Dr. David Vinson is the superintendent of Wylie ISD, he joined Wylie ISD in 2011 and continues to have an incredible impact on our community. We talk about his upbringing in a farming town in West Texas, his journey at Texas Tech, the first job out of college, the shift to education, and the path to Wylie ISD. We dive into the Wylie ISD he saw when he arrived on to the Wylie ISD of today. We also talk about some of the incredible programs available to Wylie ISD students from the CTE program, Future Farmers of America, and Internship opportunities.
In this episode, we are joined by Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Jessica Zuniga. Jessica is the owner of Wylie's own Beyond the Behavior, a therapy center for children with autism. Jessica is not only the owner of Beyond the Behavior which features three locations (Wylie, Murphy and Frisco), she is also a board member of the Wylie Chamber of Commerce.
