Afternoon y’all. Here are the announcements for this incoming week – Week 8Small groups –Unless you’ve been told otherwise, small groups are on as usual this week. There more than likely will be no Wednesday night small group due to the CU formal.Prayer meeting –Tuesday morning @ 8am in the Chaplaincy (5F01). Yes it is early, but prayer is a great way to start the day and breakfast of sorts is provided. It would be great to see you there.i-café –If you aren’t going to the CU formal it would be great if you could go along to i-café @ 7.30pm in the staff common room. This is a great way to reach out to the international students in Jordanstown telling them about God and what he has done and can do for us.UUJCU vs. QUBCU Annual Rugby match –Its that time of the year again folks for the annual CU rugby match!! So come along down and bring others to Cherryvale playing fields for a super match between the biggest rivals in sporting history! Time confirmed for 3pm kick off! Invite others!CU Thursday Night Meeting –This week ‘Tell It In Colour’ are taking our meeting. As usual the meeting will be starting at 7.30pm and will be held up in the Students Union. Bring your friends and your classmates and please try to arrive on time/early.CUAC -If you’re heading to CUAC and need a lift or have an extra space in your car, let us know so that everyone has a way of getting down – There was meant to be a brief meeting about this on Thursday past, but it unfortunately didn’t happen (sorry about that).UUJCU Mission Team –Where? Good afternoon folks. Thank you to everyone who helped out with last week’s events. Souls were saved and fun was had. Lets keep praying that seeds will have been planted in people and that more people will come to Christ as a result of the events last week.Here are the announcements for this week:CU Formal -Can anyone who is going to the formal and hasn’t paid the full amount of money for their ticket please bring the remaining amount to CU on Thursday as the full amount has to be paid to the Dunadry by Friday at the very latest! If you're not going to be at CU this week please arrange for someone else to give in your money for you or somehow get it to Lydia Morrell before then! It promises to be a great weekend of teachings and banter with students from other CU's around Ireland. It would be great to see you there.

Guys the night is upon us... Events week starts tomorrow (Monday)! Lets be Jesus' hands and feet and go into UUJ showing God's love! It all starts tomorrow with text a treat! Meeting at 10:30am on the Mezzanine, BE THERE! If our God is for us then who can stand against us?!Below is a detailed list of what is going to be going on through the week. If at any stage during the week you aren’t up to much, then please do come along and help out at the events.

Breakfast is provided.On week 4 we are having a special night on the Monday (18th) at 10pm. 2 volunteers are coming from 'Freedom Project Ireland' (an organisation which aims to raise awareness and help and rescue people caught up in human trafficking here) and afterwards there will be a time of prayer for the work of the organisation. Good evening one and indeed all. Week 7 is finally upon us. Scary how quick the year has gone. Anyhow, here are the announcements for weeks 7 and 8.
Week 7 - This Week:Small groups as usual Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday eveningsI-cafe on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the Staff Common Room. This week they are doing a photo challenge as well as a Bible study and it would be great if you could make it along and lend a hand.Thursday night meeting - As usual we have our Thursday night meeting in the Students Union @ 7.30pm. This week is MAP night and our speaker for the evening is Rick Hill. For those of you who don't know, MAP stands for Mission Agencies Partnership (http://www.mapmission.org/). It will be a great way to find out about some of the different mission work you can get involved in, whether it be short or long term.Week 8 - Next Week:Small groups as usual Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday eveningsPrayer Meeting - The week 8 prayer meeting is 24hr prayer running from midnight on Monday night through to midnight Tuesday night. We hope to have this in the Prayer Room in room 1D05. We shall be confirming the location this week (week 7) and will post on the CU Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/uujtowncu) where it'll be. As a result there will be no Tuesday Morning prayer meeting in the chaplaincy. Sign-up sheets will hopefully be available this week at the CU meeting.I-cafe on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in the Staff Common Room. A night of chilling out with the internationals. It would be great if you could get along and hang out with the internationals and share the love of God with them.Thursday night meeting - As usual our meeting will be on Thursday in the Students Union at 7.30pm.
