Grant and I have been friends for over ten years. We used to work at the same establishment and have many a coffee together. Grant is currently head of Sports Science at a 6th Form College and has represented GB at Triathlon as well as working in professional football. His story is not only fascinating but also has some interesting insights on education.

Andy and I speak on a weekly, even sometimes daily occurrence through social media or WhatsApp. As one of the blabbermouths, it is always great to listen to his insights on education, travel and family. I was fortunate enough to eventually catch up with him in Washington D.C. while he was doing some work for Shape. Andy is Shape's National Health Teacher of the Year for 2017 and you can see his passion for teaching health when you speak to him and listen to his stories. Simon and I first connected through social media, then met at a PE Geek workshop and since then I have had the pleasure of visiting his him to attend teach-meets and help him and his collogues implement Google tools throughout the school. They were amazed at the ease of use and could see the benefits of implementing a GSuite culture to aid teaching and learning. Love that he has taken on my mantra of 'working smarter and not harder' by implementing GSuite tools. First met Olly at a conference down in Leicester, but had been connecting with him on social media before we met. We chatted about Google tools and looked at how to create a website for his science department. Since then he has gone on to compete his level 1 and level 2 Google Educator Awards. His teaching journey has taken him from PGCE...To Masters...To a new country.
