way, no how! Real talk: Monica gets fired, right?

Ross' jealousy officially goes off the rails when Rachel starts her new job working alongside Mark. Monica is wooed by a new co-worker at the diner who writes an unflattering poem about her. Joey gets an audition for a Broadway musical but his laundry list of lies on his resume are not doing him any favors. Also, lest we forget, the Barbershop Quartet!

One re-watch closer to the dreaded break-up episodes so let's try and savor this one while we can. But can we also address our list of concerns? Joey's 7 sisters are supposed to look so similar but they all look distinctly different if you ask us? The loud upstairs neighbor storyline...just, why? Also, where are Joey's parents?

Chandler gets drunk at Joey's birthday party and fools around with Joey's sister. But, he can't remember which one. Rachel meets a stranger at Monica's diner and he offers to get her an interview at his office at Bloomingdale's. Ross is wary of this mystery man's intentions. The purple palace has an upstairs neighbor who pulled up his carpets and is now super noisy. But, he's really charming so there's nothing they can really do about it. Apparently.

A re-watch with a beloved guest star appearance but yet the episode remains forgettable. Maybe it's the general wondering-ments that are the most concerning. Who is supervising poor little Sarah? Anyone? Real talk, though....what's going to happen with all of these dead trees in Monica's apartment? And in today's edition of what-day-is-it-what-time-is-it, welcome to the longest day in history.

Rachel opts for "the fear" and quits her job at Central Perk before having another job lined up. Phoebe mourns the loss of all of those dead Christmas trees at the tree lot that never got to fulfill their Christmas destiny. Ross accidentally breaks a little girl's leg and, in an effort to make it up to her, works on her behalf to sell as many Brown Bird cookies as he can to earn her that trip to Space Camp that she so desperately wants.

No matter the season, Thanksgiving episodes are always a worthwhile re-watch. And this one is one of the best! Add in a director's commentary track and we are in heaven. Our general wondering-ments are some for the record books too. So, does the hot Dutch girl have a dog or not have a dog? Does anybody really get Monica's blowing-the-marshmallow-out-of-her-nose joke? Chandler seems to know a lot of obscure football lingo in this episode. This doesn't track well with future episodes.

It's Thanksgiving and the friends decide to play a friendly game of touch football. The Geller family competitive nature comes out in full force and it's a sight to behold. There's a hot Dutch girl at the park that both Joey and Chandler are trying to impress. Rachel just wants to be a part of the team. And...Phoebe's just there...she's Switzerland.

An episode re-watch with not a single forgettable storyline, plenty of laughs but, alas, still not one that ranks high in the season for us. You know what does rank high, though? Our general wondering-ments! Yes, we have plenty. Ben's fine guys! He's. FINE. Now just calm down. Does the Purple Palace balcony face the street or an alley? Either way, this poking device would never work. Who knew that Central Perk had apples for sale?

Phoebe fears going to the dentist lest the curse she liveth under kill another innocent victim while she's in the dentist's chair. Necessity prevails and she goes to the dentist and she thinks the curse has been lifted until they discover that ugly naked guy hasn't moved in a few hours. So, they decide to poke him. Joey tells Chandler that he saw Janice kissing her ex so he confronts her about it. When she can't decide who to choose, Chandler decides for her that they should call it quits. A re-watch made worthwhile by Mr. Green and Mr. Green alone. But, we're still here for it. We're also here to talk through all of our questions and concerns in great detail. Why is Phoebe and Joey boxing so painful to watch? Monica bought a new mattress but where did her bed go? This episode thus endeths the race car bed saga. How does it resolve? We never know!

Janice's soon-to-be-ex-husband is using his impending divorce to sell mattresses by throwing a big sale. Monica decides to take advantage of it and picks out a new mattress of her own. But, things go awry when the wrong item is delivered and Monica is stuck with a child's race car bed. Rachel makes an effort to get Ross and her father in each other's good graces by arranging a dinner. But, Ross makes things worse before they get better. Joey is teaching a class for soap opera actors and ends up going up against one of his students for a role. His attempt to sabotage his student's audition doesn't go as planned. Finally, while down at The Mattress King to help Monica work out the race car bed issue, Joey sees Janice kissing her soon-to-be-ex-husband.

