We knew we wouldn’t be perfect in our podcast publishing, but anything worth doing is worth doing wrong.
We spent yesterday and today having fun with Nora at the Hilton Anatole-one of our favorite end of July traditions!
Erika, Nora, and Tanner did some bounce houses, went estate sale shopping, and overall had a wonderful day :)
Erika is hitting big business goals this month! We also had lots to do with our other businesses including a crazy, wheels off consult 😳😳
Tanner wasn’t so irritable today, and the weather allowed for some garage cleaning which he and Nora knocked out! Erika went to some estate sales in search of decor items for the plant shop!
Tanner has big ambitions for the day, but was thwarted by the irritation bug 🤣 so, we decided to have a lazy day and do NOTHING! Well, we did go watch The Lion King which was actually really good!
Erika and I divided and conquered today. She took the girls to meet her mom halfway to San Antonio so they could go to the Sean Mendez concert while I stayed home and caught up on cleaning, laundry, and business.
A great day today. It’s nice to get back on track after vacation. Lots to do tomorrow to really feel like we’re back to even though. Hopefully I can get a lot of cleaning done!
I had bounce houses today and Erika went to some Estate Sales with the kids. Also, Facebook suuuuuuucks
We combined two days of fun into one podcast. We also went live for this episode on Erika’s Facebook!
Thursday was wide open in the way of activities. It was our last day on vacation, so we let them decide what to do. But it turns out, what they wanted to do made them act like total wet blankets! 😡
This episode is a recap of the past several days. We have jam packed our vacation time, so getting home and podcasting sounds like a beating by that time! We have had a wonderful time at the zoo, paddle boarding on the biggest paddle board we’ve ever seen, Pikes Peak, The North Pole, and enjoying the company of some local family we have.
We headed out for our vacation to Colorado. Because of the custody agreement with Nora, we had to leave at 6PM! This episode is a lot longer because as it turns out, late night podcasting is a great way to stay awake. We do get cut off at the end because of time constraints but hey, you get what you pay for! 🤣
We went to San Marcos today for our Parent Advisory Council meeting. We took the girls and headed out early. Everyone had a great time! We got to see Sheridan, Tim, Emma, Owen, Freddy, and Josie as well.
I would say more about this episode, but I’m publishing late and can’t remember what we talked about 🤣
Another busy day over here. Bounce houses, estate sales, chiropractors and pottery. Also...Nora rides her bike!
A full day again today. Erika had a wonderful girls night out with her friend and Maya, Lily was at her dads house, Noah was working, and Tanner got to spend some special time with Nora
We avoided a little crisis today and had some fun. It was sooo nice to get adjusted today too.
Softball, farmers market, bounce houses, plant deliveries...this day had a bit of everything 😊
July 4th week(end) is our Super Bowl for bounce houses. Which, you guessed it, has us in a whirlwind of activities!
I got my first big client at a very nice restaurant in Addison today, so we are very excited about that. We also went to an estate sale and watched Maya play softball 😊
Tuesday’s are for date nights! We were able to get out by ourselves this evening (first time in a while) and we had a wonderful time...even though the movie sucked!
Bad news from the HOA. Also, lots to do to catch up on the cleaning and over all “vacation recovery.” This includes cleaning, laundry, and chiropractics!
We had a great day with the kids. We got to watch The Secret Life of Pets at the theater, did some estate sale shopping, and started in on some vacation laundry 😬 Erika reminds us of one of the biggest disagreements of our relationship 🤣
This episode is a catch up episode. Life has been so hectic with travel and lack of sleep that we found ourselves behind! No worries though, we update y’all with the best highlights from the past couple of days including losing our car at the airport...at midnight...while carrying a bunch of luggage 😩😩😩
We had to record this episode the following morning because we were out so late and sooooo tired!
The day was about what you’d assume for a conference in Vegas. Lots of walking, lots of interaction, and lots of fun...if Vegas is your thing! 🤣
We headed out to Erika’s annual convention in Las Vegas. It’s not our favorite place in world, but we really love traveling anywhere with each other! The kids stayed home as they have camps and vacations to go to. On another note...Vegas has some wild characters!
Sometimes the best thing about a celebration day is the choice you get to celebrate, or not. In this case, not🤣 We have been running around endlessly, it seems, so Father’s Day seemed the perfect excuse for some rest and relaxation! It was a great day!
After this, no more bounce houses for the weekend ;) Fathers Day is tomorrow and then it’s off to Vegas!
We are feeling better about the car repair situation. We had bounce houses, pool parties, plant care, and more today! Hoping things slow down soon...but I doubt it 🤣
Another hectic day. We were running around getting kids to appointments while trying to run 3 businesses. I have my best prank on Maya to date and we get some bad news from our insurance claim 🙄
Noah has a great time at New Student Orientation. Overall we had a wonderful time. We are blessed with great traveling kids and a well behaved dog! I think we are gonna have a lot of fun visiting over the next 4 years 😊
We’ve decided to record or day-to-day activities through recorded audio. It’s much easier than video or writing. Enjoy 😊
