https://capthatt.com/wp-content/uploads/How-to-iron-a-shirt-with-no-iron-new.mp3For me ironing falls into that place between rummaging through dirty laundry and vacuuming, it’s just not something I like doing. And I’ve got a sneaky feeling, if you’re reading this, you probably feel the same. Or, perhaps you just don’t have an iron handy.
Whatever the reason you want to go iron-free, I’ve got your back.
In this concise guide, I will show you how to iron a shirt without an iron. These are some handy tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way that should keep you looking dapper… minus the iron.
How To Iron A Shirt With No IronBelow you can find how to unwrinkle a shirt fast. All of them pretty nifty, and cost effective (for those of us on a budget). Try a few of them a week, and see which one suits your lifestyle the best.
Use a panThe pan has to be one of the oldest ways of ironing clothes without an iron – that’s because it works incredibly well! And while it still requires some effort, it’s minimal.
Take a common metal pot in which you would normally use to cook with.
Top tip: The bottom of the pan should be warm to hotish, but not scorching (for obvious reason). So, once the water is boiled, wait half a minute or so before ironing. This is a great hack to use when only parts of your shirt need ironing – like the sleeves, and you don’t want to drag out an iron.
Use Your MattressThis one is so easy, you can do it while sitting – literally. The mattress is one of the ways to iron without an iron that can be used with one shirt or many.
Take your crumpled shirt and roll it up like a burrito.
Top tip: Although not necessary, laying or sitting on your bed will help speed up this process as it will add some needed weight.
3 Spray clothes with waterThis is so easy you’ll be annoyed that no one told you about it before (I know I was). All you need to uncrease your shirt without an iron is some water – that’s it!
Top tip: Never soak your shirt, unless you want to wait for hours to wear it, just give it a light mist and hang it to dry. Vinegar can also be added to the to the water to really boost it’s de-wrinkling properties. Just bare in mind, if you do use vinegar, it may harm some fabrics – it can also be a bit whiffy if you add too much.
This method can be as quick as 20 minutes, if you don’t mind a tiny bit of dampness, otherwise wait a full hour before wearing.
Use dryer sheetsOne of the best ways to get wrinkles out of clothes without ironing is to use a dryer sheet. This is the quick, easy, no fuss way to never have to deal with an iron again.
Simply toss a dryer sheet into your dryer the next time you put a load on
Top tip: To ensure those shirts stay de-wrinkled, hang them up on hangers immediately.
Take your shirt into the shower with youWhen I was looking into how to unwrinkle a shirt without an iron, the shower method was one that I knew I would come back to again and again. Not only does it save you time, it’s economical too. Just like an iron uses steam to press out those stubborn creases, this uses the same technique, but on a bigger scale.
Find a place to hang your shirt near where you will be showering (it should be close enough to steam, but not so close it gets wet).
Top tip: If you are in a hurry you can de-crease your shirt the same way, but without the shower. Just run hot water and leave the bathroom. Since it does waste water, I recommend using this method while showering.
Use a kettleIf you can boil water to make tea, you can get rid of the dents in your clothes. Essentially, ironing this way is almost like using the shower technique, but in this case you don’t have to fill an entire room with steam. Btw, use a metal kettle for this.
Fill your kettle with water and let it boil
Top tip: This is a great method if you’re away on holiday and need to decrease quickly before you go out.
7 Use a hair ironOkay, so perhaps using a hair iron to iron clothes is flying a little too close to actually using an iron. But, to be fair, a hair-straightening iron is safer than a clothing iron – plus you’ll have more control.
Top tip: Just make sure that the flat iron is completely clear of hair products, or you’ll have more issues than just a wrinkled shirt.

Other Ways To De-wrinkle A Shirt Without IroningHere are some tips on the best ways to wash, stretch and store your clothes, so you reduce your need to iron (or avoid it altogether).
Hack – 1When you’re putting clothes in the washing machine, never overfill it. Just stick to the maximum loading amount that’s indicated. While at times it’s tempting to just bung everything in at once, if you do you’ll end up with twisted and wrinkled clothes.
Hack- 2When clothes are damp, they have a tendency to hold a their shape. So to avoid them drying as a wrinkled mass, when you take clothes out of the washing machine, stretch them out. Also, give them a shake before they go on the washing line. Doing this should stretch out a few wrinkles, and if you’ve followed hack 1 you may not need an iron at all.
Hack – 3To stretch out your clothes, a great tip is to let them dry on a hanger (also handy if you don’t have an available clothesline). That way they dry faster and don’t deform too much.
Hack – 4Try not to leave clothes on the clothes line for too long. You don’t want to hang your clothes out nice and smooth, only to have the wind and elements crease them again.
Also, try and fold your clothes straight after collecting them from the line.
Bottom LineWhatever you do, the main thing is not to damage your shirt in any way. For shirts you wear everyday, or clothing, these methods are fine, but for shirts made with delicate fabric (like silk) you should stick to the specialty instructions. And if you do decide to stick to a good ole iron, just use a sheet of aluminum foil between the shirt and iron to cut down the ironing time.

