Every episode of Unraveling the Veil has been a journey of growth and self-discovery. I started with uncertainty and fear, wondering if anyone would listen. But look at how far we’ve come together! The challenges? Real. The rewards? Even greater. When I reflect on my path, I see how embracing my fears has led to empowerment and the ability to help others. I want you to know: you are a miracle, deserving of love and acceptance just as you are. Your journey matters, and it’s okay to take the time you need to grow. What’s the one step you can take today to honor yourself? Let’s keep evolving together!
Episode 41 invites you to see how my past experience created an emotional trigger that caused me to take a detour. Our youngest dog recently had a health scare, and this episode covers how that health scare triggered previous unresolved emotional trauma to arise. I thought it was a poignant example of how our emotional triggers create blind spots (or blockages) that prevent us from moving forward in the most direct way possible.
Episode 40 - This episode is simply sharing my experiences with pondering what it is inside us all that animates us in life. To me, there has always been a powerful feeling of a prominent absence upon the death of someone. But is that absence only the stopping of the physical and chemical reactions humans experience? Only we can decipher that for ourselves. Also, I have included the audio from my YouTube video about my experience with pet reincarnation. It's hard to lose a pet. Human life can be so much longer than that of our pet companions. Is it possible that their soul could return to us to continue teaching and evolving with us? This video's topic fits well with the topic I felt drawn to bring forth this Easter season. Wishing you all much love and light to you and yours!
This episode is inspired by Disney's Mufasa the Lion King. It assumes that you understand the story of The Lion King. When I saw this movie, I knew I had to create this podcast about it. This podcast episode offers a chance for you to reflect on your life and how you handle difficult situations. Do you avoid putting off the difficult conversations for as long as possible? How do you respond to scenarios where you have been deeply betrayed? Have you ever responded from a place of pain/anger/defensiveness? Everyone makes mistakes. How do you react when you have done something that you regret? How do you respond when someone else has made a mistake against you? Do you try to heal the wounds inflicted, or do you carry them around with you?
This episode is dedicated to all my faithful listeners. It's my way of reaching out to you and being here with you once again during the changing of the seasons. Let us join together to release all that no longer serves us and seize the new opportunities that are being presented to us. You are not alone. We are all in this together, and what may look like the worst thing to happen can be the best thing. Flip the script.
Episode 37 is about you realizing that you are your own guru. You are the captain of your ship, and only you know what is best for the life you want to curate. Trust yourself, embrace your authenticity, and follow your heart and intuition to the life you've always wanted to lead. You can do this.
Episode 36 is about being aware of the stories that you live your life by. Are you painting yourself as the victim or leading character role in your life? The words you tell yourself matter; they are your paintbrush. Whether spoken aloud or in your thoughts, they direct your brain on where to look and how to perceive people, things, and situations. Your internal belief systems are being reflected in your external world. Change your inner dialogue, thoughts, and beliefs, and your external world will change to match. It is the law of assumption. As Joe Dispenza said, "Your outer world is a reflection of your inner reality." What kind of life are you going to paint for yourself?
Episode 35 covers the primary reflections that we face each December. Spirit told me to get on and start talking, so I did that. I touch on many people's end-of-year reflections when they think back to their New Year's resolutions or goals that they had for the year. Spirit wanted to remind everyone to be more compassionate towards themselves and to remember that each individual is in charge of cultivating their own happiness. This episode covers goal setting, comparisons, success, mindful awareness, and a reminder that you are never on your journey alone. Spirit was adamant that I remind you as you go into this busy holiday season that your deceased loved ones are right there with you, celebrating along with all of you.
This episode was created as a reminder to check your beliefs to see if they still support you in becoming the person you want to be or if they are keeping you from becoming that version of yourself. Beliefs created at various times throughout our lifetime may not be able to support the person we are meant to become. This episode is an example of how easily these beliefs can be created. I hope this real-life experience can help provide you with an opportunity to question the story that quickly comes to mind the next time one of your beliefs has been challenged.
