I want to thank you for your support over the years, as I started this podcast during COVID so that people would have support in their thinking with all the negativity that was prevalent. I never knew that God would bring us to a point where we have almost 350k downloads, which are not just stats...the stats represent people. They are lives that prayerfully have been positively impacted. And I praise God for that! Thank you Jesus!

When I prayed about what this 100th episode should be about, God shared the topic "I have already WON." God is reminding you today that you are more than a conqueror, you have already won, simply because He has gone before you and made a way for you. The WORD that He spoke over your life cannot return void.

Being able to go through Christ is such a blessing is because it’s no longer about you or me being perfect, we can now go through Christ who IS perfect.

God is simply perfecting us, and we are safe in His hands. It is HIS work in us that is accomplishing the change needed. Through Jesus’ ultimate grace, we who are imperfect can go through the Perfect One. The results will be what they need to be for that moment and that time! Philippians 4:13 tells us that we can do all things through Christ.

Anything that needs to be accomplished, from the desires God has placed in your heart as a seed, to the assignment that you have to shine your light in the world, now can go through Christ and be perfected to God’s specifications. That’s grace!

Start speaking until you believe. All that matters is that you can let go of your old story, your old perspective, and begin to believe the new. Your task is to speak THE WORD and then to speak WORDS. Why?

Jesus provided us with a very simple instruction. “Ask, Believe, Receive.” We decide that’s too simple and add complication to it, confusing everyone and everything around us. The fastest path forward is a straight line - it’s the most uncomplicated route. This is one reason God requires our obedience, it’s for our protection, to provide us with the simplest and most straightforward path towards our destination - our destiny.

God has weapons that do not belong to this world. These weapons are weapons you come into the knowledge of when you seek the ways of Jesus.

“We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:4-9

Everything you have is a result of the quality of your choices and your desires manifesting in the world. Although we are made in the image of God and are creators, we are limited in our abilities because of our subjection to God. The amazing thing about this is that God has supplied all of our needs, as well as the ability to manifest our desires by our decisions.

Choose today to walk with God and walk in the truth, because the truth shall make you free. (John 8:31-32.) God is the way, the TRUTH and the light (John 14:6). As you develop your relationship with God, you begin seeing yourself the way God sees you… you begin recognizing yourself in Him. This affects they way you think of yourself, which is so important because our thoughts become things. The ultimate manifestation of our reality is, thus, sourced from our thoughts and belief.

Even more powerfully, seeing yourself the way God sees you helps you become Truth in the world too, making others free. Yes, your expression of your God-given purpose makes others FREE! The better you choose to become, the better the situations are that you will attract, and the greater your impact on the world.

Finally, let our thoughts develop in a mind that is committed and consistent so that we will have and experience whatever it is that we say, in Jesus' name.

You can trust God's promises because you can trust God’s power. Listen...I know it's not always easy, but there comes a time when you have to trust God more than you want to give into the urge to quit, and then - rest in the knowledge and assurance that God will never lead you to a decision that doesn’t bring Him glory.

If you prayed for the best, don’t be discouraged when God removes the rest. Maintain your hope - it is the foundation of your faith. God is always doing more than you know.

God is with you, and He is always in control when, and especially if your life appears to be out of control. Begin speaking the word, and you can start by repeating the statements I'm saying throughout this podcast. Your words will change your future.

Recently, in my devotion, God told me to activate taking authority. Typically what that means is walking thorugh my house and speaking His word over MY territory. So what we must do is MOVE and SPEAK. You weren't created to be silent and be still when you're securing the promise God has given you.

The Word of God is powerful. Jeremiah 23:29 says "Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock into pieces?" When we #speaktheword and #makethemove, the right move, with the right word, at the right time creates the conversion and causes the success.

There’s one thing I know for sure - what we speak and expect is what we receive. Let’s be intentional about speaking powerful, life-giving words over ourselves and others. Someone recently asked me “What if I don’t believe this affirmation as I’m listening?”

My answer is Matthew 7:7 - you were never instructed to BELIEVE first. Jesus told us to ASK first. As you ask, your belief will grow. That’s why regular listening to affirmations is so important.

I’ve learned that my words play more of a role in the quality of my life than I used to give them credit for.

The SHIFT we need into the power of God is determined in part by our POSITION in His PRESENCE.

Elevating your self-concept is honoring of who God created you to be, and I believe that a healthy self-image glorifies God - in doing this, you are worthy.

Too many times we've been taught to downplay our strengths and hide our gifts. As women, we have giftings that are meant to be embraced and appreciated. Our connection to emotion, nurture, intuition, love and more infuses our purpose with an impact that can't be overlooked.

When we relax into our feminine, we're reminding ourselves of who God created us to be. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are created in the image of God.

When He looks at you, reflecting His image, He says "she is good." To me, that's powerful and worthy of being underscored by this week's podcast episode.

When I think about all that God has done for me - I really don't want the glory for myself. It is humbling thinking about what God gave up for us...we have eternal salvation, paid at a price that we could never have afforded to pay.