Yes, it is. Many people have done and continue to do so. However, this may be down to some genetic fluke on their part.
That being said, even if you didn’t win the genetic lottery hair-wise, you can still encourage healthier hair to grow. These hair growing tips for men can tip the scale in your favor for hair growth, just be sure to use them regularly.
Hair Growth Tip 1 – Healthy Eating, Healthier Hairhow to make a guys hair grow faster – mind what you eat

Hair Growth Tip 2 – MassageMassaging scalp for hair regrowth and loss
This hair growth hack is well known but is worth mentioning. When the scalp is regularly massaged, it stimulates the circulation to the head. And as you can imagine, a healthy supply of blood helps to create healthier hair. There was even a study involving a group of men that showed that regularly massaging the head can lead to thicker hair.
This is how a hair growth massage works: Knead the scalp with all ten fingertips in a gripping motion. One bonus is that your own natural hair oil can be distributed this way. Great for growth, and the general look and feel of your hair.
Hair Growth Tip 3 – Hair Growth SerumA hair growth serum can strengthen the hair from the roots, thus promoting healthy hair growth. Natural ingredients like ginger, fleece flower, and grape seed, all stimulate circulation within the scalp and activate hair follicles.
To make the most of a hair growth serum, like the one in the image, pour a little in your shampoo bottle and wash hair as usual.
Hair Growth Tip 4 – Switch It Up With The WaterHow to make hair grow faster for men, switch from hot to cold
Now you may be wondering whether to use cold water or hot water for hair growth. The answer is, both will do you good, and here’s why.
Hot waterFor removing excess dirt from your scalp, and opening up pores, nothing is better than a hot water hair wash. When you wash you hair with hot water, all that build up in the scalps escapes and gets washed away – bliss. This, in turn, helps to unclog the hair follicles.
No doubt hot water cleans your scalp,….but years of doing this alone can start to damage the scalp skin, impeding your hairs ability to grow.
Why?
Because hot water makes your hair more porous. What that means is the hair is now more open to the elements instead of being tightly sealed – this is not what we want. Hair that has become too porous is dry and more likely to break.
Although hot water is excellent at washing away oil and dirt, it can often wash away natural oils needed for healthy hair. Without these oils (also known as sebum) the hair becomes less thick and loses its shine.
Along with this, inflammation from very hot water may trigger a dry, itchy scalp that does not grow hair very well.
These effects, unfortunately, become more pronounced as a person ages.
Cold waterWhen it comes to hair rinses, many experts recommend cold water, and for good reason.
Cold water actually helps to increase blood circulation which deliver nutrients and minerals to your scalp. With enhanced circulation, your body removes waste and debris in the skin more efficiently, taking out any toxins that cause slower hair growth.
One benefit of improved circulation is that it can tighten your hair cuticles, giving you strong and shiny hair strands. There’s something else about cold water rinses; since they don’t wash away your hairs natural oils – unlike hot water, they seal in the moisture helping to keep the frizz away.
Which one to choose? Hot or coldBoth hot and cold water hair washes have their benefits, so try using lukewarm water when you begin washing. Once your head is soaked and your done rinsing any dirt, introduce the cold water gradually, so you avoid any shock.
How To Accelerate Hair Growth – What Else? There are essential oils that can help increase rapid hair growth, these include rosemary, horsetail and sage. Simply put a few drops of these in your conditioner or shampoo and your hair will definitely benefit. One reason for this is that they help increase circulation to the scalp.
If you want to go the natural and more herbal way to grow hair, try drinking herbal teas such as burdock root or catnip. These are high in B vitamins and help to enhance stronger and healthier hair.

How To Wear A Snapback Cap – Essential Guy’s GuidesLove or hate them, the snapback is back! The well-known cap, popularized in the 90’s is not done yet, as we see this fashion throwback arrive on the style scene once again.
Snapbacks look good hanging loose with some baggy jeans and t-shirt. But as the wearers of snapbacks have grown, so have their styling choices. So don’t be surprised if you see them paired with fitted suits and other contemporary wear.
It’s probably the versatility of this style of cap that has made them a firm favorite for many. But like any look, get it wrong and it will seem like you’ve just been spat out of a time machine.
So if you’re wondering how to wear a snapback cap, check out this handy guide to find the best ways.
What is a Snapback?Contrary to what many people think, the snapback is not a brand, but a style of cap. You can recognize a snapback by its wide flat brim and the plastic closure that snaps at the back, hence the name – snapback.
And here’s some snapback history for you; while it’s widely believed that snapbacks were invented in the 1990s – this is actually not true. Hip hop culture did indeed make these caps more popular with the public, but their origins lie in baseball.
This well loved accessory has been around since the 1950s. In fact, in 1958, the baseball team Brooklyn Excelsiors were the first ones to wear snapbacks. Back then, the design was simple, just a round crown and a short, flat brim.
But if snapbacks originated in baseball, and baseball caps (dad hats) also originated from baseball – whats the difference? Glad you asked.
While the snapback cap and the baseball cap share some similarities, make no mistake, these are two different caps altogether. I’ll go into this a little further in the next section.

