Each member is responsible for keeping themselves clean of false doctrine, for the failure of one might be the failure of the whole church, and maybe churches.

We compare the rain God sends and His grace, how they renew dead ground to produce fruit and restore the heart from drought. Grace is poured out in a church, but some have no fruit or a sweet savor of life. Grace produces good fruit and a sweet fragrance in those whose hearts it penetrates and changes.

Jesus, in Luke, quotes part of Isaiah 61-1-2, but leaves out the part about vengeance. The Jews missed it, and only looked for Messiah to appear once, and never seen a Second Coming.