Re-watch an episode that supposedly takes place 3 years ago and throws about a million wrenches in the Friends timeline? Yep! Let's do it! Our list of general wondering-ments is no surprise. What's with all the plants? Didn't Chandler and Rachel meet over Thanksgiving back in high school/college days? When exactly did Carol become a lesbian? Who's running this bar? Again, with the plants.

The friends recall a time, 3 years ago, when they almost slept with each other. An alternate universe of sorts where Phoebe is Monica's roommate but has 2 feet out the door before Monica knows a thing about it. Sparks fly when Monica meets Chandler's new roommate, Joey. Newly engaged to Barry, Rachel meets Chandler in a bar and fantasizes about having one last fling with him before she ties the knot. Ross' marriage is over when Carol comes out as a lesbian and he turns to his friend, Phoebe, for comfort and she makes him a little too comfortable....if you catch my drift.

Season 3 is back, baby! We were ready for this re-watch because what's not to love about it? I mean, there's still a large batch of wondering-ments. How did all this lumber get INSIDE the bachelor pad? Why does Ross insist on printing all of these lists? Does he not remember how his last list-printing fiasco turned out? Is Isabella Rosellini on anyone's list in real life? Erica and Aubrie prefer the likes of Gerard Butler and Zac Efron.

Frank Jr. is coming into the city to visit Phoebe to, you know, bond and stuff. It turns out to be more of a challenge to connect with her little brother than Phoebe expected. Joey builds the unit to end all entertainment units for the bachelor pad. Don't worry, though, it's got a mail cubby built right in. The friends have a fun discussion about which celebrities would be on each of their "freebie lists". However, in true Ross fashion, he takes it way too seriously.

Even the so-so episodes deserve a re-watch. Despite the title that tells you virtually nothing to identify the episode, there's still some bright spots of comedy gold. There's also some serious questions we need to talk about. What happened to the Joey we all have come to know because we don't recognize this guy who is suddenly pro-Janice and pro-commitment? So how many mis-matched ice cream cartons did they actually have on set this day?

The reality of a long-term commitment to Janice is looming for Chandler and it's freaking him out. With the help of the friends, he decides to over-commit to push past his doubts. Phoebe poses as Joey's agent to help him get an audition and, as it turns out, she's pretty darn good at it! Ben prefers Barbie over G.I. Joe and Ross just won't let it go.

Sometimes no matter how much you re-watch an episode you still forget about a major storyline. 'Tis the case with this one. We remember the jam plan but totally forget about the baby plan. It's no surprise that we have some serious wonder-ments. Why is Malcolm a character? Just why? Gross. Is it really that easy to just go buy some sperm? Who sleeps in such close quarters? Nobody. That's who!

Monica needs a plan to get over Richard so she goes into the jam-making business. She quickly switches from the jam plan to the baby plan. Chandler tries out Ross' hug and roll trick on Janice but rolls her off the bed instead. Phoebe is being stalked by her twin sister, Ursula's, ex-boyfriend. So, naturally, she starts dating him.

Is there a more iconic episode of Friends? It's debatable but, at the very least, this one has to rank very high on the re-watchable list. It's got all the things, including some serious questions. What female hasn't painstakingly planned her outfit for a black tie event weeks in advance? You don't confess your stalker tendencies to your ex-boyfriend's daughter. Amateur move, Monica. The only thing this episode is missing is Ross' Stress-O-Meter up in the corner of the screen.

Ross is bringing all of his friends along to a black tie event at the museum but it seems nobody has any urgency to get dressed. Chandler and Joey fight, like children, over the living room chair. In their fighting, Phoebe gets a hummus stain on her dress and is now trying to find a solution in Monica or Rachel's closet. Monica hears an old message from Richard on her answering machine and so begins her neurotic downward spiral. Rachel is indecisive on what she's going to wear and pushes Ross to his breaking point. Have no fear though, they reconcile over a glass of chicken fat.

4 weeks is a long time to wait, you guys, but welcome back! And, man, season 3 starts off with a bang. But even the best of season openers has it's fair share of general wondering-ments. What size army was Janice preparing those pancakes for? Monica comin' in hot with the perfect hair, flawless skin and pro makeup application...too bad she's supposedly in deep mourning and going on 3-4+ days of no sleep. Explain please? What are the chances Erica and Aubrie take a 3 minute tangent to talk about TItanic?