Difference Between A Snapback And A Dad HatSo before you know how to wear a snapback cap, you should know how to spot them. To the snapback aficionados, you may want to skip this step, but to those who are new to this look, I’ll briefly point out some of the differences between them.
| Feature | Snapback | Dad Hat | | Design | Snapbacks have a nice amount of space at the front, so they tend to have bolder, more “in your face” designs | In the case of a dad hat, the stickers and design on the front is not as important | | The Closure | Closure at back is plastic and adjustable to fit any head | A dad cap has a metallic closure – non adjustable | | The Brim | Brim of a snapback is completely flat | The brim of a dad hat is rounder and pre-shaped | | The angle | Snap back have an angle of 90 degrees from the cap and the brim. | Dad caps are designed at a obtuse angle, so it doesn’t look at wide as a snapback | | Panel | There are 6 panels in snapback caps | Dad caps (baseball caps) have 5 panels |

First Things First: How To Choose A SnapbackThese slick hats come in a load of incredible designs, so you will always find something that suits your style and personality.
Still stumped on what to choose? Consider your desired look and take it from there.
Want something more casual, and a little fun? Choose a snapback that comes with some interesting text or incredible embroidery, this can range from sports, animal, symbols, words and more.
Like sports? Then select a snapback with your team logo. This is where snapbacks come into their own, motifs and large texts are very much a snapback cap thing.
But if you want your hat to be in the background while your outfit takes center stage, choose a solid color and a more minimalist design. This is also a good choice for someone trying snapbacks for the first time. Even an all black snapback can look dapper with the right outfit. The style is up to you, just choose something that represents your style and something you feel good in.
Snapback MaterialThe color of your snapback isn’t the only thing that will make a difference to your look. It’s important to make sure the material that a snapback is made of looks good and is comfortable too.
You can find snapbacks in a massive array of materials from cotton to leather, mesh and tweed. The choice in snapback material will probably come down to the season – cotton is good in summer, while leather and tweed makes more sense in the winter.
How To Wear A Snapback ForwardsWe all know the general way to wear a snapback is face forward. Although it’s still a casual look, it appears “cleaner” than wearing it backward. This way of wearing a snapback looks great paired with some smart/casual wear or a Hip hop inspired outfit.
To add a little more edge, point the brim towards the sky as far as possible and sit the cap on your head without completely pushing it in place.
How To Wear A Snapback BackwardsWhen you wear a snapback cap backwards it’s like making a statement in itself, whether that be your mood at the time, your musical persuasions, or your personality and style.
Just be aware, that this look can also come off as awkward and outdated if paired with the wrong outfit. To look good wearing a snapback backward, team it with something contemporary and modern.
Also, keeping in line with the carefree vibe backward-facing snapbacks project, opt for a more casual outfit. Try urban style streetwear and wear the cap a little higher on your head at a slant.
How To Wear A Snapback For Casual LooksMore than likely, you’re probably going to wear your snapback in casual settings. If you decide to wear patterned shirts, choose a snapback that has a neutral color such as blue or tan – like the geometric snapback here. That way you get a good balance and they don’t end up clashing.
In the case of snapbacks that are a little bolder, with emblems, texts or patterns, stick to neutral colored clothing, so there aren’t too many focal points.
For that preppy look, pair it with a button down shirt and some chinos. Pull it all together with some dress shoes, boots, or nice sneakers. The hat should should accentuate your look, so opt for a cap that ties your outfit together.
Snapback Hip Hop StyleIf you want a look that naturally works with snapbacks, then the Hip Hop style is a great option.
Team an over-sized tee shirt and some baggy jeans with your favorite snapback, and you’ve got an on trend outfit. Or, make a statement with a black snapback with bold white embroidery – or even gold. Finish off the look with a loose fitted graphic tee, sneakers and ripped blue jeans.
How to wear your snapback cap? In this case, wear face forward, peak high and pointed upwards. Backwards caps and a Hip hop look are a little “on the nose” and (unless you’re very young). It can sometimes come off as someone trying to hard to be “hip” – which is never good . So keep it face forward.
How Not To Wear A SnapbackNow you have some ideas on how to wear a snap back, there’s definitely some things you should avoid:
Bottom LineWhether you go for bold, edgy or something more neutral, wear your snapback with swagger and style. Now you know how to wear a snapback, check out the snaps backs in our collection today!

How To Wear A Pork Pie Hat – The Right WayFrom time immemorial people have covered their heads, perhaps to keep their hair in check or to compensate for its lack thereof.
So wanting to find a good-looking hat is a natural thing.
However, if you’ve been looking for a head accessory that’s more stylish and individual than caps, or mass-produced hats, you really should take a closer look at the pork pie hat.
Here, in this quick guide, we show you how to wear a pork pie hat so you can make this look your own.
What Is A Pork Pie Hat? A Little Bit Of BackgroundThe name “pork pie hat” is pretty quirky, and memorable – much like the hat itself. So why is it called a pork pie hat? Basically….because it looks like a pork pie. They’re also known as a English pastry hats, again food based, but not so catchy.
What does a pork pie hat look like?* Some of the points you should look for are: * The pork pie has narrow brim, is similar to the Trilby hat, but not the Fedora * The crown of a pork pie is low and flat and somewhat dome shaped – think duck pond. * It has a crease around its edge, which gives the pork pie hat a non-slip appearance. * Pork pie hats usually come with a hatband or ribbon, all of this makes this a hat both simple in shape and striking in its effect.
And here’s some pork pie hat history for you…These hats have been around since the 1830’s. Back then they were more popular among women than men, and looked a little less robust – their appearance was flatter, with a narrower curled back brim.
It wasn’t until the 1920’s that the pork pie began to make it’s mark with men. This was largely due to the silent movie star Buster Keaton wearing them in his films. He liked them so much, he actually insisted on turning all his fedora’s into pork pie hats.
But the true pork pie hey day came in the 1930’s and 40’s, the great depression age. The hats height increase and snap brim came into play. The rounded crown, or the dished crown, became known as “telescopic crowns” because they could be made to pop up. Worn by famous Jazz musician Frank Lloyd Wright, the hats brim became wider and stayed that way – looking very much like the pork pie hats we know today.