Additionally, our primary purpose - and reason that we were created by God - is to give him glory. We reflect God's intention when we honor Him, which means we're listening to him, following the specific instructions He's given, and deepening the relationship we have with Him by spending time with Him. At the same time, dishonoring God occurs when we do the opposite. When confronted with a choice, make the choice that gives God the most glory. You will walk in His protection and favor when you do.

Today, let’s give God ALL the glory, simply because He is worthy.

This morning, I prayed for you…praying that God cover you with His peace and his presence, that He confirm His Word in your spirit, that you receive His gift of peace and that you take time to wait and listen in His presence. Your spirit will experience healing and you’ll come face to face with The One who has brought you through fire and flood and into rich fulfillment when you dwell in peace.

I want to remind someone today that God is drawing you close to Him. That’s the pull that you’ve been wondering why you’ve been feeling. I’ve found that’s why I sometimes wake up very early in the morning over and over, even though I wanted to keep sleeping. I’ve learned that this is God’s way of calling me to come sit in His presence, and when I follow, blessings follow.

One of the primary ways I learned to become healthy and whole was by combining the power of BEing and DOing. If you've been with me for a while, you know the equation:

BE + DO = HAVE

I learned to speak the right words over myself, out loud (it makes a difference when you learn to DECLARE)

I learned to do the right actions intentionally, because the pain of not doing so cost too much for me. Plus, I learned that you don't have to get to the edge in order to make a healthy decision for yourself.

You're actually demonstrating healthy, spiritual mature perspectives when you can see the options with clarity and make the right decision before you get to the breaking point.

I AM healthy and whole. You ARE healthy and whole. Now, just allow your physical experience to catch up with your spiritual experience.

💜 God's love is with us, even when we are going through a challenging or difficult time. Psalm 9:9

💜 God's love is eternal, it lasts forever. Isaiah 54:10

💜 God's love is gentle, we can find rest in Him. Matthew 11:28-29

💜 We cannot be separated from God's love. Romans 8:38-39

As we affirm 2023, we can embrace confidence - not in our own abilities, but in God's abilities first, thanking Him for empowering us to do all things through Christ, where we are strengthened.

2023 will be powerful, it will be clarifying, it will be elevated and you - and everything concerning you - will be in God's hands.

S 3, E 10: What is the anointing? It simply means FAVOR. Biblically, to be anointed is something of great significance, as it symbolizes the Lord’s favor. What God has put in motion with you cannot be undone. Any door the Lord has opened MUST remain open according to His will for you.

This is why you can rest. This is why you can rejoice! What God has for you is outside of man’s construct, and it’s because you are favored...you are ANOINTED!

Season 3, Ep. 9:  What you say about yourself and how you feel about yourself is so important. The literal fact that you’re still here that is a miracle. You have been presented by God, and you are ENOUGH. There was nothing you had to do to earn His love. So - if He did it before for you, know that He can do it again.

When you accept what God says about your value, you’ll also receive a changed mind, stronger spirit and an enriched perspective about you are in Christ. You are enough, according to God. 

Join me in boldly asking for something from life today that you once thought was impossible. Pray a specific prayer. Receive the belief that you are enough. You can be yourself with God. He knew you before the world began, and He calls you loved and enough so that you can begin doing the same...and that IS enough.

Part of maturity as a woman is learning to release people from your expectations while simultaneously upleveling your circle AND maintaining healthy boundaries. There ARE people who can match your level of passion and drive - you just have to place yourself in the position to find them. The aha moment for me - the FREEDOM - was in understanding that everyone’s word isn’t created equal, therefore, my expectation needed to be placed selectively. Even more, the ultimate place for me to rest my full expectation was in Christ. Christ is the only undeniable deliverer on promises to you! (Drop an AMEN! below if you felt that!)

Being free causes you to flow better. Others will find peace in your presence as you release expectations. God is working on them, so you don’t have to! You’ll relax into the stability that wisdom brings, because you’ll know who to go deeper with, and who can be left on the other side of your boundaries…and expectations.

Healthy love combined with healthy boundaries allows us all to come up together, with the strength, experiences and knowledge we each need to succeed. Surround yourself with people who know this...who believe this!

Season 3, Ep. 6:  When you are close enough to hear and be obedient to His word, the key to provision in every area of your life is brought to you. Deuteronomy 28 says that when you are obedient you will:

• Be blessed going in and coming out
• Everything you touch will be blessed
• Even enemies can’t defeat you
• God will establish you as His

In His presence is this kind of relationship. Who else needs this in your life!? Let’s take every possible moment today to glorify God, relying on His strength to bring us through, and let’s start by dwelling in His presence.

Season 3, Ep. 5: God works so differently than we do. I used to look at my goals and say “this is what I want, and this is how I’m going to get there.” I’ve since learned WISDOM. I've learned that God’s way is better than anything I could ever come up with. Now I look at what my goals are and ask God - are these the goals you have for me? I’m more than willing to let go of all of my “good ideas” for one “God idea.”
.
When things look reckless in your life, wisdom reminds you that God’s divine word will still prevail. The real truth is that you are in God’s hands. Your life and everything you care about is in God’s hands. I pray that a sense of peace and power wash over your spirit while you read these words, washing away all the fear and doubt. Rest your mind from all of that thinking, & think instead on God’s truths for this season- here are a few to get started with:

Season 3, Ep. 4: Praying for a release over our hearts and minds today, with a revelation that enlightens us to WHO WE REALLY ARE in Christ. When you catch the idea of who you really are, you also realize just how much is on the line for your future, and you start believing that you were truly meant to excel at life.

