Legendary Canadian rock band 54-40 have released their new album PORTO with the current Top 40 rock radio single “Running For The Fence” - recorded in Portugal with longtime producer Warne Livesey - and they'll be at Delta’s Barns To Beaches Festival on June 20.
But the bigger story is that this is one of the longest-running bands in Canadian music history still led by its founders: Neil Osborne and Brad Merritt have stood side by side since they formed the band as Vancouver teenagers in 1980, with drummer Matt Johnson aboard nearly 40 years. Across 45 years, 17-plus albums, and well over 2,500 shows, they helped invent a distinctly Canadian alt-rock sound alongside The Tragically Hip and Blue Rodeo - and inspired everyone from Our Lady Peace to the Arkells.
There's a remarkable backstory here too. Their classic "I Go Blind" was a song their own U.S. label deemed unworthy of a full release in 1986 - then, a decade later, Hootie & the Blowfish's cover landed on the Friends soundtrack and rocketed into the Billboard Top 5, and the royalties let 54-40 build their own Vancouver studio. It's one of Canadian music's great vindication stories, and the song was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2021. That thread - a band that did it their own way, outlasted the industry that doubted them, and is still making vital new music at 45 - runs straight through PORTO, which Osborne calls "an album about renewal and resilience."
Today, hard rock legends NIGHT RANGER are proud to unveil their newly remastered version of their 1983 single, "(You Can Still) Rock in America (2026)," taken from their upcoming ‘Best Of’ album, set for release on August 28th via Frontiers Music Srl. The new single arrives alongside an official video, available below.
'Best Of' features newly remixed & remastered versions of classic hits spanning NIGHTRANGER’s illustrious career, alongside some standout tracks from the band’s more recent releases. The album will be released on both CD and Vinyl. The double LP is available in 3 different colors: black, gold, & orange splatter.
Few bands have defined the sound of American melodic rock quite like NIGHT RANGER. From the soaring anthem of “Sister Christian” to the thunderous riffs of “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me," and fan favorites like “You Can Still) Rock in America” this album’s ‘Best Of’ collection captures the very essence of their decades-long career — now refreshed for 2026.
Featuring the classic hits alongside standout tracks from their more recent albums, this compilation spans the full spectrum of NIGHT RANGER’s signature sound: anthemic choruses, blazing guitar solos, and unforgettable melodies. Highlights include the power-pop perfection of “(You Can Still) Rock in America,” the heartfelt balladry of “When You Close Your Eyes,” and the cinematic sweep of “Four in the Morning.”
But the ‘Best Of’ is not just a look back. It also celebrates the band’s creative output over the last 20 years, spotlighting tracks like “Time of Our Lives,” “High Road,” “No Time to Lose,” “Somehow Someway,” and “Truth,” proving that NIGHT RANGER’s energy, songwriting, and musicianship have only grown stronger with time. These songs show that the band continues to innovate while staying true to the melodic rock roots that made them legendary.
The band — Jack Blades (bass and vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums and vocals), Brad Gillis (guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards), and Keri Kelli (guitars) — delivers every track with the energy and precision that have kept NIGHT RANGER at the forefront of rock for more than four decades.

“Match Made In Hell,” the debut full-length album from Bad Marriage via RFK Media and Amplified Distribution, officially hit the streets worldwide on Friday the 13th of March. Riding a massive wave of positive response to the presale campaign, over 30K immediate organic views on the official music video, and packed houses on tour, it seems the honeymoon has officially begun.
The first single/title track has already impacted Apple’s “Breaking Hard Rock” and “New In Rock” playlists. The release has already been front-page news on all the major rock media sites. And the hardcore fans (lovingly known as the “Bad Marriage Society”) are unanimously standing at the altar in praise as they begin to consummate this sonic love affair by cranking up the album over and over again.
CDs and vinyl LPs are available now at https://rfkmediashop.com and https://badmarriagemusic.com, and of course all major online retailers like Amazon, Tower Records, and Target. Drummer Cody Ash came to Niagara to speak with the students at Notre Dame High School. Following that I sat down and chatted with him at STK at the Embassy Suites in Niagara Falls about his drumming career and tour like playing drums with Country Star Jelly Roll.