Who Do Pork Pie Hats Suit?Anyone with a long, oval, or short face shape suits a pork pie hat. However, they should be avoided if you happen to have a very round or square face.
As a general rule, the brim of a hat should be wider than your jawline, hence the reason why a porkpie hat isn’t great if you have a larger jawline or a very round face – all it will do will enhance these features.

For taller men, this is an excellent hat. Pork pie hats are shorter in the crown than trilby’s or fedora’s, so they won’t add any more inches to your height.
In the instance of oval or shorter face, your pork pie hat should sit about 0.7-1 inch above your eyebrows.
How To Wear A Pork Pie HatStyle 1
Style: 2
The first places to look are the brim and the crown; In a porkpie hat, the crown is pinched and there’s a crease running around it in a circular design, which is called a telescope crown.
Along with this, the porkpie hat has a very short brim that stands up. This type of brim is often referred to as a stingy brim. One other difference to check for is that a pork pies crown will usually be much shorter than a fedora.
In the case of the crown on a fedora, these are higher and can come in different shapes. These include:
Like the pork pie hat, the fedora also has a telescopic crown, but its brim is always about 2.5+ inches. Another difference is that the Fedora’s brims can easily be shaped. So, they can be worn by pushing them all the way up, or just shaped to point down at the front and up at the back. While not every fedora can be shaped this easily, it is fairly typical of this type of hat.

Simply measure your head circumference with a tape measure. Place it over your ears, i.e. around where the hat is, around your head. It is easier if someone helps you to read the centimeters. If there is no one around, use a mirror to help you. You can see the correct hat size in the size chart here.

Chances are, in some corner of your wardrobe, there’s a few polo shirts hanging around – and rightly so. This fashion staple is ideal in many ways, straddling that grey area between a shirt and a T-shirt – not to shabby, but not too smart either.
Yet, despite the polo shirts versatility, it hasn’t always been given the style credit it deserves. Perhaps because some people still associate them with old gym uniforms, frat boys, or retail workers.
But polo shirts are so much more, especially when worn the right way.
They’re also great summer wear, cool enough to let in that warm breeze, yet with enough coverage to let you know you’re wearing something “proper”. And unlike a shirt, it’s easy and convenient to wear, you simply slip it over your head and go.
But aside from the convenience they offer, polo shirts can be stylish – yes stylish. If you scoffed at that statement, then let me show you how to wear polo shirts – the dapper way.
Let’s get to it!
What Is A Polo Shirt? In my time, I’ve heard a few people refer to a polo shirt as a “T-shirt”. I don’t know why, but it rankles me. But before we get into the difference between a polo shirt and a t-shirt, let’s define what a polo shirt actually is.
A polo shirt is a short-sleeved shirt, with a placket neckline and three buttons. It usually has a pocket at the front, but this is not standard.
Polo shirts are often made with knitted cotton, but can also come in fabrics like; merino wool, silk, synthetic fibers, or synthetic natural blends.
And the difference between a polo shirt and t shirt? The main difference is the design and to a lesser degree the function, such as:
Polo Shirt HistoryIt’s not entirely clear when the polo shirt was actually invented. Some say it was at the end of the 19th century when a “polo like” shirt was worn by British aristocrats. These shirts – or polo shirts (for lack of a better word) could be long or short-sleeved and looked more like buttoned down sports shirts than the polo shirts we know today.
Often worn by people involved in horse related sports, the shirts were made of rugged material and included button down collars. A button down collar is what distinguished the polo shirt, this ensured that the collars didn’t flap about when the rider was on horseback.
Fast forward to the early 20th century, and the polo shirt we know today has taken the sporting world by storm. Fed up with wearing over-starched, badly fitted tennis whites (a type of sportswear), Rene Lacoste decided to take matters into his own hands.
The Grand Slam tennis champion designed a short sleeve, loose-fitting, white cotton shirt. Unlike the old tennis whites, the collar was un-starched and the knit was breathable and – more importantly – offered greater flexibility.
The “tennis shirt” – as it was named then, was popular with many other types of sportsmen, but more so with polo players. Lacoste’s short-sleeve shirt had such strong connections to them, that even the tennis players began calling the tennis shirt a polo shirt.
Whether the birth of the polo shirt was back with the British aristocrats at the end of the 19th century or with Lacoste, the jury is still out. However, there is no denying the impact of polo shirts made in sportswear, so much so that it and the name Lacoste are still widely recognized today.