Once you begin moving in this direction, you can't do the same things you used to do. You've been called to elevate! You lose your taste for things that used to satisfy, your palette is maturing.

Season 3, Ep. 3: I am believing in the possibilities, simply because we serve a good good God! God works in beautiful ways in our lives, reminding us that He’ll complete the good work He’s started in us. If you've ever wondered, "What am I really here for?" Or, “Is my life worth anything?” It’s so reassuring to know that God will do in you what He said He would do.

How do you know that God will do it? How can you be assured that everything we’re going through isn’t just “life” happening and that there isn’t a purpose behind it all?

A few ways that God reassures us are below:
1. He’s faithful to His Word. “God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24
2. He’s not a man that He should lie. “God is not a man that He should lie...” Numbers 23:19
3. He sent Jesus who sacrificed His life for a purpose - YOU. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Today, know that you are empowered to keep the faith! Finish the race that’s before you, whether that’s a project at work, raising that child, fostering that relationship, getting healthy again...whatever is set before you, know that you have what it takes to finish it, simply because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

In your morning devotions, ask God to show you how special your life is to Him - He loves you and will be WITH you, keeping you and blessing your life to be FULL of meaning...simply because you mean that much to Him. Believe in the possibilities!

Season 3, Ep. 2: I am believing in divine synchronicities because I know that we serve an extraordinary God.

Through God, all things are possible for us, and when we surrender to God, we open the door for the tremendous, the wonderful and the awe-inspiring.

Divine synchronicities flourish in a hope-filled environment. Your hope has kept you believing beyond even your ability to believe. This is in part because God has anchored your hope in Him, according to Hebrews 6:19. Your power and confidence is sourced, in part, by this amazing hope and your own tremendous ability to decide and create beautiful possibilities in your life.

You CAN believe and hope for the best every day, and KNOW at the end of the day that this is exactly what happened – regardless of if you have the answers or if you even understand. You, doing your best, is all that it takes, when you have this hope, because God is always working out His best for you, causing synchronous experiences to occur in your life.

Season 2, Ep. 15: It's when you believe in your own gifts that you begin to really prosper. It's about what comes naturally to you that typically you don't really see as a gift. At Renew Retreat last year, I had each attendee turn to each other and share what they were proud of about themselves. So many times we downplay what we do well at and I'm here to tell you - that doesn't serve anyone. In order to play full out, to bring your best to the table, your gifts need to be shared and others need to know, so that they know how to use you!
.
The Bible confirms this in Proverbs 18:16 when it shares what happens when you have gifts that you use - it says that your gifts bring you before great people. God uses other people to bless you...but without you sharing your gifts with others, how can that happen? It's your time. It's time for you to affirm your gifts and talents to use them for the Kingdom of God and this podcast episode helps you to do just that.

What's holding you back? Here's 2 common thoughts that women who aren't playing full out with their gifts are worried about and how to get over them:
1. My gift isn't perfect: The only way to perfect your gift is to use it. My gift is teaching, however in the beginning I resisted doing it on Instagram because I couldn't see the audience. I've been teaching for years, and always vibe off the audience. Speaking to an unknown/unseen group of people really unnerved me. But God kept pushing me to do it and the very first #10DAYPRAYANDSLAY was manifested. Fast-forward 3 years and so much has come out of that one "yes" - from the @youversion Bible app plan and even this podcast!

2. I'm not ready: Let me share something with you - you won't ever be ready. Everything in your life won't be perfect when you start. There will always be competing priorities, distractions and most likely, you'll have to manage more than one full-time responsibility at a time. The path won't be clear when you start - YOU clear the path as you walk. This is something that isn't unique to you - we ALL go through it! The only way to get ready is to just start.
.

Season 2, Ep. 14: More and more, I am appreciating the opportunity to intentionally relax. After you've done the work, it's what you deserve. But often, we as women don't take this time to ourselves, to recharge, rest our minds and walk in our peace. 

However God has a different plan. The word outlines many scriptures describing how Jesus has given us His peace, how we are led by still waters and made to lay down in green pastures (symbolizing the abundance of walking with God) and how God gives His beloved rest and sleep. This week's episode focuses on the mental chatter that so many of us have and I wrote this one to help us take that deep breath (take one...go ahead) and calm our spirits and our souls.

I take the time to relax today. I am assured that this is a right of mine because God said so. This isn't one I'm going to leave on the table...we ALL need this. No matter what today has been like, right now, in this moment, I decide to let it all go...and relax.