At Rachel's request, Ross tells her about a Star Wars role-playing fantasy he has. When he finds out that she told Phoebe, Rachel has to convince him that he's only upset because he should be sharing these types of things with his guy friends...because, bonding. Monica is post-break-up with Richard and is grieving and sleep-deprived. Ultimately, only a Monicuddle does the trick. Chandler is officially dating Janice and it's a reality that Joey just cannot accept. And, finally, hold me close young Tony Danza. Need we say more?

Seriously, though, we talk about everything! The fashion, the best guest appearances, most re-watchable episodes, which character won the season and we discuss some of season 2's most burning questions. And, of course, we have an epic round of trivia trip-up to wrap up the whole thing.

A re-watch that makes for a great episode but a pretty poor finale. Lots going on in this episode which leads to lots of wondering-ments. Why is this the finale? Why is Monica at Barry and Mindy's wedding? Chandler's internet speed seems to be faster than mine as I type this. Hmmmm? The new actress playing Mindy is actually playing a different Mindy entirely.

Rachel is going to Barry and Mindy's wedding and just wants to make it through the night without any disasters. If it weren't for that god-awful bridesmaid dress! Monica and Richard have reached an impasse in their relationship. Chandler meets a mystery woman online and their in-person meet-up reveals that it's none other than JANICE!!!! Joey needs some practice kissing guys for this new role that he's up for.

A re-watch with Charlie Sheen? It's easy to forget that he made this tiny appearance on the show. It's also the episode where Ross and Rachel are basically non-existent. But, hey, what about those general wondering-ments? Have no fear....we are here! Ryan was exposed, became symptomatic and fully recovered from the chicken pox in less than 2 weeks. Riiiiigggghhhhttt. Monica is disgusted by germs but also appears to pursue them. Don't we all have a particular way we like to make the bed?

Phoebe's Navy submarine lover boy, Ryan, is coming to visit but she comes down with the chicken pox. So, he gets the chicken pox too. Monica's neurotic quirks are front and center. In an act of solidarity and love, Richard goes on a quest to find his own "thing". Joey gets an entry level job at Chandler's company but his character, Joseph the Processing Guy, is more than a nuisance to Chandler.

The most fun re-watch of the episode we always forget that we love so much! What's more fun than having both Mr. and Mrs. Green with Ross running interference between them? Even our general wondering-ments come with all the laughs. Can we have extras dancing in the background for every episode? Is Ross trying to get Mr. Green hammered with that scotch pour?

It's Rachel's surprise birthday party and the friends get their own surprise when BOTH Mr. and Mrs. Green show up. Mid-divorce and these two just don't get along so one party gets split into two separate parties to keep Mr. and Mrs. Green from crossing paths. Ross wins the night running interference between them. Phoebe is helping guests escape Monica's party because she's obsessive and controlling and her party is no fun.

Well, at least we get some Frank Jr. in this re-watch because the laughs are few and far between. But, there are some basic questions and concerns to fill the time. Why does olive loaf exist and who actually eats it? Do mid-afternoon men-behaving-like-children fist fights happen in the streets of Manhattan? YMCA on the jukebox of a 50's themed diner? Riddle me that.

All signs are pointing to Phoebe making another visit to her birth father. Things don't go as planned when she ends up running over his dog. She may not get a father in the end but she does gain a little brother. Monica is down to her last few bucks in the bank and decides to invest it in the stock market to avoid taking a job at a 50's themed diner. Spoiler Alert: she ends up working at said diner. Chandler and Ross encounter some real-life bullies at the coffee shop.

Let's call this the re-watch that references all the movies that Erica and Aubrie have never seen. And there's not even a new guest appearance to discuss. What will we do with all of this free time? Talk about our general wondering-ments, of course! Is this the longest day ever? Is chicken and potatoes served on a salad plate a meal? No Knicks gear to wear to the game? Really?

Phoebe learns that her mom used to shield her from the pain and sadness of the sad endings of movies by turning them off early so she's having a rude awakening re-watching all of her childhood faves. Richard forms a bond with Chandler and Joey that he thinks is just him becoming one of "the guys" but, it turns out, they think of him as a dad. Ross has planned out his entire life with Rachel and this is news to her.

Eddie is around just a little bit longer in this re-watch and, surprisingly, we aren't that mad about it! Eddie may be funny and Chandler may be on his comedy A-game this episode but we've still got some questions. What's the return policy on all of Joey's furniture? How many takes did it take for Jennifer to get out the line: "How do you expect me to grow if you won't let me blow?"