How To Wear A Polo Shirt – What To Look ForHow to wear a polo shirt – keep it fitted
It doesn’t matter how good the polo shirt looks on the rack, if it leaves you looking like a sack of spuds then it’s not gonna work. The fit is everything – never forget that. Here are 3 main points to look for:
The sleeves: The seam of your polo shirt should lay against the shoulder bone. Ideally, the sleeves should be two-thirds of the way down your biceps and be slim fit. Why does this matter? Mainly because a shorter sleeve looks a little outdated. Longer is fine, but if you want to stay classic, and make the most of the polo shirt look, half way down the bicep is optimal.
The length: A polo shirt should go a little beyond your waistband, but should not trail below your fly area. I cannot stress this enough, polo shirts are not meant to go past the fly or stop mid thigh – this just looks messy. If you happen to be a man under 5’9″, you may find that many polo shirts run a little long on you. There’s the option of getting this adjusted or just finding a polo shirt that is length appropriate.
The Fit: Regardless of body type, a polo shirt should never be baggy or too loose fitting, like in the image above. For the best look, the polo shirt should fit snugly to your body — but without being overly tight. It’s also okay for it to be tighter around the chest and arms, just make sure there’s enough room to place a few fingers under the sleeves.
Types of Polo ShirtsLightweight Polos – Pima Cotton PolosPolos can come in lighter-weight cotton like Pima cotton. Feel wise, this is a very smooth fabric and soft to the touch, the resulting polo shirt is more akin to a t-shirt than a classic polo.
Long Sleeve Polo ShirtsAs the name suggests, this is a polo shirt with, you’ve guessed it, longer sleeves. Long sleeve polo shirts, means that this shirt – which is usually associated with summer – can easily be worn in the colder seasons.
On occasion, long sleeve polos may come with original features such as button sleeve cuffs or button down collars.
Short Sleeve Polo ShirtBeen working out? Then show off those guns with a short sleeve polo. This design is timeless and works well paired with jeans or chinos. Dress this up by adding some loafers, or keep it casual with sneakers and jeans.
Golf Polo ShirtsUsually designed with short sleeves for greater ease of movement, the golf polo shirt is built for sportswear (although it can be worn at any time). Golf polos are often made from fabric that has plenty of stretch in it, along with temperature control. Use for sports, or occasions when you need to work up a sweat without looking like you’re working up a sweat.
How To Wear A Polo ShirtWhat To Wear Over A Polo ShirtHow to dress up a polo shirt: combine with blazer or sports jacket
So you want to wear your polo shirt, but maybe the weathers not so great, or you simply want to stylize your attire a little more. Well, one of the benefits of sitting somewhere between smart and casual, is that the polo shirt can work with quite a few looks.
Tired of stepping out in your old Jeans and T-shirt? Then try pairing your polo shirt with your best denim jacket. This look is still casual, but adds an original flair to the old classic.
For moments when you need to smarten your look up, you should know that polo shirts go extremely well with a nice sports jacket or blazer. Try contrasting the polo shirt you wear with your jacket. So, if you’re wearing a dark blue or black jacket, instead of white, add a splash of color, like red or even orange.
How To Wear A Polo Shirt With JeansWant to know what to wear with a polo shirt? Then get out the denim. Polo shirts and jeans are match made in heaven – they just work. For cooler days, team a pair of dark blue jeans with a long-sleeved polo shirt.
For something a little more different and eye-catching, wear some white jeans with a camel colored polor shirt. This look, while casual, is still pretty sharp
Matching dark polo shirts with dark jeans is fine too, just as long as there is an accent color in the sleeves – like white or red, to offset the block of dark color – as in the image.
Polo Shirt With SweatpantsKeep it relaxed and cool by combining polo shirts with sweatpants. This gives your whole look an instant casual vibe and is great for occasions where you want to look good, but without any extra effort.
Complete your look with low-top sneakers, a cap and a canvas bag. To avoid looking sloppy, keep the sweatpants clean, simple and neutral (no distracting patterns or logos) and experiment with brighter polo shirt colors – like yellow..

Final Polo Shirt Do’s and Don’tsDon’t worry about buttons: While you’re free to button that polo shirt up to the top, there’s really no need. For a look that’s a little more on trend and relaxed, leave it unbuttoned.
Don’t wear your collar up – ever: It’s not cool, it’s not clever, and you’re not the Fonz, so let’s leave it down shall we?
Don’t tuck your polo into your shorts: Not only does it look a little too preppy, tucking also has a habit of adding bulk around the mid section. Stay untucked or, if you really can’t resist, a french tuck will be fine.
Don’t wear too many logos: The best way to wear polo shirts is to keep it clean and classy, so logos and garish designs are a big no no. The impression you should be giving off is of a stylish man about town, and not a walking billboard.
Do start layering polo shirts with jackets: Polo shirts work well with layers, so experiment with jackets such as bombers or even a sports jacket.
Do buy polos in neutral colors: Yes, polo shirts come in an array of designs and colors, but you’ll get more wear out of the neutral colors. If you want to inject some color into the polo shirt, look for ones with a contrasting color on the sleeves.
Do keep it fitted…but not tight. Polo shirts are one of the best shirts to wear fitted because they are designed to be worn this way. It should drape over the body nicely, without clinging to every nook and cranny.

