The balance between urgent and important almost always sits on the side of urgent. At this time of staying home, online learning and social distancing suddenly we can flip our focus to the important. Get in front with content, work on some weaknesses, complete an assessment task well before its due date. And take care of ourselves.
Things are different in our schools due to the current health situation, what strategies can be put in place to adapt and achieve positive outcomes?
As assignment due dates and exam block approaches stress can impact on our lives. GBR works through the key issues of stress and provides strategies for managing the stress.
As students approach a major exam block we share strategies that will empower them to achieve positive outcomes and maintain a balance in their life.
Building on the last two weeks, the reflection on how well each day and the entire week went will allow the student to make adjustments to their magic 60 hours. The concept of T, T, L is introduced.
We work through the allocating of our commitments to a planner and how we can use proactive active reflection to continuously improve our practice.
In this first episode we focus on the initial step in the TASK program which is to gain an understanding of our current time commitments and how we can fit in all the things we need to do and want to do.