Canadian-born Rick Hughes is the lead singer of the legendary heavy-metal band Sword and of the hard-rock band Saints & Sinners, during his career he has played hundreds of headline shows and has opened for Metallica, Motorhead, Metal Church, Alice Cooper, Bon Jovi, Warlock, Anthrax, Black Label Society, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, WASP, Helix, Styx, and Lee Aaron.
Blessed with a great range and a powerful voice, Rick Hughes has performed in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Japan, and is a highly respected rock and metal vocalist internationally. His main influences are Robert Plant, Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford and French-Legend Johnny Hallyday.
His new solo album "Redemption" was produced by John Webster (Aerosmith, Tom Cochrane, Motley Crue, etc.) in Vancouver and Los Angeles and features some of the top metal and hard-rock musicians in the world, including an incredible reunion for its first single and video.
"After over four decades of touring and recording, it’s truly special to see this anniversary release come to life," Curran says. "The artwork, rare photos, and the discovery of the Cleveland Agora live audio from our very first show in the USA add a perfect finishing touch for the band and our dedicated fans.”
Dixon adds, "Our show at the Redwood Theatre will be the first time presenting the mighty Hatch sound in an Unplugged & Acoustic format. Still intense, with the same tightness and power that all these years together have built, but with more nuance and emphasis on the songs and vocals. We have some surprises planned and we can't wait to show off our skills in a new setting!”

Suicide Star Live at OLG Fallsview Casino
Formed in late 2020 and comprised of veteran musicians Rob Barton, Dakota Prince, Aki Maris, Gary Borden and Brian Hamilton, Suicide Star has a dynamic and cutting-edge hard rock sound, mixing the familiar with the new while delivering a heavy bite with catchy ear-splitting melodies.
Having played in multiple bands and recording acts as well as touring through Canada and parts of the U.S. Suicide Star are no strangers to success. Aki and Brian are ex members of long-time recording act, Step Echo, who's two studio albums gained considerable popularity in their native Canada and overseas. Gary Borden has had prolific success playing as a member of such bands as Sass Jordan, Helix and Gowan.
Dakota Prince, also familiar with the spotlight has shared the stage with such bands as George Canyon, Big Sugar and Headley while having his music played country wide on such stations as 97.7 HTZ FM and 91.3 FM.
When Step Echo split in late 2018 Brian and Aki felt they still had some music left in them to write and after a brief hiatus, decided the time was right for something new.
In early 2020, excited about the prospect of a fresh start, the band needed a new lead vocalist. Founding member and drummer of Step Echo, Brian Hamilton, reached out to high school friend, Rob Barton--himself a veteran of the Ontario music scene who played alongside bands such as Collective Soul, Lee Aaron and Killer Dwarfs--asking if he would be interested in providing lead vocals for a new project. Realizing he was enthusiastic to write and record again, Rob readily agreed. After a successful meeting with the guys over a few drinks on a local patio, Suicide Star was formed.
A year in the making and recorded individually in their own homes, Suicide Star's debut album—aptly named Isolation—is a labor of love. It defies conventional categorization, while delivering a bombastic thrill ride most listeners would find pleasingly recognizable.
With the recent release of their new single ‘Auntie Anxiety’ as a precursor to their second album entitled ‘Generation Doom’, Suicide Star will continue to bring their hard-hitting sound to stages throughout Ontario and beyond.

