Hi guys! Welcome to Starbucks & Sainthood, our classroom podcast. Each week I will be meeting with friends and family over a cup of coffee to discuss various topics centered around our faith and spiritual formation. The goal of this podcast is to help you on your personal journey towards sainthood!
Each guest will give testimony to how they have witnessed God’s work throughout their lives, and how they are being called to respond to Him.
I am lucky to be surrounded by people who call me to the foot of the Cross, and I am so excited to share their stories with you!
This week on "Starbucks and Sainthood," I have invited my cousin, Nick Lackney, to join me! He is recent graduate from the University of Minnesota where he received a Bachelors degree in Family Therapy. Drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2019, he is currently playing baseball professionally on a minor league team. Nick was not raised Catholic, however he came to find Jesus throughout his college career. He eventually became associated with "Athletes in Action," a Christian fellowship group. He will speaking with me about his conversion and how a little curiosity blossomed into the flourishing faith he holds today.
Join me this week as I talk to my dear friend, Christine Rice, about her spiritual journey on her way towards her vocation of religious life. We will be talking about her Catholic upbringing, her discernment process, different forms of prayer and times when she felt uneasy about her call. We will also be answering a couple of your questions! Enjoy!