Chandler reaches his limit and kicks Eddie out but getting him to leave proves harder than you might think. The girls have read the latest book on female empowerment and are now obsessed with making sure the lightning bearers of the world don't steal their goddess wind. Joey's career and financial status post Days of Our Lives is in question and he has to make some tough decisions.

Well, these Eddie episode re-watches aren't as bad as we expected. We've still got questions though! Why aren't the men coming stocked with the condoms? Didn't Monica have a diaphragm? How many guys has Monica actually been with? We do the math! How much popcorn is too much popcorn?

For Richard & Monica and Rachel & Ross all the talk is about their "magic numbers". Ross gets caught up on Rachel's animal sex with Paolo and Monica can't get past Richard's TWO. Chandler gets to know Eddie a little better but he very quickly has roommate remorse. Joey shoots himself in the foot in an interview with Soap Opera Digest so the writers on Days of Our Lives kill him off the show.

We are getting into a series of re-watches involving the "meh" character of Eddie!! We discuss our own fair share of questions, though, that are completely unrelated to Eddie. What was the music producer lady's plan with this music video? How was this going to make her any money? An entire carton of OJ and a bag of english muffins sitting right on the stovetop next to an open flame? Totally cool.

Chandler and Joey are missing each other but neither has the guts to tell the other so Chandler decides to move on. Enter Eddie. Phoebe gets "discovered" by a music producer. The official Smelly Cat music video makes it to VHS, except, that isn't Phoebe's voice!! Monica and Ross have regressed into the childhood Geller dimension that has them both going completely crazy.

A re-watch full of some comedy gold, great Phoebe moments and, well, Richard! What could be missing? Well, I think our set of general wondering-ments can fill that gap. Is this a daytime birthday party or an evening party? Aubrie thinks one and Erica thinks the other....we'll let you be the judge. Shouldn't Rachel be AT Jack's birthday party? And, Richard, we adore you but do better when it comes to breaking the news to your middle-aged bestie that you're dating his 27 year old daughter.

Ross, Monica and Richard are all headed out to the Geller family home for Jack's 50th birthday celebration. Monica and Richard are keeping their relationship on the DL but all the guests have already heard some rumors about a mystery twinkie in the city and gossip abounds at every turn. Joey makes the hard but grown up decision to get his own apartment but not being bestie roommates is harder than expected for he and Chandler to navigate. Rachel and Phoebe go get tattoos. Well, Rachel gets a tattoo and Phoebe gets a....dot.

This is a worthy re-watch! Not because of the, well, you know but because of RICHARD!! Give us all the Richard with a side of some serious questions/concerns. Has any eye doctor ever gotten that close to a patient's eye...ever? Sooooo, we all agree that Ross loses his job over his night of sexual debauchery at the museum, right? Also, Rachel doesn't wear glasses. Ever.

Ross and Rachel are primed and ready for their first official date. A couple of mixed up schedules and an evening of nervous laughter later, IT finally happens! Joey's got some money to spend so he buys a set of recliners and a new big screen TV for the bachelor pad. They're never leaving the apartment again. Monica gets a catering job for one of her parent's friends and the sparks fly with this dashing man, Richard, who is 20 years her senior.

It's happening!! It's finally happening! The long-awaited re-watch is finally here. Our hearts have finally gotten everything it's ever wanted but we still have questions. Chandler is seeing Fat Monica for the first time but don't think about that too long because soon enough you're going to see that he actually met Fat Monica long before that prom video actually happened. Monica didn't wash her hands before making the salad. Can we all agree this is a problem? Count them 1, 2, 3, 4 episodes in a row for Joey's wretched checked blazer. Why?

Ross is making another effort to smooth things over with Rachel...again. She shoots him down. Until she doesn't anymore. Monica's parents bring over some childhood boxes and the crew finds an old home video of Monica & Rachel getting ready for the prom. Ross' present day heartbreak hits a little too close to home for him as he re-lives what he ALMOST did that night of the prom. He's her lobster - need we say more? Joey gets Chandler a shiny, sparkly, gaudy, gold best buds bracelet and the comedy truly is...GOLD!