THE DAGG SESSIONSKen Tizzard and Music For Goats In St.John’s in 1982 I cut my teeth playing bass with local skate/punk bands who wholeheartedly embraced the DIY model of the punk rock culture. SNFU were the first band I had ever seen who had taken this model to a national level and upon seeing the energy and intensity of the performance I knew - this was what I wanted to do with my life.
At 18 I relocated to Toronto and landed a job at Music Express Magazine which let to the position of photo editor where I got to work with legendary photographers Floria Sigusmondi, Herb Ritts and Annie Leibovitz shooting bands like David Bowie, REM and U2 as well as hundreds of touring band around the world. This introduction to the music business, record companies, PR agencies and band management helped me to understand the relationship of band and audience from the viewpoint of the ‘machine.’
As well, sharing office space with Management Trust (Jake Gold) led me to an audition with The Watchmen. In turn this changed my life direction for over a decade as I toured the world and grew as a songwriter and artist. In 1999 I began working a lot with Big Wreck singer Ian Thornley who at the time was married to my sister Christine. Big Wreck and The Watchmen were in between albums and both bands were feeling the weight of years of touring and the change in the record companies as we moved into the digital age. Ian and I decided to form a new band which led to the creation of Thornley with whom I toured relentlessly for many years. Towards the end of Thornley, Ian had decided to recreate the magic that was Big Wreck and again I toured with the band under that name as I began parting ways with the lifestyle and direction of the band.
Upon leaving Thornley, there was a period of return to DIY with independent records which captured my solid endeavours - from six string bass singer songwriter (Quest Storey house) through several incarnations of bands including Bad Intent, The Variety Show Players and in 2017 the unlikely local crew which has grown to become Music For Goats.
As well, the development of The Whiskey Wednesday Show created a need for a production studio which we also created in our home. The Show has grown into a seven camera, 24 channel audio, weekly livestream hosting guests from Rick Mercer, William Prince and Joey ‘Shithead” Keithley (D.O.A.) to Matt Mays and Bob Izumi. Songs and stories every week with your host Ken Tizzard and Music For Goats.
It is now January 2024 and I am once again looking to release another album of original music with the current line-up of Music For Goats; Neil Lucy (guitar) Ken Grant (bass) and Dave Lawrence (drums) and Steve Dagg (RIP - drums). This album titled “THE DAGG SESSIONS” celebrates the songs created before drummer Steve Dagg was diagnosed with Cancer. After a year long battle of treatments Steve passed away in the winter of 2023. We had recorded the drums for the entire record in September before Steve’s illness was terminal.
The Dagg Sessions is available on all platforms on April 30, 2024 The Dagg Sessions will be available on vinyl thanks to contributors who purchased sections of the back album cover in order to help out with up front costs. Yes, we are sell outs… As for style of this record, I have to say it fits in with the Americana genre pretty well as if combines folk, country, rock and pop into a collection of songs that once again document a time and place in my own personal history.

“All Figured Out” - Single Bio
Drew Cagle & The Reputation is a High Energy, No Apologies, National Touring Rock band from Central Illinois. The band got its name “The Reputation” after Cagle decided to lean into the considerable ridicule he received in the beginning while attempting to perform his original music in a market primarily dominated by cover bands. Driven by his passion for authentic original expression, Cagle set his sights on the surrounding major cities in the Midwest and across the US determined to show the world that greatest rock songs haven’t already been written…After 3 years, Drew Cagle & The Reputation return with a vengeance with the release of their new single “All Figured Out”. Their new song takes dead aim at the naysayers who doubted Cagle’s artistic vision, calling out the hypocrisy rooted in premature judgements of others in an epic rock n roll fashion. With a unique style of boisterous rock’n roll that combines passionate modern songwriting with the bold sound & swagger of the hard rock superstars from the 80’s, DC&R manages to encapsulate the classic “chip on your shoulder” aggression and natural danger that rock n roll has been missing in recent years. “All Figured Out” clings to the feeling of being counted out and with a rebellious spirit, aims to inspire the listener to prove their own opposition wrong. “All Figured Out” was recorded in Nashville, TN with an A-List Cast of Grammy Award winning studio musicians, engineers, and producers. Produced, Recorded, & Mixed By: Matt Coles (Eagles, Alice Cooper)Mastered By: True East Mastering (Alabama, Robert Plant)Featuring: Drew Cagle - Vocals Shannon Forrest (Toto) - Drums Sol Philcox-Littlefield (Luke Combs) - Guitar Sam Hunter (Willie Nelson) - Guitar Craig Young (Elton John) – Bass

