The Hidden Creatures Podcast, is a Cryptozoology podcast, and is your perfect resource for finding out more about the creatures that elude science. Whether it's the Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot, Mokele-Mbembe, or any of the other strange animals that have been sighted across the globe, we will look at the folklore, the evidence, the stories, and try to put to you an unbiased investigation.

We will also look at some of the animals who were once considered Cryptids, who are now firmly in the science books. With huge amounts of new species being discovered every year, is it completely unbelievable that one or more of these cryptids will soon be proven to science?

Cryptozoology is a wonderful world of science, hope, and folklore - and the cryptids in question, help show us that humanity still has a lot to learn!

This is the first of a 2-part series which will look at one of the most famous cryptids in the world, The Mothman of Point Pleasant. In the 60s, the small city in West Virginia was fuelled by fear, as in a 13 month period over a hundred sightings were documented of a winged creature with burning red eyes.

Across the UK, sightings of big cats have been a part of British culture since the 13 Century. The most modern sightings involve panthers, pumas, lynx, and even lions. The animals seen often get given names, "The Beast of Bodmin Moor" and "The Sydenham Panther" to name a few. The questions are though, are there currently big cats roaming the countryside, are they escapees, or is there a breeding population of dangerous felines in the British countryside.

Hiding underneath the sand of the Gobi desert, lives a creature that the nomads are so afraid of, that if they see it, they will pack up camp and move. The Mongolian Death Worm, called Olgoi-Khorkoi in Mongolia, is described as a metre long worm-like creature that can spray a poisonous, corrosive venom, and shoot electric shocks into people, strong enough to kill them.
