Jeremy Lane is a regular contributor to The Philly Soccer Page, and is described there in this way: “In high school, Jeremy was a half decent fullback. In college, he became a mediocre winger/striker. Since then, he’s actually gotten pretty good. Too bad he’s on the wrong side of 30. Jeremy writes about the U.S. Men’s National Team, among other things.”
Chris Gibbons is a two-time travel blog contributor to the Philly Soccer Page, but known more for his Valderrama-an playing style, in that he has the ability to grow more hair than all but the most dedicated of his opponents, and prides himself on a truly minimalist playing style (ie: where running is largely frowned upon).

Jeremy and Chris are back for their sixth season, unsure of what the Union might look like in 2019 and unsure as to whether or not the show can or should go on.
The All 3 Points podcast is back for it's 5th season. The Union have a #10 (maybe), an upgrade on the wing, and more kids than can possibly see the field in 2018. It's all happening!!
The Union open the 2015 campagin in an inauspicious manner, dropping points at home, giving away late phantom penalties, and playing consecutive games where a player has earned a straight red card. With consideration for your feelings, and the amount of crying that would likely have ensued, the All 3 Points podcast skipped a regularly scheduled broadcast as the Philadelphia Union season wound down. Instead, after a collapse so gut-wrenching, heart-breaking, and hyperbole-inducing as to be all but indescribeable, your diligent hosts returned only after the season ended in order to tie up loose ends, consider what was and could have been, and look into their murky crystal balls as to what might be to come. Happy Halloween, everyone!
In league draws with rival New York and perpetual thorn-in-the-side Houston, as well as a loss in the US Open Cup final against Seattle, the Union took a step back from their frantic run toward silverware. Meanwhile, there were Jim Curtin rumors, Amobi Okugo found himself on the bench, and MLS released a new logo. The A3P podcast returns!
The Union have a starting line up, a proper starting line up (an "11," if you will), for the first time this season. Perhaps not surprisingly, they also have a full nine points from their last three games, a record for the All 3 Points podcast. They also have a US Open Cup final and a potential head coaching change on their near horizon (if rumors are to be believed). It's an exciting time to be a Union fan, and we're here with you to confirm your excitement. It's valid.
Back from vacation and an irregular match-length hiatus, the A3P gents cover, for the first time, a total of five games and five points. From how many goalies does it take to change a light bulb at the Stadium of Power and Light, to whether or not 8 out of 11 games at home to end a season is actually a positive, this pod is a chance to turn up your speakers, grab a glass of your favorite cold beverage, and enjoy!
The third coach in Union history begins to make his mark, with some impressive wins and one less-than-stellar collapse, and the World Cup is over... who has a hollow part of their soul that can only be filled by a Brazuca? We do.
After an unacceptable start to the 2014 season, the Union finally lowered the boom on head coach John Hackworth. They also played to a loss, win, and draw before the World Cup break. The A3P boys discuss all of that and more, including what to do when your girlfriend realizes how good looking Cristiano Ronaldo. The answer is never tell her. Enjoy, and Happy World Cup 2014!!
13 games in, 3 losses out of 4, and the All 3 Points gentlemen wanted to take it easy on you... have mercy, if you will. The U are in unexpected and uncharted territory 1/3 of the way through the season, and with only 3 games before the World Cup break, a lot is left to be desired.
Jeremy and Chris get back behind the microphones for the following points: talking about gardening and trees, Jeremy muffling a curse word, Chris singing all of the instruments to the theme song, and both men generally avoiding Union soccer talk for a solid hour or more. Really, for most Union fans, the story lines are starting to run together, the way that a poorly done water color always turns into a painting of brown. Today, we've audio-fied that brown painting for your listening pleasure.
Being a humble winner and learning how to deal nobly with defeat are acquired skills of maturity. In soccer, though, somtimes neither is an option. Union fans know all too well this conundrum, and the All Three Points lads sit down to talk draws, the trade of JackMac, and the brilliant play of Zack McMath.
In much the same style as the Viennese coffee houses popularized in the first half of the 1900s, the A3P men gathered around an old wooden table on a cold evening, with a warm beverage in hand, to discuss the comings and goings of their local soccer team. There was talk of a revamped midfield, a lack of goals (if not for lack of trying), and a young left-footed talent emerging in the stead of an old leader.... three games, four points, and an intriguing start, if ever there was one.
It's tough to argue with results, even when those results aren't wins, and no one except native Orlandians (Orlandonians? Orlandites?) saw the matches. Regardless, John Hackworth may have made the most significant statement of his professional head coaching tenure this offseason, and that in and of itself merits a new podcast. Enjoy!