Former TESLA drummer Troy Lucchetta has teamed up with RIZZ & The Believerz ! Brand new single is out called "Don't Stop Tryin"
RIZZ & THE BELIEVERZ is a movement, a philosophy, and a beacon of positivity in the world of music…and their official introduction begins today with the release of their first-ever single and video, “Don’t Stop Tryin’,’ which was written to spark this movement.
As founding drummer (formerly of Tesla) Troy Luccketta concludes: “I feel that all of the projects I’ve been a part of and the things I’ve done throughout my career have all led me to this moment, and I couldn’t be happier.”
They’ve been racking up the sales and accolades since 1983, HONEYMOON SUITE has moved over 1 million records worldwide and won the JUNO Award for Group of the Year in 1986. The band has many songs placed in major motion pictures and TV over the years such as the hugely successful Miami Vice TV series of the mid 80’s. In 2015, they were honored by Canadian radio for passing 100,000 plays of “New Girl Now” along with three of their other hits: “Burning In Love,” “Wave Babies” and “What Does It Take.”
Following up on the 2022 deluxe reissue of their classic Clifton Hill album, and 2017’s Hands UpEP, Alive is their first full length in 16 years. Their last single, 2020’s “Find What You’re Looking For,” hurtled the group back into the Billboard Top 30 in their native Canada for the first time in nearly two decades and the material on Alive seems destined to follow suit. Produced by Canadian hit machine Mike (K) Krompass (whose résumé includes songwriting and production work for Meghan Trainor, Steven Tyler, Theory of a Deadman and Smash Mouth), the album is 10 new tracks of sonic heaven.
Both CD and colored vinyl are rounded out by fresh reproductions and modernized remixes of two big hits from the group’s thick catalog: 1988’s “Love Changes Everything” and 1983’s “New Girl Now,” which became their first radio and MTV smash after winning a homegrown-music competition sponsored by Toronto rock station Q107. The Canadian CD release also includes two exclusive acoustic versions of “Alive” and “Doesn’t Feel Like That” as bonus tracks. Signed copies of Alive are available exclusively through their webstore.

Although now, we’re spoiled, and we want to carry the orchestra with us everywhere we go!!” - Jack Blades
“Playing the show with the Cleveland CYO and being able to record It was an incredible and unique experience. To have younger musicians not only embrace but enjoy playing our music was a new high for us as a band. Upon meeting Singer-Songwriter, Jessica Pearson , you are sure to feel the warmth she so effortlessly conveys. There is a grounded current of energy that runs through Jessica's music. Her soul-stirring melodies and gorgeous modern folk-country arrangements, will move you to see fields of heather on a foggy day. She is the sunlight that leaks through your windows, and the laugh that brightly echoes through your day.
Her love for storytelling, drawing on folk, outlaw country, and Celtic traditions, is evident in her songwriting. The stories she tells are like lovingly-sewn patchwork quilts, stitched together by soul-stirring melodies and gorgeous modern folk-country arrangements. They are the quilts you spread out under the stars, and the ones you wrap yourself in all winter long. These stories, with their frayed edges, become more beautiful the longer you sit with them.
In 2021, Pearson received the Folk Music Ontario ‘ Songs from the Heart ’ award for her song Ready My Heart. She was also selected for Global Music Match, a program created to connect artists internationally on social media platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jessica Pearson & the East Wind was also nominated for ‘ Group of the Year ’ at the 2021 Capital Music Awards and nominated for ‘ Album of the Year ’ at the 2022 and 2023 Faces Awards. I won Diamonds in the Rough Showcase performance at the Canadian Country Music Awards 2023.
Her long-awaited debut album On the Line was released in January 2022 through Willow Sound Records , to a sold-out crowd and her new single “Row ” comes out on June 30th, 2023.

