Siho Ellsmore came from a land down under some 20 years ago in search of acting dreams. She landed in New York and has since traveled to Junkertown, The World Of Darkness and The Metaworld with a few stops along the way to meet cavemen, dragons and Paul Hogan. Only one of those things didn't happen.
Siho chats with Evan about the upsides and downsides of being Australian in the American voice market, the prospects of returning as a school girl in a soap opera 30 years after the fact, and "dating" your agency, even though they don't even make your website for you. She also answers a musical question from Bill Butts with an obscure Meryl Streep reference.

Bill Butts was like a lot of teens discovering anime, although instead of just trying to mimic Goku's hair he decided to mimic the physique. Along the way he discovered acting and one fateful trip to an anime convention dubbing session and he was set on his path. Since then Bill has been in Bleach, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and My Hero Academia. Unfortunately there are almost no clips of his work on the Internet, so his performances remain a mystery unless you, you know, watch the shows for real. You can also find him in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners as Douglas...wait, there's no clips of that either? Who did Bill piss off?
Bill chats with Evan about being a gigantic nerd (in multiple senses), racial sensitivity in anime casting, the weirdest retake situation he's seen and sprinkling Wu-Tang into his performances. He also answers a question from J. Michael Collins about keeping clients happy.

Ok maybe not, but J. Michael Collins is all over the place within the commercial sphere, with a resume that includes Jack's Links, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Amazon, movie trailers and more, and that's just this month.
Nevertheless, he sits down to chat with Evan about being a verified human, how the life of Howard Stern just evaded him and why the kids are all right, voiceover skill-wise anyway. He also prognosticates about AI and local car dealerships, answers Amina Koroma's question about downtime, and explains why VO Atlanta wasn't called Votlanta. Ok he didn't answer that one because Evan didn't think of it at the time, but seriously, it's a great name.

With someone that does so much sound-alike work, it's hard to tell if we are actually interviewing the person or just a raft of celebs playing a prank.
What? It could happen!
It was everything Evan could do not to talk to Holly Fields just about Wishmaster, but he managed to find time to bring up Holly's work as vocal stunt doubling for people like Cameron Diaz on the various Shrek video games and other random bits as well as her original work as Nadia Grell in The Old Republic series. Holly also talks about working as a test voice in animation, how Molly Ringwald's sledding accident led her to acting, and the oddly-common path of child actor to voice actor.

Mara (not Mah-ra) Junot has been a shapeshifter for over a decade and as far as we can tell, has only used her powers for voice acting and not to, say, steal nuclear codes. Oh, a vocal shapeshifter. Never mind then.
Mz Junot has graced such small indie titles like Fortnite, League Of Legends, Walking Dead, and World Of Warcraft before taking the role of Storm in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. She chats with Evan about her partner's equipment, the difference between Target and Target and how working triple shifts at a radio station in Louisiana led her to sunny shores of voice acting almost stardom.

Jared Butler is a writer, a Wasteland Warrior, and a street judge, but most importantly for this show he's also a voice actor known as the current reigning Jack Sparrow. I think he won it in some sort of sword fighting contest, and now he has to look over his shoulder all the time.
Jared talks about working with Blood Money, being bound by the actions of a rich weirdo he has never met, and the loyalty shown to Disney folks. He also expounds on his Depp-th (get it?) as Sparrow in both Kingdom Hearts 3 and on screen as well as other roles like Rango, Alice In Wonderland, and Tonto. If they ever do a Crybaby video game, we'll know who gets the call.

You always remember your first Simpson.
Yeardley Smith was a relatively little known actress before she decided to take a job voicing an 8 year old girl in one-minute animated shorts. Nearly 30 years later, she's one of the most well known voice actresses on the planet which means she's somewhere in the top 50,000 most famous actors ever.
Yeardley talks with Evan about starting out working in films like The Legend Of Billie Jean and Maximum Overdrive and how the character of Lisa Simpson has evolved from those shorts to a more well-rounded (and well-loved) character. She also talks about working within the confines of having a distinctive voice and her latest project, Small Town Dicks, the true crime podcast that isn't funny but you can at least google it at work.

Michael Gough isn't a relation of the one-eared master (that we know of) but he has played a master of ninjitsu, a master of Horadric lore, and a master of the gopheric arts, to name but a few of his well over 200 roles to date. He finds some time driving in between his various masteries to chat with Evan about being a Disney crash test dummy, being a vocal pinch hitter and what it's like to go from working on a small educational title to being the Connery-esque mascot of the one of the most popular gaming franchises in history.
Also he talks about playing the theremin. How cool is that?

This episodes finally sees one of the inspirations for this show come to chat. The legendary Rob Paulsen has voice ninja turtles, platypii, biker mice and whatever the heck a Warner is. Plus 200 or so other roles. Give or take.
Rob talks about his voice actor show Talkin' Toons, his live shows with Randy Riggle and his fellow Animaniacs and his throat cancer diagnosis (and victory). Evan also gets him to expound on the Tazmaniacs, the shows he was sad didn't take off and what it's like to move to more directing and show pitching.
Kind of appropriate that this episode gets released the same day that new Animaniacs episodes are announced, don't you think? Which means Rob was kept in the dark most of the time or, like most voice actors, is an incredible and shameless liar.

Roger talks with Evan about how having a library of character references available can be essential to voice actors, the time he replaced Liam Neeson and Mr. Taken returned the favor, and what Neve Campbell thinks about him. He also talks about his upcoming live reading of Stampanato in San Francisco and his very upcoming appearance at the Reno Comic Con. Hopefully we'll get him on after his future Dubai-Con.
