DJ Mr.A

Helsinki DJ Mr.A has been at the epicenter of Finland ´s queer and gay club scene for over 2 decades: first and foremost as a DJ, later as a promoter, then as producer and a radio host.

His monthly radio-show "MILK" (which he hosts together with Janne X) on Ida Radio has successfully taken to the streets as a club night; regularly playing at the Helsinki hotspots such as Siltanen and Flow Festival.

At "REBELS", DJ´s and artists such as; Derrick Carter, Luke Solomon, Alinka, Hannah Holland, Roi Perez, Hifi Sean, Eli Escobar, Heidi, Jonjo Jury, Tom Peters and Josh Caffe have already performed to his extended family of dancers, prancers and lovers.

Mr.A strives his DJ sets to be biographical...by being a gently balanced but accurate cross-section of the old and the new. Still - always offering the dance floor a taste of today and tomorrow but never ever forgetting the roots and history of house, disco and techno.