Combine high energy country rock with classic country standards and you have the ingredients for a potent four-piece ensemble from Southern Ontario named Johnson’s Creek.
Featuring Glenn Code (lead vocals/guitars), Michael Lanteigne (lead guitar/backing vocals), Mike Crombez (bass guitar/backing vocals) and Jake Adams (drums/backing vocals), Johnson’s Creek have been building a strong reputation for themselves since arriving on the scene in the summer of 2017 with the release of their debut single “Ocean Fantasy”.
Since that point, Johnson’s Creek released a self-titled, six-single EP in the Fall of 2019 which triggered strong airplay for their anthemic single
"I Like It Dirty” which earned them key bookings with major concerts such as the Stars And Thunder Festival in Timmins, Mattawa Voyageur Days, back to back years at Rogers Hometown Hockey and numerous gigs throughout Northern and Southern Ontario.
2022 proved big for the band with the release of 2 singles, “Burn It Up” and “Tell Me Something Good” and notching 40+ performances throughout Canada including dates at the famed Cavendish Beach Music Festival in PEI, the Winkler Harvest Festival in Manitoba, 4 dates at The Canadian National Exhibition and a headlining spot Toronto’s Legendary Horseshoe Tavern.
Whether it’s projecting their high-energy Redneck Rock n Roll, inspired by the likes of The Road Hammers and The Georgia Satellites or more classic standards influenced by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams, Johnson’s Creek has the unique ability to appeal to a wide variety of country music demographics.
Award-Winning Canadian Country singer/songwriter Alexis Taylor is just getting started. The Canadian singer and songwriter was born and raised in the small town of Huntsville, Ontario. From a young age, Alexis’ powerhouse vocals combined with emotional lyrics showcased her creativity and love for music in every song. From sharing the stage with The Marshall Tucker Band , Love and Theft , Meghan Patrick and Doug Seegers , triple threat artist/singer/songwriter, Alexis Taylor has quickly established herself as one of country music’s rising stars. Following the release of her first single in 2018, Alexis has appeared live on numerous radio stations and tv stations throughout North America. She has been a part of events such as Canadian Music Week in Toronto, CMA Fest in Nashville, and has performed at the USO Northwest Gala in both 2018 and 2019. The release of her first single also lead to Alexis winning Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2018 Tennessee Music Awards , and would be the first of many nominations and awards to be won in Alexis' career. At the beginning of 2022, Alexis reached #36 on the Sirius XM CBC Country radio charts with her release "Long Way From Home" - A story of Alexis' journey in the music industry. However, Alexis' newest release "Let Me Leave" which was produced by Taylor Carroll (drummer for American rock band LIT), and vocals recorded by Dave Aude (known for more number ones than any other producer on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart) is sure to be an even bigger success. With big plans to get back into the studio before 2023, there is no telling what accomplishments this Nashville girl will see in the year ahead.

James Downham's latest track, "Wine & Whiskey" isn't a country drinking song. Rather, this song is about having someone in your life who can do more for you than wine or whiskey ever could. After a hard day, they're the first person you want to see and the first person you want to talk to. "You can wash away any kind of pain. You're my remedy. You're my wine and whiskey."
"Wine & Whiskey" is the latest release from Downham's debut full-length album, "The Long Way Home." The track features an all-star cast of musicians, including 2022 CCMA Award Winner Mitch Jay (Steel Guitar Player of the Year, Specialty Instrument Player of the Year) and 2022 CCMA Award Nominees Mark Rynkun (Bass Player of the Year) and Rich DaSilva (Drummer of the Year).
Raised in small town rural Ontario, Downham called Pembroke and Picton home before settling in Southwestern Ontario. He lives in Stratford, with his wife, Ange.
Earlier releases from the album included 2022's radio releases "One Mile at a Time" and "Raised On", as well as critically acclaimed 2021 single, "We're Okay", a powerful duet with country newcomer, Amanda Kind.
Downham was winner of Season 2 of The Shot, and was recently selected from thousands of applicants as one of only 14 artists to participate in The Shot: Canada vs. USA. Touted as "North America's most intense virtual songwriting competition." He spent over a decade performing in a Tim McGraw tribute act before turning his attention back to original music.