Season 2, Ep. 13: Let's normalize wealth among Christians. So many "religious" messages portray wealth and financial abundance among Christians as a bad thing. One of the main reasons, I believe, is because they want to make sure that we know that money shouldn't be more important than God - and to be real - a lot of people elevate money to the highest position in their lives. It has become the most important thing, when relationship with God, honoring Him with our lives and following His direction should remain most important.
.
We've got to mature into that understanding and then accept that I can keep God as my priority and continually reorient my life around Him daily AND be financially abundant. AND be wealthy. I believe that Christians should be wealthy, to fulfill the practical needs of the Kingdom and God's instruction in the world. Just a few of the things that wealth makes easier include:
Leaving an inheritance for your children's children - Proverbs 13:22
Taking care of the disadvantaged - James 1:27
.
Let's normalize Christian wealth. Let's do it in a wise way that keeps Christ and His direction in the center. Let's understand that our financial blessing is both for us and for us to direct with wise stewardship in the world. It's ok for you to be financially abundant, and in fact, it's a reward symbolizing your obedience according to Deuteronomy 28:1-14. Verse 12 says "The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none."

Season 2, Ep. 12: I never thought of judgement as an idol. But really - it is. Every time you judge yourself, your life, your job, your children, your money, your man, your lack of a man - every single time, you're paying homage to an idol of self-judgement. It's time to come out of that pattern. It's time to begin being gentle with yourself.
.
Being gentle with yourself is the opposite of the mental beat down that you may have been doing to yourself, for whatever reason. Don't you deserve love? Don't you deserve a peaceful life? Don't you deserve to become aligned with God's best? YES?? YES!!! Yes, you do. And the way you do that is by cultivating gratitude in your life.
.
Use this week's episode to be thankful - to exercise gratitude. Use it to begin creating a new stream of thought. Stop paying homage to the idol of judgement. Stop visiting its throne and decide to let God be God and start being thankful for everything He's done. Truly be thankful by thinking about what you're grateful for more than you think about what you're not.

He has more for you. Receive it.

Season 2, Ep. 11: God calls you beautiful today, simply because you are His workmanship - His creation - and when He looks at you, He is pleased. You don't have to change who you are, and you don't have to add anything to yourself in order to please God. He loves you deeply...overwhelmingly...just because you are, and simply because you exist.
.
Many times, the media, people and other sources try to make you believe that you aren't enough. They tell you that you need more...more money, more beauty, more love, more fitness, more (fill in the blank) --when the truth is, God created you with exactly what you needed, already inside of you. In fact, He's placed one of His greatest treasures in you according to the Bible, which shares that the Kingdom of God is within every one of us.

.
Luke 17:21 says, "They can't say, 'Here it is!' or 'There it is!' You see, the Kingdom of God is within you." What's in the Kingdom of God? Peace, love, resources, answers, ideas, and EVERYTHING YOU NEED. God developed His Kingdom, and then encased it inside of something very precious to Him...YOU. You are special to God. God calls you beautiful for that very reason.

Beautiful woman, know today that God is accompanying you, and He's pleased with you. He smiles when He looks at you, and He calls you beautiful. Decide today to place your heart, your hope, your dreams, your scars, your brokenness and your healed places at the feet of Jesus. He sees you with everything you are carrying, and God calls you beautiful. Receive the love and adoration He has for you today.

Season 2, Ep. 10: In my own personal morning meditation recently, God showed me how when I deliberately enjoy a particular area of my life, it thrives - but when I allow an area of my life to consistently aggravate me to the point where I do not enjoy it, it is not successful at all. Many people credit gratitude as being the secret key to creating the life of your dreams, but I think it's a little more than that. Enjoying your life in one area or another on purpose is possible, even in a difficult situation. It is that energy you infuse into that area of your life that literally GIVES it LIFE, causes it to thrive, and returns more and more enjoyment to you. This energy of enjoying is what you need in every area of your life. "Enjoyment" is "active gratitude."
.
Do a quick exercise and write down the key areas of your life that you are successful in on the left side of a page and draw a line, and on the other side, write the areas that you need more success in, or are not doing well at. Flip the paper over, and then write the areas down that you enjoy on the left side, and those areas that you do not enjoy on the right. You're sure to see a strong correlation between the two.
.
This is truly an "aha" moment, because it shows you that in order for you to CREATE the success you NEED or WANT in an area of your life, all you need to do is find a way to start enjoying it!
.
Beautiful, how can you create enjoyment and have the success you want today? You have the power to create the life you want--and enjoy it!

Season 2, Ep. 9:  There’s a lot of beauty in a peaceful and confident spirit.  As children of God, this is our right and privilege!  God wants to give you His highest and best life.  He really doesn’t need you staying up all night worrying about it or allowing it to dominate your thoughts during the day to make it happen.

Running through questions, again and again, starts out as simply being inquisitive, and then it grows into worry, which opens the door to the spirit of fear. Once you decide to allow the spirit of fear in your life, it pushes you further from the perfect will of God.

When God leads you, you may FEEL fear, but you don’t have to RESIDE in fear.  Even though you initially feel fear, the word of God says that you can turn your concerns over to Him. He will give you peace that surpasses all understanding. (Phil. 4:7) You CAN rest your heart in quiet confidence today.