Part 2 of a fun re-watch. Julia Roberts appearing on Friends? What's not to love? Not much. But some questions still abound. What kind of security operation is this movie set running? Do you think this fancy fine-dining restaurant could spring for some nicer bathrooms? What's worse: handbag marinara or pulled thread on your favorite sweater?

The friends have explored the movie set of Outbreak 2 where Ross is seeking to spend some time with Marcel. Chandler runs into an old classmate who uses her good looks to achieve the ultimate revenge for the 4th grade "Susie Underpants" incident. Monica swoons over Jean Claude Van Damme but Rachel ends up going out with him instead and a cat fight ensues. And, naturally, Joey is on a mission to make it into the movie somehow.

Get ready for part 1 of a star-studded re-watch. But even big stars such as Brooke Shields and Chris Isaak can't cover up the plethora of questions we have. So, how exactly did Erica the stalker get Joey's address if she thinks he's Drake? Does anybody born after 1990 even know how big of a deal Chris Isaak was? And, why is Marcel back? Why?

Joey has his first official stalker but it turns out she's really hot so he's up for seeing if he can make it work. A cute guy recruits Phoebe to play her music for kids at a local library. Her kids love her hard-hitting, truthful lyrics but, the parents, not so much. Ross attempts to visit Marcel in San Diego but finds out that he's now a performance monkey in the entertainment industry. And, what are the chances that Marcel is working right in New York City? This was a welcome re-watch especially after the last episode. Weddings are always fun and they don't skimp on the general wondering-ments. How quickly did they plan this wedding? Fact: Chandler and Ross took more like a lunch vacation...not a lunch hour. Fix Chandler's coat collar, Ross. Fix it!!!!

Carol and Susan announce they are getting married and Ross couldn't be less thrilled about it. But, in typical good-guy fashion, he mans up in the end. Monica gets the job catering the wedding and fails to plan enough time to do all the things. Phoebe's massage client dies on the table and her spirit enters Phoebe's body. So, she's on a mission to go and "see everything" to help the spirit cross over. Mrs. Green comes for a visit and drops a bomb on Rachel.

Oy! Not sure there's many redeeming words we can say about this re-watch. There's the general overall question as to WHY Russ is even a thing? And why must Rachel's new boyfriend act like Ross and be severely unattractive to boot? At least Fun Bobby is back...oh wait.

Rachel is moving on and is now dating a man named Russ that looks and acts a little too much like Ross. Monica is back together with Fun Bobby but after she convinces him to quit drinking there is no fun left to be had. Joey has an opportunity for his biggest acting break yet but he has to sleep with the casting lady. Will he or won't he?

A fun re-watch of an episode that the general public didn't care for but we think it's great! It's Christmas in the Friends universe which means there's a lot of laughs and a lot of questions. Is it too hot in your apartment, Monica? How about you open a window? Ross seems to be walking around with large sums of loose cash in his pocket. Does this concern anyone else? Does anyone REALLY wait until Christmas Eve to decorate their tree?

Happy Christmas Eve Eve! Rachel and Monica are throwing a Christmas party but when the radiator knob breaks it turns into a tropical Christmas party. Ross convinces Rachel to make her own list about him. She does. He doesn't handle it well. Phoebe's grandmother comes clean about her biological father's identity and exact home address. Chandler and Joey accompany Phoebe on her failed attempt to go see her dad and, in doing so, run out of time to do any of their Christmas shopping. It's ok though - there's a gas station on the way home.

The juxtaposition of a great episode where you hate everything that happens. That defines this re-watch for Erica & Aubrie. Even with the fun nuggets we gather from the director's commentary, we still have some serious questions and concerns. Such as, why is Monica so turned on by hearing the story of her brother kissing her best friend? Is "the list" really that offensive? And, don't forget, the fun blast-from-the-past that is Chandler's laptop.

Ross is torn between Julie and Rachel so he takes Chandler's advice and makes a pros/cons list to aid in his decision - with the help of Chandler's new laptop, of course. However, it wasn't part of the plan for Rachel to see this list. Monica takes a job creating some Thanksgiving recipes showcasing a new synthetic chocolate substitute called Mockolate. Yes. It's as bad as it sounds.

It's finally happening! Ross figures out Rachel's big secret in this re-watch. Ross and Rachel may be the focus in this famous episode but it's not without it's fair share of questions or general wonder-ments. Do you think a restaurant called The Saloon would have linen table cloths and serve wine in crystal stemware? This poor cat...thank God that Ross and Rachel saved it from it's most certain fate of living a life of a child caught between two divorced parents.