Sabrina and Dave from Rosewood Ave stopped by Country89 to discuss GOOD OLE DAYS, the duo's latest radio single. We talk about the creation of the song and what's coming up in 2023.
Rooted deep in the true north of Ontario, country duo Rosewood Ave take small town dreams to the next level. It wasn't long until they fell in love and these high school sweethearts began the journey of a lifetime as husband and wife country duo Rosewood Ave.
With the change to live music due to the pandemic, the duo began doing live streams every Saturday and even got featured on Country Rebel which brought up their video numbers to an impressive 3 million views. Since being released on December 23, Shot of Jack Daniels is at over 5200 streams on Spotify alone and are hoping to build on that momentum. It's a very radio friendly song with a catchy hook to sing along to. We have already been added to Country 103 CHAW in Little Current, Hit Country 95.7 (and affiliates in Quebec), CJCI Country97 FM (and affiliates) in Prince George, and several community stations throughout the province. We were the featured artist of the week last week on True North Country, and have a front-page feature on Front Porch Music. We also just charted on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown chart.
(Los Angeles, CA) Desert Dragon is set to release their new album, This Side of Heaven on all digital and retail platforms on November 11. The band’s first release with vocalist Keith St. John. Making up the rest of the band is Greg Patnode and Brent Barker on guitar, Rick Brandt on bass, Lenny Roberto on drums, and Michael Smith on keyboards. “We decided to go a little heavier on this album to get a little more energy,” says Patnode.
Desert Dragon vocalist St John is well known in the rock world for his time in Montrose, Lynch Mob, and currently, Kingdom Come, Burning Rain, and the Raiding the Rock Vaultproduction on the Las Vegas strip. St John cowrote and coproduced the This Side of Heavenalbum with Patnode and Smith and considers this record to be “au natural and straight from the heart.”
The band has been making a name for themselves with their multi-rock sound which includes a mix of classic rock, blues rock, country rock, and progressive rock. This Side of Heaven features ten new songs that highlight a different side of the band’s talents on every track, while they salute good old fashion rock. On the album violinist Adel Eskander (Page and Plant No Quarter Tour) lends his talents to the song “Southside Of Heaven”.
A big man with a big voice. This is Coty Robinson and he is aiming to be a household name. A native of Dorchester, Ontario, Robinson is no stranger to a microphone. Having an opportunity to be one of the home game in-house announcers for the London Knights gave him valuable experience winning over a crowd.
With the loss of his mother at a young age, Robinson dived headfirst into music as a way to cope with the pain and heartbreak. For Coty, connecting with music was a way to express his own experiences, struggles, and emotions and to honour his mother's memory. Johnny Cash , Eric Church , Lee Brice , and Luke Combs have all influenced Coty’s sound and songwriting. When he was unable to find the words to say, a song always could.
In 2019, after challenging Brett Kissel to a game of backstage beer-pong on Twitter, Kissel accepting, and a triumph over the country star backstage, Coty was egged on to sing in front of Kissel by some friends. Kissel joined in, and eventually, Coty sang an acapella verse and chorus of a Luke Combs hit for Kissel. Brett was blown away by not only what he heard, but also Coty's overall presence. Being a fan of country music first, Coty’s biggest aspiration is to bring the joy of connecting with fans through music, and song, and being able to share the experience with others, at any level possible.
Coty lives to perform. His live show is electrifying and wins over new fans immediately through his heartfelt human connection. Coty is set to release his debut release in 2023. He has been recording at OCL Studios in Chestermere, Alberta with Juno-award winning and four time CCMA guitar player of the year, Matty McKay .
The debut release features songs that Coty has co-written about life, love, loyalty, friendship, and small-town living. Whoever She Was
is the latest single that is available on your favourite digital provider. Inspired by an incident that happened to Coty, Jason Blaine and Ben Chase wrote the song. Check it out and you too will become a fan of Coty Robinson.
With country music being “the air they breathe”, “the food they eat” and the “song in their hearts”, Banned & Outlawed ’s authentic, down-home ode to the Country genre, fits them better than a well-worn Stetson. And it’s winning Country music Hearts.
“Three chords and the truth”
That’s they say country music is built on… and for their multi-award nominated Hazelridge, MB, Canadian brothers that sentiment is absolute fact as they continue to deliver their brand of blue collar, true country music as a way of life. Brothers Jon (guitar and vocals) and Daniel Hnatishin (drums and vocals), were raised on hard work, the outdoors, and music- on a 100- acre farm just east of Winnipeg, Canada.
Over the last year, through commitment and dedication, they have built a genuine and effective brand and have been recognized by studios in Nashville, venues in Alberta, and radio stations across Canada.