God knows what He’s doing.  He WILL give you instructions at the right time, and asks for your obedience and trust in the meantime. This is a practice, meaning you may not get it perfect the first time – give your best to God, and He will come along side you and assist you.

If you’re tempted to take it into your own hands, continually give that to God today as well. God is ALWAYS working things together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose! (Rom. 8:28)

Just because you don’t see what God is doing doesn’t mean that He’s not moving. Rest your heart in quiet confidence that God’s got you.

S2, Ep. 8: In our pursuit of happiness, we're touching on truths that you can use to get, maintain and heighten your awareness of your own happiness. One way you can do this is by allowing yourself to enjoy the present.

It's counterproductive to go through this life allowing things from the past to occupy your mind. When you're constantly focused on the past, every present moment slips by and also becomes the past. Then you're left to wonder about what happened in that moment, and the next moment, and so on...and all of these moments slip by that you weren't able to optimize because of where your focus was. We are to forget the past things and press FORWARD.

.
Alternatively, it's also possible to sit and daydream about the future constantly. The Bible says that no one knows the day or hour of Jesus' return except for the Father. Just as true is the fact that you don't know significant things that the Father has planned for your future - so you just have to give it to Him.
.
Beautiful, where in your life are you too focused on the past or on the future? Stop, and allow yourself to experience the gift of the present--your beautiful life! Realize that all you have is the present. You no longer can affect the past, and your future is in God's hands, not yours. Do you see the beauty in your now? The comfort in the quietness of your morning devotions in His presence? All you have been given is opportunity for happiness NOW. Allow that to flow!

S2, Ep. 7: Are you so focused on yourself and your feelings that you are disconnecting and can't see your purpose and what God has directed you to do? The enemy gets the greatest win when he consumes our lives by causing us to only be focused on our selves. It's one of his greatest tools against you, to cause you to think more of your self, your goals and your desires than is healthy. This hyper-focus makes desensitizes you to the gentle nudges God sends you throughout your day, that help you to flow in your purpose.

God gets the greatest glory when we mature enough spiritually to see beyond ourselves and serve Him with our purpose. You can be responsible with your life, while still giving God those things that concern you throughout the day. This type of disposition says: "There are things that concern me Lord, but I know you already have a solution to them... I'll rest in your will until I see your purpose fulfilled in my life!" You are literally GIVING every single concern over to God and choosing to enjoy the now!

You have power, peace and security- literally the BEST life when you choose to remain in His will and in His purpose for you, because the spirit of God IN you is FULFILLED!

Today, look beyond your Self, your fears, your past, your pain and see God's amazing present and future for you, His peace for you, His joy and laughter for you, His love for you. He came so that we could live abundant lives. Choose life. God wants you to see your purpose and enjoy it!

S2, Ep. 6: Did you know that your purpose is not something you "find" but something you are shown? Often, you'll hear people saying that they have to find their purpose. However, God already crafted your purpose--He assigned it to you when He created you and literally "set you apart" for it before you were born. Just rest in this knowledge today, that what you are to accomplish, God has already mapped out for you. Your success in life will be largely based on your belief in this, otherwise known as you faith.
.
Since faith is belief followed by action, the question is: what actions can you take to go deep into God's purpose for you? When you invest in your purpose, you are committing to your belief in what God has already said is possible for you. Investing in your purpose looks like spending time with God to study His word, thereby gaining the wisdom to apply to your life, including your purpose. Practice making investments by seeking God. This literally means reading the Bible, praying about what God is showing you, watching for God's revelation of His word in your life and implementing what He's guiding you to do.

God appreciates when we seek His wisdom and draw close to Him. James 4:8 says to "Come near to God and he will come near to you. " It is only in God's revelation of His purpose to you that you really can go deep into God's purpose for your life. As you walk with God and do more and more of what pleases Him, you will see your purpose more clearly.

.
Invest in your purpose by establishing your belief in God, your trust in God, your value of yourself, your dedication to fulfilling your purpose, and your love of life. Decide to relax, breathe and smile--God’s got you, and if He’s got you, EVERYTHING is going to work out in your favor.

Although this can be challenging to do, try to release the need to know and understand everything and stop trying to work your way into your blessing. You'll be filled with so much peace in your life, relaxing and knowing that God is in control. He knows the way, and if you’ll stop and listen, He’ll guide your steps.

S2, Ep. 4: The successful, happy woman knows that she must keep learning, growing and improving upon her current knowledge in order to reach new levels, and a part of that is supported by walking with wise women.
.
My mentor teaches that everyone should have 3 groups of influence: one group of people they are pouring their knowledge into, one group of people they fellowship with on their level, and one group of people they can go to and learn from. On each level, you’re giving and you’re receiving – a little more or less depending on the group, but still, you are enhanced from the relationships.
.
Group #1: Your mentees: Develop a group of people who you can consistently give back to. Did you know that giving releases endorphins in your brain, making you happy? You can lift your entire mood by giving something to someone else. Shifting your mental focus from you to others is actually healthy and good for you. Having a relationship with someone who looks to you for guidance ensures that you have an outlet to give and keeps you on top of your own personal learning and research.

