Grace is unmerited, undeserved favor. Grace has nothing to do with what we have or have not done in life, but what #Jesus has already done for us. He took all our sins so that we would be made righteous. He took all our sickness and disease so that we would have perfect health. He took poverty so that we would be rich. In this episode of the Abundant Life we talk about how He took all the curse of the law so that we would be blessed. Your only job is to believe!
Your self-righteousness is equated to a filthy rag and has no value in getting you blessed (Selah). Your blood, sweat, and tears will do nothing to qualify you for the blessing. The way you are blessed is to believe that Jesus took ALL your sin so that you would be righteous, all of the curses so that you would be blessed. Outside the grace circle, the message of undeserved and unmerited favor has inherited the slang terms of sloppy agape or greasy grace. This Blessed by Grace message is not a license to engage in sin or crazy behavior but to understand your righteousness, a free gift to you, paid in full, by the blood of Jesus to save you from yourself!
Jesus says all things are possible! The only restriction lies between our ears. With #prayer and #faith, you can receive the impossible!
Tithing is a way to show that we trust God with our lives and our finances. Don't be confused - God doesn’t need our money, and tithing is not for his benefit. Rather, tithing is meant for OUR benefit, as it reminds us that we should rely on God to meet our needs, not our income, which can be sacrificed for the good of others.
Your word matters! Too many people are discouraged by feeling that they are insignificant as an individual and therefore do not have an impact. We see this in business, politics (voting) and almost everywhere in between. Breakthrough this barrier by starting small - in your household, your local church, and your community.