Sure, you could try putting everything in your pants and jacket pocket, but you’re going to run into problems when it comes to stashing away that tablet or laptop. This is especially important when you’re going to the office or away on a weekend trip, it’s these occasions that everything needs to be stowed away safely.
The days when men would forgo bags for deep pant pockets are over, bags are important – for everyone. Not only are they convenient, they keep your life organized and add style and individuality to your journey. Needless to say, wherever you go, a bag should go with you.
If you are a bag owner, you may not have given much thought about whether you have the right bag. That trusty backpack is fine for errant travels, but not so good when you need to meet an important business client.
So, with the many types of bags for men, it’s important to find the right one for you.
Here are 5 bags every man should own, and the best ways to use them.
5 Types of bags for menThe Tote BagStyle scale-wise, tote bags are not as casual as backpacks, but certainly less formal than a briefcase, making them great for everyday use.
The tote bag is spacious enough to shove smelly sneakers in after a gym session, or that bit of shopping that will see you through the weekend.
But one of the best things about tote bags, is that they still come off as somewhat smart and sleek, even when used as beach bags. Versatile and easy to use, you really can’t beat a good tote bag.
What you should look for:* The type of material is important in a good tote bag, the most common being heavy canvas, heavy nylon, and jute. * If your tote will be carrying heavier items, such as a laptop or a tablet, then canvas will be fine. Look for a tote with a zip for that added bit of security.

The BackpackBackpacks have conquered the hearts of many fashion-loving men worldwide. It’s no wonder – after all, the (right) backpack is super comfortable and often gives off a nonchalant masculine air.
On a practical note, the backpack can also help your health. When carried over both shoulders, the weight of the bag contents is evenly distributed and doesn’t strain the spine.
What to look for* If you’re wondering which backpack will suit you best, that depends on your personal style. Are you athletic? Then you need a more robust backpack, look for ones with adjustable air mesh straps. * Want to make a style statement? Opt for a leather backpack. Not only are they eye-catching, and upgrade your look, their waterproof too. * Have some valuables you need to carry around? Look for the backpacks with hidden zip compartments. * Also, to avoid the contents of your bag poking into you while you travel, make sure the seat of the backpack is padded. * In general, this will keep things comfortable see you through longer travels
The BriefcaseWay back, the briefcase started out as a bag used by lawyers to carry their briefs (hence the name) into court. But since the 1980s, this dapper bag has become a mainstay of many men’s wardrobes.
Whether paired with a suit or as the icing on the cake of a casual business look, briefcases are an absolute must for every man who works in an office job.
What to look for* In the perfect brief case you will find enough space for work papers, your laptop and a charging cable. * Select a well-crafted briefcase with a good sturdy handle. And don’t skimp on the quality of this bag – day-to-day wear and tear does not look good with a briefcase. It should, for the most part, look impeccable. * So go for simplicity, elegance and quality wherever possible. The best material for a briefcase is leather, and the color should match the majority of your business shoes, so either black or brown.
Messenger bagFor anyone thinking the rise in the messenger bag popularity is just hype or a result of expensive marketing; here’s the truth – the messenger bag is just about the most handy bag you can have as a man
Also known as carry-alls, the messenger bag represents functionality and style combined. They also come into their own when transporting paperwork, laptops and general everyday use.
What to look for* Look for a messenger bag with an adjustable padded shoulder strap. Suede messenger bags add a note of ruggedness to your look, but for practicality and longevity leather is the best. * For that retro look, canvas is also a good material option. * The bag should have a magnetic closure or a buckled fastener
Belt BagOnce the main staple of elderly travelers and builders, the belt bag, or the fanny pack, has had a resurgence in recent years. And why not? They’re incredibly convenient, and ensure that everything you need is right in front, or behind you.
Nowadays, a majority of people wear their belt bags across their chests. The size has also changed, and belt bags have become much larger – which can only be a good thing. This makes these bags ideal for carrying around those little extras – aside from your wallet.
What to look for* To make the most of a belt bag, opt for one that has an exterior zipper pocket and good space inside for wallets, keys, specs, etc.
Belt bags come in all kinds of materials; nylon, and canvas, but leather is smart enough for the office or the great outdoors
* If you’re sporty, look for a quick-release buckle on your belt bag, this type of buckle is ideal for running, walking, riding, jogging, etc.
* The best size is the one that’s big enough for your essentials, while not being too bulky
Bottom line: Bags every man should ownWhen choosing, pay attention to high material quality and good workmanship. If in doubt, invest a little more money, so you will have a bag that will be your companion for years to come.