Group #2: Your level: Your friends and who they are say a lot about you. Many times, you can grow so much that you outgrow your old friends. Usually, you will then have to redefine or release that relationship.
However, you know you have the right group of friends when you have trust and mutual feedback. You should feel confident that this group of people will both have your back, but also tell you when you are wrong so that you can improve.

Group #3: Your mentor: Having a mentor is extremely important. Not only should single women seek out (wisely) an older spiritual father if they don’t have an active Christian father in their lives, but having an older spiritual mother or woman wiser than you is essential to your growth. You need someone who can help you along the way, who you can call when you need confirmation or guidance.

Having these three groups in your life makes you well-rounded and happy. Keep increasing your wisdom, Beautiful!

S2, Ep. 3:  God's specialty is making a way out of no way for you. Take a moment to reflect on the fact that He does it all the time, causing you to see things that you never saw before, and understand things you would've never understood before.

As you walk with Him, He blesses you to come into higher knowledge that you didn't even know about. And as a result, you're kept from harms way and ushered into a greater season of life.

.
To receive the best from God, yield your way of thinking to Him, and let go of your desire to understand everything that's happening.

.
Consider this--if His ways are higher than yours, how could you possibly understand everything anyway? When we elevate our own will over God, the things we put together simply fall apart. Acquiesce to God's will for you, and receive His best...He's making a way out of no way for you, creating streams where there was only desert, creating abundance where there seemed to only be lack. This is both your blessing and your right as God's child!

S2, Ep. 2: I don’t know about you, but when I think of the GRACE of God over my life, I am literally overwhelmed by the depth of God’s love for me...aren’t you? Despite everything that happened in your past--all the wrong decisions, all the harm, all the negativity--God still gives us grace by welcoming us with open arms.

How does God's grace and love really cover it all? In the very beginning in Genesis, God confers with Himself, and says, “Let us make man in our own image, in our likeness...” (Genesis 1:26) The Bible also says that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God...” (John 1:1) These two verses together, combined with the fact that God is all-knowing and “declared the end from the beginning” (Isaiah 46: 9-10) tell us that God KNEW what we would get into. He KNEW the mistakes, He KNEW about what you’ve been thinking that was too big to bring to Him--yet, He created us anyway. He chooses to love and continues to show us grace through it all.

Beautiful, nothing is too big for your God. No past is too dirty. No mistake too devastating. Come deeply into His love today...His Grace is covering it all.

S2, Ep. 1: Did you know that gratefulness will carry you right into your new season? It's the attitude shift that changes the way you see things, and the key to getting there is speaking grateful words even before you feel it. Before you know it, you're SINCERELY grateful. But, how are you to be grateful in a season that isn't something positive to you?

How are you supposed to "glory in tribulation" as Paul says in Romans 5:3? When something negative or bad happens, it hurts. Many times, it's completely valid to be sad. Sometimes you're even tempted to be mad that God even allowed it to happen. This is where we go deeper into our understanding of what being grateful is all about. It's taking a situation and allowing gratefulness for what you DO have--what God HAS provided--to take over. You don't ignore the situation, you shift into a grateful attitude.

The Word says to come boldly before God's throne in prayer and get the help you need. The right prayer will make you stronger and confident when you finish, because of the help the Holy Spirit provides! Here's an example of a powerful prayer: "Lord, I'm thankful that you hear me. I'm grateful that you care, and that you promised to fulfill the desires of my heart. I'm so happy that your timing is perfect & that you're walking with me right now. Thank you for the beauty in my life now, and the continued beauty and happiness within all of my relationships." Let gratefulness usher you into your new season!

Although we are made in the image of God and are creators, we are limited in our abilities because of our subjection to God. The amazing thing about this is that God has supplied all of our needs, as well as the ability to manifest our desires by our decisions.

Choose today to walk with God and walk in the truth, because the truth shall make you free. (John 8:31-32.) God is the way, the TRUTH and the light (John 14:6). As you develop your relationship with God, you begin seeing yourself the way God sees you… you begin recognizing yourself in Him. This affects they way you think of yourself, which is so important because our thoughts become things. The ultimate manifestation of our reality is, thus, sourced from our thoughts and belief.

Ep. 20:  You are so valuable to God, that He gives you His light to share with those around you.  But, have you ever felt like God sent you into places where people didn't fully recognize the value that you brought? You may have given your best efforts in your job, a relationship, or in ministry, and still left feeling unappreciated.

Know that God sends you are places where your gifts are NEEDED - not necessarily the places where you'll be celebrated.  Even Jesus was celebrated in some places, but despised and unappreciated in others.

As Christians, we have to separate our feelings about our assignment from fulfilling our assignment.  Many people in the Bible didn't feel like their assignment was valuable - from Naomi in her acceptance of Ruth's love and friendship to Moses when he was frustrated with the children of Israel.

Remember, your value doesn't come from the people God sends you TO, your value comes from the God IN you. You are so valuable to Him. As you are faithful, working hard, and following God, He will cause your entire life to produce a beautiful return on your value.