You’ve struck gold! This episode gives you an opportunity to reflect on your life as it currently is and see if there are any new paths you desire to take. Spirit presents us with the chance to choose to live a more intentional life. Guided by Spirit, you and I go on a journey together, where we are presented with the blueprint for the various steps that you'll face along the way to pursuing your heart's desire. Not only do they provide you with the blueprint, but they also give you little nuggets for staying centered and calm while navigating rugged terrain. This is a beautifully empowering message of the nonphysical’s unwavering love and support for us as we cultivate the kind of life we want to experience.
Episode 32 is about remembering who you are. You have the energy that created the entire universe flowing through you. The only limits on you are those you put on yourself. Drop the masks, costumes, and people-pleasing; stop trying to fit in when you were meant to stand out and show the world who you are. Your tribe can't show up until you do. Shine your light and let release the needs and expectations that have been placed upon your shoulders. You did not come here to live a life designed by others but to thrive in a life only you can create for yourself.
Today's episode ties the importance of all the previous lessons together by showing how they coalesce into cultivating a loving, strong, resilient, and balanced inner you. Spirit teaches us that the best way to navigate the impermanence of life is to be mindful of where you are placing your attachments and ideas of success, value, and merit. Are you basing these on things and people external to you, or are you basing them on the extraordinary person you have become?
In this episode, I ask you to consider what you would be willing to do for a million dollars. It seems everywhere we look, we see contests, games, and get-rich-quick schemes. This episode was created with love to give you the opportunity to examine your beliefs around money and your pursuit of it. It aims to bring awareness to the perspective that you are operating from with regard to this subject matter and whether that is beneficial or hindering your ultimate goals.
In this episode, I talk about love's incredible power to transcend everything, including death. I share my experiences and beliefs about where souls go when they leave their physical bodies. I also share the lessons that Spirit has taught me when I have difficulty processing why people die in the ways and ages they die. I hope this episode brings hope, love, and peace to people struggling to understand the death of a loved one and also helps you to see that physical death isn't a final ending to your connection with someone. It's merely a transition to a new kind of connection.
In episode 28, I share my recent discovery about how my past defense mechanisms still impact my current and future realities. I don't share these experiences to point out my failures but to demonstrate that healing from past issues doesn't happen overnight. Healing is a process, and it is done layer by layer. It requires self-forgiveness, love, and compassion as you continuously try to evolve and free yourselffrom past belief systems and habits. The fear of being criticized and judged keeps me from showing up consistently in the way that I long to show up. While I thought most of the exhaustion and burnout I discussed in episode 27 was due to an attachment to a specific outcome, I have realized that it was also caused by stifling my creativity and suppressing my gifts. Spirit also weighs in with messages of grace, trusting your intuition and inspirations, and knowing that they are supporting & loving you in all that you do.
In episode 27, I share a personal misadventure I experienced recently when I attached to a specific outcome instead of remaining open to the unlimited opportunities available. I convey the lessons that I have learned from this experience in hopes you can learn from it. If nothing else, I hope it allows you to see how "perceived failures or mistakes" offer you valuable lessons that are just part of your journey.
Episode 26 is an example of trusting in yourself and your spiritual community enough to take a leap of faith even when it doesn't make sense. It's a great example of the power of self-awareness. It's a powerful reminder that you reap what you sow, so make sure that you intentionally plant the type of seeds you want to experience in the future, as well as the kind of energy you want to send out into the Universe. This episode provides a great example of some of the concepts I have spoken about recently. A lot of the more recent episodes were prompted by this real-life experience. It helps my listeners know that I am right there with them, trying my best to apply these principles in my life.
Today's episode scratches the surface of concepts such as our perception of good vs. bad, yes vs. no, tragedy versus blessing in disguise. Who decides what is good or bad, and where did those concepts come from anyway? If we weren't so busy fighting and beating ourselves up for the aspects of ourselves that someone somewhere deemed bad/undesirable, what heights do you think you could reach? This episode was created with love to prompt the listeners to ask questions in their lives, such as how do I choose to move forward after my plans have not only gone awry but a perceived or real tragedy has struck? Do I believe in a higher power of some kind? If so, can I surrender my attachments/expectations about this situation to them and follow the guidance they provide? Can I surrender my perceptions enough to hear their messages clearly?