How To Lace Converse High Tops -7 Best Wayshttps://capthatt.com/wp-content/uploads/How-To-Tie-Converse-High-Tops-7-Best-Ways.mp3How To Tie Converse High Tops- 7 Of The BestYou’ve just got your converse high tops fresh out of the box, chances are you’ll loosen the laces a bit – tied the factory standard way, and slip your feet straight in. There’s nothing wrong with that, after all converse high tops look great with practically anything. But how about doing something different with those laces? After all, the ability to lace your shoes in different styles could instantly switch up your look.
But where do you start?
If you’re used to tying your converse laces the standard way, doing anything different may seem a little daunting.
With this in mind, we’ve put together a short guide on how to lace converse high tops. None of the shoe lacing methods below are too difficult, and they make a great starting point. So impress yourself and your friends and try a few of them out!
How To Lace Converse High Tops – Shoelace Patterns Step By StepBefore we jump in, it’s worth noting that while this is specifically focused on lacing converse high tops, these methods are just some cool ways to lace shoes – so try them on your high tops or on any other footwear.
When you use this method, the intertwining laces become so dense that, once you get to the top, you don’t actually need to conclude with a knot.
Step 1a.The first step is to take the aglets (plastic tube around the lace) and push them through the eyelets like the image above. Make sure the laces are straight and even.
b. Now take one side of the lace aglets and go over to the eyelet that is 3 up on the opposite side
Step 2a. Push the lace up and into the eyelet right above it and pull through
b. Now go over and to the eyelet on the opposite side one down and pull the lace through. Then, just like before push the lace up into the eyelet just above it.
Step 3a. Take one of the laces and push it down through the eyelet one below it, and do the same for the opposite lace
b. Do the same for the opposite lace, it should form a large X when done
Keep taking the laces and pushing them down the opposite holes, just as you can see in the close up image. If your laces get twisted laces, simply untwist as you go. Repeat the lacing technique until you reach the top.
Step 4a. To finish up, leave one eyelet at the top, then push the ends behind them. You can also, at this point, push the tongue of the converse out a bit more.

Step 1how to diamond lace shoes step by step
a. Take your lace through the bottom eyelets, in and out of them as in the image.
b. You’re then going to skip up to the third eyelet, and take your lace across and enter that hole
Step 2a Now pull the aglet under and up the next eyelet one above
b. Feed the lace aglet into the opposite eyelet one down. Just like in figure a, go up and under the next eyelet above.
c. Keep doing this until you reach the top
d. Now take the other lace and weave under and over the tied laces
Step 3a after weaving under and over the existing tied laces, go over and into the eyelet two up
b. Now pull the aglet one eyelet up and weave under and over until arriving at the eyelet two down
Repeat steps a and b with each lace until you get to the top.
Step 4a. when you get to the top, take the lace aglet and go under into the eyelet one below
b. weave under and through the top lace and into the top eyelet one up. Do the same for the other lace and you’re done!
The beauty of this lacing method is it leaves parts of the shoe exposed, allowing the foot to move around more freely. Try it with your converse high tops on days when you’re going to do a lot of walking, that way you keep your feet as flexible as possible.
To tie your shoes with the army lacing pattern, follow this procedure:
Step 1a Start by lacing straight across and then go under and not over
b. Run the laces up each side of the shoe by feeding lace into the second eyelets
Step 2a. Cross back one lace under another and out of the second eyelet
b. Run the laces up each side and feed through the third eyelet (the next one up)
c. Repeat this by crossing back and running the laces up each side
Step 3a. When you get to the top simply hide the laces behind the tongue of the shoe
l
.
Step 1a. Tie a knot inside the top eyelet lace and cross diagonally over
b. Once pulled through the opposite bottom eyelet, feed the lace under then up through the next eyelet.
Step 2a. Cross the shoe lace over and feed it through the eyelet
b. Now go under and out of the net eyelet
Step 3a. Cross the lace back over and feed through
b. Do this again and get back to the other side
c. Repeat and tie at the top
This look is great for any occasion, but is particularly useful when you want to relieve pressure on the upper part of the foot. It’s super comfortable and gives off a more casual and laid back vibe. This style of lacing is not recommended when using your converse high tops for sportswear.
Step 1Want to lace converse your high tops loose? Try the bar lacing method
a. Tie a knot at the bottom eye let, then go straight across – not under.
Step 2a. Inside the sneaker run the lace under and through the second eyelet
b Now cross the lace over to the opposite eyelet and inside the next eye under and through
Step 3Repeat step 2 until you reach the top then
Step 4Tie a knot and secure the lace inside the shoe.
It’s a relatively easy lacing method to do, and the finished look is neat and attractive. As an everyday lacing technique this is fine, but if you want more ankle support, you’re better off going for the standard or criss cross lacing method.
Step 1a. Start by going right through the eyelets through the bottom and not over the top
Step 2a. Now run the lace straight up each side and then across
b. Do the same thing for the lace on the other side
Step 3a. Take the aglet through the next eyelet up and across
b. Repeat the same process for the other lace.
Keep doing this until you reach the top and you’re done.
Step 1a. Start with the lacing running through the bottom and out through the eyelets in a straight line, as in the image
b. Now run the shoe lace into the opposite eyelet up by three
c. Pull the lace inside and go under and out through the next eyelet as per the image.
Step 2a Go diagonally down three eyelets and again go inside and under through the next eyelet up
b. Again go diagonally up three, except this time the lace should come out of the top eyelet
Step 3a From the bottom of the opposite end take the lace over and under. Then feed in through the eyelets that is 3 up
b. From this position feed the lace under the next eyelet up
c. Now weave through the other laces by going under then over then under again. Go into the next eyelet and back under the eyelet above then repeat the weave
d. End lattice weave with a knot of your choice
Bottom LineChances are, one of the above ways of lacing your converse high tops will end up being your “go to” lacing pattern. But, on the occasions when you want something different (or just want to show off a bit) then use this guide on “How to lace converse high tops” as your reference point.
As a side note, along with the lacing methods, add various colored laces, or thicker and thinner ones to enhance each design.

