Advent looks forward to Jesus' coming and today a preacher arrives to prepare us for His Kingdom
Christ is coming soon. Do we have what we need while we wait? Are we lacking anything? For what should we be praying?
Paul teaches us to pray all kinds of prayers, including prayers of thanks, for all people, especially our leaders.
Why can Christians look forward to Judgment Day? What will the coming of Christ mean for the world and for man?
As the end of the world is approaching, how should we live? Who or what forms your identity?
Jesus will return soon. Will you be ready and waiting or have you been putting off preparations?
What lessons can we learn from the saints who went before us? How did they handle pandemics?
How does one become righteous before God? What must be done for God to say that I am righteous?
How does God show He is in control in the face of His people going into captivity? And what does this say about our captivity and our deliverance?
God has invested a lot of time and effort into His vineyard and what does He receive from it?
Jesus' authority is questioned but we find it us not He who is misusing His authority...
What can you say about another master's servant? What is your place in judging such a one?
The Fourteenth Sunday After Pentecost looks at how we love and treat the smallest in God's Kingdom.
God's ways are not our ways. The Church is not run the way we would expect nor did Christ respond to evil the way we would.
Foundations are important to how well a building holds up and survives. Upon what foundation is the Church of Christ built? Upon what do you stand?
We are needy and helpless far more than we often realize. Yet in all things we lack our greatest need is God's compassion.
How are we to understand the world which has evil, suffering, and people pitted against each other? How is God dealing with the lies and those who embrace evil? How can we know the truth the world is full of competing claims about God?
How will you live since the Word of God has been planted in you? What does it mean that you are adopted by God? Find certainty in God's Word and promises!
Are you burden by what is going on in the world? Wearied by what is being handed down by mankind from generation to generation? Jesus speaks...
Looking at Jesus' teaching to the disciples in Matthew 10:5a, 21-33 we see how these words still apply today and how we are called to likewise confess our Lord and God.
Is "God" generic? What do we know of God? During the Festival of Holy Trinity we take time to ponder what God has revealed about Himself.
At Pentecost we celebrate Jesus and the Father sending the Holy Spirit. Today we examine our new purpose in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Christ has ascended. How is that good? What is Jesus doing while we wait for His return?
The Disciples are troubled by what will be and so often are we. What does Jesus say to such?
The Good Shepherd cares for His sheep in many ways. We examine one of those ways today.
We see how Jesus abides with us today and where we "see" Him while we await His second coming.
The Second Sunday of Easter continues to unpack the implications of the Resurrection as we see how the disciples responded to Christ being alive.
Easter celebrates Jesus resurrection. Today we unpack some of the implications of the resurrection.

Continuing with the Passion according to St. Matthew, we reflect on the Jesus' crucifixion and what it teaches us about ourselves and God.
The Fifth Sunday of Lent looks forward to the Resurrection but also reminds us of what sin does and what it costs our Lord. The Scripture readings are from An American Translation of the Bible.
The Annunciation of our Lord is extremely significant as it marks the point in time when God entered the world in our flesh in order to redeem us out of this world of sin and suffering.
