In this first episode of "EPSA's Podcast," we delve into the significance of interprofessional collaboration among healthcare professionals as well as the complexity of achieving an interprofessional approach to the health students' curricula so as to ensure optimal patient care, leveraging the diverse student body within EHSAA.

In this first part of the episode "EHSAA in a nutshell: interprofessional collaboration among students", we explore the varied curriculums of our health sector programs, in particular, for medicine students, pharmacy students and psychology students, discussing how they can complement and align with each other, enhancing our collective expertise.

The European Antibiotic Awareness Day is an annual European public health initiative that takes place on 18 November to raise awareness about the threat to public health of antibiotic resistance and the importance of prudent antibiotic use.

Our guests are pharmacy students from European countries who are actively involved in encouraging the responsible use of antibiotics. Mojca Gojčič- Liaison Secretary and one of the advocacy representatives of ŠSSFD (Students' Section of Slovenian Pharmaceutical Society), Chloé Lebbos- Vice President in charge of European Affairs of ANEPF (Association nationale des Etudiants en Pharmacie de France), and Filip Bařinka- Public Health Coordinator of CzPSA (Czech Pharmaceutical Students' Association), highlight the importance of students’ involvement in AMR advocacy and share with us the initiatives done by their national associations to raise awareness on antimicrobial resistance.