In this episode, I discuss some of the roadblocks to finding clarity. Sometimes, the universe provides you with multiple opportunities or maybe even one big decision, and it can be difficult to figure out which path is the right one for you at this time. Oftentimes, we get more confused the harder we try to find the "right" decision. In our pursuit, we find ourselves turning to others for advice or collecting more data to analyze. However, the more people we ask and the more data we collect, the more it seems like it’s only adding additional layers of confusion rather than the clarity we seek. This episode is about slowing down, and releasing the pressure to make the right decision, and releasing attachments to find the perfect path forward.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month here in the U.S. If you are struggling with suicidal thoughts in the U.S., please call or text 988. This episode is about honoring your feelings, whatever they are, even when you are trying to adopt a positive mindset. I've talked a lot about adopting a positive attitude, focusing your attention on the positive in a situation. However, there will be times in the roller coaster of life when you experience a scenario that makes you feel sad, grief, anger, etc. It's essential, to be honest with yourself about your feelings. You must show yourself that you love yourself, whether happy or sad. It's vital to demonstrate to yourself that you love yourself and will always love yourself no matter what you feel at a specific moment. This month's episode is about understanding how valuable you are as a person. It's about understanding that you are never alone, even though an inward revolution can feel lonely/isolated. You have a whole community of nonphysical friends/family/guides/angels/source standing by, waiting for the opportunity to assist you in creating the most magical journey you never thought possible. Spirit was strong in their desire for me to share this message of their constant love and support for you. Never give up on yourself; trust that you don't have to do it alone. You are such a beautiful soul on this planet, and the world is better with you in it. Be bold with your life and live every second as authentically as possible; you are exactly where you are meant to be.
For me, a good leader leads by example. My podcast episodes generally have a couple of techniques you can try to see if they help make your life easier. Recently, I have been asking Spirit to help me surrender the charges associated with my personal preferences, so I can live my life more fully in the present moment. They delivered me a weekend getaway full of opportunities to surrender, surrender, and surrender. I am sharing this experience with you in case they can help you better understand how the process can play out. Also, to remind you to be careful of what you ask for; just kidding, it wasn’t that bad!
For me, there always comes the point in creating/manifesting something new where I need to take a timeout. I love creating and get excited about the opportunity to produce something new. When a new idea inspires me to action, I easily get caught up in the excitement of it. I want to create and distribute it as soon as possible to inspire others or enjoy it. Today's episode is a reminder of the importance of patience and time to the creation/manifestation of something you want. New things/situations take time to come together. Would you like to find out you were going to have a baby this week and then have the baby the very next week? Most people would say absolutely not because there is much to do from conception to bringing that new bundle of joy home. However, if you can learn to love the entire process from the moment of inspired action to step 1, step 2, etc., all the way to the manifestation, life will be a more fun and enjoyable journey.
In episode 20, I discuss the importance of knowing what success means and looks like to you. I ask you to know precisely what you are looking for and why. It's easy to get caught up in pursuing success, especially if the success you seek comes with a crowd cheering you on. In those instances, things can quickly spin out of control when the tide turns, and the "success" you had achieved is no longer enough to hold your crowd's attention. I think that it's essential for you to be your biggest cheerleader instead of relying on other people's reactions towards you to dictate when you are a success or not. In this podcast, I give several examples of how our non-physical community can inspire others to help validate our worth in instances where an individual is struggling with finding it in themselves.
In episode 19, I discuss what a legacy means to me. This episode is about the desire to make a difference in the world, which will be felt long after we leave this Earth. I talk about how the desire can be so great that it can create a lot of stress and pressure in our life. Finally, I talk about how the best way to achieve this desire is to discover who we truly are, follow our heart's desires, and shine our authenticity in the world.
This episode is about self-confidence. Self-confidence is derived from within; it's not something we find outside ourselves or receive from an accomplishment we have achieved. Being self-confident means, you are willing to care more about following your intuition and honoring those impulses and internal feelings than anything external. We touch on how being confident in yourself means that you value yourself and recognize your ability to fulfill your heart's desires despite the self-doubt that tries to prevent you from doing so. It's about showing up for yourself and being willing to step outside of your comfort zone regardless of the outcome.