Best Haircuts For A Round Face ManEver looked at a hairstyle, loved it, then imagined how it would look on you and quickly dismissed the idea? Well you’re not alone. And if you’re a guy with a rounder face, then this scenario has probably happened more often than not. That’s because there’s a common belief that guys with round faces don’t suit many hairstyles.
However, this is completely untrue.
No, you won’t be able to get away with every hairstyle out there – that’s a given – but there’s plenty of hairstyles that will suit you.
So which are the best mens hairstyles for round faces?
Glad you asked. We’ve created this guide to answer this exact question and show you how versatile your haircuts can be. It doesn’t matter if you want something edgy or more classic, you should be able to find a hairstyle you’ll feel confident in.
How To Tell If You Have A Round FaceBelow you’ll find 17 of the best haircuts for men with round faces. But before we get into that, ask yourself this…
Do you actually have a round face?
Probably not such a strange question considering what the article’s about. It also means that the hairstyles you’re going to look through are more relevant to you. To find out, take note of the points below:
Hopefully, that should clear things up concerning your face shape. However, if you are still undecided, check out the photos below for comparison.
Top Mens Hairstyles For Round FacesThe best haircuts for men with round faces are pretty varied. But what you should be looking for is a cut that adds dimension, volume (height) and angles – which will sharpen your face.
If done right, all this combined should lengthen the face and make your cheeks, chin, and forehead more defined and less soft-looking. Some say there shouldn’t be too much forehead exposed – but this rule can be flouted if you add some height.
With that said, let’s have a look at some great examples.
This style looks even crisper combined with a high skin fade or an undercut. Bare in mind that the pompadour style needs a good pomade and holding spray to create height and control.
Not only is it relatively simple to style, it suits most guys and all ages. It also works if you want a hairstyle that can transition between professional looking and something more laid back.
To take this quiff to the next level, grow some stubble – which will lean out the face even more. The addition of a parting also gives a modern day twist to this effortless style staple.
When visiting your barber, ask them to trim the sides of your hair shorter, this will further emphasis your hair height.
Just parting your hair off center by an inch or two, and instantly your face looks less round. Now couple this with some layers, and you’ve given this cut a stylish boost.
There are loads of options with asymmetrical styles. You can go classy and more understated, or get wild and tousled – it’s your call. In any case, we recommend visiting a good men’s hairstylist rather than a traditional barber, so you get this look on point.
For styling look into creams, pomades, waxes, and pastes. This will keep the style dynamic without losing the finer details.
This style adds layers, texture and movement and looks great with a longer fringe. For a trendy and natural looking crop, try using a matte product
Just keep in mind that this cut will not flatter all round faces. However, if it does work for you, then this is probably a style you’ll come back to again and again
It’s recommended that the sides should be cut with very short clippers – #2 to #4 is the best range. At the barbers, ask your hair to be clipped so you get that level flat surface on top.
You will need to have at least 2 to 4 inches of hair on top, this will make the side parting easier. Get your barber to buzz down the sides using a #3 or #6 clipper blade.
Done right, the slicked-back style can look polished and chic. If you want to add a little edge to this haircut, combine it with an undercut.e
To get the maximum effect from this, use a good quality hair pomade.
Just like some of the other hairstyles for men with round faces, this plays on height and dimensions to draw the eye upwards.
If this is a style that you want to keep long term, we recommend that you get the sides cut low while leaving it longer on top.
Faux Hawk + BeardIf you want to stand out from the crowd, in the best possible way, then the faux hawk is probably for you. This adventurous style gives an amazing amount of volume (which we all know is great for rounder faces) while also providing those crucial angels.
Angular fringe + UndercutDo you think that heavy fringes are a no go for rounder faces? Then you’d be wrong. Fringes, when done correctly, can work with any face shape – even round ones.
As with the asymmetrical parting, an off-center fringe works very well with a rounder face. This is achieved in two ways, by it’s angles, which gives contrast to the natural soft lines of a rounder face, and its asymmetry.
Combined with an undercut, you can rock this modern style with confidence.
While the hair is low on top, the beard adds another point of focus. Also, if you keep the beard slightly longer, this can help to lengthen the face.
To give you those great angles that we’re looking for, one of the best beard styles for a round face the bandholz (as seen above) or a goatee.
Ask your barber to shape your beard and maintain it with beard oils and pomades.
Needless to say, brushing hair off to the side helps to give the illusion of a narrower face. The waves also help to add depth and some height.
Try this hairstyle with thicker sides and perhaps some stubble or a beard.
Do you want to know why? Because it makes most face shapes look good.
A low fade (also called a drop fade) blends the hair from short to long, connecting to the top from the sides. Since it’s sleek on the top and tapered on the sides it can also slim a chunkier face, plus it’s versatile. Win-win
Give this style another dimension to this by adding a sharp parting.
keyword – mens haircuts for round faces
or mens hairstyle for round faces
It’s all finished off with a clean low fade. For this hairstyle to work, there should be at least 2 inches of hair left on top. To get extra-defined curls, use a pomade.
and clean. What this you have
Hairstyle To Avoid For Round FacesThe objective with the round face is to add volume at the crown, which gives the illusion of a narrower face.
Layers distract from a rounder face, so don’t be afraid of touselled locks.
Avoid center partings, as this makes the forehead region look wider. So pick up that comb and part from the side, this will instantly “narrow” the face.