A small-town girl of Métis descent with a big voice and an even bigger message — there’s no better way to describe the power of BC-born producer/singer/songwriter Teigen Gayse.
She picked up her first guitar at the age of 13. It wasn’t long before song-writing became a passion. It was the ability to tell her own story, in her own words, that began Teigen’s love for country music. That desire to create pushed her to get an audio engineering degree before striking out on her own as a full-time musician.
“I’ve always been fascinated with the writers — wanting to know who created the song,” she explained. “There is no better feeling than getting to perform something I wrote in front of my fans – it's the connection with them that pushes me to work hard.”
While her 2021 single I Don’t Wanna Fall In Love Anymore has almost 3 Million TikTok views. It took home the honour of Trending Track from Stingray Radio hitting #43 on the Billboard Country Music charts, and amassing over 350,000 streams. Ty Wilson has packed a lot of life experience into his young life thus far. Growing up in rural Ontario, music quickly became a life line for him. Ty’s Grandmother was a well-known Peterborough area country musician, opening for legends such as Johnny Cash in the early 60’s. She bought him his first guitar at 10 years old and he hasn’t slowed down since.
Since that time, Ty has worked on a number of musical projects. He signed his first record deal at 16 years old, his second at 22. Working with Canadian Pop heavyweights Vic Park Records, Ty’s debut solo ep “Degree’s of Separation” was released in 2014. He spent the next few years as a journeyman musician, cutting his teeth on stage at a number of bars and small clubs accross Canada. From the Opera House to busking on the streets of Victoria B.C. Ty has let his passion and love for music drive him.
Although it has been some time since his last studio release, Ty is ready to take his Alt-Country sound to the next level.

In 1977, Dale George Lytle and Dave Raudman united the musicians that would form ANGELES in Tujunga, Ca. Their first Hollywood gig was at the Troubadour where they sold out playing the midnight slot on a Sunday night. That paved the way to becoming one of LA's Largest Indie bands of the 80's. In 1980, Angeles headlined the Fall Rock Festival at Devonshire Downs, during the show Ron Bushy (original drummer of Iron Butterfly). In 1981, they co-headlined two concerts with Mötley Crüe at the Troubadour. In 1984, ANGELES signed to Mystic Records who released their debut album “We’re No Angels” and the title of that album was decided by Kevin DuBrow, then vocalist of Quiet Riot. That year, they also opened up for Bon Jovi at the Reseda Country Club.
Angeles has shared the stage with rock legends such as Mötley Crüe, Quiet Riot, Ratt, Ronnie James Dio, Bon Jovi, Michael Schenker, Dokken, Foghat, LA Guns, Jack Russell’s Great White, Angel, and Jefferson Starship at world-renowned venues such as the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, Devonshire Downs in Northridge, Reseda Country Club, The Roxy, and many more.
In 2014, Angeles received their first platinum record with 1 million copies of “We’re No Angels” sold worldwide.
As of 2018, Angeles have released eleven albums. In 2019 Angeles signed with Dark Star Records / SONY / Universal Music. In 2021, Angeles hit the Top 200 on the Billboard Radio Charts with their song “Heal The Wounds” reaching #22 for three weeks on the Rock Chart Indicator.
The band recently relocated from their home base of LA to Missouri.
My interview that aired live on Country 89.1 FM Saturday August 6th part of New Canadian Country about like latest single "I THINK HE KNEW" . The song has a sad story and Chad turned it into this great new song
Last Words presented itself when singer, Jeff Buehner was experimenting with an open tuning on an acoustic guitar, the same as The Rain Song by Led Zepplin. The pre-chorus, “Coins in my eyes, what will my last words be?”, fell into his lap both lyrically and melodically almost instantly. It was such an inspiring thought that the song demanded to be finished. Guitarist Brandon Cook latched onto the idea and composed the intro, middle, and outro.
Darren Gusnowsky and Rob Shapiro formed over a decade writing songs and performing together and were the driving force behind HEY ROMEO. Since leaving that band they formed JayWalker. New Single is called "Beers"

Thommy Price was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
By the tender age of 16, he had already hit the road playing drums in rock bands … and he hasn’t stopped since. Schooled on “early blue-eyed soul” like The Dave Clarke 5 and The Young Rascals, he found his chops playing along with his older brother’s 45’s of drum heavy songs like “Bits and Pieces” and “Glad All Over”.
He has spent his life on the road and in the studio, and along the way has become one of the most well-known and highly sought-after skin bashers in the business. His style is unique in that he has a sound completely his own, and his talent is impossible to overlook, but he stays solid and in the pocket without the flash and distractions of most well-known drummers.
He can provide the fireworks without losing his place as the most rock-solid backbone around.

