PWF Empire contributors Stephen, Dalton, and Jay wade through the wreckage of Great Balls of Fire's featured match-ups (Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe, and Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman) by discussing what the matches accomplished and the future holds for all four men.

In addition, we also talk about what it truly means to be a "face" and "heel" in pro wrestling and why the debate surrounding a supposed double-turn following Roman Reigns' post-match attack on Braun Strowman at GBOF was misplaced.

PWF Empire host Jay challenges Lucas to a debate over Lucas' post-Extreme Rules tweet: "Idk how to feel about this, Joe vs Lesnar. I would be hypocritical to like this and still hate Jinder Mahals push. Joe won out of no where".

In addition, Jay, Lucas, and Stephen discuss all of the implications that come along with a dream match like Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe becoming a reality, the "x factor" that could make or break the feud/match, the importance of championships being present on TV, and more!

For the post-Backlash (May 2017) Kayfabe Tier List, PWF Empire contributors Jay and KTL creator Stephen discuss former world champions Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens currently holding midcard titles, if WWE has properly managed Roman Reigns' heat from retiring The Undertaker (spoiler alert: they haven't), WWE's booking philosophy that led to Jinder Mahal becoming WWE Champion, and the ripple effect his win has had on the rest of the company.

Current WWE Champion Randy Orton retweeted the following message on Twitter, causing a divide in the Internet Wrestling Community:

“Every Indy match now: handshake, drawn out move exchange, this is awesome chant, strike exchange, dive no sell Indy strongstyle, dive, more strikes, no sells, dive, flippy floppy sequence, dive, hit everyone with each other’s finisher then Humpty Dumpty we all fall down. "Back in I want to say, 2011, my contract was up and they were trying to re-sign me and they were trying to re-sign me for lowball figures. It's what they do to the guys. They're indentured servants. They try to pay them the smallest amount of money you could possibly pay them. There's no health insurance. You're responsible for your own travel, your own hotels, your own food on the road. You're home once a day, maybe. I did that 10 years to get to the WWE and then I did it 10 years there, so my gas tank was empty in that regard."

We recently reported how WWE was apparently bringing back the WCW Clash of the Champions name for TV specials and other merchandising. We also reported how there were plans to do brand-specific pay-per-view events after the upcoming WWE Brand Extension.

According to a user on Reddit, WWE will indeed be bringing back the Clash name to use at a RAW branded pay-per-view event. On WWE RAW 6/13/16, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins faced off in the 'Ambrose Asylum' before their WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank. Dean Ambrose joined his former Shield cohorts in the ring with a physical altercation ensuing, which ended with Dean Ambrose delivering Dirty Deeds to Reigns after saying he planned to leave Money in the Bank as the World Champion.

Elsewhere on the card, John Cena and AJ Styles met in a contract signing, with AJ Styles signing a contract that effectively barred The Club from ringside.

After a six year absence from WWE, Shane McMahon made a shocking return to Monday Night RAW and immediately kicked off a power struggle over the family business. The story is that some deal was cut years ago to preserve Shane’s place in the line of succession for control of the company, and Shane wanted to use that weapon in his arsenal right then and there for a hostile takeover of RAW, snatching the flagship brand away from Stephanie and Vince, the people he held responsible for running the company into the ground.

PWF Empire Live (also known as Live) is a spin-off of Pro Wrestling Talk Radio and the flagship program of PWF Empire.

The inception of PWF Empire Live was spurred by PWTR shifting its primary focus to a video webcast in mid-2014. By the beginning of 2015, the show had evolved beyond what it was originally intended to be, so the decision was made to return PWTR to its podcast roots while continuing the webcast as a separate entity.

PWF Empire Live is hosted by Brian Joel (Jay) and Charlie Feist, who bring the insightful commentary and witty analysis that served as the cornerstone of their tenure as the two longest-serving hosts of PWTR. Newcomer Evan Medina joins Jay and Charlie to complete the PWF Empire Live hosting panel.
