This series stems from the various amount of Zoom conversations that I have had with friends during the past 5 months of quarantine.
Can ya hear me? Joining us today is John Gonzalez (john_gainzalez), a high school educator in Southern California! We discuss what it is like to be an educator in these times during coronavirus, and how the virus has shaped his perspective and outlook towards the students he serves. Teaching students who grew up in a similar manner than him, and primarily Hispanic -- like him--, we shift the conversation to discuss "the American Dream" and what it means to John and his family.

We talk about what it was like growing up in Roseville, California, and her subsequent transition from Northern California to college life at UC Irvine. Having been a Disney fan all her life, Catherine was able to make some magic of her own while landing a job within Disneyland's College Program. Since then, she has made a couple of career changes. But, dating life as a working woman in Southern California has not been easy -- she is gearing up to launch her own dating blog, soon!
