Many of us in the coaching and online service industries see sales peaks typically in January or September. The summer months can feel uncertain, especially if your business doesn’t have recurring revenue. When I work with clients it's actually one of the first things we address when looking at their business strategy.

Recently, we had a big launch with nearly 988 sign-ups for our masterclass. However, our conversion rate was 20%, which is below industry standards.
I was disheartened - but, when I looked at the whole picture, the data told a different story.
Yes, the conversion rate for the masterclass was low, but our ad spend per lead was amazing, engagement was sky-high, I had more inquiries of people wanting to work with me than ever before.

Do you ever feel like Instagram isn’t giving back the love you put into it?
Last year, I saw my Instagram growth plateau. New followers came but as quick as someone had joined, someone else had left the building...
And the honest truth is for a moment there - because I’m human - I was a little disheartened.

What do you do when a client doesn’t pay?
I remember the first time I got my first default payment and it felt like the world erupted. The first time a client ghosted me, it completely broke me. And then, over time, I realised this was something I was going to have to learn to hold in my journey of entrepreneurship.
The honest truth is that everyone in business faces a client not paying, behaving badly, ghosting us (and our team), or in even more honesty, them simply not getting results from our services and wanting a refund.

The countdown is on till the end of the year and there’s a lot of stories in the online space right now that people aren’t buying, which I really want to share simply isn’t true.
What IS true is that buying behaviours have changed and the usual strategies that once worked, need some upgrades.
What we also know is that Q4 is actually a really good time to up your sales game. People generally spend more in this time period and whilst we won’t have the data until 2024, as a business owner why wouldn’t you go all in to end the year on a high. It’s time to unleash that entrepreneurial spirit.
In this episode, I’m sharing three strategies for how you can make more money online in Q4, with a focus on the sales strategies that are working right now.
The good thing is you can take these strategies and weave them into 2024 too; I predict these as trends for next year.
I share how right now is the perfect time to really focus on your overall sales strategy and all of the ways you can optimise it. The way we are able to do this and understanding exactly what we are selling, and why and how you can up your game in attracting and nurturing your audience.
I share why understanding the real problem and solution is key, how to incorporate upsells and downsells and also weaving in more additional personal touch points that we are seeing really working right now.
And I also dive deeper into some of the strategies I’ve used to have my best year yet in 2023.

I often use the term, 'what you focus on expands' and I've found myself explaining this with lots of new clients recently as we've had lots of new faces join my masterminds.

I often say that it's the small things we do daily that have the biggest impact. I truly believe that by nature, humans need routine - and I know this to be even more true for entrepreneurs who are building the capacity to hold more in their worlds.
It can also be super inspiring and interesting to hear the behind the scenes of what business owners do on a regular basis - from their daily rituals to the way they manage their calendars - in order to run their businesses efficiently and with ease. In this episode this is exactly what I'm sharing with you.
You'll have likely heard me share how important I believe consistency to be and I genuinely put a huge amount of how I've grown my business down to the consistency of some really things that I do daily.

The third in the series of celebrating some of the many incredible clients I get to work with, this episode introduces Naomi Dacosta, Design Recruiter & Founder of NDC Creative Recruitment.
I’ve worked with Naomi in shorter containers over the years and in March 2023 she committed to spending 6 whole months in Expand to 7, with a focus of really honing in on her thought leadership and specifically on the platform, LinkedIn.

I’ve just been on the biggest initiation of my life to date - a 3 week trip to Peru meeting the Qero Paqo Shamans - and so in this episode I wanted to give you the lowdown on what went down, how I’m feeling and what’s ahead after this epic journey of transformation.
In 2017 I went on my first training with Alberto Villoldo, Founder of the Four Winds Society, Shaman, psychologist and medical anthropologist who has studied the healing practices of the Amazon and the Andean shamans for many years.
Fast forward to 2020 and I started my own path on the Shamanic Medicine Wheel and since then have brought more and more of this work to life in my world of coaching.
In this episode I share more about the power of the Shamanic Medicine Wheel, my intentions and lessons from the trip, what it looked like facing my own fears and allowing my ego to die many deaths and the meaning behind being stung by a bee at the top of a mountain 4300 metres above sea level!

Without the context of HOW, there’s nothing helpful about sharing the numbers and as the online coaching industry grows and evolves, I personally feel I have a responsibility (and a desire!) to share more of the how with you, my beloved community.
With this in mind, I’m thrilled to share this episode with you, where I break down the behind the scenes of my recent 6 figure launch of my masterminds, along with the HOW I made it happen.
I break this episode down into the strategy, business model and my business values that led me to this result and the money aspect showing you how this revenue is broken down and used in the business.
I share what I was doing personally in my thinking, doing and BEing and the energetics piece and what this looked like to get this kind of result (spoiler, it wasn’t just what I did during the launch but what I have been mastering for years!) and of course, what my visibility strategy was both online AND offline, because in 2023, you need this kind of strategy.
There is no one quick fix or formula to building and scaling a business and whilst energetics is so important, it is the cherry on the cake. Building these kind of results don’t come from just ‘being in alignment’ or ‘being in the frequency of the reality you want to see’. Honestly, it takes having a rock-solid strategy, devotion and consistency, working on being both IN and ON your business and being really visible and solid in your offer, message and brand.