This episode is about discovering the role that our expectations and self-doubt can play in keeping us from living our life to the fullest. It's so easy to compare ourselves to others and find ourselves unworthy. Comparing our perception of someone else is damaging and unfair to you because you do not see the whole story. However, we often find ourselves doing just this, and by doing so, we feel inadequate to achieve our heart's desires and often give up on that dream. I offer examples from my life about how my expectations for life can sometimes hinder me from experiencing the fullness of the experience unfolding in front of me. I also offer an example of how my perception of fellow podcasters created enough doubt in me that I wondered if I should even create this podcast. Please join me today to unravel the chaos these two subjects create in your life.
This episode is an example of the incredible opportunities that can show up in your life when you choose to surrender your attachment to your current perspective. It speaks to how the trust and faith in yourself, your higher power, and your non-physical friends built upon can bring the most beautiful unexpected blessings into your life. I’ve wanted to introduce you to Ella, our Morkie family member, for quite some time. How she came to be with us is a story that I will never regret. By sharing her story with you, I hope you will gain insight into the process of how co-creating with the non-physical can appear in your life. I also hope it inspires you to consider releasing some resistance that your mind may have to intuitive nudges that you’re receiving.
This episode is an example of choosing to honor yourself despite fear. It’s about choosing to shine brightly in your imperfect authenticity because you choose to love and honor yourself more than the fear of rejection or criticism from others. This episode also speaks to the importance of working in collaboration with the Universe and higher power rather than against it and how strengthening and building the foundation of this relationship can change the course of your entire life. I’m very proud to release this episode, and I hope it resonates with you.
In this episode, In this episode, I discuss the ability that one's individual beliefs have. How I firmly believe that we have all the control over ourselves to determine which beliefs we will let continue to hinder our ability to reach our full potential and which we are ready to break free. We'll continually be given opportunities to release those beliefs that no longer serve us. So the question isn't how do we do this, but when are you going to choose to take the conscious step to decide today is the day that I drive this vehicle with love, faith, and trust instead of letting fear drive my life.
In Episode 13, I'm blessed to be accompanied by my mom. I am so excited to be able to share this podcast episode! At the beginning of my podcast, I said that I wanted to ask my family members to share their perspectives with you about the changes they've noticed about me in the last couple of years. I am so grateful that my mom was willing to step outside her comfort zone to come on here and share her view with you. We've already talked about perspectives and how important it is to understand that every person sees life through unique lenses. I feel honored and blessed to offer you this view through her eyes. In this episode, we touch on topics regarding parenting, having faith/trust in the universe, and my ability to enjoy and love the simple things in life more. I am excited about all of my podcast episodes, but there is something genuinely transcending, resonating, and healing in the conversation regarding parenting. Enjoy!
In Episode 12, I expand on some of the topics that we've discussed previously. I give more examples of how deliberately choosing where we focus changes our point of attraction and what manifestations surround us. I dive deeper into how easily we are influenced by external energies and provide several examples of how these can play havoc in our life especially if we are caught unaware. The energies aren't entirely bad, though, because they can help identify vibrations within our energetic field that we want to clear. After all, how can you clear something that you aren't aware you have? This episode is about how different your life can be when you make the changes discussed throughout this podcast. It's an update about my life.
Episode 11 is a special Memorial Day Tribute episode to honor those who served our country. I had the privilege to share stories about two American soldiers that participated in the Vietnam War. These stories were told to me by a family friend, and I feel so honored that Steve allowed me to share his stories with you. Each story Steve shared with me impacted me on such a profound soul level of my being that I asked him if I could share them with you so you, too, could experience the power of them on this Memorial Day weekend.
In Episode 10, I discuss how all of the previous podcast episodes have built upon each other, leading you to this next step of surrender. I am speaking about surrendering your ego's expectations and ideals for what you think you want your life to look like to your higher self and Source so they can guide you to a life beyond your conscious mind's wildest dreams. I give several examples from my life about situations where I was given a chance to surrender my personality's ideals to be blessed with something greater than I ever could have imagined possible for me.