Ross and Julie have plans to buy a cat together. Rachel has a date...with a man. But she can't stop thinking about Ross. Want a re-watch with all the Phoebe lyrical gems? This is the one for you. But, also, there's a lot of questions. The entire baby-being-left-on-the-bus thing....so wrong on so many levels. Central Perk suddenly offers moody stage lighting for their performers. Phoebe's on fire and that's all you really need to know for this episode.

Ross has an allergic reaction to Monica's kiwi-lime pie and has to go to the hospital. He leaves Ben with Joey and Chandler who decide to use him on the streets of New York to attract women. Things get scary when they accidentally leave him on a city bus. Terry at Central Perk has hired a professional musician so Phoebe is being pushed to the curb. Literally. Smelly Cat, you guys. How about a re-watch with a glorious 90's time warp? This episode comes with a lot of Hootie & The Blowfish talk and it's everything! But, it's not without it's own very important set of unanswered questions. How is Stevie Fisher a lawyer? Is accepting the steaks as a kickback really worthy of being fired? Has anybody every divided up a dinner bill with friends the way Ross did?

The friends allow money issues to come between them when it's obvious that Ross, Chandler and Monica make more money than Rachel, Phoebe and Joey. Ross' birthday is coming up and a big hoopla is planned but Rachel, Phoebe and Joey sit out of the festivities because they can't afford the concert tickets. The other three go to the Hootie & the Blowfish concert and end up partying with the band. Chandler pretends to be a guy named Bob to sleep with a woman named Jade. Oh and Monica gets promoted and then subsequently fired 2 days later.

Not quite the re-watch we were expecting. But even with the weird storylines and raunchy sex talk we make time to discuss all the things that really matter. Is 1 bag of tortilla chips and 1 container of guacamole really enough for 6 people? Based on the timeline, that either is indeed Chandler's baby that Janice is carrying or she was pregnant before they hooked up on Valentine's Day...either way, where's the spin-off show? And, why is Phoebe dressed up as a 60's go-go girl?

Surprise! It turns out Phoebe is married to a Canadian gay ice dancer who needed a green card and he has returned to NYC to ask for a divorce. Double surprise - he's actually straight. Bouncing off of Phoebe's big news, the friends start spilling each other's secrets: Chandler has a 3rd nipple and Joey was in a porno. Ross seeks out Rachel's advice on how to jumpstart he and Julie's sexual relationship but her plans for sabotage don't exactly pan out.

A beloved re-watch to honor a beloved character, Mr. Heckles. And, oh the laughs...so many laughs. We hash out all of our questions. Such as, surely Ross doesn't have the authority to just leave the museum with a briefcase full of 200 million year old fossils? Did Monica really knock over the lamp on purpose? But, the big burning question: is Janice pregnant with Chandler's baby? The timeline suggests it's highly probable.

Mr. Heckles has died and leaves all of his earthly possessions to Monica and Rachel. In cleaning out all of his junk, Chandler discovers that he and Mr. Heckles are eerily similar and now Chandler is panicked that he's going to end up alone. So, Chandler makes a bold move and calls Janice! Phoebe doesn't believe in evolution so Ross goes on a mission to convince her otherwise.

Quite a fall from the glory of season 2 episode 1 but there's still some good comedy in this re-watch. What would a re-watch be without discussing all of the things that matter most. Does breastmilk really taste like cantaloupe juice? Why does the "hombre man" storyline even exist? And can someone explain the conversation between Rachel and Julie in the last scene?

Ross, and the friends, are babysitting Ben for the day and Phoebe has the nerve to taste the breastmilk from Ben's bottle. Ross gets totally freaked out by this. Monica has been hanging out with Julie and tries to keep it a secret from Rachel. When her big secret comes out, Rachel has some words for Monica. We're back and it's the start of season 2!!! What better way to launch a new season than with one of our absolute favorite episodes! Aside from the countless laughs from this jam-packed episode, Aubrie & Erica discuss all of your burning questions. I mean, we know Jennifer Aniston's got some great legs, but are her miniskirts TOO short? How is it that the compulsively clean Monica let Phoebe cut her hair in her bedroom without laying down something to catch the hair? And, absolutely no reference to the pin that Ross got Rachel for her birthday...really??