Ep. 17: A critical part of maintaining our peace and controlling our emotions is knowing that our completion, our attainment and our success in this life is not all up to us. Isn’t that a refreshing thought? God WILL complete the good work He started in you.

Every situation you’re in is one that you’re in for a reason - so just KNOW that these situations are causing you to reap good things in your life when you approach them from a place of knowing that you have a divine right to peace and you’re going to make the decisions you need to make to protect that peace, as led by God. The truth is that you are in God’s hands. Your life and everything you care about is in God’s hands. I pray that a sense of peace and power wash over your spirit while you read these words, washing away all the fear and doubt. Ep. 16: An important, beautiful quality of womanhood is learning to give and receive love freely and openly. There are many things that can block our love "receptors," primarily things that have happened in the past. However, remember that God has instructed you to "forget the things of the past" and focus on what is in front of us, and the greatest positive force you have on your side everyday is God Himself...and God IS love.
.
Prioritizing God means to prioritize love. We can do this by giving and receiving love from others, which begins with giving and receiving love to God first, and then allowing Him to show you how to give and receive love to yourself. If it were an equation, it would look like this: Love for God + Love for Myself = My ability to give and receive love with others. Where ever you are in the equation, it's easy to retrace your steps back to the beginning so that you can ultimately have the love in your life that you want.
.
Developing love for God: This only comes from spending actual quality time in God's presence. Learn to listen for and look for God throughout your day, and acknowledge Him where you see Him present. As a woman, much of your ability to manage your emotions and prepare for your day will depend on your preparation in the presence of God.
.
Developing your love for yourself: Prioritize your spiritual and emotional health by releasing yourself from the bondage of unforgiveness. This begins the process to loving yourself. Allowing only the one who has earned the right to your body to experience it is another form of self-love. Yes, it goes beyond mantras and affirmations to actions that showcase that YOU believe you are special and unique.
.
Cultivate your womanhood by examining where you are giving love and where you are receiving love, and determine if those channels are flowing the way you really desire them too. You are empowered to love...the greatest gift to you from God.
.

Ep. 14: Good morning Beautiful! Have you ever believed that wealth and security belongs to everyone else, but you? Or perhaps at some point, you may have felt as if someone else has the “secret sauce” making things happen for them that you just don’t have? The truth is that wealth is your divine right, but you are the one responsible for accessing it. God has already given you the best help you can get, and placed it all inside the gift of...YOU. Most of the time, YOU are the help you are looking for.

What do I mean? Deuteronomy 8:18 gives us a picture: "It is God who gives us the power to obtain wealth". It doesn't say that God gives us the wealth (all good things, not just money), but that He gives US the POWER to OBTAIN the wealth. If God has given you the power to get something that you need, then it is you who has to actually USE the power to get to where you need to go. I believe this power is necessary for you to be fully what you are meant to be in this world.

Ep. 13: There is such beauty to be found in God, and peace that calms your heart for whatever you may be going through. God gives you beauty for your ashes, the Bible says, and it's all for your restoration. All you need to do is ask and receive.

Many can co-sign with the statement that sometimes life doesn't work out the way we thought it would. And many women can also agree that if you just keep walking with God, He is so gracious and merciful, that He will bring you full circle in your experiences. He will complete the good work He started in you. He will use your previous situation to cause you to get prepared for what you've been asking Him for. But, you have to walk with Him. You have to decide to be obedient. You have to have one-on-one time with Him. The beauty in restoration you're waiting on is found at the foot of His throne, a place you reach when you go to God in prayer and meditation on a regular basis.

Beautiful, don't get bitter from the situation you went through. That's simply NOT the end of the story. You have the divine right to ask - and receive - MORE.
.
That challenge you experienced was only the beginning of the story. That fight, that loss, that deception, that death - it was designed by the enemy to LOOK like the end, to cause you to loose your hope. Don't believe it! Our God is such a GOOD God. He loves you so richly and deeply, and He cares for you. Keep asking and receiving. Keep walking with Jesus today, and let Him show you the complete, beautiful work He has for your life!

Ep 9: What we say about ourselves and how we feel about ourselves is so important. When I was working my way back to myself, after losing myself in 12 years of marriage, the hard work of changing what I said about myself to myself was in front of me daily…but I was not alone. I knew God was with me, and I felt my future calling me into greater. Can you relate??

Over time, I saw how my own thinking had contributed so much to the lack of self-love, the deep hurt and unforgiveness and the pain of not understanding what was happening in my life. to my own surprise - because I thought nothing could be larger than these mountains - I came into an understanding of God's love for me, which was bigger than the doubts and fear of change that was in front of me.

I was challenged to begin changing my words, which was new and hard, because I didn't believe any of it at first. It seemed so crazy to see myself as beautiful. As enough. As needed. As my words changed, my thoughts changed. I began seeing my new thoughts being reflected back to me (confirmation). You are more than enough. Your beauty radiates. You are chosen.