Rob's musical journey began at an early age in a small town outside of Buffalo, NY. Starting out in the cover scene, Rob quickly developed an appreciation for a solid back beat and playing for the song. An approach to drumming that he still considers the foundation for his style today.
Later settling in Atlanta, GA, Rob's drumming quickly gained attention in the rock underground. Rob spent many years touring and recording with Atlanta rockers "Rockets to Ruin" and toured with "Gunfire 76" featuring "Murderdolls" frontman Wednesday 13. Rob also maintains a busy schedule of recording and working with many different bands and artists throughout the country.
In April, 2010, Rob was offered the drum position in the multi-platinum selling rock band Skid Row. When asked about his new gig Hammersmith answered "Having always been a fan, it is an honor to be asked to join the band. The band's music and history holds a special place in both my life, and the lives of so many loyal fans. To be a part of that history is the chance of a lifetime."

Jeff was born in Southern Ontario, currently resides near Toronto. He has released a brand new single "Home's the only Place" about his home town of Niagara Falls. This interview was featured on Country 89.1FM for New Canadian Country.
Austin Mo is an amazing young guitarist who is rapidly honing his songwriting skills. Known primarily around Sacramento as a young blues prodigy guitarist, I started working with Austin Mo cowriting songs a few years ago and our first collaboration was a song called “The River”, which received a lot of positive feedback along with the video. My goal as a mentor to the young artists I work with is to teach them the value of writing songs from the heart and it is very rewarding to hear a young artist grow in that area of expression. This new single “I’m Wanted” Shows Austin’s growth as a songwriter into a harder rocking edge, and expresses emotion of frustration along with a fun twist toward the perils of “making it” in the music biz. Besides the song’s fun vocal stylings, Austin’s funky rhythms and blistering guitar work are enough to tickle the eardrums of the most critical music snob. Enjoy this new song and music video. -Frank Hannon

Damon Johnson has been a triple threat…guitarist, singer, songwriter…since his early days fronting Brother Cane and scoring three #1 singles at rock radio in the 90s (“Got No Shame”, “And Fools Shine On”, and “I Lie In The Bed I Make”). With that band, he honed his craft with relentless touring and support slots with the likes of Van Halen, Aerosmith and Robert Plant. Since then Johnson has co-written songs for Stevie Nicks, Carlos Santana, Steven Tyler, and Sammy Hagar. After a short stint working with British vocalist John Waite, Johnson toured the world for several years as guitarist for Alice Cooper and in 2011 he joined legendary Irish rock group, Thin Lizzy. In 2013 the core of that band morphed into a new group, Black Star Riders, and released three well-received albums. May the 1st will see the release of "Second Time Around", the new album from MIKE TRAMP. And while the ex-White Lion and Freak of Nature frontman is no rookie to releases in his own name, this time he does so with a special feeling. "I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been asked. That if I could do it all over again, what would I change? It’s a tricky question and for an artist, sometimes an unfair one", he says. "Because when we looked back, hindsight is always 20/20 and we know it all, and familiar with the Monday morning quarterback scenario, where everyone knows where he should have thrown the ball or kicked it.
What the hell did I know when I walked into the recording studio the first time in 1976 to record my first album? The answer is nothing, and I can honestly admit, it didn’t really change 10 years or 20 years later on. With every album I recorded or every tour I finished I always came home with so much more knowledge than when I started it, and always wished I’d known it all at the beginning". "I am proud of these songs. They are like my other albums and 100% representation of who Mike Tramp is. If aliens came down to earth and happened to pick up “Second Time Around” as the first Mike Tramp album they heard, I would be truly proud and confident that all of my DNA, would be in this album".
"Second Time Around" will be released May 1st 2020 worldwide through Target Records containing ten songs (including the first single "The Road", which the official video can be seen below). The words and music were written by Mike Tramp and the album was produced by Soren Andersen & Mike Tramp. Mixing done by Peter Mannson, Mir Studio, Stockholm, Sweden. Mastering by Henrik West at Medley Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. Recordings were done by Soren Andersen, Medley Studio, Copenhagen, Denmark, with additional recording done by Mike Tramp many places & more.
All pre-orders will be personally signed by Mike Tramp. The album will be released in a LTD 500 copies only RED vinyl, black vinyl CD and digital. And special "Second Time Around" t-shirt in 100 copies only available at Targetshop.dk can be pre-ordered along with the album.