Rachel is heartbroken to see Ross get off the plane with a new girlfriend in tow, Julie. Now she has to figure out how to carry on with these newfound feelings for Ross. Chandler pays a visit to Joey's family tailor who, as it turns out, is a sexual predator. Phoebe, amongst her many other talents, is a pro at cutting hair and she reluctantly agrees to give Monica a haircut but it goes awry when she mistakes Dudley Moore for Demi Moore.

The season 1 finale is finally here!! After this re-watch we have all the feels for what season 2 is about to bring. Of course, we've got some serious questions and concerns to discuss first. Is it really a barbecue when you don't serve barbecue? Was Phoebe in charge of the birthday decorations? How emergent is this "whole big bone thing", really?

It's Rachel's birthday but Ross has to miss it for an unexpected business trip to China. When Rachel opens Ross' very thoughtful gift Chandler lets it slip that Ross loves her so now she has to grapple with this new information. Joey has a new girlfriend but his participation in a fertility study is keeping him from being able to seal the deal so he figures out exactly how he can be there for her and still get his $700. Carol is finally in labor and the whole friend crew is at the hospital in anticipation. Ross & Susan do nothing but fight for first position and end up locked in the janitor's closet with Phoebe. Tons of ick in this episode re-watch. Thank God for Chandler, Phoebe and some Rachel sex dreams to deliver the comedy. We take a deep-dive into how beeper technology actually worked. And, why Ethan? Just why? Don't forget to go watch 500 Days of Summer!

Ross has a new beeper so Carol can contact him when she goes into labor but he spends most of his time dodging mistaken pages for a male escort service. Rachel is having sex dreams about Chandler, then Joey but not Ross. Join us for this re-watch where Monica just isn't herself, literally. Why would she befriend the woman who stole her identity? We talk about all the things. Things like, why Ross seems so careless about carting his illegal, exotic animal (i.e. Marcel) all around town for anyone and everyone to see. Also, Dead Poets Society and Mrs. Doubtfire are both excellent movies...don't believe what Friends tells you!

Monica's credit card gets stolen and she befriends the woman who took it. Marcel is humping everything in sight so the vet says it's time for him to go. Wrapping up this 2 part re-watch with the better of the two episodes...in our humble opinion. We discuss our burning questions such as what's with the ER crossover and changing the doctor's names? Did the Joey & Phoebe kiss give anybody else some confusing vibes? Just Erica? Ok. We also briefly chase a squirrel named Jennifer Lopez.

Rachel ends up in the emergency room where she convinces Monica to let her use her insurance. But, it's ok because they meet some cute doctors while they're there. Keeping up the ruse proves too difficult on their double date. Ross is doubting his ability to be a good father. Ursula is blowing Joey off so Phoebe takes the situation into her own hands.

Time for another re-watch. We discuss this episode with a groundbreaking title! I mean, whoever titled it really should get a big raise. Aubrie and Erica disagree on whether or not Nina is actually cute. We meet Phoebe's twin sister Ursula and enjoy a fun Mad About You crossover with a cameo by Helen Hunt. Were you really able to switch the audio on your TV to Spanish? And, Ross attending a lamaze class with his ex-wife and her lesbian lover. Does it get any better than that?

Joey meets Phoebe's twin sister, Ursula, and gets Phoebe's permission to ask her out. Phoebe quickly has second thoughts, though. Chandler has to fire an attractive co-worker but ends up asking her out instead. And, it's time for Ross, Carol and Susan to take a lamaze class...he's fine, everything's fine.

In this re-watch it's just undeniable that Jon Lovitz just makes everything better! We discuss what it was like to see Jan from The Office as Celia the dirty talker. And we actually DO know what Chandler does for a living - I mean, there's this whole episode about it.

Chandler gets offered a promotion at work but turns it down right before he takes it back. Monica is interviewing for a head chef position at a new restaurant but her potential boss shows up to her audition completely stoned. And Ross is on a date with a woman who's into dirty talk and, as with everything in life, it makes him uncomfortable.

Chandler's co-worker assumes he's gay and now he is consumed with why anybody would think that about him. Ross & Monica's nana has passed and the Geller's are in full-on funeral planning mode but not without Judy's over-bearing tendencies upon Monica.