In Episode 9, I'm blessed to be accompanied by my dad. I am so excited about the podcast episode! When I first created the Unraveling The Veil podcast, I wanted it to be about more than the steps and lessons I've learned in my spiritual awakening and journey to my authentic self. I also wanted to host conversations with other people about their experiences with signs from beyond, their growing spirituality and trust in their intuition, working in careers they are passionate about, etc. I want to say a huge special thanks to my dad for loving me and supporting me. Without his willingness to share his stories, this episode would not have been possible, and I genuinely feel like it has the power to help others. This episode contains several stories of how signs from beyond can significantly impact your life, and some signs can even save our life. Please send him love and thanks for stepping outside his comfort zone to share his stories with the world. "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength while loving someone deeply gives you courage" — Lao Tzuhis
In episode 8, I discuss how more often than not, the most significant obstacle standing in our way to living the life of our dreams is the requirement for us to step outside of our comfort zone. For us to move forward, we need to step into the unknown, and that is scary. No matter what happens in that space outside of our comfort zone, we will forever be changed and can no longer go back to living life the exact way we were before. The truth of that is often what keeps people living in the safety of their comfort zone. I also talk about how all of the lessons in the prior episodes incorporated together can lead to living the life we’ve always longed for.
Episode 7 is about understanding how every person has a different lens through which they view the world. By fully understanding this concept, we as individuals and a collective are better positioned to stay open-minded when confronted with a person or situation that doesn’t make sense. Instead of judging or jumping to defend our viewpoints on the subject at hand, we can choose to approach the situation differently. We can choose to remain curious and take the opportunity presented in front of us to ask them to share their perspective on the situation. If it’s a situation, we can choose to turn inward and unpack how we feel about this situation. We can question where these feelings are coming from and why we want to react the way we do. By understanding this concept, we have the opportunity to free ourselves from so many unfounded beliefs, judgments, misunderstandings, etc., and learn more about the world than we ever could have dreamed.
In episode 6, I discuss how we can take our power back by deciding to be aware of what we are focusing on. There are so many external conditions that are part of our everyday lives. It’s so important that we know how we choose to react to external conditions and what we choose to focus on. The only thing that we have complete control over in our lives is ourselves. I give examples from my own life regarding how easy it is for our day or current moment to be derailed by tiny little things like an e-mail or advertisement.
I also share my perspective on a beautiful song by Pink and Nate Ruess, "Just Give Me A Reason," as I feel that it demonstrates the power of focus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpQFFLBMEPI
In episode 5, I ask you to open your mind up to the possibilities of what our emotions are for. When was the last time that you asked yourself why we experience these feelings every day? Are they with us as part of our experience of life for the sole purpose of adding richness to it, or could there be a greater significance to them? What if they could be used to guide us on our way to creating the life of our dreams? What happens to these emotions when we stuff them down because it's not a good time and place to process through them?

In episode 4, Instead of focusing on the next step in my journey, I'm giving you a snapshot comparison of where I am today vs. the advice that I was given back in December 2017. I'm really ecstatic about this episode because I'm able to talk about how concepts that weren't even on my radar in 2017 are now part of my daily routine. It feels like that session planted the initial seed, and over time, those concepts blossomed irrevocably, changing my life for the better. It's been so much fun creating this episode; I hope that you enjoy hearing the changes that are possible.
In episode 3, we discuss how loving yourself means loving your authentic self. If this is a new concept, it may require you to dig deep and genuinely ask yourself who you are, what your values are, what inspires you, what brings you joy? If you’re like me, you may find that you’ve completely turned off aspects of yourself because they made you too vulnerable. We also discuss how every person has intuitive nudges/gut instincts and how honoring those is another way to love yourself. These instincts could lead you to an abundance of opportunities that you may never have imagined were possible, or they could save your life.
In episode 2, we discuss how I first got started down the path of combining alternative healing modalities with traditional Western medicine. I also share some of the first alternative healing techniques, the use of EFT tapping and Yoga, that I learned to aide me on my healing journey. Lastly, we discuss the most important lesson that I have learned while on this journey, which is learning to love yourself unconditionally flaws and all.