Ep 8: The Bible shares that the steps of a good man are ordered by God, but it's possible to miss God’s timing because of simply not trusting God to do what He said He was going to do.
.
Why is this? As you begin to trust God and recognize His provision in your life, the enemy will do his best to provide counter direction and counter provision. This simply happens because anytime you take a step deeper into God, it frustrates the enemy and he tries to get you to reverse your direction. He wants to cause confusion, he wants you to overthink things until you become so indecisive that you never move forward and he wants your life to be purposeless. This counter-direction can show up in your life through advice from someone who does not have God’s wisdom or through your own desires being so strong that they outweigh your commitment to God’s desires for you, and more.
.
But once again, thank God for being God! He has promised in His word to provide a way of escape, and give you power to win, so that you will always have reason to believe God’s timing and His report for your life. Remember...
.
1. You are designed to WIN: The Word says that “we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus” Romans 8:37

1. You will always have an option to NOT follow the enemy’s direction: “And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.” 1 Corinthians 10:13

2. God will give you wisdom so you can discern the right advice: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God…” James 1:5

   Beautiful, God is on YOUR side. Think about that. Now, walk through your day today like you know that you have the Creator of the Universe walking with you…because you do. You can trust God.

Ep 7: When's the last time you looked forward to Monday? It's possible when you're doing work you love. Sometimes it is right in front of you and sometimes you have to search for it. It takes a combination of passion, purpose and satisfaction and it took me years to recognize that the very thing God had placed in front of me - the thing I loved - was exactly what I needed...BWFwoman.
.
Doing work you love all comes down to examining your gifts, your skills and the unique combination of what you overcame in your life to find your sweet spot. Your gifts are those things you do well naturally - things you may have taken for granted in the past. Your skills come from skills or work experience, and the things you overcame allow you to have the empathy that people who are where you were really need.
.
Walking through divorce was one of the most difficult things that I never knew I would make it through. I had no idea that out of the pain of that process that God would create space in my heart for healing...not just for me, but for so many other women who needed it.
.
It's easy to know your gifts and skills, but once you include what you overcame, finding the path to the work you love becomes clear. What do you have that you can offer the world?

Ep 6: To be accepted is a foundational human desire. So many women want this, but don’t know where to begin. I believe that affirmations aligned with the Word of God support the mindset that helps develop the right discernment, opportunity for a healthy relationship.
.
Spiritual alignment, likemindedness, fun and passion is what most of us want, and there’s nothing wrong with that…but like I mentioned last week, don’t expect something of him that you aren’t willing to bring to the table yourself. Ultimately, that imbalance will always keep the thing you want from becoming permanent in your life. How many have seen that in a relationship before??
.
What you want, you must possess. If you want him to enjoy being around you, you must enjoy your own company. If you want him to be loyal and faithful, you must be loyal and faithful - get it? Establish your values, then grow in a community or get a mentor and gain the knowledge you need to make the decisions about relationships that reflect your values. It’ll be an investment you won’t regret!

Ep 5: 2 of my best friends are on the front lines as healthcare workers. Several members of manifestHER Circle are as well. I’m sure you know someone who’s serving so heroically during this time as well. When I talked to them, they’re concerned. Concerned about bringing #covid19 back home to their families. They are thinking about all the people who are affected and figuring out ways to help. They aren’t even thinking about themselves. 

All of these people were on my mind when recording this podcast, I AM Covered and Protected.

To all of our public servants, healthcare workers, and those who are working in food service right now, thank you. As you listen to this guided affirmation and meditation, I hope you’re comforted and know that you are appreciated!

Ep 4: This is your Anti-Coronavirus meditation...because who’s had a rough day (or two…or three) since this entire #coronavirus situation went down? I’ve been about 70-80% this week to be honest, which isn’t bad, but isn’t great. Why? Because I’m human and it happens sometimes.
.
With the changes happening around homeschooling my children (thank GOD for teachers!), making adjustments to my business to be virtual and becoming a short-order cook - all of which I enjoy but also interrupts my work productivity on a whole different level, it’s ME who needs to make the adjustment.
.
Often, that’s really it. It’s changing my perspective that works. It’s not about the situation changing. And if you really think about it, you have more control over yourself than you have over the situation anyway.
.
I wrote I AM calm and confident and immediately felt my 70% start increasing. My prayer is that when you listen to it, that it helps you feel better too.
.
Remember, emotions are energy in motion. Let’s protect our energy today sis.

Ep 3: I AM Rested and Secure. Do you struggle with sleep? Are you anxious or want to achieve deeper rest? Claim God's promises to keep you secure, and achieve rest for your body, mind and spirit.

Probably the best feedback so far about our new guided meditation podcast has been from women who were having trouble sleeping - either falling asleep or staying asleep through the night. Apparently, my voice is putting people to sleep in a good way!
.
I remember when I discovered the scripture in the Bible where God promises us sleep. I couldn’t believe that God actually cared so much about us that He made provisions for us to sleep well.
.
God cares about even the things that seem too small for Him to notice. I started speaking the verse below every night, and before I knew it, I was falling asleep every night. God’s promises WORK for us! Amen??!
