Back on September 15th Protesters demanding government action on home insulation blocked four junctions of the M25, leading to dozens of arrests during Monday's morning commute.
Activists from Insulate Britain sat on the road holding banners at several junctions on the UK's busiest motorway.
The diversions and road closures caused traffic chaos as people tried to get to work during rush hour. National Highways said there was disruption at Junction 3 for Swanley in Kent, Junction 6 for Godstone in Surrey, Junction 14 for Heathrow Terminal 5, Junction 20 for Kings Langley in Hertfordshire, and Junction 31 for Purfleet in Essex.
Police forces from across the South East were called to deal with the disruption, and at least 74 arrests were made.

A former Conservative Party councillor has said he will not apologise after replying to a union email about school meals with the phrase “if you can't feed, don’t breed”.
Roger Taylor, now an independent councillor on Calderdale Council in West Yorkshire, sent the reply to a newsletter from the public services union Unison, which contained a request to help save the school meals service.
Mr Taylor – expelled from the Tory party last year following an Islamophobia investigation – said he believed it was up to parents to feed their children during the holidays.
“Many of these so-called impoverished children have smart phones,” the councillor claimed.
Unison, which had referenced the recent campaign by Manchester United star Marcus Rashford to tackle child food poverty, said it was “beyond belief that someone could show so little compassion”.

A man who attempted to rip a large cross from the roof of an east London church has been arrested by police.
Footage posted on social media appears to show a man repeatedly trying to pull a wooden cross from its base above the entrance to Chadwell Heath Baptist Church in Romford.
With the hood of a coat placed over the cross the man can be seen using all his force to release the cross from the roof of the church.

As I said. After watching US Vice First Presidential Debate 2020. Pence was cool, calm and collected. Harris seemed like she was attempting to perform before a jury. She tried deflecting and redirecting the convo back to the well-worn anti-Trumpisms, but Pence never took the bait. My personal opinion Mike Pence was a total class act, and Kamala didn’t have a clue. Again, moderator didn't hit the Democratic Party's candidate with ANY tough questions. I didn’t think Kamala could be more unlikeable…until tonight. Best quote of the night Vice President Mike Pence "Your entitled to your own opinion, not to your own facts!" Simply great!

As I said after watching US First Presidential Debate 2020. I genuinely can't believe anyone watching thinks Biden is capable of running a cake stand let alone America. Moreover, Chris Wallace posed questions to Trump aimed at cornering him while posing questions to Biden giving him a chance to explain himself. It was two against one, but one still prevailed. Also, Wallace is a respected journalist and I expected more out of him. He was not fair with both men and should have never added in his personal opinion. Swansea University has plans to keep students safe in "bubbles" among flatmates.

The government has said it will ban junk food adverts before 9pm and launch a short consultation on whether that should be extended to a blanket ban on adverts for sweets and fast food online. Junk food adverts could be banned entirely online, after the government’s decision to bar any unhealthy food advertising before 9pm online or on television, as part of its strategy to tackle the “time bomb” of obesity.

Disc parking is a system of allowing time-restricted free parking through display of a parking disc or clock disc showing the time at which the vehicle was parked. A patrolling parking attendant can inspect the disc to check whether payment is owed. The system is common in Europe.