If you know me well enough, you know that visibility is my MO. With two decades of experience working in Communications for some of the worlds leading brands, I know how to get female entrepreneurs seen and heard. What I also know is that in 2023 - visibility and the way we need to be visible - is changing.
Visibility and the ability to be visible will be the thing that allows for ROI time and time again, which is why it’s such a core component of what I coach my clients on.
So, how is it changing?
Visibility is now both marketing AND sales. It’s not just visibility on the front end to the collective, it’s also how you’re being visible to each and every person in your world.
Anyone focusing on marketing without sales and sales without marketing might not get the results they desire right now because of how the industry is changing but this isn’t something to fear; it’s something to embrace!

As always there will be changes in the online landscape - just like there are changes in every industry. Trends come and go, we learn from them, we look at what’s working, we tweak or let go of what’s not and we keep moving forwards.

As a business owner there is no skill more important than resilience. The truth is business often feels dis-regulating; by nature it is - the uncertainty, the constant changes and unknown. After a really juicy conversation with my coach about what traits I think make myself and my mastermind clients successful*, I thought it would be a great share for you, my wonderful podcast audience!

How does the relationship between our nervous system and money impact us? Well, money is related to our survival needs and therefore our relationship to money is intricately connected to our nervous system and because of the complexity of being human, it can be intense to untangle.

I’m thrilled to bring you this episode of The Magnetic Woman podcast and what is the first of many where I interview my clients, showcasing their epic achievements and the journey that got them here - the ups, downs and everything in-between. Sophie Rowell is an Interior Designer, former Fashion Stylist and House & Garden Rising Star of 2022 who I’ve had the honour of knowing since 2020. Sophie brings a focus on sustainability - both practises and products - moving away from ‘out with the old and in with the new’ into recreating spaces and homes that have a uniqueness to them, through texture, pattern and restoration.
From burnout to breakthrough, Sophie took a huge leap moving from one career to another. She scaled her business exponentially in the first 6 months we worked together, much of which was during a global pandemic. How did she do it?
Her journey and success story focused on visibility and allowing herself to be seen, fine-tuning her message, finding a freedom in her relationship with money, creative visualisation and creating a new rhythm in line with how she desired to live and work.

The online space is becoming so full of quick fix promises of how to build a business and along with coaches sharing huge revenue figures without much insight into what has actually helped them achieve this, it can be a really confusing space to be in right now.

I’m always asked what got me to where I’m at in business and so when I took some time to reflect where I’ve been and where I am now, it was clear that there were hugely different pieces of the entrepreneurial puzzle activated at different stages of my business. The way we feel about ourselves and our body has a huge impact on how we show up online. It’s real, it’s a huge journey of healing and acceptance and it matters that we bring this conversation to the female entrepreneur table because I know from my own experience and the women I coach, that it affects our growth. This podcast episode the start of what I know is a big and complex topic and hopefully, one that will continue, even though I don’t believe there is one finite answer. In a world of opinion, various modalities to ‘heal’ and ways in which to self-develop, the online space can feel difficult to navigate…where does one start? There is of course no one-formula-fits-all but for us in a service based industry the answer isn’t in picking each others work apart. Do we need to simplify how we create content for ease of consumption? Possibly. Can we create a niche Yes. Will our work be for everyone? No. This podcast touches on humaness and how I believe the complexity of being human cannot possibly be explained through platforms such as Instagram. It’s up to us individually to take a stand for ourselves, trust ourselves and choose to take the online space as a dip of the toe into a world of complexity. I’d love to know what you think?

For February over on Instagram I’ve been holding a series called 21 Days of Liberation. After such a wild ride the past two years, there’s an energy in 2022 that feels like one of freedom. It’s not a new normal, it’s not total freedom but it’s a liberation from what was. And that right now feels big. As a feminine leader, The Age of Aquarius is taking me further from the structure of the masculine - less funnels and planning - and even deeper into frequency and being. This in itself is liberating. This episode explores how we liberate ourselves from other peoples formulas and into our own wisdom, building businesses from trust, intuition and what feels most alive. I also break down the idea of hierarchy and into the space of rising alongside each other; the feminine way. We think in order to be successful we have to be like someone else. We think we have to be more interesting, incredible, powerful. But let me tell you we become all of this on our way to success. We become more interesting, powerful, incredible along the way. This episode is your big yes to reclaim. No one else can do you. The time is now.

This episode comes from the back of a question I asked during my challenge week back in September; the question was 'What is the layer of truth you are yet to acknowledge, own and share with the world?'. The amount of women who confessed that they hid part of their spirituality for fear that people would think they were too 'woo' was outstanding to me. Because from what I know, trust and live is that when we are shutting off a part of ourselves and not being in our truth, we are missing so much magic. This episode is your permission slip to come back to your truth and your wholeness and show the world loud and proud that your woo is you magic. If you desire more in your business, you have to get comfortable with being in your truth - thinking it, saying it and being it and living it. So often in business the focus is on what we are building; the next strategy, the next launch, the next layer of expansion. But for me, the biggest and most surprising thing that took my business to the next level was actually the process of letting go of something and that was, resentment.
The idea that everyone must have it figured out, have a magic sauce that you don’t or that life and business is easier for them because of x, y or z (hello meaning making machine), is limiting us in business.
Why? Because although resentment is a valid feeling, it and anything in the realms of this - hello jealously and judgment- lead to a place of victimhood. And victimhood gets us nowhere…
Whenever we are putting attention of them and their success, wins or what they seemingly have that we don’t, we are giving them our power.
